Hoshido -Town- Shimera smiled at the stranger. “Yeah, it's better to travel with someone anyway!” she responded. She hoped that on the way she could learn more about what's going on with Nohr, or the rest of these lands. She didn't think she would be as out of the loop as she was. |

[Nohr] [Castle] “Oh will you pipe down, Steiner?” A young man in black armor, with a short purple cape and large collar appeared. He carried a large purple spell book under one arm, and his fore wore a perpetual look of annoyance... though at the moment it was mostly from the clanking of armor accompanied by loud shouting. “Let me guess, Garnet ran off again? Geez... that girl is a handful.” Leo shook his head. “... Don't let Xander know you lost our baby sister again, or who knows what he'll come up with for a punishment...” Leo was the youngest son of the Nohrian Royal Family, just a year older than Garnet. Despite his youth he had a reputation as a terrifying Battle Mage. “Well, come on Steiner, I may as well help you look if only to keep you quiet...” Leo sighed. […] Soon the covered wagon climbed the hills towards the Nohrian Castle. The Castle was a strange thing – it was at the top of a mighty hill, but the castle itself was built INTO the mountain. At the top of the hill was the entrance way, leading to stone bridges that stretched out beneath a deep chasm. Boiling lava could be seen far, far below them – though the castle was built into the middle of the cavern, suspended by mighty pillars and unseen magic. When the wagon eventually arrived, Cid nodded to the others and grabbed a small flask from his pocket. He splashed its contents on his beard and cloak, and then stumbled out of the wagon. “Heeeeeeey,” Cid called out in an exaggerated, false voice. “I got the supplies that you guys wanted, but... uhhh.... well....” One of the guards soon approached Cid, and grimaced at the smell of booze wafting from him. “You're drunk! Did you even bring the supplies, you bastard?” “Ugh don't yell so loud...” Cid winced. He was making quite the scene – ample time for the others to sneak out of the wagon and into the castle... |

Nohr [Castle] Steiner stood resolute as Leo spoke of Xander and his potential punishment. "It...is unfortunate, but just, if I cannot keep track of my charge..." he said, reflecting on that. "...though I would prefer it...I...it's silly, I know, but I could SWEAR that she TRIES to hide from me sometimes. Almost as if she WANTS to get away...clearly, this can't be the case, but...bah, forgive me. Speaking so ill of the princess...I would be most appreciative of any assistance..." He blinked at the remarks about him piping down. "Does it offend? I am sorry, if so, but...the princess must know that I am seeking her. Letting her know that I desire to find her would make it quicker to resolve the misunderstanding, correct?" he asked, as they continued to search. --- Didymus was quiet as he grabbed some of the boxes in the wagon. Cecil, for his part, stepped out, also carrying a box. "This way to the kitchen..." he said. "...where we can...deposit these boxes." This was true; they would certainly leave the boxes there...he began to lead them away, Didymus and Cecil (and possibly Aiden) letting their overcloaks cover them as they made their way into the castle while Cid made the scene...Didymus was quiet as they moved... |

-Nohr- Clearing Liam paused as Graham changed his weapon, the rocky whip swinging towards him. He charged forward, attempting to cover the distance rapidly. A whip wasn't very good close range, and while it looked like Graham could change it quickly... hopefully not quickly enough. Liam's sword was coming for a slash in his charge, but he was intending to feint with it and bring his other arm up for a punch! Castle Aiden stayed close to Didymus, as instructed as they made their way to the castle, her heart beating fast for a number of reasons, but she was focused on the mission. She grabbed a small box as well, following behind Didymus to keep her features hidden as she headed for the kitchen with Didymus. -Galdwin- Capitol Gallic looked over the room, hesitating for a moment, then shook his head slightly. A thought had occurred to him that perhaps Richard would have this room listened in on, either magically or mundanely, but... no. Gallic was a good judge of character, and Richard would be above the board, provided you stayed above the board yourself. “It is quite a burden,” Gallic said, “I've seen first hand what happens when a king fails to keep it, and how a guilded society may look good on the outside. Someday I hope my daughter Nanami will be worthy enough to bare it as well.” He knew that was one small contention between himself and Rin. He believed worth must be earned, Rin believed it was due. “And I think I could quite go for the feast. Long travels do make me hungry,” Gallic smiled. -Hoshido- Town Moniker grinned, nodding her head. “Excellent, we'll be travel buddies for now then! Are you hungry after your trip at all?” |

[Nohr] [Castle] “And now you speak ill of those above your station – honestly, Captain, how did you even make your rank?” Leo could only sigh, and shake his head. While he was the uptight sort, he knew that for whatever reason Garnet trusted Steiner... so he would ignore his natural impulses. “If she's hiding from you, she doesn't want to be found, so running about the place making all that noise won't help.” Leo opened his spellbook, flipped a few pages and then raised his hand – a purple glow appeared around his eyes, and over his fingers and then it jumped from his hand to Steiner. … and from then on, Steiner's heavy armor ceased to clank as he moved. “There. It has a duration of one hour, should be plenty of time for you to find Garnet... and I suppose I can even help you look...” […] The kitchen area of Nohr Castle was enormous – large enough to prepare a massive feast, something that was done on the regular. There were several dozen cooks running around, and various dishes already on the stoves and over the flames. No one paid much attention as the three strangers in cloaks brought in the boxes. No one, save a solitary figure standing in the back. Clad in a white and red robe, a hood hiding her face, and a large bag slung over her shoulder was a young woman. Her eyes shone beneath the hood as she spotted these 'deliverymen'... and came to dwell on Cecil. She gasped, and then quickly grabbed her bag, and a large wooden racket and dashed across the kitchen, dodging out of the way of a few helpless cooks as she ran. “S-Sir Cec- err... good sir, you came!” She ran beside Cecil and dropped the tone of her voice. “It... it is you, isn't it? Then... the Order received my letters?” [Clearing] Graham was not quite quick enough on the uptake, and fell for the feint – suddenly getting slammed in the side of his face by Liam's fist. He was knocked back reeling, and then began to laugh. “Not bad! You certainly have skills in a fight!” Graham waved his hand and the whip had vanished away, and as the swirling lights reformed in his palm they became a small club. “Who taught you to fight?” He rushed forward, but dropped down at the last moment and tried to slam Liam in the stomach with the club! [Galdwin] [Castle] Rin was quiet for a moment. She knew that Gallic had a very different view of the monarchy than she did, but then he had become a King through his exploits – whereas she had been born a royal. Still, Don Gallic fascinated her in a way no one else ever had. If there was ever someone worthy of obtaining a throne, it was him. [Streets] In the capitol city, some of the servants of King Gallic who had come with the delegation from Aurelia were gathering on the street. All of them looked very nervous, aside from two young adults standing beside one of the wagons. The first was male, tall, pale and with his dark hair framing his face. He had a large scar across the brim of his nose, and eyes as fierce and red as a volcano – but somehow they held a warmth and kindness unparalleled in Aurelia. At his side was a woman who looked much the same – tall, pale with here long black hair in a ponytail and the same crimson eyes. She wore a look of annoyance, while the boy was positively chipper. “This is a bad idea.” The woman scolded. “Would you rather be cooped up in the castle with mom and dad? Rubbing elbows with the King of Galdwin is no way to truly know this nation! You can't experience how a nation truly is from behind castle walls, with the monarchy. You have to walk the streets and see the people!” “... We're monarchy.” Nanami Nomura sighed as she pointed out that little detail. “Shhhh! Don't go blabbing that around! Whatever Galdwin's reputation, there are bad seeds everywhere and it's unwise to advertise who are, Nami-chan.” Taichi Nomura just grinned as he threw his arm around his sister. “Now come on! Let's go explore this place!” Edited by GoldenSama, Jul 12 2017, 06:00 PM.

Nohr [Castle] Steiner hung his head when he was being scolded by Leo, aware that he was speaking out of turn. He didn't MEAN anything by it, honest! He just was stating how it SEEMED, in some hope, perhaps, that maybe Garnet's siblings could have a talk with her. But he balked a bit at Leo's statement. "H-hiding from me?! How...that cannot be true, can it? The princess would never do such a thing! She trusts me, she knows I merely wish to look out for her...I did not mean to suggest she WOULD be so misbehaved as to HIDE from her bodyguard!" he began saying. "...but...if you wish to help me look...then thank you, I could use the aid, I suppose..." He continued searching, knowing they were nearing the kitchen. --- Didymus couldn't help but feel a bit hungry seeing the kitchen-but he had to stay focused. He noted that Aiden was staying close by him-he noticed she always tended to try hovering close to him when they were together, but now he just noted it was tactical-he HAD urged her to stay close to one of them. Then he saw another figure, who gasped upon their arrival, and hurried over. He couldn't get a terribly good look at her as she rushed over, her own face seemingly hidden-but he did catch a glimpse, it seemed, of a frame perhaps similar to Aiden's in that it was petite, and he wasn't sure if he caught a glimpse of much under it-he thought he could see dark hair in a stark contrast to the other female with them. He remained silent and alert as Cecil resisted the urge to kneel. "I...yes. It is I,milady, and yes, the Order has come." he said, indicating Didymus. "I have brought allies, but no time for talk. Let us move, catch up later. These two will help." he said, once again indicating Didymus and Aiden. "Stay close, princess." he said, and after they had deposited their boxes, he turned to leave... Galdwin [Capitol] "Indeed, we share that concern with the future generation. Children are the future after all...Lord have mercy on us." Richard laughed, as his son simply stood there, and chuckled a little less heartily. "But your son has made great strides towards that, sir." Percival added. "That he has, that he has." Richard said. "Make no mistake, my son, I am proud to see the man you're becoming." "Thank you, father." his son simply said. "And thank you, Elder." he said to the Paladin. "In any case, yes, come, let us feast! Enjoy the hospitality of Galdwin! But speaking of children..." he said, beginning to lead them to the dining hall. "...where are yours, might I ask?" [Streets] The evening was setting in, and lamplighters were slowly making their ways down the streets, some clad in the robes of monks. Occassionally a guard could be seen walking the beat or standing a post, but the streets weren't terribly busy as dinnertime closed in...except for those flocking to taverns or those making it to an evening service. The cathedral's great bell began to ring, indicating the hour was changing...nothing terribly out of the ordinary seemed to be on the streets, but that didn't mean that nothing was occurring anywhere that would be of interest to the Aurialian prince and princess...the city was, perhaps, waiting for them to discover, they had but to pick a destination. -Nohr- Castle Kitchen Aiden nodded towards Garnet, moving her hood enough to show her face to the princess and give her a reassuring smile. “We're here to help.” Clearing “My father taught me how to fight,” Liam said, “He was a Shepard of Ylisse for a while, but gave that up to travel the world, where he met my mother.” The Graham was charging at him too, Liam expecting a feint of his own to the right or the left. The club slammed into his stomach, knocking the wind out of him as he stumbled back, gasping for air for a moment. He hesitated for a moment, then stabbed his sword into the ground, holding his hands up. “Okay... we each got a blow in, I think that should be good enough,” Liam said, smiling. -Galdwin- Castle Gallic looked over towards Rin in their private room as they got ready for the feast, giving her a small smile. “We have a little time before the feast...” Gallic said, once the door was closed and they were alone. “Are you alright, dear?” Streets (retconning where Elysia and Kyran are! Muhahahaha.) “I'm telling you... Galdwin has some impressive inventions. Possibly because of their no magic laws...” a red headed girl said, speaking towards a girl with short black hair. “You use your shadow magic all the time...” the black haired girl said, frowning a little. “Well... not since we arrived here in Galdwin...” “Duh, don't wanna piss anyone off,” the red head said. “Besides, you're pretty famous! You got that voice everyone loves!” Kyran and Elysia traveled pretty close to the Aurelian peeps... |

[Hoshido] [Forlorn Road] Hiko bowed to Celest as well, though this bow wasn't as pronounced as the one he gave to Musashi previously. "You flatter me with your compliments. I am no master of the instrument, it is simply an art that I dabble in frequently enough to gain some limited proficiency. But be warned, traveler. Just like I have told the master samurai here, these forests are old and hide great secrets within them, secrets much older and greater than any lumbering arcane working of Nohr. I am Hiko, a wandering swordsman. For however long we shall be together, I will be in your care." That's when Musashi mentioned tea, and Hiko's expression lit up into a much more genuine expression. "Of course. Tea sounds wonderful, and we could soothe the restless spirits about us as well." Quickly making it back to the base of the tree which he used previously as his perch, Hiko picked up a wooden box pack that melded in almost perfectly with the wood of the tree, opening a few of the compartments to retrieve some herbs and a set of sake cups and a jug, made from what looked like absolutely priceless jade. "Shall we share a drink? Come, let us sit. A meeting must be accompanied with welcome." |

Hoshido -Town- “Starving!” Shimera responded, her eyes almost glowing. She had eaten before leaving, but thinking about it she wasn't too sure how long she had been flying. She looked up to the sky to look at the sun's position. She left at sunrise, so... Well it didn't matter, food was always good. |

[Nohr] [Castle] The hooded figure gave a small nod. She was overjoyed to see Cecil once again. He had been renown as one of the finest Dark Knights Norh had ever produced – some even compared him to her eldest brother, Xander. Yet while many believed him a traitor for what had happened, the Princess had instead pondered a great many things since his departure from Nohr. “Thank you,” she smiled, tilting her head up high enough for a peek at her face. “You're right, we cannot stay, we have to... hurry...” She paused, her heart beating so loudly she was sure the others could hear it. This was it. She had planned and prepared for this moment, but leaving her home was far more difficult than she ever imagined. “We should go...” […] Leo and Steiner were about twenty paces from the kitchen doors when Leo suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. The spellbook he kept with him at all times suddenly began to emit a bright white smoke from the pages and Leo stared down at it, aghast. “What? It can't be... my detection spell?” His eyes widened and he turned to Steiner. “I have a great many spells placed on this book to detect the possible enemies of Nohr when they are nearby. Those ninja from Hoshido, the mages of Elgaia... but this smoke... there is a Paladin in this castle, Captain Steiner.” He snapped his fingers and suddenly something appeared in his hand. It was small and resembled a bird – although it was made from the twisting bark of a tree. “Go and inform General Beatrix, and my brother. We have intruders in the castle.” Leo scowled, and then he started dashing towards the kitchen! [Clearing] “Hahah, well fought indeed.” Graham agreed, as he gave a quick bow to Liam and then the club in his hands vanished. Once his palm was again swirling with translucent blue light, he moved it to his face and placed his palm down over his missing eye – and a moment later the bright blue eye returned to his face. “... Transmutation magic, the art of turning one object into another. Handy if you're ever in a fight, but equally useful for someone like me who lost an eye.” Graham smiled as he explained his little trick. Caitlin rushed over and punched both boys in their arms. “That wasn't half bad! I'm surprised Liam, you've really grown up. Not just some dumb kid anymore, eh?” She teased him, but Caitlin had always liked Liam. She just liked messing with him slightly more. [Galdwin] [Capitol] “I don't think our children will be joining us. Knowing my son, he is far more interested in seeing Galdwin than attending a banquet.” Rin explained to King Richard, and then with a polite bow she followed Gallic to their room to 'get ready'. … but once the door was closed, Rin scowled. “Why would I be alright? I recognize the importance of making allies with Galdwin, but I don't like being here. My entire life has been dedicated to the pursuit of my Magecraft.” Rin shook her head. [Streets] Taichi led the way, as he always did, as the two royal siblings traversed the streets of Galdwin. It seemed like a quiet place, and Taichi was fascinated by everything. He'd stop and admire the architecture of a building, or stop to watching people on their way home from work. He was utterly charmed by everything. Nanami found it all far less interesting, although she couldn't help but be curious about these people's lives. Galdwin was about as different a place from Aurelia as it was possible to be, and the common folk were living in ways completely foreign to her. Then Taichi's eyes fell on a pair of young woman walking, and he grinned and waved towards them. “Excuse me! Are you locals? I could use some directions!” Nanami groaned, following her brother silently. [Hoshido] [Forlorn Road] Musashi stopped by one of the trees and pulled a small satchel off his back. The bag itself wasn't so big, but it contained a wealth of secrets. He slipped the top off and then reached down into the bag, digging around for a moment before pulling out a small box packed with various herbs, and a second small box that contained a flint. “I don't suppose either of you – Ah! You do!” Musashi cut himself off mid-sentence as he spotted Hiko retrieving the jug and cups. “And what a fine quality they are! Very nice.” He walked back over and sat down. “And you have some tea as well! Good, I also have some with me, so we'll have a variety, which I've always said was good.” |

Nohr Didymus was able to get a glance at the face of the princess they had arrived to escort-and while his mind was focused, dedicated to being wary and focusing on the mission-he couldn't deny she looked very nice. As expected of a princess, perhaps. Either way, he kept wary, and nodded at her statement that they should leave. Cecil, too, nodded. "Just this way, my lady..." he said, finding this entire situation a tad awkward-his own desertion from the Dark Knights and his transformation left him feeling that this was both his duty, but there were parts of him that knew that he would not be received kindly here, and the truth was he HAD abandoned his duties, however right the decision to do so had been. ...but no, he couldn't focus on that. The task at hand was right, and he was on the right path, if not he would not be standing there as he was, he thought. "Of course, come along..." he didn't feel right-and Didymus, perhaps, may have felt something too. "We must hurry." Didymus said. Cecil nodded. "I believe...there are many magical defenses here..." Cecil recalled from his time as a Dark Knight. "...we may have triggered one." "Then let us move." Didymus said. "Please, Aiden, princess, stay close..." He turned to go back the way they came, himself and Cecil attempting to keep something of a protective formation around the women as they began to turn around... Cecil's hand hovered close to his blade... --- Steiner paused, biting his lip. He knew of the current monarch's...issues...with the Order, but he always looked to them as respectable knights and usually got along well whenever he would meet one, regardless of any differences of opinion. But if one was here...uninvited...he knew it would be trouble. He didn't like this one bit. "But wh-" before he could finish his sentance, Leo was off. He sighed. "Arg...what's going on?" Why did trouble always seem to surround his charge. She was a good girl, but...he couldn't allow himself to be distracted. He ran off, attempting to find his female counterpart-and the eldest of Nohr's princes. Galdwin [Capitol] Richard, his son, and Percival left the Gallic and Rin to their devices-it's true that the idea of spying on them in their room HAD crossed Richard's mind, and he had discussed it with his Paladin Elder friend (and his son, who, at his age, was being more and more integrated into matters of state/groomed to one day take his father's place)-but apart from the standard guards in the hall and Paladin nearby to ensure no...castings...we performed, he had rejected the idea as unchivalrious and potentially damaging to relations, even if the room(s) could have been prepared for such a thing ahead of time. They had gone ahead to ensure the meal was being prepared on schedule, and other small tasks as they could before it was time... [Streets] The streets of Galdwin were now well-lit with gas lamps as the sun was finally setting and night was beginning to set in. The streets were getting a bit less crowded as people settled down for dinner, into their homes, or into taverns, some attending a late service at the cathedral, and in general evening city life began to settle in. |

-Hoshido- Forlorn Road Celest found a seat himself, watching as both Hiko and Musashi pulled out various items for tea. He produced a bag as well, reaching in and pulling out a kettle and some packets as well. “I... don't know if there's some decorum I'm missing here...” Celest said carefully, sensing that Hiko and Musashi were a bit more focused on making tea. “Is there some water nearby to boil? I could cast some, but... magically made water never sits right with me...” Town Moniker grinned, grabbing Shimera's arm and bringing her over to a nearby noodle stand. “Ramen! A delicacy here,” Moniker said, nodding sagely towards Shimera. “Two ramens for me and my friend, good chef! What kind you want, Shimera?” Moniker liked extra meat. Since she was a fox. Not that Shimera knew that. -Nohr- Castle Aiden stayed close to Didymus, glancing towards Garnet and holding out her hand to grab and help her out. The cute girls should stick together! Clearing Liam grinned, sheathing his sword now, it's effects stopping as it was covered. “Pretty interesting magic... It's similar to something I've seen an uncle of mine do...” Liam said, “But not quite.” He smiled as Caitlin ran up to him and punched him, shrugging slightly. “My dad always taught me this stuff growing up. I'm just old enough now I can start putting that stuff to work,” Liam said, looking over to Rue now. -Galdwin- Capitol “I know dear... I thank you for coming though,” Gallic said, moving over to Rin, sliding a hand around her waist and holding her close. “I promise you that Aurelia will not allow laws of those kind in our own borders, so long as I sit on the throne. We can work with Galdwin... but we will not take orders from them.” Streets “Hey, Elysia, a cute guy,” Kyran said, nudging her sister as Taichi and Nanami approached them, Elysia rolling her eyes. “Hey there!” Kyran said, waving and speaking louder now so the other two could hear her, “Nope, not locals, we're new in town too! Scoping the place out, my sis here has a show later!” Elysia frowned a little. She did have a place that wanted to hire her to perform... |

[The Forgotten Forest, near the Forlorn Road] Hiko busily prepared everything that was needed. Placing four sake cups down, he made sure to pour just a little into each, setting them towards the four directions. While only three of them would be used by the trio, the fourth was there nevertheless, an open welcome for anything to join them in peace. Along with it, and along with Musashi's aid in preparation, he whispered something as he prepared the teakettle, and then filled it with water taken from a skin he took out of his wooden pack. The entire process felt almost ritualistic in a way, and the way Hiko quickly and methodically went through it exaggerated that trait quite thoroughly. In no time at all, each of them had a small cup of rice wine poured from a jade bottle, and a cup of steaming green tea that smelled strongly of the woods and trees and bark. Picking up the sake cup, Hiko slowly downed the liquid, thoroughly enjoying the taste before setting it down and calmly picking up the tea cup, taking a sip from it. "So, tell me. What brings you to this long-forgotten place? this road is rarely traveled, and with so many tales of evil spirits in the area, travelers take the longer route around through Seniwa instead. What brings two adventurers such as yourselves here?" |

[Hoshido] [The Forgotten Forest] After lending a little assistance in preparing the tea (although he was clearly not as skilled in doing so as Hiko, Musashi quickly realized) he sat back and took the small bowl of rice wine. He hadn't expected this treat, but he happily sipped at it before turning his eyes to the other two. He listened as Hiko asked, and Musashi felt a small twinge of guilt. This swordsman had so readily shared his wine, and tea, and now Musashi would have to... at the very least, omit a bit of the truth. It wouldn't do well to talk about who he was, since he was trying to leave that part of him behind. Still, he could tell the rest of his tale. “Three days ago I stopped in at a small fishing village near here. I've been there before – the people are usually happy. Simple folk, but they work hard and live proud. However, when I passed through there, near the entire village was in distress.” Musashi frowned as he recalled the story. “See... some mysterious and beautiful maiden had come to their village. Apparently she became pretty popular with the men in town – I heard all kinds of stories about men showering her with gifts and asking for her to marry them.” Musashi explained. “Anyway... about a week ago, she left the town and was seen coming towards these woods. The townsfolk all warned her it was dangerous, but she came anyway.” Musashi sipped on the tea, enjoying the flavor and the way it warmed his throat. “When I arrived in town and the people realized I was a ronin, they begged me to go and find her for them. I can never leave a girl in trouble, so I agreed – but it's been the better part of three days searching and I can't find even a trace of her.” [Nohr] [Castle] The doors at the far end of the kitchen suddenly slammed open as Leo came charging in. Several of the kitchen workers whirled around at the unexpected noise, but any anger vanished the moment they saw it was one of the monarchy who had barged in. Leo's eyes immediately scanned the room, and fell on a bevy of hooded figures near the back – including a familiar white mage's robe that he had given Garnet for her birthday a year before. Leo raised his hand and suddenly the floor in front of the door burst forth as massive roots grew up, slamming into the ceiling and covering the door. “Garnet! What is happening?” Leo called out. “L-Leo! Please!” Turning around, her hood fell from her head, and Garnet til Alexandros stared at her brother. She could see the confusion in his eyes, and the anger on his face – but she also saw the sadness that most would miss. “It's not what you think!” [Galdwin] [Capitol] Rin almost wanted to laugh when Gallic made a wholly unnecessary promise. She leaned against him for a moment, closing her eyes. “Sometimes you say the most ridiculous things. I do not fear that you will suddenly embrace their way of thinking. I would never let you make a mistake like that.” She shook her head. “Still, though I may dislike all of this, there is a purpose to it. Let us not keep our host waiting...” [Streets] Taichi smiled at the two, despite their giving him the opposite of the answer he had hoped for. Instead he simply turned his eyes to Elysia. “Oh? A show of some kind? What kind of performance do you do, young miss?” Edited by GoldenSama, Jul 14 2017, 02:11 PM.

Nohr When Garnet stepped forward to confront her brother, Didymus raised an eyebrow, and Cecil looked deeply conflicted. "We don't have time for this..." Didymus said. "If he's here, then we're caught and the rest of the castle guard is going to come. We need to MOVE." He WANTED to let Garnet talk, give her a chance to try to move her brother, but his pragmatic (and possibly pessimistic) side was telling him that that wasn't going to happen, and every moment they spend here was only going to make it harder to escape. Cecil looked torn, but slowly nodded. "You're...probably right..." he said, as Didymus shed his overcloak, revealing his Paladin attire. "In His name..." he said, and drew his sword, which began to glow. He turned it on the roots that were blocking the door and attempted to cut them down and force their way through! Meanwhile, Cecil stepped forward. "This...is my burden now." he said, then lowered his own hood, revealing himself. "Sir!" he called. "Please, if you value Nohr's future, you must let Garnet make her decision!" he wasn't quite sure how that would sound coming from him, but he had to try. "Neither she nor I love Nohr any less than you!" Didymus was striking as hard as he could, blessed blade trying to hack through the roots that were summoned up... --- "And HOW did PALADINS slip in?!" Beatrix demanded, following Steiner. "MY Knights of Pluto don't cover ALL of castle security! That's more YOUR department!" he insisted. "GARNET is your department, too, and now she's caught up in this!" Beatrix pressed further, as they both ran down the hall. "Pardon me for giving an adult her SPACE! I watched her all the same and always kept her safe!" Steiner shouted. "Not enough to prevent what's going on, clearly! Now she's going to be kidnapped or worse by foreigners!" Beatrix yelled, as they approached the kitchen. Steiner had ran about, calling guards to the kitchen and informing Beatrix and Garnet's other siblings that something was going on, Paladins were here...he honestly wasn't sure about what was unfolding, himself, but he had his orders, for now... Galdwin [Capitol] When Gallic and Rin were ready, Richard II would be there to escort them to the dining hall, his father and Elder Percival already awaiting and discussing some other issues in said hall... |
