some lady came to the door so I answered and she asked "Can I speak to your mom or dad?"

I told her "Im the lady of the house" and she was all :shock :shock

she wanted to sell something but I told her I wasnt interested.

She thought I was a youngin!

two years ago when I lived with that bitch Laureen I ordered the cable and the cable guy came out and he thought I was under 18! He asked if I had my parents permission to sign for it! I said sir, I am 28! :faint

I'll have to buy one of them converter boxes for my kitchen tv, it better not be expensive! I'll have Miguel pay for half of it cause he watches that one just as much as I.

Jesse I reckon the prices of digital tv will go down

especially a small one for the kitchen.
or you can just get cable.

I see KT! :dan

We'll see what the price difference is, but I'm not paying extra to have cable in the kitchen, I pay enough as it is for the cable I barely watch

here you only pay for them to install a cable thing.
the price stays the same whether you have 2 or 4 tvs.
just the service.

hows it like there?

Ah I'm not too shabby. On my xmas hols at the mo after a mental month of essays and all sorts of shit at uni. Had a load of really stupid *headdesk* style stuff happen (the most annoying being getting my debit card details stolen and some twat using all of my overdraft in Italy!) but am just chilling and spending quality time with my pyjamas now hehe.
In terms of the rock star stuff, I was awarded a music scholarship this year so I get free lessons (hurrah!) in composition and singing. I've already written quite a bit of new stuff and made a music video with my band last year! It was only one for the uni tv station thoughs o don't expect to see it on real tv any time soon heheh. I'm making a music show of my own now too at uni, showcasing really good musicians on campus :)

So what's new aroudn here? Any exciting plans for xmas or NYE?

This salad has only made me more hungry :huh

Sorry to hear about that theft KT, vile bastards, hope they get theirs in the end. I hope the bank didn't make you liable for the purchases!

Coolness with the scholarship and the music thing! Keep on rocking!

Xmas will be spent with my boyfriends family (we spent Thanksgiving with mine) and New Years I'll be with him while he works the bar at the restaurant. I shall dine on lobster and drink martini's all night and be totally pissed by midnight! :clap

Ooh wow! Congrats to Alondria then! :hug

Uni's great and I love it, though it's just this last term it's been kicking my arse a bit in terms of the workload. I stupidly thought it wouldn't get harder in the 3rd year LOL. I love all my modules though (Transhumanism especially! It's mental!) so that's a plus. I'm just sick of writing long essays about jazz music haha.

[edit] the bank reimbursed me, thank God. But I dunno if they caught the dickhead that did it.
;d
Sounds like drunken holidays all round then!

Transhumanism? Can you give a synopsis? I have heard of the term, but I don't know if its in the same context in which I have heard it. Involving genetic manipulation and splicing and the merging of humans and animals! It's evil! :priest
