Okay, New Year's Eve (Sunday) I met this boy named Cornelius he's 19 and attends Western Michigan University. Now I met him at Joe's who had invited another boy along hoping it was going to be an foursome... but Cornelius, although he did stuff really didn't partake into the foursome that proved to be too much for all of us. Anyway we went back to his place and talked for like two hours, damn he is a deep thinker!!!, and ended up having sex. The best sex ever he said, thank you very much. Give me my props. Anyway I think we both new there was something there and neither of us knew what to do with it. I mean I was looking for a relationship and a long lasting one at that. I told him I wanted love and none of that high school crap that everyone enjoys doing. We ended up asking ourseleves what do we want from each other and all that. He drove me home and I thought about it. He picked me up on Tuesday and we talked for so long about the same thing. I told him I will give the long distance relationship thing a try since he's in college in Grand Rapids but did I make the right descicion. Should I give this man my all and hope he doesn't hurt me? I mean, I wanted a real relationship and here it is. What am I to do? |

its up to you and what you want. if he has the same feelings then why not? just dont get too ahead of yourselves. dont pledge love too fast as it seems to have a way with blowing up in your face (from seeing it happen with friends) sex doesnt = love at least not so soon. thats cool, it seems you found an equa matchl |

From him.... Hey you, How are you doing my love? So Its about 6:30 and I just got home kinda bored. I know you are gonna call me tonight and can wait to see you. But seeing how I can't call you I needed to write you becasue you were on my mind.Baby words can not describe how I am truly in an enigma with you. I feel as if I have a strong desire to be with you. There is a thought in my mind that constantly reoccurs, the thought is you. I have never met someone who was so relateable to me. Your thought pattern is amazing and I really like you!! SO MUCH!! I feel like a small child, I am so afraid I just want you to be in my life. I want to hold you, I want to kiss you!,I want to get to know you more. What I am saying is I think you might be my soul mate ... oh my gosh im like freaking out. well Whenever you read this.... just remember what I am saying is true and is coming striaght from my heart! ~Cornelius!~ |

The E word? You mean enigma? You gotta love our country's inner city education system. Enigma means mystery, basically. As for all of this, I will not lie to you, nor will I be disillusioned in my own biased perception. It all really sounds nice Darrelle, and I say go for it. But I also say these are the things which could ulitmately hurt us, our willingness to throw caution to the wind, our desire to immediately go with our first and unproven feelings. I did it with Miguel though, and we are still together after four years and four months. But things don't always end up that way. If you are ready to expericence heartache, and none of us really set out to experience that, than go for it. If you don't want it yet, and believe me it will come in the gay world of ours...we don't have those old fashioned values the hetros have...then don't place your heart in the mix, just go for it as an experience. I do wish you the best of course. I just caution you to be careful where you place your heart. Have fun and be safe! |

What's there to ponder? Just see what happens. It might become something or not. Just don't give all of yourself to it just yet. You are "seeing" him, not writing a romance novel. It's cool to have a crush but do not be blind about it. |

:hug that sucks on many levels oi I think you have to meet someone that is on the same level and has the same desires as you. not looks or anything superficial. you just have to click and make that feeling last. thats what it takes. Making that feeling last. I still looki at my guy and get all sissified and butterflies. We still think of eachother as how we met and what drove us to eachother nerdy or not. lol does that make sense? |

Thank you, Jess. I am sorry the inner city education does not work for you. But I shall heed your words along with everyone elses. Right now he is Mr. Right now and hopefully down the road he can become Mr. Right. |
