Microchipping is evil! The mark of the beast! The evil shadow government wants to mircochip the population, 1 to know where people are at any given moment, and 2 so that when everything is in place they send out a singal to....I'm not sure, but I can assure you its evil! Now first this idea is being sold to the public for pets, and people are following along! Jane has her poor Vinnie microchipped! That signal will turn sweet Vinnie against you one day! Then they will push for children, imagine knowing where your child is at all times! And in this horrid world where abductions still occur, your child can be found in no time. And as for us, the adults, well microchips can hold important medical information in case something happens to you, doctors will know how to respond quickly. Oh there is a host of ways this is being sold to the public. It will come to the point, in this current age of war and terror, when it will be mandatory to be microchipped, for safety and security! Oh, and you won't be able to buy and sell without it! So what's your take on it? If you do it your pet Fido why not do it to little Suzie and baby John? And why not yourself too? Line up like cattle to be branded! No microchipping for anything! Not even pets! |

My Vinny's not attached to a constant signal of evilness! All he has are his name and address attached to the number of hte microchip, which can be picked up by a special machine at the vets! Anyway in UK news...already the most watched place on the planet! how's this for an interesting prospect! There are government proposals regarding car tax at the moment, whether to start charging people more money for driving down certain roads, more tolls to be introduced etc. One idea that the government is considering is installing a tracking device in every car, so they can charge us depending on how much we drive. This device would know exactly where our cars were at any time, plus they'd know if we broke the speedlimit!!! First our cars...the us..... maybe! |

Well..there have always been the good and the bad of the chip. Some people say it imposes on people's rights and other say that they can keep an eye on your loved ones. In this thought, Jesse, I must agree with you. I don't like the idea of a microchip inside my body to try and find me. The government is corrupt, that much we know. America isn't the American the Fathers wanted it to be, they even helped it to become the country it is today. The chip is not for me. I live my kids, but implanting them with a chip as if they were peices of property, no thank you! Via Independence!

If it's done by hospitals for medical info it would be great. My little cousin Chance is autistic and I think it would be really great to be able to have something like that incase he wanders away and gets lost or he gets separated from the family some how. It would also be a great for people with epilpse, diabets, severe mental disorders and handicaps. It could be very helpful in emergancies to know things like blood type, allergies, medications, diseases. |

I posted about it but I really don't see how that legislation would ever be approved. Then again Blair is really pushing for identity cards which is the step before microchipping I guess! |

hahah Jesse is sorta quoting the bible Rev 13:16 Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. 1. Scripture says it is a physical mark that is placed on or in the right hand or the forehead of the one who receives it I dont believe in this nonsense.KTHANKSBYE |

Patients told about VeriChip concern Wednesday, September 19, 2007 By BOB GROVES STAFF WRITER Thirty North Jersey patients who have microchips containing their medical records imbedded in their skin have been told to consult their doctors after recent studies linked similar devices to cancer in some animals, spokesmen for the research project said Tuesday. The patients, all affiliated with doctors at Hackensack University Medical Center, volunteered to test the emergency room efficacy of the VeriChip in a project sponsored by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. The chip, the size of a grain of rice, can be scanned at the hospital to produce a patient's medical history, if he or she is unable to communicate, and help physicians determine what treatments to use or avoid. About 2,000 people worldwide have the chip. Although federal officials say the VeriChip appears to be safe for human use, Horizon has informed patients using it to talk to their doctors or the manufacturer if they have questions, said Tom Rubino, spokesman for the state's largest health care insurer. "We'll just give people the information and let them make up their own minds," Rubino said. Several animal studies linked use of similar chips to malignant tumors in rats and mice, according to recent news reports. A spokeswoman for the Food and Drug Administration, however, said the VeriChip appears to be safe for humans. "Although we continue to monitor articles on the VeriChip, at this time there appears to be no credible cause for concern," Karen Riley said in an e-mail Tuesday. "Many divisions within FDA continue to contribute to the assurance of device safety." Federal veterinary officials are "not aware of reports concerning microchips in animals, despite many pets and livestock that are tagged each year," she said. Until it hears from the FDA that the VeriChip is unsafe for patients, Hackensack will participate in the project, said Dr. Joseph Feldman, chairman of the emergency trauma department. Rubino said Hackensack is the only hospital in New Jersey equipped to use the device, which was developed in part by a retired Montvale surgeon. The project, begun in 2006, will continue for several years. VeriChip is particularly useful for chronically ill patients, such as diabetics, he said. "You don't want somebody going into the E.R. not able to communicate, and get medications that cause them to die," Rubino said. |

I know! They have those medi bracelets for chirst's sake! How about fitting more info on them if needed? And since when has anything that caused cancer in animals ever NOT caused cancer in humans? It just takes longer because we are bigger! Anything an animal can get from a product, so can we! |
