I'll bite your legs off!

Nohr -West Gate- Didymus met Ramuh's grin with a very slight one of his own, nodding-though intrigued when the eidolon seemed to speak as though he may have been aware of Didymus' previous encounters with the mysterious creatures that answered the calls of the summoning tribe... "Yes, I have...in addition to the one that Lady Garnet summoned on our escape from Windmire..." he answered. "...this is not the first time I have escorted a summoner-and a lady summoner at that. And on my previous time, yes, I...met an eidolon...were you aware of this? Do...do you eidolons talk? I honestly don't know...and as much as I'd love to go into more detail of my previous experiences-scant as they were, with your kind, and as much as I find myself wanting to ask about the eidolon...community, if you have one...I suppose all that is best left for when we're out of danger." He paused. "So, have you any other information about passing the gate here? We have a plan, or at least a cover story, and another thing or two that may work in our favor here...but I'll admit we didn't factor in you showing up..." he almost chuckled at that remark, despite the earnestness of the situation... |

I can't see what you're imagining

-Aurelia Airship- “Perhaps Hoshido would be grateful that he was taken out then,” Gallic said almost idly, thinking back on that day for a moment. “Perhaps it is time to let Nanami step up. Send her to Hoshido to talk with them.” Gallic wanted to see how Nanami would deal with that level of responsibility. -Nohr- Hotel Sage carried Blake carefully, setting Blake down on the bed as well, looking down at the poor boy worriedly. He shook slightly, staring at them, then up towards Kanna, frowning. “Is this what you want, Kanna? For your grandchildren to kill themselves for you?” Sage asked, despite knowing Kanna could almost certainly kill him without much effort. “Because that's what Blake almost did. He also got himself killed trying to protect everyone from your actions.” Jackson House Liam glanced towards Graham as well for a moment, but didn't say anything regarding him. “I don't think they were after my sword at least...” Liam did say, placing a handle on the handle of his cold iron sword. “It's not like a lot of people can use it anyways...” He and his father were the only two that he knew could. Outside Edda hesitated for a moment, then pulled out his other sword, the one forged from a dragon's claw and scales. It shone slightly in the light as he pulled the blade from the sheath, flipping it around and carefully handing the handle to Willow. “You can't use the cold iron sword... It hurts you like your mother, but you can use this. It was gifted to me by a dragon. I don't know what's going to be happening in the future, and I know you're incredibly strong, but this can help you. It's magical in nature, so it can't be used with the cold iron sword. It can give you armor as well, and with your strength I imagine you can cut through pretty much anything,” Edda said, offering his daughter the Sol Sword... West Gate “Any help you can offer us, Master Ramuh, would be appreciated,” Zadkiel said, nodding towards the summoned guardian. “How did you get here? If Lady Garnet did not summon you, then was it someone else?” |

-Nohr- Hotel "I didn't make him do anything" Kanna said simply, allowing Sage to set the younger boy on her bed, Joyce doing the same with the his shadow creature. "Truthfully i'm surprised his shadow is still in that form. He must have overcharged himself trying to keep her from disappearing" "She would't have almost dissapeared if not for him going after Rouge-" Joyce started, glaring at her grandmother. "Once again, not my fault. The boy couldn't control himself and he paid the price. Just be glad Rouge didn't kill him outright" "Or the other way around..." Joyce muttered, leaning over her brother and shaking him. "Come on Blake, you need to wake up...." Jackson House “You can't use the cold iron sword... It hurts you like your mother, but you can use this. It was gifted to me by a dragon-" "Wait, YOU knew a dragon! Like met one! And it gave you a GIFT!?" Willow exclaimed, suddenly becoming quite excited, tempting to attack her father with several hundred questions about the experience. "I don't know what's going to be happening in the future, and I know you're incredibly strong, but this can help you. It's magical in nature, so it can't be used with the cold iron sword. It can give you armor as well, and with your strength I imagine you can cut through pretty much anything,” The girl took the two in her hands, looking down at it with wide eyes. After a moment she looked back up at Edda "This is amazing....But are you just giving me this because Mele was flirting with me back there?" [...] No eyes were on her so Rue took it as her chance to slip out of the very crowded kitchen with bread and meat in hand, depositing it on the table before leaning against the wall with a slightly relieved (and slightly nervous) sigh. |

I can't see what you're imagining

-Nohr- Hotel “He was sparking earlier... I've never seen him do that... He always said he couldn't...” Sage said, shaking his head and sitting down on a seat close to the bed. In the bed, Blake seemed to sleeping peacefully... ??? Blake looked around, seeing nothing but darkness. It didn't seem to bother him though, he felt fine in the dark. He took a step forward now, wondering just where he was... Blake froze, memories returning... he had been... trying to save Samara! “Samara?!” Blake cried out now, worry now evident on his face. “Samara where are you? Are you okay?!” Jackson House “Uhhh... yah... Name's Sol... Maybe when you're older I'll take you and Liam to see him. It's a pretty perilous journey, a lot of people attack dragons on site so he lives in a pretty isolated place,” Edda said, looking sheepish. He didn't talk about Sol much, too many people would want what a dragon could give them, real or imagined. Then Willow asked about Mele, and Edda shook his head. “Honey, if Mele did something you didn't want, you'd smash him through the walls. You don't need the sword for that... I trust you to be smart about things. Besides, I know his parents, if he tried something sinister it's them he'd have to worry about more then me.” Liam hesitated, then managed to slip out too, looking towards Rue as she entered the dining room. “Are... you okay?” Liam asked carefully. |

-Nohr- Hotel At that Kanna raised a brow. "Sparking? Like his father?" "And me" Joyce said glumly, still staring down at his brother. "His powers aren't suposed to work like that...Granted no one really knows totally how they work....But surely not like that" Kanna sighed after a moment. "Well we can't wait for Galv to come here. Could take days after he gets a letter, and I don't like your father enough to wait that long" Joyce groaned again, only torn away from her grandmother when she suddenly noticed Samara's unconscious form disappearing from the bed in a puff of dark smoke. The girl jumped, instantly turning back to Blake. "T-That cant be good...." ??? After a moment of darkness and silence a small voice broke though. A moment later Samara appeared, looking much more like her younger self- from back when Blake was just a little boy. "Blake? What are you doing here?!" she exclaimed, eyes wide as she looked up at him. Jackson House “Honey, if Mele did something you didn't want, you'd smash him through the walls. You don't need the sword for that... I trust you to be smart about things. Besides, I know his parents, if he tried something sinister it's them he'd have to worry about more then me.” Willow couldn't help but to giggle at her father, happy the man was never really the overbearing type. And he was right, if Mele tried anything she wasn't happy about she'd probably snap him in two- "Well hello there....." Willow turned, looking to see a woman who seemingly appeared from nowhere now in front of she and her dad. Before she could even ask who this woman was the younger girl clenched up, feeling a painful tightening in her chest and the terrifying inability to move- From her spot Jade clutched one hand tightly before looking to Edda with a smile. She spoke softly, casually, as if she didn't want to gather any unwanted attention. Edda would probably want that too now... "Make one false move and i'll stop the blood in her veins...." she threatened quietly. "One person notices what's happening....She's dead." [...] Rue whipped around, facing Liam as he walked in. After a second she gave a small sigh of relief (she was still expecting a very pissed off Caitlin) and a weak smile at Liam. "I'm alright, just preparing for my inevitable demise from my older sister" she joked. "Uh s-sorry about sicking your mom on you too...Asking about traveling with you didn't really go as planned." |

[Aurelia Airship] Rin frowned at the idea. “I don't know if politics is a particular strong-suit for her. Her talents lie elsewhere. Still...” Rin paused, mulling over the idea. It could be worth it. Rin didn't much care about the political leaders in Hoshido, as much as she did what Nanami could learn there. She nodded slightly. “... Let's do it.” [Hotel] “You just really don't care at all about anyone but yourself, do you?” Laila crossed her arms, appauled by Kanna's apparent disregard for Blake's safety. She groaned, walking over and looking at the unconscious boy, frowning. She couldn't help him, and it made her feel useless. So she focused instead on her anger at Kanna. [Jackson House] Caitlin sighed, taking the tray from her mom and nodding – completely oblivious to what else was going on in the house. She just paused, looking up at her mom. “... I know it's weird. I just... you know. Living way out here, helping you and dad heal people, it's nice and all, but it's not for me. I just want adventure... and Graham's a good dude, we have fun.” She paused. “N-Not like that, I mean, just, you know.” [West Gate] “No,” Ramuh shook his head to Zadkiel. “Every Summoner has one Eidolon whom is their Guardian. I am the one for Lady Garnet. Normally, I can only watch, perhaps offer advice in the form of a dream... but this is a very unusual circumstance.” He frowned, looking at the group. “... Something is... wrong, in the realm of Eidolons. I believe it is connected to the March, and the machinations of those responsible for it. I'm sure I don't need to explain what help Eidolons can be against such evil... or what a threat my kind could pose, if used for evil. Once summoned, we are bound by whomever summoned us. Our own will is irrelevent.” He stroked his beard. “Ifrit could not care less about humanity, but if Summoned to fight on your behalf, he would incinerate any threat to you loyally. Likewise, I care a great deal about protecting the mortal realms, but if summoned by the demons, I would call down thunder on all of you. I would weep in doing so, but I would do it still.” He looked to Garnet in particular as he spoke. “... Someone who is not a summoner, is trying to summon Eidolons. Normally that is impossible, but with the right Summoning Stones and enough magic... it can be done. That is why I am here. Lady Garnet is one of the few summoners with the potential to stop this. If she can master summoning, and form pacts with the Eidolons, then they cannot be used against her... but I'm afraid time is a limited resource.” |

[Jackson House] Sarai knew what Caitlin meant, but it still didn't stop the blush that involuntarily crept up her cheeks at the idea that her daughter was having any sort of fun with a young man. "He seems like a nice young man Caitlin" Sarai said quickly, looking from the boy and then back to her daughter. She lowered her voice a bit. "Though he seems like he's....Well....He seems troubled" Once could argue it was nerves from being practically thrust in front of your girlfriend's (?) parents but Sarai didn't think it was that... |

[Jackson House] Caitlin sighed, rubbing her neck and looking up to her mom. She slowly nodded her head, as she took Sarai's hand and pulled her out into one of the other rooms, further away from the kitchen and the trouble that neither realized was about to happen. Once she was sure they were away from Graham, Caitlin took a deep breath and explained. “He is... I don't know if I should say everything, but... he's looking for his missing sister. And... please don't tell dad this part, or he'll overreact, but... I think those people who came after us were after him... he's got some kind of magic in his eye.” |
