[Citadel: Coffee Shop] Connor listened quietly as he stemmed the flow of blood, and then slowly resealed her skin where the knife had broken it. Once he finally finished, he let go of her arm and grabbed one of the aprons hanging from the wall to wipe the blood away from his hands. He felt like he should say something, but he couldn't think of anything to say to Kalyan that wouldn't be painfully awkward, so he just shuffled silently beside Sarai. Moira, meanwhile, disappeared upstairs. She felt fairly certain this Kalyan wasn't going to try to kill anyone. They would have to leave and that meant her getting ready quick. [Citadel: Shop] Kagura led Paul and Solei into the shop, grinning a bit and finally letting loose of her grip on Solei's arm once they were inside. The shop was... unusual. Several large crates were stacked along the walls, all open and all with a variety of odd goods in them. A few in the front had large, unusual fruits. [Citadel: Melanie's Apartment] “I've been working for the Shadow Broker.” Rica blatantly stated to Kanna. He had no qualms about naming his boss. “I'm sure if you're interested, I can get you some kind of job. Though Jason's right, it's going to be dangerous.” He paused. “... Though, at the moment, aren't you looking for Melanie?” |

[Citadel: Coffee Shop] Kaylan needed to get going so with a quick, but tight, hub the man left Sarai in the protection of two total strangers. He was worried for her, but he was also very worried for himself when he told Genius that he wasn't able to find the girl. When Kaylan was gone and her arm was fully healed Sarai bent down and took the small tracker in her hand. She inspected it for a moment, frowning deeply before crushing it in her fingers- just to be safe. She then turned to Connor. "T-Thank you. For letting me stay with you....And my arm" Sarai said softly, rubbing at the spot. She felt so weird- vulnerable now. The idea of someone nowing where she was at all times- even if it was her father- was unsettling. [Citadel: Melanie's Apartment] "Hey, a woman can multitask can't she?" Kanna stated, a slight smirk on her lips. "Fine then master spy, where is my daughter?" "I'm telling you it's not that serious!" Jason argued. "She's probably back at the base" |

Citadel: Docks "Oooooh flying something you appropriated right back to where you got it. Booooold strategy, let's see if it pays off for ya, Romeo!" Rosetta laughed as she returned into Edda's ship temporarily, in order to get out of the suit which she had borrowed. Citadel: Lower Wards Those words from Rosetta through Chloe's speakerphone call were just adding to the happy thoughts Shiori was having after hearing from Kanan about the location of this temple they had to go to. She was not very happy about bringing Musashi into Empire territory. "...This is why I rather you not have known about this, yet..." Bringing Musashi along into Empire space with a bunch of other talented people = no good. Going alone with a oft-drunk former-Jedi into Empire space without telling her boyfriend = A OK in Shiori's book. Citadel: Civilian Docks, Pt 2 -> A Little Shop Solei was a bit surprised by Kagura pulling her along, but still followed with little resistance. She noticed the strange fruit in the front of the shop, though, which she looked quizzically at. "Are these supposed to be good?" she then asked of her two companions, holding up one of the large fruit, pointing at it. Citadel: Marco's Office "Ahh yes, I guess we could go pick it up," Marco answered Nanami, "Especially since you wanted to get some stuff worked on, with it, we could probably park it in one of the company 'garages'. Though I don't think that if the time machine pal returns, we'll be able to park that in his police box, no matter how big that is inside..." Damion's Ship "No." Damion quickly and simply answered Haruka, as she asked for his 'eternal devotion', before looking to Maize to see if she had any reaction to that as well. "...have a bad experience with the Alliance, as well?" he soon questioned, however, as it sounded like Haruka and Lily were implying about something having happened there. |

[Citadel] -Shadow Broker's Office- Kay leaned against a wall and started playing with her hair as she thought. This guy was their only real lead to the Shadow Broker, and someone thought ahead to dispose of him. “There has to be something,” she murmured. “There might be video feed, but with the Shadow Broker involved I doubt anything would be left behind so easily.” She looked to Jimi. “What do we do now?” [Omega] -Mordin's Clinic- Lavo had so many questions for Mordin. What was a salarian doing on a planet that hadn't discovered space travel? Was he involved in the mass abduction of draiken youth? Before Lavo could even open his mouth, Mordin had asked his own question. “What are you two doing on Omega? Nothing good comes to Omega.” “We were on a mission,” Windsong answered. She looked to her now-healing wing grunted. “Mission or not, I'm going to punch that hedgehog's face in next time I see him.” “Don't go looking for trouble, Windy,” Lavo stated firmly. “We're not obligated to look for them anymore anyway.” The green draiken froze. He probably said more than he should have. |

[TARDIS] C grinned as the TARDIS lurched to a stop and as the Doc gave him a worded warning. He already expected something of the sort, which was exactly the reason he chose this particular location. "No sweat, Doc. I'm just here to either prove you've been stalking me throughout my entire life, or to prove your claim right. Now, let's see if this thing folds space AND time, eh?" And with a jerk of the door, he was out in a dash out of the door and into... An empty observation room. It was a fairly small space, set up much like a theater observation deck. The TARDIS phased in right in the corner of the room on the uppermost layer, revealing three rows of seats, each with varying levels of electronic equipment and digital panels and screens, set up like an upper viewing room in a theater, each row having clear visibility over the one in front of it, all three slanting down towards a massive glass screen, currently covered by metallic blinds. It was dark here, with only a small control light flashing in the upper corner on the opposite side of the room. C quickly dashed right to it as the fibers in his hair flashed, and he got to the center of the room right as the light in that corner room flashed red once. There was a moment of silence... And it flashed green and continued moving. C let out a sigh of relief, hopped onto the desk next to him and jumped to the bottom row of seats, landing in one of the chairs and bringing up a locked console. Within seconds, the console was no longer locked and he carefully slid a small dial, opening just a single one of the solid 'blinder' panels on the massive viewing glass, closed the console, and jumped to the opened panel. And stared in sheer disbelief. He was SURE that this was some sort of trick, some hoax. Time travel was not supposed to be possible at all. But before him was either solid proof that he had a very creepy stalker... Or that what he was seeing was the truth. Because down below, in the server room, he saw the familiar dark-lights and the muter setup used by his old teammate Decker to shut down incoming and outgoing signals, and watched the dark forms of what he KNEW was himself and his old team systematically shredding the server system without a single alarm. This was one of their best ops. One of the four operations which was never traced even partially, never pointed towards Uplink. It was a perfect job, and he got paid a substantial bonus back in the day for making this particular job a success. NO ONE knew about it except for the Invisible team of Uplink agents. And yet, here he was, watching himself do the job. "... How in the f..." With a quick look back up to the table, the console he had previously switched on was fired up remotely, and once again opened without pause, revealing the time. "January 15th... 3:21 AM..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Citadel Civilian Docks] It took Alita no time at all to go through the normal procedures of getting the ship under way. She was just moving docks, so there was no need for the majority of the pre-flight checks that were normally a requirement, and she didn't need to contact Citadel Security about actually getting out of here and providing proper documentation. She only needed to inform them of a dock change. So while she was strapping herself into the seat just in case some rogue decided her ship looked like a fine target, she opened a comm to the open security channel to get in touch with flight control. "Hello, this is Ward 2 station dock 7, ship ID NL dash five five four W. I am requesting dock change due to nearby dock system lockdown due to cleanup crew. Are any other docks open right now, or should I fly out into the lane queue?" |

[Citadel: Coffee Shop] “You're welcome.” Connor could feel his cheeks getting red now. He certainly hadn't expected his day to take a turn like this – but now he was stuck in the middle of some weird crime caper. It was too late to back down now. He was determined to help Sarai... “... So what now?” Moira broke the quiet. She stared at Connor and Sarai. “I don't suppose either of you have any idea where to go?” Connor frowned. He had acted purely on instinct, and now... he truly had no idea. “I... I don't...” Moira sighed. “Yeah, I figured. Connor, you know this is the exact kind of sh*t I always tried to keep you away from?” “I-” Connor started to protest, but Moira shook her head. “Forget it. Anyway, get packed. We're going to have to get out of here...” [Citadel: Melanie's Apartment] Rica grabbed a com-unit from out of his jacket and quickly placed a secured call to someone. “It's me. I need you to review security camera feeds from the Citadel for the last hour. I'm sending over a picture of a young woman, I need you to find her, tell me where she is now. This is hush-hush.” Rica switched off the device, and then turned to Kanna. “I'll know soon enough.” [Citadel: Dockside Shop] “Meiloorun Fruits! You can find them on lots of planets. They're alright. Not my favorite or anything, but they taste pretty good.” Kagura explained. [Citadel: Marco's Office] Nanami was having a very difficult time focusing on anything besides the strange time traveler who had up and disappeared, leaving her with a billion questions. She swore quietly to herself before returning her thoughts and attention, at least partially, to Marco and the subject at hand. “Right... I need some repairs, and I need to see if we can get some better shields on the ship.” She frowned, recalling her nearly fatal run-in a few days ago. “I guess we may as well... but...” She frowned. She didn't like the idea of leaving. What if that time machine came back? “... I feel like I'm losing my mind.” [Citadel: Civilian Docks] “NL-554W, copy that. You can proceed to dock at Ward 2, station dock 9.” The traffic controller sounded stressed, obviously having a difficult time cleaning up in the wake of the... incident. [Damion's Ship] Haruka shrugged, having figured she couldn't count on random strangers to form her crew. It wasn't a big deal... at least she was away from Omega for a change. Then Damion pressed on the Alliance, and Haruka paused. She may have been morally questionable in her best moments, but Haruka would never reveal Lily's secrets. “Something like that.” Haruka commented cryptically. “But I'm sure you realize that a lady always has her secrets. So let's just leave it at that for now, alright?” [TARDIS] The Doctor slowly followed C out into the room, his hands in his pockets as he walked. He was quiet and somber – his enthusiasm replaced by contemplation. “I'm a Time Lord. Last of a race who did the impossible and learned to traverse time and space. This is very real...” He paused, keeping his voice calm and quiet. “... There are rules to it, though. You can't change the past. Not in major ways. Believe me... trying to rewrite time is dangerous. There's always a price. One you can't pay. So please, C, don't try to change anything.” The Doctor still wondered when he'd pay the price... |

[Citadel: Coffee Shop] Sarai didn't have anything to pack, unless she wanted to go home she now only owned the oversized uniform on her back, so instead she followed Connor to gather his things, the girl watching him intently while she once again sat on his bed. "You're sister doesn't like me does she?" she asked, knees pulled up to her chest as she hugged her legs. "I mean I kinda am ruining your lives with no warning whatsoever. She has every right to..." [Citadel: Melanie's Apartment] "That can't be illegal" Jason noted as Rica spoke. It was obvious from the smirk on Kanna's lips that she didn't much care about legalities, and instead rewarded Rica's efforts with a kiss. From his spot Jason gagged. "AUGH, gross" From her spot Kanna looked back at her son "Oh shut it, you're an adult" Jason gagged again, probably being a bit overdramatic. "Still doesn't mean I wanna watch you kiss. Imagine how many gross women he's been around. What do you think he does when you're not around?" |

[Miriam Industries Building, 3 years ago] C just watched for a moment, monitoring his own progress, still not quite sure if he wanted to believe what he was seeing. From here, he could notice all sorts of things, like how some of the systems tried to relaunch but failed due to interference, how Decker sometimes leaned away from the group to keep a careful eye out... "... Jeez, doc. How is it that you, with that dinky machine of yours, stick to the rules? That is one hell of a temptation. I can guess at the consequences, yeah, but I don't know if I myself could say no come crunch time and I'm suddenly stuck with something I didn't want happen." He let out a sigh, sitting down on the metal railing, still looking outside quietly. "I get it though. I don't think I'd want to change many things that happened either, cause they made ME, you know? Still..." He stretched suddenly. "So. How is it that you don't rule the universe yet, oh time-traveling man of profession?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Citadel Civilian Docks] "Roger that, Citadel Control. Moving dock to Ward 2, Station 9. Hope you get some time off in Flux, you sound like you need it. NL-554W out." With that comment, Alita detached from the docking bay and let the Wraith drift a little away from the dock itself before firing up its engines and moving over two dock spaces, and went to glide into the dock and set up. Just as the docking clamp grabbed hold of her ship, her communicator buzzed, and a rather maniacally grinning face of a familiar eyepatched man appeared in the air before her. "Heeey!" Alita huffed in annoyance. Why couldn't it be someone else. "... Hello, Sechs." "Oh, don't be like that! I got something for ya, from the professor. Passing along the message that he wants you to stay on-Citadel for the time being. He wants you to find someone. An agent for the Shadow Broker." Alita blinked in surprise, her eyes narrowing for just a moment. Shadow Broker was a bad name to be saying freely, and to think that the professor wanted something to do with him... "Why?" The face on the other side of the screen got serious, losing its maniacal grin and gaining a surprising amount of focus. "You're going to do a bit of info exchange on-site. No need to have the Broker himself, just his agent will do. You're going to give him a little encrypted file you'll find in the batch that's being transmitted directly to your personal systems. You'll use that to trade for a specific piece of information: The current access code to C-Sec Central Records. Once you get that code, you're going to send it back, and Nova will send out our newest littlest sibling to do some ground work on the Citadel. Something about a name has him too interested to ignore." Alita's mind was spinning in circles. This was too specific for the professor to simply request, this was huge. And the information he had on hand, to trade for something like that... Was probably just as ridiculous. She nodded just as her personal PDA beeped in completion of a download task. "... Got the file. I'll make sure it gets to where it needs to go. Anything... Else the professor told you?" Sechs suddenly grinned. "Yeah. He said this: 'Prepare for fun!'. I am guessing things are about to pick up, dear sister. DON'T. Drop the ball." And his face disappeared from the screen, leaving a very contemplative Alita to exit her ship absently, lock it down, and head deeper into the Cidatel... |

-The Citadel- Lower Wards “I know of a couple good places we could go,” Edda said, appearing where the others were, grinning towards Chloe, nodding to the rest, looking them over. “You're Musashi, I believe we've met briefly before,” Edda said, pointing towards Musashi, “But I don't think I've met the rest of you.” Hawkins' Ship “I don't really know...” Galv said, sighing softly. He paused, then looked up towards Melanie, giving her a smile and moved over towards her. “But it's not all bad! My sister and I mostly get along,” though this due partly to the fact they only talked occasionally, “And my grandfather is a really nice guy. I probably wouldn't be the engineer I am today if it wasn't for him.” Dock Shop Paul nodded, typing at his wrist before a message floated up. “-They're pretty hardy, so they grow on lots of planets.-” Paul poked around the shop, shifting through a couple things to see what he could find. Shadow Broker's Office “The records of the past half hour have been completely wiped, unfortunately!” Eddie said, “But good news, I believe I got some information on Master Guillory! I have also set up a call to go to C-Sec, and covered our own tracks.” Jimi nodded, glancing towards Kay, “Let's go then, we'll follow the lead Eddie found and see where it goes, then contact Hammah.” -Damion's Ship- “Something like that...” Lily said, shaking her head, while Maize looked over. “You do know that most of the Saiyans got wiped out because they wouldn't listen to the Emperor unconditionally, right?” Maize said with a smirk. “If you can prove to be a good ally, for most surviving Saiyans, it tends to mean you have an ally for life, but we don't do well with orders.” -Omega- Mordin's Clinic “Mmmm, you met Shadow, I suppose?” Mordin asked almost casually. “Decent fellow, a little too... serious. Heart in right place though.” He didn't seem disturbed that they were apparently on a mission to find him. Docks “So where do you wanna start looking, Vegeta? We could go get somethin' to eat, I'm pretty hungry after that trip! That food they pack in the pods is suppose to be filling but I always want more...” Nappa asked. -T.A.R.D.I.S.- Jenny stayed aboard the ship, though leaned against the doorway, listening to The Doctor and C. She knew time travel was a risky thing. -Flashback- “Yes, we do. We'll get you something to eat at the hotel though,” Ethan said, getting to said hotel and heading up to his room. Once there he put Chloe down on the edge of the bed, then placed his own stuff down. He paused for a moment, looking over at Chloe. “What made you want to run away?” Ethan asked. |

[Citadel] -Shadow Broker's Office- “Right,” Kay said with a subtle smile. “Surely no matter how small it is, Hammah would love to know.” She turned to Eddie. “What is it you found?” [Omega] -Mordin's Clinic- Windsong grimaced. “I wouldn't use the word 'met',” she grumbled, sliding off the medical table and onto her feet. Lavo shook his head. “We have met him,” he said to Mordin. “The Empire is looking for him and his robot companion.” Won't be long before they start looking for us too, Lavo thought. “The Empire won't have time to find him if I do first,” the younger draiken growled. |

[The Citadel: Lower Wards] “I know of a couple good places we could go,” Chloe turned as she hear Edda's voice, the woman trying not to show her excitement that Edda was here. She couldn't help but to grin, wandering over to him with her hands on her hips. "Long time no see, was starting to think you went and got yourself blown up or something" she said, looking up at the man. [The Citadel: Hawkins' Ship] Melanie gave a little sigh, just happy that she hadn't totally plunged the conversation off a bridge. She was glad Galv had some good people in his life- she really could relate with the bad. "Okay, no more of me ruining what is probably the last free moments alone before my mom or the military comes for me." She declared, moving in against Galv once more. "How long do you think we have before we have to go back to work?" -Flashback- Chloe was placed on the hotel bed and she fell back on the pillows with a soft thump. It was only when Ethan asked just why she had run away in the first place that she tensed back up. The little girl pulled herself back up, so that she was sitting and looked to the side. "I got in trouble at school...Again" She answered, nervously pressing back her wavy hair. "A kid in my class called me weird so I punched him in the face and I broke his tooth- I didn't mean to do it so hard but he was being a jerk...." Chloe trailed off, once again pulling at her hair. "Mom and Adriel were kinda really mad and Adriel likes to puff himself up real big like a puffer fish to try and make me scared but I wasn't annnnd I kicked him hard while he was yelling at me." It was starting to be clear that the nine-year-old had anger issues. Once again she tugged at her hair, flipping it up to display a chunk of it gone, chopped almost to her ear. "I'm not suppose to use my powers at home so he cut my hair. I look stupid now, and if I go back to school the boys are gonna tease me more so I decided to run away- at least until I can fix it! I even brought scissors with me!" |

-The Citadel- Halls As Jimi and Kay left, heading down the halls, Eddie floated next to them. “I found convincing evidence that Master Guillory boarded a ship headed to Omega,” Eddie responded. Jimi groaned, shaking his head. “Great... that's a big hub too, and a lot less guarded then here... Trying to pick up the trail there would be hard...” Lower Wards Edda grinned back at Chloe, pulling out a small capsule, handing it to Chloe. “Before I forgot, presents! Some new armor and weapons,” Edda grinned, tapping the armor he was wearing. “Same model as this, though I got your's in red.” He looked back over towards everyone else. “So you all need to get somewhere in the Empire?” Hawkins' Ship Galv paused, then smiled at Melanie. “Well... they'll probably keep it under lock down for the day, unless they caught that girl... So unless we get a notification we should have some time...” He moved forward and gave her a kiss. -Omega- Mordin's Clinic “Ah. Omega. Interesting robot. Wanted to fight my mechs outside to test self. Shadow convinced him not to,” Mordin said, looking towards the two. “Are you two still planning on working for Empire?” Afterlife Aria sighed, rubbing her forehead in annoyance. First the job against the Empire went bad... Apparently it had been some girl, and her agent did not acquire her after that girl Haruka decided to run with her. To make matters worse, the man who had tapped her for the job seemed to have disappeared completely, which made her even more annoyed. Now there was some blue haired girl ranting about needing access to part of Omega for some kind of mineral, and some mercs were in the way. “Ugh... Look, if you have trouble with the mercs, deal with them yourself,” Aria said. The blue haired woman frowned, glancing back to a short man dressed in blue and orange, who appeared to be sleeping while he was standing. “I warn you, my friend here is the strongest guy around!” Bulma declared. Aria looked over at the sleeping man, frowning. He almost looked like a Saiyan, but he didn't have the tail... Perhaps he was human. “Are you threatening me?” Aria asked coldly, a couple krogan showing up behind Bulma and Goku... -Flashback- Ethan listened carefully to Chloe's story, frowning. He didn't look angry, at least, not at Chloe. “Okay, I'll talk to your mother, but first...” He held up his hand, squaring himself, just in case. “I want you to punch my palm here as hard as you can. Don't hold back.” |

[The Citadel: Lower Wards] "Oh sweet! Presents!" Chloe exclaimed, accepting the gift with a wide grin. She then tackled the man in a hug, probably just about knocking him down without meaning to. "Thanks! Though i'm still pissed about the news about your ship! What the hell happened? I wanted that one when you were done with it- now it's probably in some scrap yard or something!" “So you all need to get somewhere in the Empire?” "A Jedi tower to be exact" She clarified, stepping back and looking to Kanan. -Flashback- Chloe watched Ethan's hands intently before her eyes went to his face, gauging if this was some sort of trap to get her into more trouble. While her mother and stepfather didn't know what to do about her superhuman strength Chloe was aware that her father could handle it .He was as strong as her- stronger even. Ethan was the toughest person she knew after all! Chloe drew back her hand, aiming square for his palm, before slamming down on it as hard as she could. At nine her strength rivaled a grown man, though it was nowhere near as developed as Ethan's. Edited by Crystal Rose, Apr 25 2017, 07:40 PM.

-The Citadel- Lower Wards Edda oofed, moving back slightly but managing to stay upright, though just barely. “I had to crash it into a Star Destroyer, sorry,” Edda said, “The Empire was nooooot happy about that.” -Flashback- Ethan oofed slightly, feeling the strength from Chloe, smiling. She was quite strong... “My power didn't manifest until I was a teenager,” Ethan said, “You got it a lot earlier on. But if you can't practice it at home, of course you wouldn't know how to control it.” He pulled out his phone, smiling at Chloe. “You know, your grandparents would like to see you again soon.” Ethan dialed Chloe's mother... |
