I like it. Very fast game. although I can't watch a whole match for some reason. The puck moves so quick over the ice.

I was almost ousted from the gay community when i announced that I'm so over figure skating. It's so incredibly naff!

my mom loves figure skating. I can take it or leave it. I prefer the ice dancing out of all the different forms of ice skating.

curling has to be the most BORING THING EVER! And I fucking hate Nascar! The only manager at Chili's that I like, Elliot, is obsessed with Nascar.

Ofcourse it's difficult and I respect their hard work and dedication. As with all athletes. It can't be easy keeping up the speed, throughout a programme to do the jumps without destroying your ankles and popping painkillers to keep grinning on the ice when your tendons feel like they might be ripped from the bone(My cousin was a figure skater)

I read this story where a skating pair were doing a side by side spin and his blade got stuck in her skull. The woman suffered severe brain damage and lost the power of speech. a couple of years laterAt the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, she and her new skating partner won the gold medal.

forgot what she was called. But they had gold together with the Canadian pair.

I like to know a lot about sports. And I love comeback stories in sports. Plus when someone asks me why I don't like a sport. At least I know that I KNOW my enemy and can therefore make a wellinformed decision to hate it and not watch it. Without people being able to say:"You haven't even watched it! You don't even know the sport!"

Honey.....I know

my guy is obsessed with scores and teams.
he initially went to college to go into journalism or sports medicine.

aww what a nerd, he wanted to meet athletes.
He would be good as a sportscaster though.

My brother in law comes to him for score and stats info. :chuckle

thats sad about the brain damaged ice skater

Hey that sliced up skater still got Gold! Shecoul'nt shout about it. But she competed at the highest level. Good sportswoman. I like that shit heheheheheh.

Like Lance Armstrong overcoming cancer and winning the Tourde France 6 times. Or Lyudmilla Enqvist winning a silver medal at the World Championships on the 100m hurdles whilst having cancer and still going through chemo. *sob*

But Ihate it when they make those American "struggle-boohoo-stories"out of it.

"She vaulted eventhough her ankle was broken and landed on one foot. Kertry Strug is THE hero of the Olympics"what an inspiration"

Bullcrap if Moceanu would'nt have fucked up herv aults Kerry would'nt have to jump. She just did what every sportsperson would do. I watched it again on youtube. It was a crap vault and the Americans only won gold because Russia made an arse out of itself on the beam. Thanks to the EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious crowd in the Georgia Dome.

Yes, I still get upset about it after 12 years.

that is horrible. But it is amazing that it doesnt happen more often. Anyone see the movie Blades of Glory? When Will Ferrell and John whatshisface did the in the air spin that can decapitate you? That movie was fucking hysterical
