Just remember the laws in those countries are made by the select few, doesn't mean everyone who lives there agrees with them.

Amen to that Jane.I don't care for how people are always lumped together. The currant president of this country is the worst ever and I had nothing to do with getting him elected or wanted him.

"We're fuckers, I know, but at least we're not publicly executing homos. We do it privately haha :chuckle "

Dude! So not funny. That is nothing to laugh about and I hope to goodness that you never encounter a basher. :tapping

Sometimes we make light of things because they are so horrific we can't find another way to deal.

But yah Dan that's exactly what I was thinking, about not generalising.

Sorry, Dan, I was just pointing out a fact.

I am trying to reconnect with my old friend Christian, the one who kept me from coming out.

Hopefully, everything will turn out for the best.

" Sorry, Dan, I was just pointing out a fact."

What fact?

"we're not publicly executing homos. We do it privately"

Where in this country does this happen?

I guess I should reword it.

We (Americans) preach about tolerance and justice for all yet we refuse to let our citizens marry because of their sexual orientation. Although in our Bill of Rights it says all men are created equal we go out of our way to make that is not true.

I guess the previous saying is void, but America is a hypocritcal country. That I learned from the Garden.

The Dutch can be such bastards. See? they are tolerant on hone hand but, coimplete arsewipes on the other.

To Ministers in Government are actually trying to BAN the Koran! They're spreading fear all over the country. Calling the Islam "the biggest threat to our nation" Bollocks! Just separate ALL religions from the state and don't make any concessions for any religion! That's how shit gets started!

Once again, that is lumping all of America together. We are not all like that.here in Maine we have equal rights and a small group of "Christians" are trying to take that away...again...I am so proud of my state to stand up to those bigots and vote them down. :rocks

yeah, i meant Anne. Not you, sowwy.

Yeah paying for condoms is rubbish. They cost almost nothing to produce yet, they are more expensive than a cigarette when you think about it.

High Schoolers in Finland get free condoms from the nurse but I know that for
many it's a bit of challenge to take them.

I would introduce the same kind of sex-education you get in The Netherlands. They start very early with education and are relatively late when they start having sex. i would'nt issue a law where you get free condoms from a certain age. that would imply taking away free choice. kids respond to that by "breaking rules" i.e: having sex and buying a condom when you're 14

the average age when kid in holland start having sex is 17

Our sexual education starts when we are about 10. It's a very good thing but
there should propably be more. Never too much info.
