[Citadel] -The Cold Iron- Following the lights Kay was able to find a room that she could safely assume wasn't being used. She laid her stuff on the floor and stretched her arms above her head while arching her back. “I could get used to this.” [Omega] -Food Court- Lavo looked to his sister. She was calming down, but still looked angry. He shook his head, knowing she wasn't going to talk. “We want to apologize,” he started. “We were following orders. We both knew before we got here that we were searching for...I don't know how to put it.” “We wanted to leave the Empire since we were kids,” Windsong confessed. Her grumpy expression had calmed, but her tone was still harsh although it was quiet. “I think they know that. I think they wanted to show us what happens to soldiers who escape.” Lavo nodded firmly. “We...don't plan on re-boarding the ship. We want to go home.” |

-Citadel- “But that's not gonna happen for a while! Anyways, ummm... Melanie... do... you wanna go for... dinner, or something, later?” Melanie blinked as Galv asked her to dinner. She felt her cheeks warm, and she also felt her brother fuming behind her. "Dinner....Like a date?" Jason couldn't help but to groan. "Oh nooooooooooo you don't. Mel, you shouldn't be dating your co-workers" "There's no rule against it" Melanie countered "There are plenty of people in the military who are married-" "Now we're talking about marriage?!" Jason exclaimed. Melanie jumped a bit, rubbing the back of her neck. "Ah! No! All I meant was I should be allowed to get dinner with Galv-" she turned to the young man "I would love to by the way." -Flashback- “I don't think your dad will take it that badly. But why don't we talk about it somewhere a little nicer? There's this little hole in the wall not far from here, serves some good burgers. We could get something to eat, and you're welcome to crash at my place for a couple days. I'm heading out on a mission in a couple days, though...” Chloe gave a small nod, following Edda towards the diner. She was quiet for a few moments, trying not to obviously stare at Edda for more than a second. As they walked though, curiosity got the better of her. "Does that mission you're heading out on have anything to do with the thugs you were just beating down?" she asked, brow raised. |

-The Citadel- The Cold Iron “Not too bad,” Jimi said, looking around the room, and checking out the room next to the one Kay had picked. “All about the same size it looks like.” He put his stuff away, then found the room next to his to put Hammah's stuff in, then returned to where Kay was. “Are you sure about going along? I know you said you'd come with us, but these are a bunch of strangers...” Jimi said. He knew Hammah was pretty trusting, but he was more suspicious. Streets Galv smiled at Melanie, glad she said yes, then looked over at Jason. “It's only against regulations if we were in each other's chain of command... but that also doesn't matter, I'm a civilian contractor. I work for the Alliance military, but I'm not actually part of it. So there's nothing improper there,” Galv said. Docks “Hey, we're at the Citadel!” Maize said, as Damion's ship came into the docks. Lily sighed, pulling out her phone, looking at a number... She'd need to call him sooner or later... -Omega- Food Court Shadow frowned, clearly looking like he wasn't believing them, but was pushed aside as Omega strode forward. “Then you are comrades in arms!” Omega declared, “Apologies for our earlier bout of forces, but if you are leaving the Empire as well, we share a common goal!” -Flashback- Edda paused, looking towards Chloe. “It... might,” Edda said after a long moment. “It's something important. Something to do with some family. I can't tell you much. I know you can handle yourself but... I just can't tell you, sorry...” |

[Citadel] -The Cold Iron- “Where would I go if I didn't want to come anyway?” Kay answered with a question. She sat on her temporary bed and smiled. “I'm with you on this until the end, no matter what.” [Omega] -Food Court- “I'm glad we were able to settle this, then,” Lavo stated. He was about to take a seat a space away, but saw that his sister was adamant about not being too close to Shadow. He sighed and sat next to the hedgehog instead, so Windsong would have a barrier. “I...ask you forgive my sister,” he said quietly. “While in our training it was considered dishonorable to be unable to fly, even by wound earned in battle.” As a kid he never quite understood that mindset. It wasn't until he got into his first fight that he knew why. The Empire wanted a mobile air force that had little risk of crashing when getting close to ground forces. Having flight taken from the draiken army made them only as useful as the numberless foot-soldiers, but now with big, useless targets literally on their backs. As Windsong began ordering food, Lavo stared at the table in thought. He knew he suffered from some shell-shock, especially when reminded that he was taken from home. But his sister...she didn't remember her mother. She didn't remember her home planet. She was far too young. The Empire was her childhood, and being taken from it was going to make her realize it was much worse than she believed, and it was going to mess her up. “Okay,” Windsong said to the guy behind the counter. “What do you have that has a lot of meat in it?” Edited by Knucxsonia, Jun 26 2017, 07:58 AM.

-The Citadel- Streets "See Galv knows the rules!" Melanie said triumphantly, knowing Jason really didn't have a leg to stand on in the argument. Like she expecte Jason groaned, looking away from the two in defeat. "Finnnnnne-" she then glared back at Galv. "But if you even look at her the wrong way, I will end you. You may just be a contractor but i'm an officer, and have a LOT of guys under me would would be more than happy to break the legs of some scrawny red head to get on my good side-" "Jason!" Melanie exclaimed, looking back at Galv "Don't take him seriously" "Yes take me seriously. VERY seriously" Melanie groaned, the group coming up on the base once again. It looked like things had calmed down, though there were still a few officers lingering around. The young woman grabbed Galv's arm, pulling him away from Jason. "We'll meet back with you later Jason, gonna go check if my room is alright-" "Wait what!? Don't take him in your room Mel!" Luckily Melanie was quick, already pulling him away. -Flashback- “It's something important. Something to do with some family. I can't tell you much. I know you can handle yourself but... I just can't tell you, sorry...” Chloe watched Edda's expression and hardened her own. He didn't trust her. It had to be it. 'I mean it's understandable...It's been two years since i've seen the guy! Sure he doesn't just trust some girl he used to spar with at the dojo' But then a tinge of annoyance. And that tinge quickly turned to anger. "Well f*ck if I care" Chloe exclaimed, obviously in a bad mood suddenly. "You don't have to trust me with nothin', but next time don't let some thug almost knock you on your ass. Then I won't have to get involved with your secret sh*t." |

Citadel: Docks Damion took control of the ship once again, as it approached the docks, to make sure they landed in a clear space instead of just on top of another ship. That probably wouldn't have been appreciated, especially since the ship that he ended up parking next to instead of on top of, seemed to be a bit customized from some of the more 'standard' looking spaceships that Damion knew about. Plus, the short blue haired lady that was approaching that other ship kind of looked like someone Damion didn't really want to piss off. Citadel: The Cold Iron As another ship landed in the docking space near the Cold Iron ship, Shiori looked over to it for a moment, but soon returned her attention to the ship in front of her, approaching what appeared to be the entry to the ship. She seemed to be carrying along behind her some extra supplies in a container. She wasn't very pleased that Musashi was going along on this trip, but if he was, she was going to follow along with, and she wanted to make sure she had her own gear as well. So Shiori then knocked on the door, awaiting being allowed in. Citadel: Shoppe It seemed as though Paul and Kagura's expedition had proved fruitful, both figuratively and literally, as Solei was able to pick up some fresh fruit finally. She thanked (Kagura/Paul? don't remember which) for offering to pay, and nodded to Paul after his request to check out the money which Solei had on her. "Perhaps I should have expected the monetary system to be different in this age... Though I am surprised that coins are completely obsolete..." she spoke, before taking a bite out of one of the fruits bought. "...this is very good. Thank you for the recommendation." |

The Crazy One

[Citadel: Rica's Car] "What makes you think he'll want me?" Now Rica's smirk returned in full force. He leaned back into his seat, staring at her for a moment. “The Shadow Broker works in secret. Never meets with anyone. Leaves most of the business up to his trusted lieutenants... and that includes hiring decisions. Basically that means it's my decision who gets hired for this job... and you know I always want you.” In a strictly professional sense I'm sure. “Though if you distinguish yourself, you'll move up. Who knows, maybe you'll even get to meet the boss in person...” [Citadel: Coffee Shop --> Citadel Streets] Soon, Moira, Connor and Sarai would be out of the coffee shop and onto the street. Moira quickly rushed the two others towards her car – a rather beat up older model, and quickly put both her's and Connor's belongings in the back. Connor opened the door for Sarai, and then cast a glance at Moira. She was looking around the street nervously – and Connor frowned. Obviously his sister was worried that someone might be watching for them. [Citadel: Shoppe] As Solei enjoyed her Meiloorun fruit, Kagura simply put her hands behind her head and following beside Solei and Paul. She didn't get a chance to meet many people, although now she had found herself with a real pair of strangers – although she supposed that she was pretty far from normal too. “Well, coins aren't completely obsolete. Just around here in the Alliance systems.” Kagura explained. “You go out to places not tied into Alliance or Imperial economy and there's all kinds of weird-ass money. Lots of places just use a barter system... which can be pretty annoying when they owe you big time for a bounty!” She seemed to be speaking from experience. “Anyway, we should head back. I don't want this Edda character zooming off and not paying me.” [Citadel: Docks] Musashi shrugged to Hammah, and looked ready to say more when he heard the knock – and then, ignoring the fact this wasn't his ship, he quickly pressed the button to slide open the door and smirked to Shiori. “You know, you could at least pretend to smile.” Musashi sighed upon seeing the serious expression on her face. “This is going to be a fun trip! Plus it's a favor for Edda, and while I don't know the guy well myself, Chloe seems to like him and she's saved my butt almost as much as you so it's only fair I help.” He paused for a moment, his smirk slowly fading as a ship landed in the next spot over. He suddenly had a terrible feeling as he stared at that ship, and he shivered a bit. “Come on, Shiori, let's get inside.” Musashi grabbed her hand and quickly pulled Shiori into The Cold Iron. […] Aboard Damion's Ship, Haruka had been sprawled out on the same chair she'd taken at the start of the journey. She was leaning over the arm of the chair, with her legs dangling off the opposite arm. She yawned loudly as they landed and she rubbed her eyes. “Fiiiiiiiiinally! Space travel is always so boring when there's no one trying to kill you, and you're not trying to kill anyone.” Haruka's second yawn was cut short for a moment as she felt... something. She couldn't quite be sure what, but for some reason she had a feeling that something annoying was closer than she'd like it to be. [Omega: Docks] Vegeta suddenly looked irritated – more than usual. His eyes narrowed. “... All I know is we were told to get you. So sit down, shut your trap, and don't bother me.” Working for the Empire rubbed him the wrong way. He despised being reduced to a stooge of some great Empire – but even the Saiyans had fallen before the Empire. |

-The Citadel- The Cold Iron Jimi smiled, nodding to Kay. “I still appreciate you coming along... I mean it. When this is over and we find out about my dad... we'll go somewhere you wanna go, okay? Anywhere at all!” Hammah nodded to Shiori as she entered, then paused as he got a terrible feeling like he needed to make sure he still had both arms. Shoppe Paul shook his head towards Kagura, typing at his wrist again. -“Edda won't leave without us.”- He paused as he got a message now, reading it over and displaying it for Kagura and Solei to read. “We're about ready to take off, get back here!” the message read, signed from Sol. Damion's Ship Maize leaned forward too, an odd look on her face, but seemed almost... eager... “Hmmm... I feel... someone kind of like me...” Maize said, mostly to herself. Lily looked over towards Haruka and Sayuri. “Well, we're here. Sayuri, what do you wanna do?” Sayuri paused in thought. “Well I wanna still go with you two, I think!” Lily nodded, “Okay... we'll need somewhere to stay. I can call someone for that...” Lily sighed, dialing her brother... Melanie's Room Galv found himself being pulled away with Melanie, not having any issues with that at all, when his communicator let out a noise. He fumbled for it to turn it off, but froze when he saw who it was from. “...Lily?!” Galv said, answering it. -Omega- Food Court “There is no need, for we were enemies, but now we are comrades!” Omega said jovially to Lavo, appearing to take a sip from his cup. Shadow just scowled and looked back at his food. The guy behind the counter, a large, four armed, red skin tetramand “It's all gots a lot of meat in it,” the alien said blankly. “Just order somethin'.” Tetramands weren't known for subtlety in anything they did. Docks Bulma frowned, knowing she had no chance of fighting these Saiyans, even if she could get her hands on a weapon... “Well... if someone is trying to kidnap me, they probably want money! How much are they paying you? I can double it!” Bulma said. Flashback Edda frowned, looking worried now, shaking his head. “No... it's... ugh...” Edda said, shaking his head. “It's... about getting in and out of the Empire...” |

-The Citadel- Melanie's Room “...Lily?!” Melanie couldn't help but to raise a brow, looking over at his phone curiously. "Who's Lily?" She hoped that didn't come out as jealous as it sounded in her head. She only just met this guy after all. Rica's Car Kanna couldn't help to give a small laugh at Rica's obvious bias for her. "Well I guess I should count myself lucky i'm so irresistable." “Though if you distinguish yourself, you'll move up. Who knows, maybe you'll even get to meet the boss in person...” "So how many times have you met him then?" She asked. Citadel Streets Sarai quickly slipped into the car, trying not to seem noticeable to anyone would would be hanging around outside. Once inside she gave a little breath, peering outside the window. When Connor and Moira joined her she decided to speak again. "My father knows people...Ummmm snipers. Just so you know- but they don't know your car so we should be okay...." Emphasis on should be. -Flashback- Chloe frowned, eyes still n the man, knowing he probably wasn't telling her for her own good, but pissed off about it none-the-less. After a few moments she did calm down though, forcing herself to think of all the times her father had helped her control her temper. “It's... about getting in and out of the Empire...” "What the hell did you get yourself into- you know what. I'll drop it. I've been gone for two years and you don't owe me any explanation of your life." |

[Citadel] -The Cold Iron- “Anywhere, huh?” Kay said with a grin. “I'll have to get back to ya on that.” [Omega] -Food Court- While Windsong ordered some food, Lavo tried not to think too much on how a robot was drinking. “So, uh, why did you guys leave the Empire?” he asked. It felt like a stupid question, really. The Empire is evil and therefore those who have even a shred of decency would leave. What he supposed he wanted was to know what exactly gave them the last straw. What gave them that final push? Were they taken from their homes as well? |

[Citadel: Shoppe] “So you say!” Kagura crossed her arms. “But he's the sneaky type. Had to be, for him to even be alive with a bounty like that on his head.” She paused as the message came up about the ship being ready to leave. Kagura nodded, and then grabbed her things. “You heard the computer, let's go!” [Citadel: Damion's Ship] “Ugh. The Citadel. Whoopie.” Haruka rolled her eyes as he looked out the window of the ship lazily. She had been to the Citadel before – it was boring. Too many soldiers, too many rules, too many consequences for breaking the rules. It was one of her least favorite places around. At Lily's statement, Haruka suddenly grinned a bit. “Ohhh, do I finally get to meet your loser brother? I mean I just assume he's a loser. Brothers are in my experience.” [Citadel: Rica's Car] Rica's grin was so large and obnoxious at Kanna's latest question that it was clear he was trying very hard not to say too much. “Me? I've only met the Broker in person once... but it was a very productive meeting. Ever since I've been one of his top agents. I'll fill you in on the details another time.” [Citadel: Moira's Car] Moira groaned, as they all piled into her car and she took off, hovering down the narrow roads of the Citadel. She kept a close eye on the mirror, and drove carefully but also quickly. “Snipers?” Connor frowned. “Your dad sounds like bad news... um, no offense.” [Omega: Docks] “Hah!” Vegeta scoffed as he stared at Bulma. “Money? What do you take me for? I'm no common rabble.” He shook his head. “The Empire wants you for your knowledge of capsule corp tech. Apparently the old dingbat who runs Capsule Corp hasn't played ball with the Empire, so now they're doing things the exciting way.” |

-The Citadel- Melanie's Room “She's my sister...” Galv said to Melanie, then focused back on his phone. “I... yes, I am,” Galv said. “But that's not-” His face turned red, “I... she's... look, Lily, you wouldn't be calling if it wasn't important.” Galv frowned now, “I... okay... Are you at the Citadel?” “I'm not that far from the Docks. I can meet you there,” Galv said. “...See you soon.” He hung up after a moment, then looked towards Melanie. “That was my sister. My... twin sister. She needs some help, I gotta go see her,” Galv said to Melanie. “I'm sorry, I gotta go.” Damion's Ship Lily raised an eyebrow as she heard Galv's voice. “Are you with someone? Are you with a girl?” Lily asked. “Oh, is she cute?” Lily interrupted with a smile on her face. She sighed, then nodded. “Right.. look, I need a ship... The ship. It's important. Can we talk in person?” Lily nodded slightly. “Yah, we're docking now.” “Right... see you soon,” Lily said, hanging up now, then looking towards Haruka. “My brother will meet us at the docks here. So yah, you get to meet him. He's... not bad. Best engineer around, outside of grandpa, but I'll deny it if you tell him I said that.” The Cold Iron Jimi smiled, nodding to Kay. “Exactly! Keep a list, maybe we can go to multiple places too.” Shoppe Paul smiled, shaking his head as they headed back to the ship. He knew Edda all his life, the two were practically brothers. -Omega- Food Court Shadow froze at the question, remembering... a blonde haired girl, pleading to him... “...Someone important to me made me realize I shouldn't help the Empire,” Shadow said simply, refusing to go into further detail. “The Empire simply wanted to use me as a guard!” Omega said, “For Shadow here. They did not realize my full potential! So I teamed up with Comrade Shadow here, and we broke free to find our own path!” Docks Bulma sighed. So much for that... But there had to be something she could use. If they were Saiyans... and if Goku was a Saiyan... “Well... I know some great places to eat!” Bulma offered, “Especially back in Alliance space, better then anything the Empire sells! Bring me home and I'll make sure you both get the best meals ever!” Nappa's stomach did just to growl at this time. |

[Citadel] -The Cold Iron- Kay gave a wink and a finger-gun. “Can do. That would be an adventure on its own, wouldn't it?” [Omega] -Food Court- Soon enough, the draikens' food had been placed in front of them. Lavo got whatever Windsong had ordered for him, which ended up being the same thing she got. He was thankful he could trust his sister with that sort of thing. He looked over to his sister. She was visibly calmer now that she was stuffing her face. Lavo turned again to Shadow and Omega. “I'm glad you were able to get away.” |

Citadel: Shoppe "That does make sense, at least. That which people value does differ between different areas of the galaxy. Figuring out what other people may find valuable that others do not can be difficult, however," Solei responded to Kagura, before nodding to her about returning. "He does not feel like an untrustworthy guy, but perhaps it would be best not to try and test that." Citadel: Docks "It would be more fun if it was not flying into empire territory," Shiori retorted, before she was pulled into the ship. She noticed him staring at the ship that had just landed, though she herself didn't recognize it at all. It was enough to put her on her guard, however, Musashi's reaction to it, though she also blushed slightly from being pulled along by him. ============= "Just so you guys know, I WOULD prefer if you all are going to get into that sort of thing," Damion begun, after Haruka commented about 'boring space travel', "that you try not to bring whatever people trying to kill you back to my ship. Please?" He then looked to Maize, as she seemed to become eager for some reason. "...and that includes not throwing people through my ship, Maize," he then added, before giving a little laugh. Citadel: Kaiju Corp Offices ",,,so... You want to go to your ship, and then hope that guy in the police box just shows back up once we're done? Or should we leave a note to tell them to hurry up with their time machine and get back now instead of later?" Marco was still trying to wrap his head around everything. It was always interesting with Nanami, to see what she 'brought home with her' to do, but usually what was going on made a little more sense than dealing with time travelers. "...or just tell them where we're going with the note, I guess," he then removed his hat to scratch his head, with a sigh. |

Kanna said with a smirk, taking a breath and giving a nod. "Fine, i'm in. What's the worst that can happen?" With Rica? Literally everything.
