I think it should be 18, when you turn 18 you go to uni, you will be drinking anyway. Plus, if everyone is legal its easier to regulate it. You can have campus bars and such. There are big differences in Europeans vs. Americans. The biggest is drinking games. Americans cannot sit down and drink, at least not at the college age, we need to play games when in groups. I was shocked how pretty much no one did games in England. The other thing is that they started drinking earlier, on a night out in America I would leave at 10, get dt by 11 and stay out til 2. Yeah you'd start pregaming around 9, but thats usually not the serious drinking (unless its a houseparty night, really the heavy drinking hits right before you go dt so you're drunk when you get there). Now in England, I'd usually head out around 9, so pregame, oh when I got home from dinner at 7? haha But, because we weren't playing games we'd drink slower, and even though I would drink a lot more over the course of the night I'd never get stupid blackout drunk cuz I was never chugging. Overall, I feel like there is a much healthier attitude about it in Europe, thats not to say that there aren't drunk idiots cuz there are. Slightly ot, but the thing that I prehaps miss the most about going out in Europe was the variety of places to go. Really in america, there are resturaunts, bars, and clubs. In fredonia there are resturaunts and bars lol. Over there yeah you could drink at resturaunts, you could casual drink at pubs, go to bars, or go to clubs. I just felt like there was more variety. |

There was a bar in the hostel I staying at in London and I met a Kiwi! And my friend dared me to pour my drink on his hand and I did, much to his shocked dismay! And I took a guy up to the room under the precept of smoking weed but with the intention of sucking his cock but there was someone sleeping in the room (I hate hostels) so I had to abandon that plan. |

Oh hostels lol. Most americans are all ew about them I don't know why, they tend to be so much cheaper and when you are just looking for a place to pass out. . . as for Kiwis, I find its hard to find normal ones! haha |
