it fucking sucked at the spa today. I had a mini facial scheduled and a full facial. The full facial canceled last minute, so I only had the mini facial. The woman was nice and she loved it, but she didnt tip! She had a gift certificate so maybe she thought it was included in the GC. Her husband died 2 months ago so her coworkers bought her the GC so that was nice of them, I felt bad. The woman was only 47, to loose your husband that young. And my boss didnt need me to man the office, she had no office work for me to do so basically I went in and made jack shit! It sucked! |

Just the boy! So it will be Miguel and I and the boy, who will required to pay rent on a monthly basis this time, taking over Miguel's sister's apartment. Miguel's sister and her two daughters will move upstairs with the parents and when her husband is given permission to return to the States in a year he will stay there too, and in a year or two if all goes well I will buy their half of the house and the building will belong to Miguel and me....its like marriage! |

thats pretty sweet! so.........is it a house and you guys call the upstairs an 'apartment'? or in Chicago you can own an upstairs and downstairs part of an apartment building? what you are describing sounds more like what a condo here in AZ sounds like. Except its all adjoined and if you have folks living in the upstairs room/room, you have to share like the kitchen and laundry rooms so its not really privacy ready. I prefer BETCH or BISH! Im kinda over Beyotch |

It's a two flat, apartment building actually. First floor and second floor and full basement, which one day we'll remodel to make all nicey nice, maybe make it a gaming spot, we'll get a pooltable! That won't be for a couple years yet though.

so each floor has its own kitchen and such? thats awesome. we dont have stuff like that here. We dont even have basements! Only the old old early 1900s houses have basements. My guys grandparents have a basement with one bare bulb hanging and I refuse to go down there!

it is scary! I went down there once years ago when we barely started dating. No, new houses and houses for the past bazillion years dont have basements. Phoenix Guide: I have heard that some of the older homes in the Valley have basements, but until recently not many new construction homes included the feature. How come? Mr. McDonald: It's faster to build a home without a basement. Including a basement with a home adds about 30 days to the construction process. Also, if a builder is trying to provide a home with a certain square footage, it costs more to build the home with a basement than it does to add a second story to the home. Phoenix Guide: Why do builders in other states, especially in the east, build their homes with basements? Don't they have the same time/cost issues? Mr. McDonald: Not really. In colder parts of the country the foundation of a home must be set below the frost line. That means that they have to dig down several feet anyway. The additional few feet to put in a basement is not that significant. But here in Arizona, we only have to dig about 18 inches to put in a foundation, so putting in a basement for a builder represents a significant extra effort than is required. |
