Haute couture is that artistic over-prized jumbolah but ideas run from there to your every day jeans.

exactly! Thing is that haute couture nowadays is re-hashing old ideas. Where is the new stuff?
fashion doesn't have to be expensive. Most fashion isn't. And do you call your clothes ugly? Your clothes are fashion too! The basics are what they are thanks to people like YSL.YSL is the inventor of ready to wear stuff! if it weren't for people like him(Coco Chanelle for instance) we'd all be running around wondering what to wear and tearing our heads of in frustration. Luckily that is left to those sad "fashionista's"who, follow trends but, don't make their own. thanks to YSL, there are such things as pants suits for women.Something you take for granted when you go to a job interview and want to look smart. HE invented that! And we have Coco to thank for the mini and pencil skirts and pea-coats. Simple basics that make life a lot easier. And if you like a bit of glam....nothing beats a YSL couture gown for a lady. If you don't have the means....Well, the style has already been copied and is available under a different name for a cheaper price(and suitable for machine wash) It's the inovative designers you have to thank for that. Including for your basics! Show some respect!!!

clothes like that have always been around and no designer has actuially "invented" that. However, that timeless combo did inspire people like McQueen and Versace(Donatella, that is). So even when you think you're not at all interested in fashion; you're already wearing it....everyday.... *alien tune starts playing* Come on, Jules...*Holds out YSL frock* join us...don't be afraid...see?No synthetic fabrics.....join the church of Fashion* sometimes I get dressed up and fancy but most often I dont. Even if you only dress up facy every now and then....It is something that first appeared on a catwalk. Work it!

Bombshell Testimony Filed under: Legal Matters > R. Kelly The 3some lady, Lisa Van Allen, finally testified in the R. Kelly child porno trial on Monday, and boy were her revelations shocking and disturbing. - Van Allen revealed that she did the 3some thing with R. Kelly and the underaged girl on 3 different occasions. Kelly supposedly told Van Allen that the girl central to the case was 16, though prosecutors argue she was as young as 13. - The witness identified the girl in the videotape saying she looked "just exactly how I remember her" — even remembering her breasts. - She identified Kelly by "his bald head, his hands, his genitals, his back — everything." - During the filming of one of the Van Allen 3 somes, R. Kelly cut off the filming when Van Allen started crying during three-way sex with the underage girl. - R. Kelly carried a duffel bag filled with homemade sex videotapes wherever he went, according to Van Allen. The tapes Kelly liked went with him to his recording studio, to his favorite basketball gym and to video shoots. Van Allen stated, "Wherever he was at, the [duffel] bag would follow." - Van Allen claimed Kelly's business manager, Derrel McDavid, paid her and another man $20,000 each for the return of a sex tape. To discredit Van Allen the defense revealed to the jury that Van Allen did not contact prosecutors until earlier this year, right after Georgia authorities charged her baby daddy with illegally having an AK-47 and drugs. The baby daddy got probation. The defense were also able to get Van Allen to admit that she stole a Rolex from Kelly. R. Kelly's business manager, McDavid, said through a mouthpiece, "Lisa Van Allen is an admitted thief and a liar, who wouldn't know the truth if she tripped over it. If there was any crime committed here, it was her attempt to extort money from R. Kelly." Wonder if any other witness can top Van Allen? It's time for the defense to razzle dazzle! He's dirrrrrrrrrrty muthafuckaaaaaaaah |
