Well the owner has to make sure somehow that the dog get's all the vitamins and such from the food if it doesn't eat meat. Because dogs need meat. Sometimes it is good to give them raw meat if they can stomach it.

My moms and stepdads dog Helmi Orvokki loves salads too. Also cabbage :alien

We feed the dog organic dog food. Im gonna see if I can incorporate salad or lettuce in her meals.

Can you feed dogs any vegetable or even fruits?

I think it was something like 10% of dogs meal can be vegetable based but not all dogs can stomach it nor like it. You have to try carefully. Carrots can make the fur orange especially if it's white but other than that, vegetables are okay. You can give dog little bits of fruits but it's not necessary and some say, you should not. But they always fight about such things. Who knows anymore? We have given both to all of our dogs and they have lived healthy and long lives.

She is one tough looking mofo. But she is also unique; voice too. I kind of like her. :rocks

Yeah it is a bit of a test when you feed your dog. Our last dog had a very sensitive stomach and just about anything could upset it. However the new dog can eat anything. Oh and if you did not know, onions are not for dogs. I mean very little won't be terrible but never too much. Fruits - Avocados should be avoided and grapes.

It's very confusing because the experts always disagree when it comes to nutrition. It's like when they say that something gives you cancer. I am sure everything gives you cancer so you can't eat and die then too. :alien

:huh
