I didnt do my own laundry till I moved out. But come on, you didnt think that wouldnt go noticed by throwing it in the laundry? Should have either washed them yourself or simply threw them out!

oh I definately had chores, I just never did my own laundry. It would use too much electricity to do so, my mom would say.

yeah my mom was very anal with the chores, and me and my sisters were so NOT very anal with sticking with them everyday! We were of the "every other day" variety.

my mom would make me vaccum everday. Sorry but the carpet does not get dirty enough to be vaccumed everyday! I only vaccum the carpet in my apartment once every 7-10 days. just did it today for the first time in almost 2 weeks.

and rodney you say cats are dumb? My cat hates the sound of the vaccum and she always hides in the window when I run it. But even before I run it, she hides as soon as she sees me pulling it out! She knows what it is immeidatley and that it going to make a very loud sound that she hates.

*deadpan voice*Wow . your cat is gifted.

What would really impress me is if your cat figures out how to unplug the thing to make the sound stop. My ex had a dog who used to do that everytime you tried to vacuum and he was in the same room. I'm sure he did it to get a reaction out of people. he would pull it out(very dangerous) and then look at you.

My mum was the same! She made us to chores like that every day! But, I guess she did that to teach us something. I mean, we only did the Hoovering, the washing up, folding and ironing our own clothes(weren't allowed to use the washing machine, we would break it),tyding up the living room and the kitchen..properly. And bloody groceries. Like BIG groceries on Saturdays. Small stuff during week-days. We were my mim and dad's housekeepers! :faint

lol I like the word hoovering.

yeah, my mum taught us to do stuff cause I guess she needed help with 4 kids at all varying ages. Im glad she did. As I kid I hated her for it but now Im glad I know how to do it all.

My guys mum was the same but a single parent so he knows how to do laundry, clean house, do dishes, cook for himself.

All the good stuff. Thank god because theres no way in Hell Id be a mans servant.

Alot of Hispanic men have that whole macho bullshit going on.
I wont stand for that crap.

Damn! Katherine Heigel just totally bitch slapped Grey's! Gee, I wonder who will be the next cast member to depart from the show? (thinks, thinks, thinks)

'Grey's Anatomy' star Heigl skipping Emmy quest
By LYNN ELBER, AP Television Writer Wed Jun 11, 8:55 PM PDT

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Katherine Heigl won't be chewing her manicure at this year's Emmy ceremony: She says she didn't seek a nomination because "Grey's Anatomy" failed to deliver the goods for an award-worthy performance.

Heigl, who was honored as best supporting actress in a drama last year for the ABC series, declined to put her name in consideration for a bid, a spokeswoman for the actress said Wednesday.

"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization" decided against competing, Heigl said in a written statement provided by her publicist, Melissa Kates, who was contacted by the AP.

"In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials," added Heigl. She plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy," which slipped in the ratings this past season but remained a top 10 show.

An after-hours message left with a publicist for "Grey's Anatomy" creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes was not immediately returned Wednesday night.

Heigl, who shot to box-office success last summer with the comedy "Knocked Up," has established herself as one of Hollywood's rare voices of candor.

In a Vanity Fair magazine interview published in January, she called the hit film "a little sexist" and said that it painted women as "shrews, as humorless and uptight," while the male characters were lovable and goofy.

Heigl also was outspoken when "Grey's" castmates Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight clashed last year over Washington's alleged use of a homophobic slur.

"I'm going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public. Period," Heigl said at one point of Washington, who ended up being booted from the medical drama.

Nominations for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced July 17. The ceremony is Sept. 21.

LONDON - Police have charged a man and a woman with supplying drugs to singer Amy Winehouse.

The charges stem from a video that appeared to show the singer smoking crack cocaine.

London police say John Blagrove and Cara Burton are charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and MDMA, also known as ecstasy.

The suspects were released on bail Thursday until their next court appearance on July 1.

Police began an investigation after photos from the footage were published in The Sun newspaper in January. Detectives say Winehouse will not be charged in the case.

The singer has seen her rise to fame overshadowed by media attention to her turbulent private life. She is best known for her breakthrough hit "Rehab."

lol, I love how Amy is just as much at fault for it and she's untouched. Oh celebrity.

oh I know, totally. They make such a huge deal out of her. I mean she is a decent actress but I dont know if she is totally worthy of all the praise and attention she gets. There are better actors on that show. Her character I like sometimes and other times she is annoying.

I kind of feel her though. Greys this year was good but not to the level it was the previous years. But every season is not going to be a banner season.
