CHICAGO - "Multiple" victims were found Saturday at a clothing store in a strip mall of a Chicago suburb, but there was no sign of the shooter, authorities said. They did not immediately confirm a report that four people had been killed.

Police Sgt. T.J. Grady said officers responding to a 911 call about a shooting at the Brookside Marketplace at about 10:45 a.m. found the shooting victims inside a Lane Bryant store.

Grady refused to give other details at a news conference or take questions, but said the attacker had apparently left the area in the suburbs southwest of downtown Chicago.

"No motive has been established," Grady said. "Every store was immediately canvassed and a search by air, too, has given us every indication that the offender has left the scene."

Will County Coroner Patrick O'Neil had told the Chicago Tribune earlier that police reported four deaths.

Grady said police were looking for a 5-foot-9 black man weighing 230 to 260 pounds. He was last wearing a black waist-length winter coat, a black cap and black jeans.

Police allowed some shoppers into parts of the strip mall Saturday afternoon, but they cordoned off the Lane Bryant store.

Witness: 'Hands on their gun holsters'
Tracy Caccavella said she was shopping at a Pet Smart store across the parking lot late Saturday morning when police entered the pet supply store.

"Six police entered the store with their hands on their gun holsters," Caccavella said.

The officers left after searching the Pet Smart store, she said.

There was no immediate response to calls seeking comment from Lane Bryant Brand headquarters.

This breaking news story will be updated.

Torrents are amazing!

Had a good night, went out to eat then to the bar. One of them great nights where a bunch of us just joked around and had a ton of laughs.

The lever for the hot water in the kitchen sink twisted off yesterday and there was hot water shooting up in a jet stream soaking everything including me! I got the lever and put it back in and tried to twist it back into place but it wouldn't! I had to stand there holding in place so that no water would shoot out. So I was stuck there trying to figure out what to do when Duh I says, shut off the water from below the sink. So I stretched and bent down but couldn't find the valve, I could see the one for the cold water but not the hot. So I brainstormed and got a couple pots and pans and placed them over the water spout and it held, so I was able to shut off the hot water from the valve below.

I called the building maintainance person and he's here now, early on a sunday morning, replacing the entire kitchen sink faucet.

Housing is too expensive where I live! I'm better off renting!

What did you eat?

I was at my friend Mario's place last night, the hot latin guy if you recall? He doesn't have a lot of stuff but what he has are really nice, I fell in love with his table chairs in his kitchen. The table is shaped like a guitar pick, and has two nice swivel chairs on either side and a nice bench seat at the longer end. I've never seen anything like it.

And he has a beautiful yellow canary and a tank with three froggies in it! :clap

I've always told myself less is better. Objects stand out more. I have so much crap that nothing can distinguish itself. Sometimes I just want to toss half the shit I have away! But I won't, cause its mine.
