I went to the Golden Compass website and learned about daemons, daemons in that world are the animal representations of a persons soul and they follow them throughout their lives, children's daemons change shape but as they grow older it settles into a final form based upon their nature and character.

So there is this little test where you get to see what your daemon would be, mine would be an ocelet which of the feline species. I can dig it.

My daemon was a snow leopard :clap . He was a very cool looking cat. I don't know why but I'm really excited to see this movie. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

I should see that movie! Maybe during my xmas holiday.

I got the Lion daemon. Responsible, solitary, inquisitive, fickle and clever. His name is Persaon. Okay then.

I heard the movie is a watered down version of the book. I really want to read the books though!

Ike Turner was still alive? I thought he was already dead!

I was busier at Chili's today than normal because two servers called out. Made pretty decent for a lunch shift, by far the most I have made on lunch thus far.

but I am still broke this week and so much I need. Cat food, gas, food, some products for my facial party, some more xmas stuff.

the cook made a mistake on the chicken quesadillas for one of my tables so I got to eat them. Quesadillas are one of my favorite foods.

I am FINALLY only 20 pages away from being done my re read of Memnoch. I think I started re reading it in late spring. It took me so long cause I was stupid and was reading 4 books at one time. I finished one book, almost finished memnoch and almost finished god is not great. That just leaves me with my bermuda triangle book, which means I can probably start reading The Lovely Bones like next week! :yahoo

Im actually sick of quesadillas.
you eat them your whole life and it gets tiring. mind you ours didnt have fancy chicken and good stuff. just cheese.

we were talking bout the stuff we ate when we were young.
My friend Kristi said her mom made casseroles galore cause they were cheap.
I told her we ate tons of beans and potatoes and tortillas.

She laughed and said our parents (now) would be charged with child abuse! :ha
She then said her kid says "hes not in the mood for whatever she cooks"

I was like... :huh

Id slap him!

thats such bullshit. my sister is guilty of the same thing. cooking french fries or making a bowl of cereal for my nephew. Hes very very picky.

We had to eat it what our parents ate or starve. Thats the way it should be. :rocks

and yeah, thats basically what a quesadilla is. cheese in a tortilla on the comal or oven.
No fancy shit in it.

I had a guy order a quesadilla today with no cheese. :huh maybe he is allergic, who knows. So I put it in like that and he made it with cheese. That was the one I ended up eating, cause he asked for no cheese. The cook (who is hispanic) said you cant make quesadillas without cheese! I said I know, but that is how he wants it. Just the meat and onions.

jules my mom was the same way, she always made us eat whatever she made. I think when I have kids they will have to eat what I make, except for veggies. If they dont like the veggies that I make then they can have a different side or I will make another kind of veggie. But as far as the main part of the meal goes, nope you eat what is made.
