Kids demand a lot of attention, I agree it must be hard. It must be so amazing to have a mini-me that it makes it all worthwhile! Cheating I don't agree with of course. People always end up getting hurt, even the person doing the cheating, when they realise what they lost because of sex. If you're not with the right person leave them before another person gets involved is what I say. I know Jesse probably thinks that's narrow minded.... but for me I couldn't cope with sleeping around within a relationship. If it works for others fine! |

Dan you are right. There are plenty of happy monogamous marriages and relationships. I was just drunk and being lippy when I posted that, and I was letting the whole Christian stranglehold on their definition of marriage and them not letting gay people get "married" influence my thinking. On the whole, I still believe marriage is more a business transaction, and is less about love. After all, if two people are in love and committed to each other, then why get married? When happens when there is a divorce? In most cases, settlements toward the ex-wife mostly. Alimony, child support, the allocation of property and such. You can't have that if you are not married, only child support. So that is what I mean when I say marriage is a farce. Marriage does not define the committment two people have made in their minds and hearts and souls to their partner. It has taken the denial of marriage rights for gays to prove that. |

So I washed my clothes yesterday here at home, and will not be visiting my older couple friends today like I usually do, along with going for cocktails where Miguel is bartending, I want to stay in and do some cleaning, think I'll rent a couple movies as well. Miguel and I were going to go to dinner with some friends tonight, but Miguel told me he didn't like it when he heard one couple we know were going to be excluded because someone in the dinner group didn't like them and I agree with Miguel, if that's the way its going to be, where friends exclude friends cause another friend doesn't like them, well we can do without that company. I swear gays can be some real bitches sometimes. |

"Jesse probably thinks that's narrow minded" Jesse is a drunken, cock sucking, hard rocking, dark sided fiend/Alien invader with an insatiable hunger for Mexican food, so pay no attention to him whatsoever.

Jesse is going to take that as a compliment!! Why do people get married? Sometimes when you are in love there is something magical and amazing about going through a ritual to declare it to one another and to the world. It's also a great excuse to throw a fabulous party! My wedding day was one of the happiest of my life. Mark and I plan to renew our vows sometime in the future--I dunno when. Maybe on our 20th anniversary. The key to not getting divorced is simply not seeing it as an option which is the case with us. These days it seems the slightest little thing goes wrong, or passion wanes or whatever and BOOM divorce. Absurd. |

Though I do not want to get married myself I still think it works for some people. Legal reasons are as good as any I think. I am not going to have kids either. There are plenty of them in this world. And for some reason you always find them crying near me and annoying the hell out of me. Still I have few cousins (kids) that are growing into star wars fans so I guess I am forcing them to a better place ![]()

I did take that as a compliment! And Anne is indeed brilliant. So I ended up renting The Fountain, which I have longed to want to see. Stars Hugh Jackman and was directed by the guy who did the brilliant movie Pi and the utterly depressing and damning Requiem for a Dream. Also rented a horror flick called Solstice which actually has Shawn Ashmore in it (Iceman of X-men). It was directed by the guy who did the Blair Witch movies, which I really did like despite the critics, both 1 and 2, I especially liked 2 better. And Jules! There is a Cloverfield rip on DVD already! Or is Cloverfield the ripoff? Hmmm. It's called Monster. Its about Japan reportedly being destroyed in an earthquake, until the film footage from some American tourists was found and showed what really happened, a monster attacked and destroyed Japan. Maybe I'll get it next time. I haven't rented movies in ages and its only because I have two 10 dollar gift cards for blockbuster that I finally ventured in. Wanted 30 Days of Night but its not out yet. So I need to sweep and mop, watch the Martha Jones Torchwood episode I just downloaded, and then watch the movies, and the faster I get off this comp the faster I can achieve all this! |

No there were ghosts! The people were fooled by them! Possessed even! By the true curse of the Blair Witch! That movie was so misunderstood. I found it brilliant. |

omg we just had a talk over lunch about ever having kids. it was because he found out his 16 yr old cousin is preggo. I fucking hate teen pregnancy. its rampant and all peeps under 25 without a decent job shouldnt be allowed to. she just fucking ruined her life. do you really think the babys dad is gonna stick around? or any other guy is gonna want her really with a kid? my half sister got preggo at 17 and so did a cousin of mine and a bunch of other stupid teens. we came to the conclusion we are too selfish to have any at this time or in the near future. |

I am very pro choice. I think if the baby is gonna have a shitty life, best to terminate it in the early stages. People who wanna bitch and scream about how it's murder and bomb clinics and shit should be forced to adopt some of these unwanted kids. Ever notice how most protestors don't have children? |

I agree Jules, it totally amazes me how many teen girls are so fucking dumb and allow themselves to get pregnant. And the ones who are even more dumb are the ones who get knocked up 2 or 3 times even as a teen! Well my little sister got knocked up at 17, then again at 18. First one was aborted, the second one a miscarriage. As far as I know she hasnt been dumb enough to get pregnant since but now she is 26 so if she got pregnant now it obviously would be more appropriate. She has a good job, a good guy and she has already been selfish enough and lived enough, she got all the partying out of her system. Speaking of my sister's teen pregnancy, the guy who knocked her up in highschool (her hs bf of 3 years) whom I never liked but she was obsessed with him (his looks were his only good attribute that I can recall) was married and is now divorced and COINCIDENTALLY of all places, he is moving to the same town in Florida where my sister has been living for the past year and a half! My sister RAN INTO HIM down there. can you fucking believe it? My sister was always very weak when it came to this boy, and him with her as well. I wonder if she will end up messing around with him, even though she lives with her boyfriend. |
