$12.89! I've waited a long time for this paperback edition, cause the original hardcover was close to $40! The only drawback on Hancock is that he doesn't place much emphasis on aliens which I think is foolish but he does some amazing factual research, I HIGHLY recommend his Fingerprints of the Gods book. Here's another good ass sounding book but its $25 in paperback even! That's kind of steep... In "Hidden Truth – Forbidden Knowledge" Dr. Greer provides his own personal disclosure based on years of high-level meetings with over 450 military and government-connected insiders and whistle-blowers and briefings with senior government officials, such as former CIA Director R. James Woolsey, members of the US Senate and senior UN officials. In addition to these disclosures, "Hidden Truth – Forbidden Knowledge" unveils the actual contact experiences Dr. Greer has had with UFOs and Extraterrestrial Civilizations, beginning as a young child. In one of the most amazing and moving personal stories ever shared, he explains how after a prolonged near-death experience at age 17, he experienced cosmic consciousness and found the Rosetta Stone of ET contact: the power of the unbounded mind within each of us. Later this led to numerous Close Encounters of the 5th Kind: contact with ETs initiated by Dr. Greer and later by larger groups of people through the CSETI (Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project. |

The new age section mostly Jules, you'll find Hancock in the science section sometimes. Hmmm, I either get these books for the Carnivale set, don't know just yet. |

Here's another interesting one: For most Americans, the word NASA suggests a squeaky-clean image of technological infallibility. Yet the truth is that NASA was born in a lie, and has concealed the truths about its occult origins. Dark Mission documents this seemingly wild assertion. Why is the Bush administration intent on returning to the moon as quickly as possible? What are the reasons for the current “space race” with China, Russia, even India? Remarkable images reproduced within this book provided to author Richard C. Hoagland by disaffected NASA employees provide clues why, including information about suppressed lunar discoveries. Mystical organizations quietly dominate NASA, carrying out their own secret agendas behind the scenes. This is the story of men at the very fringes of rational thought and conventional wisdom, operating at the highest levels of our country. Their policies are far more aligned with ancient religions and secret mystery schools than the facade of rational science NASA has successfully promoted to the world for almost fifty years. Dark Mission is proof of the secret history of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the astonishing, seminal discoveries it has repeatedly suppressed for decades. ________________________________________________________________ I should look up those books on the Spear of Destiny that I've longed to read as well |

Well I've thought long and hard and am passing on the Carnivale DVD's. There are two books I would like to get instead in addition to the Hancock one, I would have gotten and read those books long before I rewatched the two seasons of Carnivale, besides, I still have the two seasons of Twin Peaks I bought which I am still trying to set time aside to watch. So my beloved Lord of the Rings extended edition movies on DVD and three awesome books, thanks Miguel and Martin!

Hey Jane! I'm going to slum around at a Border's bookstore. That Amazon thing is still puzzling me. I even found proof online that it can be done on Amazon's own website! Let me read that shit again... |

OMG I finally fucking did it! There is a site specifically that one needs to enter through, its a Borders teamed with Amazon site, and you can search that site which essentially takes you to Amazon anyway, and add items to a cart. The thing is, I already had items in the Amazon cart, but that is when I shopped from Amazon directly, I didn't enter through the Borders teamed with Amazon site. So I had to remove the items, and put them back in following the correct way and bingo it finally took the card number. That is some stupid ass shit but I'm getting three movies and three books and that makes me a happy precious! Now I need a fucking drink! |
