[Omega] [Streets] Kimi and Sama watched the figures appear, but as the man started mentioning the project that Guillory had apparently worked on – to make a super soldier – Kimi's eyes widened a bit, and she instinctively tensed her jaw and clenched her fist. He certainly hadn't been the scientist behind the experiments Kimi had been a part of, but knowing he had done something similar... it immediately made her hate Guillory. She wanted nothing more than to punch him to oblivion. Sama, however, was more interested in the idea that this man had tried to make Force sensitive troops. He frowned... something like that happening... he couldn't help but feel like Vader was involved. “... Huh, pretty important sounding stuff. How'd you idiots let this Guillory guy destroy your data and disappear?” Kimi asked in her usual blunt manner. [Lothal] [City Outskirts] Shepard could only roll her eyes. “I'm sure she'll be fine. Right now let's just hope we'll be able to make due with small arms if the situation arises.” They were soon entering the city proper. Although they were in the capitol of Lothal, it wasn't terribly impressive. Skyscrapers were few and far between, with a lot of empty space and many smaller buildings. Beyond the city walls, the outside looked... barren. Dirt instead of grass, and many rocky hills. “... The Empire's been strip mining the planet. Hard to know exactly how much, but... some of the estimates are the whole northern hemisphere might be barren in another year or two. What the hell do they need that many resources for?” [The Cave] Musashi and Kanan brought up the rear as the group disappeared into the darkness of the caves. The walls were lined in spider webs, and there was poor to no lighting inside. The cavern floor was cleared of dust, however, and there were several sets of tracks in the dark. Kanan stopped once, getting low and examining them. He frowned. “... Caves are definitely still populated. Hopefully the secret entrance to the temple is still there.” It was a good sign. If the Empire had found the secret tunnels, surely they would have driven the local wildlife off? Eventually as they headed off, there was a sudden low growl from the darkness. Before anyone could really react, something enormous was in front of them. A huge wolf, with piercing yellow eyes that glowed in the darkness. It growled, staring at Jimi. Kanan froze and Musashi gulped, but the wolf did not attack. [Restaurant] Connor felt restless. He knew that there was practically nothing they could do but wait, but he still felt like he should be doing... something. Still, he was trying to be brave for Sarai. He looked over the menu, not sure about any of it, but eventually settled on simply ordering a hamburger, reasoning that they were probably the same on any planet. The waitress took their orders and disappeared, and Connor just looked to Sarai. “Are you okay? You seem... jumpy.” [The Citadel] [Rica's Bar] Rica shrugged. “Nobody knows. Name, age, species, gender... it's all up in the air. Still...” He looked to Samuel. “I'm one of the Broker's most trusted lieutenants... and I have a plan to get a face-to-face meeting. I've put a lot of thought into this one. It'll work.” |

[Omega] -Mordin's Infirmary- Between the siblings there was an uncomfortable silence. While their main objective was to go home, they never thought about the possibility of other children being taken from Ko-Gek. It gave them both the terrifying thought; what if the Empire made frequent visits? Or worse? With this possibility, Lavo felt even more repulsed by the idea of even pretending to be Empire. He grimaced. “...I will find a way.” “Lavo!” Windsong steamed. “What do you mean? This is the best strategy! Any other way will result in dead ends unless someone else has a star-map that leads to Ko-Gek. And...” She stiffened her posture. “And I know neither of us work well alone!” The older brother clenched his fists. She was right. Giving it thought, she was just as unready to “rejoin” the Empire as he was. Separating from her willingly would be...childish. He sighed. “Okay. Fine. But what about your wing? If they make you fight...” She shook her head. “I can fight on the ground just as well as in air. Besides, it shouldn't take too long to pull off. We'll be back at Ko-Gek in short time.” “And what about the cybertronian we met?” Lavo asked. “We'll see him before we go. We still have his card anyway. I'm sure he'd like it back.” “I can't believe we're doing this,” Lavo muttered. [Lothal] -The Cave- Kay had caught up with everyone before they all had entered the cave. Without thinking, she had used her star-like abilities to light the darkness ahead. And then the big, bad wolf appeared. She resisted the urge to loudly proclaim how large this doggo was. She instead stepped closer to Jimi, in preparation to fight if need be. |

-The Citadel- [Galv's Workshop] Melanie's eyes lit up as Galv continued, eager to see how it worked but stopping herself. She knew that wouldn't be a good idea. "I wish I could see that" she mused [Kanna's Place] Kanna was deadpan when she saw Erin. "And her?" Jason gave a nervous laugh "Erin needs a break, since i've been working all the time she's been doing everything for Lana. I thought this culd be a break for her." "And if I refuse?" Kanna mentioned "You wouldn't refuse that face!" Jason said with a smile, motioning to his daughter. As if on cue the baby babbled happily and grabbed at Kanna's dark hair. -Lothal- [Temple] Chloe wasn't easily intimidated, so when Storm Troopers came to the car the girl played it cool, offering the device that Edda handed her. In all truth she wasn't sure what Edda had given her but she doubted he do anything to get them into trouble. [Restaurant] “Are you okay? You seem... jumpy.” Sarai stared up from from her menu to Connor, trying not to look too nervous. It was obvious Connor wasn't buying it. "I'm okay...But yeah...I guess i'm kinda jumpy. I'm sure my dad has been here before and many of the people he associated with knew me and my brothers." Sarai explained "I just don't want someone to recognize me here..." The girl stopped, looking flustered. "There are millions of people here i'm sure....I shouldn't worry." She then took a breath looking back over to him "Let's start over. T-Think of this a different way. Maybe like a vacation or something" |

[Lothal] [The Cave] The Lothwolf starred at the group, but it did not move. It didn't attack, nor did it retreat. It simply stared at them with large eyes... eyes that seemed to glow in the dim light of the cave. Then came a quiet voice, a voice that Hammah, Musashi and Kay would hear in the depths of their minds. It was soft, but unmistakably dangerous as well. “Why have you come here?” [Restaurant] Connor smiled softly at Sarai. He couldn't imagine what she was going through. It seemed frightening just how far her family's reach extended, if they could even be out here on such a small and unimportant planet. Still, Connor found himself wanting to comfort her. “I'm sure they're looking for us... but Lothal isn't a very popular spot, and it's controlled by the Empire, so I doubt it will be easy for them to find us here.” Connor reached over and nervously took her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “We'll be fine, Sarai. We're only here for a few days anyway... let's try to enjoy them, if we can, and not worry.” Easier said than done. |

-Omega- Streets The suited man smirked slightly, shaking his head. “Those responsible for security around Guillory have been... dealt with.” As in probably dead in a ditch somewhere. If they were lucky. “We would prefer the entire specimens back if you can, but any DNA sample will do,” the man then added, “And Guillory either captured or dead, but proof of demise must be presented.” Mordin's Infirmary “So you're going back to Gallic?” Shadow asked, looking at the two, then glanced towards Omega. “Omega, go find that cybertronian that's been hanging around... Omega...” Shadow said, wondering why again he brought Omega to Omega. -Lothal- Tunnels Hammah stepped forward, breathing carefully, holding his hands up. “I... my brother and I... are looking for our father. We think using the Temple here can do so...” Hammah said. Temple Entrance “We'll have to check the back,” one of the Stormtroopers said. Edda nodded, and a couple them moved around to the back. They opened the door, seeing Paul there. They stiffened, then paused, one of them saying, “All good.” before they closed the door. “Let's go,” Edda said to Chloe, grinning slightly. City Outskirts “They must be shipping it off elsewhere... but why?” Garrus said, shaking his head. “Is there something here they can't get anywhere else?” -The Citadel- Rica's Bar “And you're taking me with you for that meeting,” Samuel said, “I need those Sith holocrons...” Samuel didn't have any Force ability himself, but he wanted them for something... Galv's Workshop Galv smiled softly, rubbing his head. “I wouldn't want to somehow blast a hole into the space station!” He glanced back to Melanie, looking around, then smiled again. “So... what else would you like to see?” Kanna's Apartment “If Chloe was around I could get her to babysit,” Ethan mused, though he was smiling. “I honestly don't mind, I like kids.” Despite his less then stellar taste in women, Ethan was a good father. |

[Omega] -Mordin's Infirmary- “We don't have much of a choice,” Windsong answered Shadow. “We have to do this. If there are kids on Ko-Gek still being picked out...” She couldn't get herself to finish that sentence. Lavo said nothing. He only made a low, guttural sound and looked away from everyone else. [Lothal] -The Cave- Kay's eyes widened and she trembled. She didn't expect the giant wolf to say anything at all. She would be all over a talking dog, but this guy didn't look at all too keen on belly rubs and treats. She moved to tug Jimi's sleeve. “You...you heard that, right?” she whispered. |

-Lothal- Restaurant “I'm sure they're looking for us... but Lothal isn't a very popular spot, and it's controlled by the Empire, so I doubt it will be easy for them to find us here.” Sarai looked down at her hand as Connor took it, the girl's cheeks going rather red at the sudden action. She knew this wasn't the time to get giddy over something like this- but it was nice- and a nice distraction from the impending doom of her father finding her. “We'll be fine, Sarai. We're only here for a few days anyway... let's try to enjoy them, if we can, and not worry.” Sarai nodded. "O-Okay, I....I trust you. We'll be safe here, at least for a bit" she said, noticing their hands were still together. She only reacted to it when the waitstaff came back dropping several plates of food on their table. Sarai jumped back with a start, instantly looking back down at her lap, a tiny smile on her face. "Uh bon appetite I suppose!" she managed. Due to all the stress and worry Sarai hadn't realized just how hungry she was until just this moment, tentatively taking a bite of her meal at first before deciding it wasn't going to kill her and going all in excitedly. The food was a bit different than what she was used to- but it was good. Temple Entrance Chloe stiffened as the Stormtroopers checked the back, but she said nothing when she noticed Edda wasn't fighting their decision. A moment later they were letting them pass as if they had seen nothing. When the group was a safe distance away Chloe eyed Edda suspiciously, moving once again to drive. "What just happened" she questioned, knowing he or Paula had something to do with it. -The Citadel- Galv's Workshop "Yeah, that's probably for the best, especially considering we work for the military" Melanie noted with a small laugh. “So... what else would you like to see?” She then paused looking around the workshop. She really was interested in just about everything in the crowded room, but she was also aware that she was alone in this crowded room with a young man who she was pretty sure was interested in her just about as much as she was interested in her. "So....You usually spend a lot of time in here...Alone?" she asked, looking around once more "I mean, do a lot of people interrupt you when you work in here?" Kanna's Apartment Kanna groaned as Ethan basically aggreed to watch her granddaughter. She smacked his arm. "Don't encourage him" she muttered, relenting despite her annoyance. She then looked to Ethan. "If you're going back to work then check on Melanie" "She's a big girl you know." Jason said, moving to kiss his daughter on the head "She can take care of herself" "I know, but I don't trust the men she works with. All military men are dogs-" "Hey! I resent that remark" Jason objected. "I'm loveable" "Yet still a dog" Kanna replied, flat. "Keep an eye on your little sister" "Okay okay" Jason waved off Kanna's concern. "Erin you coming? I can drop you off at home on my way." Edited by Crystal Rose, Jan 18 2018, 06:47 PM.

[Lothal] [City Outskirts] Shepard paused, and wondered. She wasn't an expert on these matters, and knew very little of the ecology of Lothal in particular. Still, Garrus had a point. If there was something unique to Lothal it would explain the Empire's interest in this backwater planet. “Hmm...” She punched up her Omni-Tool, the bright orange holographic glove that appeared over her arm, and accessed some of the Alliance's archives. She scanned through whatever information they had on Lothal, and frowned. “I'm not seeing much... it was primarily an agricultural planet. Some mining activity, but I don't see any minerals that are particularly rare or hard to find... there's some very old rumors the planet had Khyber, but the Jedi would have mined those ages before the Empire even existed...” She paused. “That's about it... although... this is strange. Local legends about a 'giant lion' that flew across the sky... except, Lothal doesn't have many feline species, and certainly nothing that can fly. Lots of wolves, though.” She shook her head, deactivating the Omni-Tool. “Not very useful, but old legends usually have some basis in truth... but doesn't seem like the sort of thing the Empire would care about.” [The Cave] The Lothwolf stared at Hammah, and its nose twitched. For a moment it simply sniffed at him – and then its voice came once more into their minds. “... If you continue on now, you will find what you seek, but you will also take the first steps towards your destiny. It will not be an easy road... and you may regret ever walking down it. You are warned. Your future is for you to decide, now.” The Lothwolf suddenly bounded forward at them; Musashi gasped, but it jumped clean over them and as he turned to watch it run – he found it had disappeared entirely. The moment it had gotten behind them and out of their sight, it had vanished. Musashi frowned deeply. “Okay, seriously, you all saw a giant talking dog, right? I'm not just losing my mind?” He paused, remembering some of the stories his mother would tell him when he was very young, but quickly dismissing it. “Can't be...” [Restaurant] Connor watched Sarai happily for a moment, until the return of the waitstaff meant the girl jumped nearly out of her seat. He sat back, and after thanking the server, he started to eat and to try to focus on the meal. It was tasty, although rather spicy. He didn't mind, and it helped to distract him a bit from the worries on his mind. He was well-aware that he was AWOL, on a foreign planet, with a girl he barely knew whose family was dangerous criminals. He was also well-aware of how pretty Sarai was, and he hoped to see her relax and open up more, rather than look so worried. Though the more he thought about their situation, the harder it was not to worry. They were in a very strange situation. [Omega] [Streets] “Yeah, yeah, don't act like you're talking to amateurs.” Kimi shook her head as she observed the information. “Fine, we'll take care of it, just get off my ass.” “If you have no other useful information, we'll get going now.” Sama frowned. He didn't like any of this, but they had to do what they had to do. [The Citadel] Rica just nodded – and then he paused, and one of his eyebrows raised as he stared at Samuel. He was a man who dealt in information. “What's so important you need Sith holocrons for, anyway?” Rica asked, nosy as ever. “I mean I'm no expert on dead religions, but way I hear it, only someone trained in the Force can even open an holocron.” Rica smirked slightly. “So unless you're after a really fancy paperweight...” |

-Lothal- Transport “Oh, didn't you know, Paul's a wizard,” Edda said, smirking. Paul's hand came up, smacking Edda in the back of the head. “Owwww... I didn't want to tell your secrets,” Edda said. Paul's hand made some complicated gestures, which cause Edda to blush, but it ended with Paul giving a thumbs up before returning to the back of the transport. “Paul's a Force user,” Edda then told Chloe. “He can do some weird mind thing and get people to sometimes do stuff. Doesn't work on everyone. It's like... a suggestion? I asked him to try it on me once, didn't work, but I could tell he was doing something.” City Outskirts “A giant flying lion? That'd be a sight,” Garrus said idly as they walked further into the city, peering around and up at the sky, almost as if he was expecting to see one. “I don't know much about khyber, though I hear it's excellent for weapons, those Jedi used it in those blades. Always wanted one of those...” Garrus likes his weapons. The Cave “I... did...” Jimi nodded to Kay, as the Lothwolf leaped over them and headed away, puzzled now. Hammah frowned, but moved forward again, determined to find his father... -Omega- Mordin's Infirmary Omega headed out, and Shadow stepped forward, pulling out a small communicator. “Here. This... should be undetectable. Latest Empire tech we stole, it uses quantom entanglement to get messages across. It's voice only, but it's unhackable. You can use this to reach Omega and myself, if you need our help,” Shadow said, presenting them the device. Streets “We do have one more bit of information... We believe the specimens are currently on or heading to Lothal,” the Internal Security Agent said, “But that hasn't been verified yet.” -The Citadel- Galv's Workshop Galv blushed, possibly thinking along the same lines that Melanie was thinking. “Umm... yah, I do...” Galv said. “I get a lot of free reign, so long as my projects for the military are done on time... And I don't have anything due for a while... It's pretty private, got to have a code to get in too... It's 0610 if you'd like to visit again, whenever you want...” Galv was babbling a bit, but he smiled and stepped towards Melanie. “You can stay as long as you'd like, of course...” Kanna's Apartment Ethan smiled despite the smack, Erin moving forward to give Solanna a quick kiss, staring at her daughter before she nodded, heading off with Jason. “So when do you want another one, dear?” Erin asked as they headed off. Ethan shook his head with another smile, making a few faces towards Solanna to try and get her to laugh. Rica's Bar “There are... other ways to get them open,” Samuel said, frowning. “As for what I want from them, that's none of your business...” Legends were that the Sith worked to try and overcome death... something Samuel was interested in... |

[Omega] -Mordin's Infirmary- Windsong nodded at Shadow, accepting the device. “Thank you.” “There's only one,” Lavo commented. “All the better for us to stick together.” Windsong kept the communicator to herself, superficially attaching it to her suit. “We will share it.” Lavo shrugged, having no qualms over his sister having it. It was probably better that way. The older draiken stood up straighter. “We still don't know where Gallic is.” [Lothal] -The Cave- “...Well then!” Kay clapped herself out of her own trance. “I guess this means we go forward!” She made her way ahead with a new excitement. She certainly wasn't expecting a magical lupine to speak in her head (she was pretty sure no one was), but she had a good feeling about it. This was going to be one hell of an adventure, she thought. |

[Lothal] [City Outskirts] “Yeah, well good luck on that.” Shepard rolled her eyes. “Though I've heard lightsabers fetch a big price on the black market. Lots of people love the idea of one. I've also heard quite a few of the people who buy them end up losing an arm testing them out.” She frowned slightly. Lightsabers struck her as an impractical weapon. No hand-guard, and a beam of plasma that could sear through the strongest metal like it was paper. No weight in the blade, so even an experience swordsman would need time to adjust. She'd stick with a high-powered rifle any day. [The Cave] Musashi was quiet as they walked. He had seen a lot of weird things, but giant psychic wolves was a strange even by his standards. He knew that some Jedi had been able to communicate with animals, although his mother hadn't had that ability. He wondered about the wolf's words. They would find what they sought, but may regret it. He wondered if that only applied to Hammah, or if all of them would see their destiny. He wasn't even sure he believed in destiny... and certainly had no idea what his could be. [Omega] [Streets] “Wait, what did you say?” Sama looked like his jaw dropped – and there was genuine fear in his eyes. Kimi raised an eyebrow. She never saw him acting this way, at least not around the Empire. “What is it?” Kimi asked. “Lothal...” Sama shook his head. “Come on, we have to go! Now!” He grabbed Kimi's wrist and set off down the alley, not paying any further attention to the ISB Agent. As they moved, Kimi eventually pulled her arm away. “Will you slow down? The f*ck is wrong with you, Scruffy? What's so special about Lothal?” Kimi frowned. “Vader is supposed to be visiting Lothal soon.” Sama frowned. “If these specimens are there... well, if we're going to find them first, we need to move.” [Rica's Bar] “Oh come on, don't be that way.” Rica frowned, looking over to Samuel. For all his many – many years wandering the cosmos, Rica had met a lot of people. Samuel was one of the few whom he considered truly dangerous. “... Look Sammy, you know me. I've got the morals of a drunken assassin. Far be it from me to say this, but... Sith Artifacts are no joke. I've seen what the Sith were capable of.” |

-Lothal- [Transport] Chloe's eyes widened, but she continued to drive, knowing if she stopped it would raise more suspicion. She had heard of those who could use the force but didn't know any of them personally...The power sounded dangerous if used by the wrong person, but also pretty impressive too. "Well it worked on those guys....Remind me not to get on your bad side" she noted -The Citadel- [Restaurant] The pair ate in silence for a few minutes, partly because the situation was still quite awkward and partly because they were both rather famished from the trip. Every few moments Sarai would look up from from her half eaten meal, trying to think of something else to say before looking back down. She was awkward, she knew that. Despite a few casual "dates" her father convinced her to go on with men he did business with sometimes she didn't really have any experience with the opposite sex. Even those men, the ones she was suposed to be charming while her father or brothers robbed them blind tended to think she was some crazy recluse with a stutter. Often the night would end with them asking just what was wrong with her- especially if they were expecting a night in with the young woman. Instead she would stutter and ramble on about something or another- usually that she was tired, feeling ill or needed to freshen up in the restroom- the proceeding to climb out a back window and escape before things got awkward. Awkward. This was awkward. But it would never be that awkward. Connor was different. She was still tense around him but she also felt like he wasn't trying to get anything from her- in fact she had taken so much more from him since meeting. If anything she owed him as a thank you for pretty much ruining his life (and his sister's) for her sake. Sarai looked back up again, offering a small smile. "So....Do you take many girls out to dinner on dangerous foreign planets?" she joked softly. [Galv's Workshop] Melanie smiled, making a mental note of the numbers in case she wanted to visit again. She already knew she'd want to. “You can stay as long as you'd like, of course...” "I'm not due to work until tommorow morning" she said casually, looking around "Do you sleep here too?" [Kanna's Apartment] "As sweet as you too look i'm still annoyed at you" Kanna stated, glaring at Ethan as he held her granddaughter. "Ugh....A grandmother and i'm barely fourty. That's got to be some depressing record..." She sat down on the couch, debating if their night could be salvaged as they now had an adorable babling guest staying over. |

-Omega- Mordin's Infirmary “It's extremely experimental tech,” Shadow said, “You're lucky I'm giving you it as it is...” Shadow has trouble being friendly. “Shouldn't be too hard to find Gallic...” Shadow then added, glancing towards the exit, “Let's see if Omega has had any luck in finding that Cybertronian?” “Gallic is currently at the Afterlife Club,” Mordin spoke up. “At least, those are what I heard from a patient. There was a fight.” -Lothal- Restaurant As Sarai and Connor ate, someone else entered the restaurant, searching the crowd carefully... Starkiller, Vader's assassin... Though dressed in civilian clothes. Temple Tunnels “It is... something...” Jimi said to Kay as they headed forward, Hammah leading the way, feeling some... sense. Something was pulling him forward. “Hopefully we'll get in soon...” Hammah muttered, running his hands along the wall. Transport “I wouldn't worry, Paul's a big softie,” Edda said to Chloe with a grin. Paul simply smirked from the back. “Besides, that ability only works on someone with a weak will or a penchant for following orders without question. And that's pretty much the opposite of you.” He paused as he consulted a map. “Here... let's pull over and get ready to set up a distraction.” -The Citadel- Rica's Bar “...I know fully well what the Sith are capable of. It was one of them who killed Levina,” Samuel said, frowning as he glared downwards. “But don't worry, the reason I want them won't effect you. It's nothing about power or wealth...” The Sith were obsessed with immortality... Samuel sought something.. close to that... Galv's Workshop Galv blushed a bit brighter, but smiled as he nodded, pointing towards a cot in the corner. “It's... not much though...” He felt a little embarrassed now. Kanna's Apartment Ethan smiled at Kanna, holding Solanna carefully as he looked at the baby. “Well if you want more kids of your own, when we have some alone time...” He smiled again. “And besides, I wouldn't mind being a grandfather. I'm sure Chloe will eventually have one with that Edda guy when they stop beating around the bush.” |

[Lothal] [Temple Tunnels] The group walked on in silence and darkness for a few minutes more, as the tunnel made a sharp upwards turn. The path became increasingly cramped, and steep, until it finally came to a smaller part of the cave – and a door. It was clear that the stone door had been built right into the side of the cave, and from the numerous cobwebs and thick dust coating it, no one had used it in a very long time. That at least gave Musashi some hope that the Empire never found it. “Okay... Hammah, you're up. I'm guessing a door at a Jedi Temple needs a force-user to activate it...” [Restaurant] Connor was silent too, for most of the meal. He felt like he should say something, but none of the things in his mind sounded 'right'. Since meeting Sarai the previous day he had been shot at, gone AWOL and saw his sister return to a life of crime she'd swore to leave behind. It was all very emotional, and he'd intentionally been trying not to think about any of it. He was terrified that if he stopped and allowed himself to really think about how bad this all was, he might break down – and from what he could tell, Sarai was already nervous about... well, it seemed like everything. He didn't want to add to that more than he already had. When she spoke up, he laughed a little. “Believe it or not, this is the first time.” He paused, a strange feeling running down his spine. Apprehension – but not directed at Sarai. It was as if... some dangerous predator had just entered the room. [The Citadel] [Rica's Bar] Rica wasn't convinced, but he decided not to press the issue. Samuel had been half-hinged since Levina's death, and poking at that open wound would only lead to bad times. “Well, as soon as I'm the new Shadow Broker, I'll be able to help.” Rica said bluntly. “First, though, I need to arrange a meeting with my 'boss'... and for that I need Kanna. Once we eliminate the current Broker and I have access to his files, finding Sith Holocrons shouldn't be a problem.” He knew the Broker dealt in them – selling them to someone in the Empire. |

[Omega] -Mordin's Infirmary- Lavo cringed at the thought of the Afterlife club. It was loud, it was crowded, and it was visually overwhelming. He didn't think he could see so many colors until even stepping foot into that club earlier. Windsong looked to her brother. “I can talk to him alone if you need to steer clear of the noise.” He shook his head. “No. I...don't trust him alone with you,” mumbled. “I have to go with you.” The younger sister sighed. She wasn't vulnerable or anything like that, and she knew her brother would probably collapse if he was in Afterlife for too long. But he was stubborn. She couldn't change his mind. She finally turned to Shadow. “Yes, let's go looking.” |
