[Alliance Military Base] Sarai landed with quite a hard thud, the air knocked out of her for a moment. When she opened her eyes she gave a tiny squeak of fear seeing Connor in front of her. She attempted to scramble away, but stopped when she felt a throbbing pain in her wrist. “Are you okay? What happened?” Sarai looked up at him, opening her mouth to speak but not 100% sure what to say...She had NO clue how to explain this. So instead she just presented her throbbing wrist like a dummy. "I t-think I landed on it...." Well at least a sprained wrist would buy her a little time to think of a story.... [...] “Fires and space fighters don't mix well, there's plenty of fire suppression systems in this place, but we still need to get somewhere safe.” Melanie stared at Galv's hand with wide eyes before quickly taking it to lead her out of harms way...After all she was sure the boy knew the hangers better than she did "Where are we gonna go?" she asked worriedly. Shopping Area Chloe followed Musashi and the others closely, the girl not very fazed by the shopping district. While most girls were tempted by the opportunity to do some shopping she was not....At all. In fact nothing bored her more. Finally they made it to a small baren shop, the girl looking around curiously as Musashi greeted the shopkeeper. “... Musashi? If this is about-” “It's not!” Chloe raised a brow "Well now I kinda wanna know" she asked with a small snicker. But that would have to wait...More important fish to fry right now... |

[The Citadel] [Docks: The Cold Iron] Kagura was silent for a moment, watching Edda. This could all be a pile of bull – but if it was a chance to piss off the Empire and make some cash while she was at it, Kagura was at least intrigued. She had seen a lot of suffering brought on by the Empire, and although she had taken mercenary work for them before, she never enjoyed doing it. “Okay. I'm in.” She agreed quietly. [Alliance Military Base] Shepard swore. Garrus was right. This whole thing stunk of a distraction and that meant someone was up to no good. She took off down the corner, her pistol in hand. “You're right, we have to hurry!” Connor had a million questions and he had a sneaking suspicious that he should turn this girl over to security... but she was cute – and hurt! And Connor had taken an oath to always help those in need, right? “C-Come on.” Connor motioned to a small room at the end of the hall. “I'll take a look at your wrist and try to get you fixed up, but after that you gotta explain what's going on, okay?” [Shadow Broker Agent's Shop] The Salarian stopped and looked at the image, and he nodded his head. He turned and disappeared into the back of the store, behind a thick curtain. Musashi glanced at Chloe. “It's nothing, really. I tried to buy some info from the Shadow Broker before, but he couldn't help me.” After a few moments, the Salarian returned. “... He was here. We have him on surveillance footage at the docks, but only for a moment. No idea where he is now... However... there might be a way you can learn more, and do us a small favor to pay back the information at the same time.” “There is a man living in the lower ward of the Citadel. His name is Kanan Jarrus. He's a belligerent drunk. He owes quite a bit of money to the Shadow Broker; however... he's a gifted individual. He may be able to help you in ways I cannot. All I ask is that while you're with him you remind him to pay us. Simple. No fuss.” [TARDIS] While Rune stretched and testing his aching body, the Doctor moved to the console in the middle of the room and fiddled with switches and knobs. He moved one of the tiny screens that hung over the console and inspected it carefully. It showed the view of what was happening just beyond the door. He watched with mild concern as the bomb was attached to the door. “A Resonator Charge? Novel ideal, but...” He mumbled to himself and then turned and drew his Sonic, pointed it at the door and suddenly it let loose its whirl and glowed at the tip with a cerulean shine. He smirked to himself as he slipped it back into his pocket. Satisfied that the Resonator would now resonate at the wrong frequency and would instead destroy itself, the Doctor was about to depart when his eyes fell back on the screen and he spotted something that surprised him. He began to adjust the knobs and dials, pulling a few levers as his mind soared, going through the exact calculations he needed to make. This wouldn't be too bad – he hoped. As he worked, he addressed C's questions. “Oh you know, Doctor of this and that.” He silently grinned. “Not to worry, they're not getting in here. Better armies have tried. I'll have you away from most of them in just a moment, just have to do one quick thing first...” The Doctor pulled the final lever, and then dashed towards the door... [Civilian Dock Warehouse] The Resonator Charge began to make a strange noise and then, without warning, smoke started to leak out from the side and the device fell away from the door with a loud thud. A moment later and the door – and the rest of the box – was beginning to dematerialize from the dimension. It faded, became translucent and then vanished entirely. Even as the mercenaries were reacting in shock, the whirring sound reappeared and the TARDIS rematerialized – now just behind Nanami. She gasped and turned towards the door, and just as she did it opened and the Doctor grabbed her by the arm, pulled her inside, and then slammed the door shut. [TARDIS] “What the hell!?” Nanami was already going for her pistol as the Doctor let go and dashed past Rune and to his console, flipping the switches and levers to make the TARDIS dematerialize yet again – and this time they were going much further than just a few feet. “Relax! Everybody just relax. No need for any hostilities.” The Doctor replied. [Omega] [Imperial Ship] “... Every better.” Haruka grinned for a moment, until it was clear that she was probably going to be shot. She briefly considered going for her pistol but then Lily appeared and took the Stormtrooper down with ease. Haruka smiled, happy to see Lily but briefly concerned at seeing how tied she looked. “You're a lifesaver, Lils! I owe ya one.” She then turned to the pod, and the figure inside. “I have no idea, but I'm guessing a prisoner of the Empire – or worse. Let's get them out of here!” |

[Citadel] Shadow Broker Agent's Shop "There's got to be more to it than that," Kay added quietly, crossing her arms. Something felt amiss about this favor. The fact that no one had dealt with this Jarrus fellow yet gave Kay the suspicion that he was much more dangerous than the salarian was letting on. This was one step closer to finding Jimi and Hammah's dad though, and she knew they'd do anything to find him. Whatever's in store, she was certain they could handle it. [Omega] -Streets- Windsong shook her head, a sincere look of apology on her face. "I'm sorry, I never was able to pick up much reading material." She then grinned. "But I would kindly accept your offer!" The draiken's tail swished side to side like that of a playful cat. Even armored, she couldn't help but appear like a giddy child when her mood saw fit. |

-Citadel- Alliance Military Base “We'll head to the exit, it's not our job to fight fire... besides my powers aren't very good for stopping fires...” Galv said, heading towards the exit, holding Melanie's hand. With the emergency he was acting much more confident... Garrus ran after Shepard, a frown on the turian's face as they booked it. “If there is someone there, be careful Shepard!” Garrus called. Shadow Broker Agent's Office Jimi frowned, folding his arms over his chest and thinking. “We'll do it,” Hammah said without much thought himself, Jimi sighing softly and looking towards Kay. “You said he was gifted? How so?” Jimi asked next. Docks: The Cold Iron Edda grinned, “Welcome aboard! I'm Edda Adwr, but you already knew that.” He turned towards Solei, hearing her question, then shrugged. “Sure.” There was a moment's pause, and the airlock opened behind him, a tall, dark skinned man appearing, wearing some kind of powered armor, though his head was currently shown. He gave Edda a look. “She wants to meet you,” Edda said, pointing to Solei. “This is my partner, Paul.” Paul waved towards Solei, though remained quiet. -Omega- Imperial Ship “You can pay me back with a really big dinner,” Lily said, looking towards the pod, frowning. “We can't move the pod... we'll have to wake her up.” She looked at the controls, scowling a little. This was more her brother's thing. She pressed a few buttons at random, the pod hissing and crying out in an alarm. It took a few moments, and the girl suddenly gasped, the door swinging open. She was short, barely five feet tall, with long black hair with a bit of pink on a bang. She was dressed in some blue combat outfit, stumbling forward. “Where... where am I?” she muttered. Streets “Oh! Excellent!” Thundercracker said, handing the draiken a screen play, sized for someone normal sized. As Windsong would read it, though... Kate Journeyer: I am a woman who is sad with life and looking for something new. Josh Boyfriend: Hello! I am an attractive human male who you do not initially like. Kate Journeyer: That is correct. Perhaps we shall do something unusual and find out we have more in common then I think. And it went on a bit like that. |

The Citadel - Docks: The Cold Iron "...it is not a proper comparison, if Mr. Paul is in a mechanized suit, compared to yourself," Solei remained emotionless, as she spoke, looking Edda after having glanced at the other person in armor. "However," her attention then returned to Paul, "Do you happen to know where a shop that sells fresh fruit may be, in this city?" |

-The Citadel- The Cold Iron “Even without the suit, he's better then me,” Edda said, “That's just extra insurance.” Paul shrugged and he tapped something on his wrist, the armor shifting and disappearing behind him into a small pack behind him. “We have extras of those, by the way,” Edda mentioned to Kagura as Paul raised an eyebrow towards Solei. Paul nodded towards her, still not saying anything, the jerk. |

[The Citadel] [TARDIS] Rune blinked in surprise when The Doctor pulled out some sort of rod with a contact end, pointed it at the door, and there was a whining sound as something happened outside. Taking a closer look as his eyes focused more than usual, telescoping his vision a bit, he studied the tool, and let out a snort of disbelief. "... Is that a sonic tool? I never thought that the corporations actually got those finicky things to work right. I know that Resonance Tech worked on prototypes of sonic tools, but I didn't think they released any out into open market." And that was no lie, it was incredibly surprising to see one of those things working. A year and a half ago, C remembered that Uplink actually got their hands on a bunch of schematics on sonic tools acquired from Resonance Tech, and was lucky enough to be one of the people to see the plans in person, but he never actually saw any physical prototypes, and there was nothing similar out in the open. He wasn't surprised about that, the Corporations were secretive about their deeper research. He WAS surprised to see a working model in the hands of someone as manic as that stranger. That pointed to the uncomfortable possibility that this "Doctor" was a corporate hire or agent. And that smelled of a rat. And then, C's fears were proven when The Doctor jumped out the door, grabbed the woman in the yellow shirt, and dragged her into wherever they were before slamming the door again. So was either working with the woman in yellow or capitalizing on the situation. And since that woman in yellow was one of the bounty hunters... Rune carefully manuvered closer to the control boards of the chamber he was in now, keeping the central pillar between himself and the exit... And his current apparent captor. "You know, if you really wanted the bounty that much, you didn't need to give me false hope about a getaway. I should have known you're working together. I have no idea why you left your friends out there, but they had weapons, and you don't have any obvious ones. If you're trying to keep me alive for the bounty, I won't go along with it easily." As he spoke, small lights began to run down the optical fibers twined with his hair braid... ------------------------------------------------- [Civilian Dock Warehouse] Outside, it was chaos. The Resonance Charge began to whine a very strange noise before simply falling apart, doing absolutely no damage to the door, leaving a very stumped batarian to look at it in disbelief. That's when the box began to wheeze loudly and vanish right before their eyes. The krogan was the quickest to act. The shout of "DAMN IT! IT'S GETTING AWAY!" was immediately followed by another shotgun blast, but it did absolutely nothing. The krogan fired two more shots roaring in rage as the box vanished entirely, leaving them all standing there. The krogan spun to the batarian leader, pointing the shotgun at him. "This is YOUR fault. You let them get away!" he batarian snorted in disbelief. "If you believe that, you're a dumbass. But we did get bounty-sniped by a third party, and whoever that guy is... He just made a bad enemy. We'll get that little blonde bastard, and the suited one too." That's when the box re-appeared momentarily and Nanami was stolen out of mid-air. The krogan charged for the door The Doctor was using, trying to get there fast enough, but didn't quite manage it. Unfortunately, The Doctor made one particular mistake when coming back. He came back in the open. Unlike the krogan, the quieter batarian DID react fast enough... And as The Doctor was pulling Nanami through the door and closing it, the sniper managed to lock in and fired a single sniper round through the doorway, attempting to land a high-caliber rail-weapon round right into the base of the TARDIS' control tower... The box disappeared again, and the krogan charged right through where it was a second ago, slamming into the wall. Apoplectic with rage, the krogan grabbed a vorcha that was moving low to the ground and around the area, and slammed the creature into a nearby steel crate, crushing its skull with a loud crack into the solid metal and spraying blood and brain matter all over the crate... [Omega] [Imperial Ship] Haruka watched as the girl was set free, and she frowned a bit. She looked perfectly normal... but the combat suit she was wearing made her look less like a prisoner and more like some kind of weapon. “You're in the hold of an Imperial ship. We're rescuing you from the Empire.” Haruka announced. “Who are you?” [Citadel] [Shadow Broker Agent's Shop] The Salarian actually looked flustered for a moment by the way both Kay and Jimi gave him frowns – and then a bit more flustered by the questions. He cleared his throat and then clapped his hands. Instantly, the windows were sealed and the door too – the room had become soundproofed. “I'm... limited in what I can for free. What I can tell you is this... Kanan Jarrus possesses a rare gift. When he is actually sober enough to use it properly, he can provide insight into a great many things that even the Broker doesn't always know. However, he's fiercely anti-social. Doesn't like to be bothered and he doesn't like to pay his debts, but... he's far too valuable for the... usual manner of dealing with deadbeats.” The Salarian paused, looking thoughtful, before he continued. “... He does have one softspot, however. He's a sucker for helping people in need. Gets him in trouble a lot. I'm predicting he'll be moved by your plight in finding your father and that'll get him off the bottle long enough to remember his obligations.” [Docks: The Cold Iron] Kagura watched as Paul appeared. After waiting for a moment, she tilted her head. “Strong silent type, huh? Hmm... yeah, okay, I might go ahead and come with you guys on this one after all.” She grinned a bit and put her hands behind her head. “But I still want my cash, you got me?” [Alliance Military Base] “Relax, it's me remember?” Shepard smirked slightly as she called back to Garrus. She turned the corner and came to the security room – only to find it was empty. She swore and then looked around. “Everyone cleared out of here? That's against protocol... something had to happen...” [TARDIS] The Doctor was initially surprised that Rune seemed to realize what the Sonic Screwdriver was – at least to some extent. He hadn't thought this technology would be very widespread in this era, although time was always surprising him and history was never precisely how he remembered. “You won't find something like this on the market. This one is hand-made. Had it for a long time.” Although it had gone through several different prototypes and actual builds – the software inside had always remained consistent. Before he could show off too much, things got complicated. As he was dragging Nanami into the TARDIS, it seemed that C got the wrong idea once again and made move to try to resist. The Doctor groaned loudly and was about to try to set things straight when the TARDIS gave a sudden lurch. “What?” The Doctor immediately began ignoring both of his unwillingly companions as he dashed to the console and looked about – before noticing the hole in the TARDIS' control tower. His eyes widened and he dropped to his knees to get a closer look. “Oh no, nononononono, not now!” He suddenly looked very uncomfortable. “Please not the stabilizers, anything but-” With another violent lurch, the TARDIS was suddenly spinning out of control – and the room showed it! Despite normally keeping things consistent inside the space, the TARDIS was going wild and soon The Doctor, Nanami and C would all find themselves being tossed around the room! Nanami shouted and collided into one of the walls with a loud groan; afterwards she grabbed onto it and held on for dear life. The Doctor had rolled halfway across the floor – or was it was ceiling – and was trying in vain to make it back to the control panel. Finally, he reached it and slammed his hand on the brake lever. The TARDIS came to an immediate and loud stop. The Doctor watched as smoke poured up from the control tower and he groaned loudly. “... Ugh. Everyone alright?” He turned towards Nanami and Rune. “Right, so, we're lucky. Stabilizers were out and we just went on a bit of a trip. We're now... somewhere. In Space. Same time, though – least it should be, I didn't try to change it on that trip...” “Time?” Nanami shook her head. “What the hell is going on? Who are you people and what is this... this thing?” “I'm the Doctor. This is the TARDIS – basically a time machine, and a spaceship, and my house – oh and a pool! I've got a pool.” His grin quickly faded. “... Anyway, hadn't planned on this, but it'll take me a bit to fix this, until then we're stranded here... wherever 'here' is.” Edited by GoldenSama, Feb 1 2017, 03:34 AM.

[Citadel] -Shadow Broker Agent's Shop- The salarian sealing the shop startled Kay, but when he began speaking again she assumed there was no danger. Kay turned to Jimi. "Perhaps we should pay him a visit," she said. [Omega] -Streets- Windsong made the greatest attempt she ever had to make to not look disappointed after reading a little bit of Thundercracker's story. She may have been an Imperial soldier but she wasn't rude. It's better than nothing, she thought. "Ah...thanks! I'll read it when I'm done with my missi-" the draiken paused. "Oh no, I completely forgot!" she shouted, putting her hands to her face. She picked up her helmet and put it back on. "I'm sorry, Mr. Thundercracker, but I have something very important to do." The more she stalled around doing nothing, the longer she had left her brother to do the searching alone. She had no idea he was thoroughly searching through the one place on Omega that would give him a severe bout of anxiety by himself. |

-The Citadel- Shadow Broker Agent's Office “Fine, we can handle anything if it turns out he's belligerent,” Jimi said, sighing. “Maybe you should let me talk to him,” Hammah suggested, glancing towards Jimi and Chloe. Docks: The Cold Iron- “Yah, Paul doesn't talk much,” Edda said, smirking, Paul rolling his eyes behind Edda, though he was smiling himself. “As for payment, do you want it in credits, or equivalent goods? I'm still giving you one thing to keep still, regardless of what you chose.” Alliance Military Base Garrus moved to one of the terminals, putting his pistol down and starting to type rapidly at it. “I'm seeing if I can pull up the security footage,” Garrus said, “Let's see...” Galv glanced back towards Melanie as she asked about his powers. “Oh? Uh, electrical powers. It's nothing too special,” Galv said, even though he had enough juice to fight a lightning storm and be okay. -Omega- Imperial Ship “Em...pire?” the girl said, looking confused, “I don't... remember... A face... a white coat...” The girl shook her head, “'Remember your name.' Name is... Sa... Sayuri?” “We better get her out of here,” Lily said, looking around. She picked up the Storm trooper's blaster and fiddled with it, tossing it into the pod the girl came out of, sealing it back up. “It'll overheat and cause a mess, but we need to be out of here before it does,” Lily said, moving to the other side of Sayuri and helping Haruka carry the girl under her shoulders. Streets “A mission? What mission?” Thundercracker asked, curious, “A lot of people come to Omega for some pretty nasty stuff. No one tends to mess with me unless some other Cybertronians come to visit.” Cybertronians didn't tend to visit Omega often, it was built a little too small for their tastes, but Thundercracker was okay with it. |

[Citadel] [Alliance Military Base] Connor made sure the door was closer and then took a deep breath. He reached out and placed his hand gently on Sarai's injured wrist and then closed his eyes. Slowly, his hand began to glow with a soft gold shine and a warmth would spread across her wrist and the pain would disappear. Connor waited for a moment and then withdrew his hand; he wrist now fully repaired. “Is that better?” […] “Find it fast. I don't like this.” Shepard looked around, trying to find any clues of what had happened – but it didn't appear there were many. [Docks: The Cold Iron] “That depends on what you've got.” Kagura replied, now grinning rather sheepishly. “I'm always in the market for something good... just gotta make sure it's actually useful, you know? Not easy to be a bounty hunter.” [Shadow Broker Agent's Office] “I'd advise you don't fight him.” The Salarian shrugged. “I don't know all the details, but the Broker thinks very highly of Jarrus for being a drunken idiot. Says he has skills... and the Shadow Broker is never wrong about these sorts of things.” “Right.” Musashi didn't seem convinced. “Well, anyway, let's go find this Kanan guy.” [Omega] [Imperial Ship] Haruka, with Lily's help, supported Sayuri and started for the end of the ramp leading off the ship. Once they were outside of the ship, Haruka glanced at Lily. “Let's get her back to our place and figure out what the hell is happening. Shadow Broker Agent's Office “I won't start anything unless he starts something,” Jimi frowned, Hammah smiling softly. “Yah, let's go...” Hammah then added, turning to leave. -Omega- Haruka and Lily's Place Haruka and Lily managed to get Sayuri to the small place they were staying at, Sayuri sitting down on their couch and still looking confused. The blaster had gone off and brought the Imperials to the ship, but they had gotten far enough way before that. “So what do you remember?” Lily asked the girl, looking her over. A pretty attractive girl, around their age it seemed. She looked not quite here, but that was understandable considering she hadn't woken up not long ago from a deep sleep. “Not... much. I remember... A face? A guy, with brown hair. He looks sad. He said... 'Remember your name' and that it was Sayuri...” the girl said, a puzzled expression still on her face. “And... that's it. I woke up. What's the Empire? Who are you two?” Lily paused for a moment, thinking, “My name is Lily. This is Haruka, she's my... captain.” |

[Citadel] -Shadow Broker Agent's Shop- Kay stretched her arms forward. She was sober enough to get to business, yet intoxicated enough to have the confidence to do it. "Right, let's go," she stated. [Omega] -Streets- "It's..." Windsong trailed off. She wasn't entirely certain she should tell the cybertronian she just met about what she was doing on Omega in the first place. The mission wasn't entirely classified as far as she knew, and she could use all the help she could get. She stood straight and put on her business face. "I'm looking for two ex-Empire members. I'm supposed to bring them back alive if possible." She produced a datapad, which had photos of Shadow and Omega, and showed it to Thundercracker.. "I'm here with my brother, but we split up to widen the search. I can't ask you to tag along, but we would appreciate that if you see them anywhere, you let us know." |
