[Coffee Shop] Sarai watched the girl curiously as Connor introduced her as his sister. Well there definitely was a resemblance; the same hair, same face...She gave a tiny sigh, letting her guard down a bit more. “Fine, fine, but if you're going to be here you can at least wash some dishes. Lunch rush just ended.” Sarai blinked, but when Moira gave she and Connor puppy dog eyes. The girl nodded. "I-I can do them. I mean I know how, and I really owe you for helping me." |

-Imperial Ship- Jenny frowned as they saw the Stormtroopers, putting on her helmet. “I can lead them off. You all get back to the T.A.R.D.I.S., I'll find another way off the ship,” Jenny said, “I can steal a TIE fighter or something.” -Citadel- Melanie's Apartment “Errr, yah a motorcycle,” Galv said, smiling now as he saw Melanie's interest grow. “It was tough to drive at first but I got the hang of it. I built it, with my grandfather too, it's one hundred percent custom! Top speed is about 500 kilometers an hour. I can juice it past that but it gets pretty risky, and there's not many places I can risk going quite that fast.” He smiled a little brighter, thinking. “Maybe someday I could show it to you and give you a ride?” Lower Wards Hammah appeared right behind Kanan, running with him and not bothering to look back, knowing Jimi and Kay could take care of themselves, trusting them. Jimi paused, firing a couple random shots of energy from his hands, then fell back after the others, keeping himself between anyone and Kay. Alliance Military Base “He's dangerous Shepard, I say we take him out right now,” Garrus suggested, keeping his sites on the figure. He didn't fire though, this was Shepard's call. Docks “...Woah...” Edda said, still on top of his ship as the krogan exploded, his armor activating defenses to keep himself from being blinded. He got up, standing on his ship, holding his hands up towards C-Sec. “We're friendlies! Name's Edda Adwr,” Edda called out. “I have papers and everything.” Paul had not moved while the shots were being fired, a handful of them passing by extremely close to the young man, but none of them quite got in range. -Omega- Streets Buster whined as Lavo didn't quite pet her, Thundercracker watching carefully, only looking away when Windsong appeared. “Uhhh... not really, there's no places at Omega that really fit a Cybertronian like me. I do have a place by the docks I keep some supplies at, probably some room there for you two. Mostly just some energon and dog food for Buster.” Damion's Ship “Half saiyan, actually,” Maize answered Haruka. “Mom's a saiyan. Dad's a human who was stronger then her. I don't think he knows I exist, Mom kind of ran off after, well... making sure I was gonna come around.” She glanced towards Damion for a moment, then back to Haruka. “Saiyans are a bit more blunt about things then humans, and I was raised saiyan.” Another glance over to Damion now, “My Battle Pod is very comfortable! It has to be, it's made for long voyages.” “How long till we can make an FTL jump?” Lily asked now. |

[Citadel] -Lower Wards- Kay huffed, finally reaching the door and making it out of the now-aflame bar. Of course, just getting out is never really enough. Places like that tend to explode when they're enough on fire. She looked back, making sure Jimi was following. [Omega] -Streets- “Better than nothing,” Windsong replied. That was this entire situation in a nutshell, she thought. Better than nothing. In response to Buster's whimper, Lavo patted her head gently. “We will need to buy food if we're going to stay here for a while,” he said, standing up. “We should have enough credits to do that.” “I'd like a change of clothes,” Windsong commented. “I don't wanna stay here the entire time wearing this armor.” Lavo looked at his hands. The armor was meant to be intimidating. The helmets added more horns, the gloves made the claws look bigger, and the footgear had extra claws on them to make for better stabbing. It was one thing to attract attention for being a rare species to see in space, it was another to attract attention for being dressed like a stormtrooper. He grunted. “They're not going to have our kinds of clothes around here,” he told his sister. “These had to be custom-fitted, remember.” “I knooow,” Windsong whined. The drakens' anatomy was different than the shape of most other beings. While part of it is obvious because they have wings and tails, one other thing was a tad more subtle; their hips were much wider to make room for said tail. Pants just didn't fit. The clothes that draikens wore on their home planet were like long ponchos. They covered what they needed to without restricting the movement of the wings. Lavo crossed his arms. “We also need to get you to a doctor to see that wing.” |

[Imperial Ship] “No, no!” The Doctor was trying to keep a handle on the situation before everyone started off on their own bad ideas. He stepped in front of Jenny, making it clear he didn't want her attempting that, but his eyes were on C and Nanami. He could feel the anger radiating from Nanami's scowl at C over his latest 'babe' comment and he had a feeling this whole thing was becoming a powder keg. “There's no need for violence, we can figure somethi-” “Doctor. That is you, isn't it?” The Doctor froze. The voice had come from a speaker system installed in the hangar, and was being broadcast all across it. The Stormtroopers all looked a bit on edge when the voice sounded. For good reason. That voice belonged to the commander of this ship, and one of the most dangerous men in the Empire. “I'm sure you can hear me. You were always the resourceful one. Resourceful enough to stay off our radar for, what, twenty years? I thought you were dead, to be honest... but here you are. Different face, but that's not the first time it's changed.” The Doctor closed his eyes. This is what he had dreaded. What should have been a simple mission to check up on an old problem had blown up, and now he was known to the Empire. Now he would be a part of this war, whether he liked it or not. The Doctor turned to Jenny, pulling the helmet off her head and leaning close and whispering so only she would hear. “Listen to me. You need to get these two off this ship. I'll distract the troops – Tarkin will want me alive – you get them to the TARDIS, dematerialize and then rematerialize around me. If you can't... then just get them back to the Citadel.” Nanami, meanwhile, glanced at C. "I didn't do anything to those mercs back there. All I've got is a pair of pistols and a few explosives." [Damion's Ship] “I can respect bluntness.” Haruka replied, as she leaned back and glanced around the ship. “... I barely remember my parents. My dad was some bigshot with the corporations back in the day, but got himself killed when they turned into the Empire.” She didn't mention her mother, for good reason. Haruka had learned long ago that even bringing her up was trouble... the only person she'd ever confided in about her mother was Lily, and she trusted her not to tell anyone. [Citadel: Lower Wards] Soon enough, the group from inside the bar had made it down the road a little ways and into an alleyway. Like everywhere else in the lower wards, it was a shady place. There were a few people crawling around in the shadows, including a blue alien with three eyes, and a woman who looked like she was coming down from being intoxicated on something. Musashi looked around, and then smiled when he realized everyone was here and seemed to be safe. “Well that was a close one...” He glanced at Chloe, making sure she was okay, and then looked over to Shiori. “Should I even ask how you found me?” Meanwhile, Kanan approached Hammah, Jimi and Kay. “... You led the Shadow Broker straight to me, and I had to out myself as a Jedi. I should be pissed at you... but... if your father was a force-user, then I'll help you.” [Citadel: Civilian Docks] When Morr blew himself up, the C-Sec ship did stop firing – but the lights were still blaring and it quickly landed next to the blast radius that had once been an angry Krogan and the C-Sec officers jumped out and started setting up a perimeter. One of them approached the others with a glare. “I want to see everyone's IDs, and I want to know what the hell happened here!” [Citadel: Coffee Shop] Connor frowned. Moira was always like this, but he knew he shouldn't try to argue with her. She always won whenever he did. So he just turned to Sarai. “It's okay, I can do them. If you want to rest, my room's just upstairs. Just... don't run off, okay?” [Alliance Military Base] “... No.” Shepard shook her head. She didn't like the idea of keeping this mysterious assassin alive, but he was something else – and right now they needed answered. She approached and grabbed the lightsaber, taking it and tossing it away. Then she cuffed the fallen attacker. “We need answers, Garrus. Help me get this guy into interrogation.” Edited by GoldenSama, Mar 14 2017, 09:46 PM.

[Imperial Ship] C frowned in confusion, thinking back. It was all a bit blurry in his memory, he was acting purely on instinct back at the Citadel, but he was SURE the mercs had somehow come down with a case of headache. "Well, someone did SOMETHING, and it worked. Damn." That's when a voice popped up over comms, and The Doctor looked very much displeased at hearing it. C knew that face, he made it every time HE heard Tarkin and his damned announcements and video conferences. And he was absolutely as tired of it as the Doctor looked. But what to do about this was the question that kept coming back to him. What COULD he do? Unaware that The Doctor was leaning over to whisper plans into the other girl's ear, C focused on what he could see in the hangar. And he could see... A lot. Several TIE-fighters, several loader mechs, several... Wait. The Empire were a tricky, extremely resourceful lot, despite having some really dirty politics behind them. And this hangar was no different. It was full of equipment of all kinds, and while it also had a few fighter craft stationed, those wouldn't be nearly as useful as... The loader mechs. The loaders were a fairly simple thing, manned loader walkers for quick provisioning and protection during repair jobs. What was fairly unknown about them was that they ran fairly advanced systems, and were equipped with a remote control module in case a fighter's power core was going critical and the Empire didn't feel like losing extras and important deck-hands. In particular, this was a mech loader type specifically crafted for large ships equipped with VI base control, which allowed them to be slaved into the system and remotely operated without ever being manned in the first place. And as far as the young hacker could see, none of them were active or running at the moment. Which meant this was the perfect opportunity for some mischief. Because the loader mechs did not run on the same proprietary base-code system that the Imperial cruiser's primary system was composed of. Instead, it was a universal system created by Arctec, which could as easily plug into machinery operated by civilians and military. And C? He hacked into Arctec before, and he kept a copy of their base tables. For a moment, C just closed his eyes and thought. Really, he was having a bit of an internal conversation, but no one really needed to know outside that he was talking. Just as before, the optical wires within his hair began to light up in sequence... And suddenly, he had a very sneaky grin on his face. "... We need a distraction, right? And we just need to get into the box, right?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Citadel Civilian Docks] While the explosions and chaos certainly pushed most of the civilian crowd away from the area, the loud explosions were more a flame to a moth for a rare few and curious. With loud explosions, gunfire and generally dangerous stuff happening at the docks, the local C-Sec enforcement finally got to work on containing the situation and managing the damage. And they woke up one such moth. At the moment, a small, private craft was docked just two stations away from the encounter zone. This small craft, just a one-man fighter ship with only one pilot (specifically one of the older, decommissioned Terran Wraith craft, stripped of its stealth systems and equipped with aftermarket armaments) was rocked once when the final blast went off and finally woke up the pilot which was calmly napping inside. The napping woman opened a bleary eye, sat up slowly and stretched out like a cat, rubbing her eyes clear of sleep as she tried to get a sense of what it was that woke her up. She flicked a switch on the dashboard to bring down the blinds on the cockpit view... And paused. She rubbed her eyes again, as if trying to clear them of any spots and took a look again at what she was seeing... Blinked rapidly several times in puzzlement as she watched the docks being zoned off by C-Sec, and wondered to herself exactly what actually happened to incite this sort of response. So she slid her seat back and opened the cockpit of the fighter craft, standing up and watching from her slight height advantage as she beheld the massive hole in the dock walkway further up, scorch marks and a burning wreckage of what looked like the remains of a C-Sec patrol ship. Curiosity getting the better of her, she hopped onto the dock, closing the ship's cockpit behind her and watched the rushing bodies, trying to remain somewhat inconspicuous. She and her ship were within the zone of control that C-Sec were trying to set up, and she didn't know what reaction they would have if she tried approaching directly... [Citadel: Coffee Shop] Sarai gave a small nod and a poliet "Thank you" to both Connor and his sister before rushing upstairs to Connor's room. It wasn't too hard to find, even after only knowing him for a few hours it looked like a place he had spent a lot of time in. Sarai carefully pulled off her shoes and walked in, looking around curiously. The room was orderly and small, but cozy...There were a few books and knick knacks scattered among the space as well. She traced her hands over a few odds and ends on his dresser before hesitating. She really didn't like the oversized uniform she was in....And she was also kinda nosy....Maybe just a peek. Sarai looked into the top drawer, quickly slamming it back shut with a blush on her face. Okay, maybe avoid rooting around in his underwear drawer....She decided not to press her luck with drawer number two and settled to the clothes she had on. With a small sigh she pulled off the jacket and uncomfortable button up (she still had an undershirt on lest Connor's head explode), folded them neatly and placed them by her shoes. She then fell back on Connor's bed, staring at his celing. She was in trouble. Real trouble. And she had pulled this guy into it too...And now his sister as well. She only hoped her family had no way of finding her... [Citadel: Lower Wards] Chloe brushed off Musashi's concern, but was still very interested in the sudden development of a pretty young lady that he knew just showing up at a seedy bar they were investigating. "Now that the shooting is done I want to know about this!" she exclaimed, motioning to Musashi and then to Shiori. "Surely there's a raunchy story of love, betrayal and sexy times and i'm ALL EARS!" Ummmm wasn't there a drunkard they should be questioning...And a JOB they were suposed to be helping with??? [Citadel: Melanie's Apartment] “Maybe someday I could show it to you and give you a ride?” Melanie's (like in every other universe) was relatively sheltered so the idea of riding on a guy's motorcycle was SUPER exciting. It also helped when said guy was attractive and really nice.... "Oh yes please!" she exclaimed, moving a bit closer as she nodded. "I don't think i've ever gone that fast in anything before!" Ironic, considering she's training to fly fighters. |

Citadel - Civilian Docks "Well then... THAT just happened," Rosetta commented on essentially blowing up Morr into nothing. "And good, at least I can hear myself talk still." She then proceeded to take inventory of all her appendages to check that they were still around, and not bleeding. Thankfully the armor that she was wearing was able to keep her relatively safe from what happened. Meanwhile with Solei, when the explosion happened, she was able to bring up some metal to cover her at least from the shrapnel, but with the battle that just happened, and all of her metal manipulation, she was completely worn out. With the shooting ending, though, Solei was able to rest, as most of the metal that she had used, seem to go back to the ground, reforming into the 'floor' of the Citadel, at least mostly as solidly as it had been previously. Though now C-Sec was there, and demanding ID's... "...oh boy, this is going to go over well." Rosetta sighed. Omega - Damion's Ship As Maize looked to him while talking about how she 'came to be', Damion simply nodded in approval of her attempt at subtlety. Though when she looked to him again as she defended her pod, Damion's own face scrunched slightly into a frown. "I'd get sooooo claustrophobic in that thing... There isn't even room to stretch out your legs and walk! As he was answering, however, Haruka started responding to Maize, ignoring what he was even saying (not that it was important, but still). Damion just sighed. "...FTL should be ready any second now..." And then eventually with what sounded like a microwave timer's bing, a green light appeared on the controls, and Damion pulled back on a lever to send the ship into hyperspace/FTL/plaid. Citadel: Lower Wards Shiori looked over to Musashi, as he asked her about how she found him. "We apparently have the same taste in men," she said in monotone, as she nodded over towards Kanan, before she reached up and removed the mask that had been covering her face... as well as her smile that was hidden as she had spoken that last line. Plus, she WAS happy to finally see Musashi in person again after so long. But then there was Chloe, and Shiori's smile soon faded into a blank expression. "...Did you ever tell her about me, Musashi?" she then said, with a slight accusatory look, now, as she looked up to Musashi's face now. Edited by Dark Phazon, Mar 15 2017, 10:21 PM.

Citadel: Lower Wards "...Did you ever tell her about me, Musashi?" Chloe shook her head, glaring playfully at her partner. "He did NOT! Musashi tries to act like some super cool lone ranger- who knew he had a long lost lover!" she then looked back to Shiori. "It's like you're trying to hide her- really weird too, considering you're so pretty- much too good for a dog like miho over there!" If you haven't noticed, Chloe was having WAY too much fun with this. |

[Imperial Ship] The Doctor paused when C brought up the distraction. Nanami was now looking at him too, and both seemed curious as to what the hacker had up his sleeve. “We get back to the TARDIS and we can get out of here.” The Doctor confirmed. “What are you thinking?” Nanami asked. [Citadel: Coffee Shop] “... So what's the story with the girl?” Connor sighed. He stood at the sink, washing a sink full of plates and cups, and he knew this question would come up. He had never brought a girl home before, so naturally that would catch Moira's attention. “She's in trouble. I'm trying to help her out.” “That's all?” Moira raised an eyebrow. “I just met her, Moira.” Connor sighed, knowing where she was going with this. “So I'm supposed to believe you didn't notice she was cute?” Connor groaned, suddenly wishing he was anywhere but this kitchen. “I think she's in trouble... and I can't just ignore that.” Moira sighed. “... Just don't get mixed up in anything too bad, okay? Go on. I'll finish the dishes.” Connor nodded, and then turned and headed up the stairs. “Sarai?” Connor poked his head into the room, and then slipped inside. He couldn't help but feel his cheeks grow a little redder at the sight of her on his bed. Moira's implications didn't help, but he quickly pushed all of that away. “How are you holding up?” [Citadel: Lower Wards] “You're after him?” Musashi glanced at Kanan. That would have confused him a lot more before he had learned that Kanan Jarrus was a Jedi – a living relic of the past. He frowned, wondering what Shiori was doing chasing Jedi... he couldn't help but wonder if it was related to the past. Before his mind could wander too far down that road, Chloe and Shiori's conversation had become a billion times more awkward and he groaned, suddenly wishing the fight was still going on. This hadn't been how he'd intended a meeting between these two to go. “Is it too late for me to get captured by the Turians?” He sighed aloud. “... Shiori Ishikawa, this is Chloe Sanchez. She and I were in the Alliance military together and... well, there was an incident and we got kicked out.” He paused, and then added: “Not that kind of incident, Shiori.” Clearing his throat, Musashi rubbed his neck. “... Shiori's my oldest friend. I've known her pretty much my whole life. Plus we're, you know. A thing.” [Citadel: Civilian Docks] “Ugh... that was some grade-A bullsheeze...” Kagura groaned as she stood back up and stretched out a bit. She frowned at the sight of C-Sec. She would have much rather been hanging out on the docks as a nerdy tourist, instead of wearing a suit of Mandalorian war armor. So much for the low-profile she had hoped to keep here. She quickly pressed a few buttons on her wrist-mounted device and produced a holographic license, suspended in mid-air above her hand. It was her bounty hunting license, and ID. As the C-Sec officers approached, they quickly moved towards Paul, Rosetta and Kagura and demanded IDs. They would be seeing everyone sooner or later. One of the officers noticed the woman standing by the old decommissioned Wraith and frowned, and he quickly approached. “You there! Did you see what happened? I need some ID.” [Damion's Ship] Now that the ship was cruising at Lightspeed, Haruka leaned back and closed her eyes. There was something comforting about Hyperspace. The actual jump involving traveling outside of space and time, taking dimensional corridors that existed beyond the dimension. By traversing through 'wrinkles' in the fabric of space, ships could traverse the galaxy in much shorter times. Of course, even a slight error in hyperspace jumps could cause a ship to end up billions of miles in the wrong direction – or slam into a star or black hole and be dead before they even realized what was happening. She didn't worry too much about it. “... So what is it you do, anyway?” She asked to Damion and Maize. “Bounty Hunters? Or just... some weird universal do-gooders?” |

[Citadel Civilian Docks] The girl blinked a few times in surprise, and then pouted in annoyance. She hated missing things, and apparently, she missed something big. She did have proper identification with her, thankfully, so when she was hailed by a C-Sec officer, she brought out a relatively old-school chipped ID card, handing it over to the agent when he approached. "Hello, officer! Sorry, but I really didn't see any of what happened. I was napping in my ship, and only woke up when something started moving it about. Had to have been something big, the little fella is still clamped into the docking clamps." Despite her open greeting, the tail behind her was twitching in curiosity. What DID happen here? What did she miss? And why was this guy looking like he was about to bite her head off at the slightest provocation. "So what's all the fuss about?" --------------------------------- [Imperial Ship] C's grin just widened. "Just watch and be amazed, babe." He gave the mental command. Really, he couldn't do any true hacking at the moment himself. He wasn't trained in the mental disciplines that allowed 'Jackers' to do what they did, creating code through simple mental exercise. He needed to think about what he was doing and needed to let his hands go on autopilot so he didn't have to think about every single thing he was coding. A lot of it was instinct to him by now, and it was hard to unlearn the way he'd done things before. But even if HE couldn't do any direct hacking in, that didn't mean that his partner couldn't. So when he did give that mental 'do it', there were several flashes from the optical wires in his braid, and five loader mechs on the dock suddenly began to move without any pilots or commands given to them. Completely autonomously, they started up, and two of them immediately switched to blowtorches, removing safety nozzles and setting output beyond tolerance levels, immediately reconfiguring their repair blowtorches into something more akin to flamethrowers. Then, these mechs swung around to nearby Storm Troopers, and bathed them in flame. The fourth loader mech, which was onyl equipped with heavy loading gear and no repair suite, instead went to grab at a storm trooper with its large claw arm. And the last one... The last one, also not equipped with a repair suite, instead drove past two storm troopers, picked up the TARDIS in its loader claws, and turned to where the Doctor, Jenny, C and Nanami were hiding, quickly driving in their direction with the door of the TARDIS towards them. C looked absolutely gleeful. "Come ooooon, come oooooon..." |

-Citadel- Lower Wards Jimi sighed as they managed to find a relatively safe spot, glancing over to everyone. “At least this new girl is friendly...” Jimi said, mostly to himself. He frowned, glancing over to Kanan. “If they were listening in on our conversation... they'll know Hammah is Force sensitive too...” Jimi said now, scowling. “I say we march up to that guy and demand our information then leave... And if he doesn't want to give it up...” Jimi punched a fist into his palm. “I'm sure we can find a more peaceful solution... Maybe we should call in Eddie?” Hammah suggested, then over to Kanan. “And while our father was Force sensitive... I don't think he was a Jedi. He wasn't a Sith either...” Docks Paul produced his own ID, remaining silent as he showed it. Edda appeared from the air lock now, marching towards C-Sec. “This is my ship, here's all the registration,” Edda said, producing his ID along with the proper papers. There were all legit, it seemed. It also showed that he had some security clearance... Military Base “Right,” Garrus said, putting his sniper rifle away and drawing his pistol. He moved forward and picked up the saber Shepard tossed, placing it away as well. “I'll cover you, should we call in security?” Garrus asked. Melanie's Apartment Galv blushed as Melanie got a little closer, smiling though. “Okay then! Sounds like a da... a plan!” He blushed a little brighter, glancing to the side before back towards Melanie. She was very attractive... -Omega- Streets “You organics and your clothes,” Thundercracker said, tapping his chin in thought. “I'm sure you could find someone to make some clothes for you? If you need some credits, I have some saved up you can have! I do odd jobs that's needed around here and I don't need a lot, just some for energon...” He paused again in thought, “As for your wing... there's a clinic not too far from here. Run by a salarian. Kind of crazy, but he's nice!” -Damion's Ship- “Basically,” Maize said to Haruka. “I worked as muscle for hire, and Damion was taking from this guy I was working for. Turned out that guy was a real sleezeball, so I helped him out, and I've been traveling around with him ever since! Plus, I gotta figure out his tricks, so I can beat him!” Maize had both the Saiyans appetite for competition, along with her human father's intellectual abilities, so she liked competing in both fighting, and in things that were more cerebral. “Sounds like fun,” Lily said, placing a hand on Haruka's shoulder and giving her a small squeeze. -Imperial Ship- Jenny nodded to her father, then paused as C started a distraction... “...I can meet the ship halfway,” Jenny said. She grabbed her helmet back and put it on, rushing towards the loader and the T.A.R.D.I.S., trying to look like she was trying to stop it! |

Citadel: Lower Wards "I had a feeling your friend you were working with was a girl..." Shiori commented in response to Musashi introducing Chloe. "And Kanan... that was just to see if he could verify something I found out about... But I cannot get into that here," A random alley in the lower wards of the Citadel wasn't exactly a safe place for sensitive discussions. Instead, Shiori then turned to Chloe, and bowed. "Nice to meet you, Chloe. And thank you for keeping Musashi safe in my absence." Citadel: Civilian Docks As she was approached by one of the C-Sec officers, Rosetta pulled out her own ID, but also pointed over to Solei. "Hi! Ummm... I think there's going to be a bit of an issue with the purple haired girl over there. ...not the one with the twintails, the other one. She definitely doesn't have ID." SPAAAAAAAAAAACE: Damion's Ship Haruka's question caused a smile to pop onto Damion's face, as he spun his chair around back towards the others. "It's exactly as I said before! I am the great noble thief Zelnite!" he then answered, waving his hand in front of his face once, and producing a mask, "Digging up dirt on the really bad people in this universe, and stealing their crap to teach them a lesson and/or just help some people out!" Damion then sharply turned his mask around, producing a deck of cards from the other side of the mask. "Though for a more legit gig, I also am a bit of a stage magician, specializing in card tricks," he then spun the mask completely around once again, with the pack of cards vanishing. "And no, I don't use any special powers when I do a show, because that would just ruin the artistry and wonder about it all." |

[The Tiamat]![]() Floating through Imperial Space was an enormous, bulky ship. It was as black as space around it and difficult to spot, save for the few bright lines that shone on its side. It was an Imperial Dungeon Ship; the kind used for the highest value Imperial prisoners. Special ships that served as mobile prisons, each one designed to house thousands of the Empire's worst criminals. A single TIE fighter flew towards the ship, its curved wings the only indication that it was anything other than a patrol fighter. “TIE Fighter, this is a restricted ship. Transmit your authorization codes or-” “This is Vader. I will be landing at Hangar 18 in thirty seconds. I trust there will be no problem, Commander.” On the command deck of the Tiamat the commander went white. An unannounced visit from Lord Vader was never good news – though it wasn't the first time the Dark Lord had come to this particular ship. Vader landed his personal TIE-fighter and by the time he was walking through the docking hall, the Tiamat's combination Captain/Warden was waiting for him. A middle-aged woman with a pointed face and dark hair, she saluted him and then fell in lock beside him, walking cautiously with her hands folded behind her back. “Another unannounced visit, Lord Vader? You keep my staff on their toes, sir.” “You know why.” Vader replied in his cold, robotic monotone. “Your staff will forget I was ever here. There will be no security log of this visit. Is that clear?” “Of course.” The Warden saluted, and quickly went about her work. She had heard about his visits when she first took the post. Every few months Vader would arrive without warning. He was here to see the prisoner who didn't exist – the one they kept no records of. She had often wondered who that man was. A prisoner with no name, no records, and only two people ever came to visit him; Lord Vader, and the Emperor himself. Deep within the heart of The Tiamat was a cold, steel room – and inside was a cage made entirely of energy. Suspended within that forcefield was a man with disheveled gray hair and an unkempt face. He was emaciated and weak, having only had enough food to keep him barely clinging to life. The door opened, and the man knew who was here to see him. “... Do you delight in seeing me suffer?” The man asked in a hoarse voice. “I do.” Vader replied. The door slammed shut behind him – and then the screaming started. [Citadel Civilian Docks] “We're still investigating ma'am.” The C-Sec agent replied professionally to the woman as he inspected her ID. He ran it through his tablet, and it came back as being cleared and up-to-date. He glanced at her for a moment. “Some C-Sec officers were killed, so we're taking this pretty seriously. You sure you didn't see anything?” Across the dock, another pair of C-Sec officers checked Edda and Paul's IDs. One of them raised an eyebrow at Edda. “So what the hell was going on? You were all engaged in fighting that Krogan.” The officer in front of Rosetta checked her ID – doing a double take – and then stared at Solei. “... With respect ma'am, a lot of my friends just died in this little fight. So who the hell is the girl without ID? And what the hell was going on?” Another officer was eyeing Kagura suspiciously. “You're Mandalorian? You lot always did like blowing stuff up. This your doing?” “Hey, don't blame me! That Krogan was nutterbutters. Besides explosives aren't my thing, I'm more the poison type – and YES, I have a license for handling dangerous chemicals, before you ask!” Kagura protested. She was used to the bad reputation the Mandalorians had, but that didn't mean she liked it. [Citadel: Lower Wards] Musashi rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. He watched as Shiori bowed to Chloe, and then he crossed his hands. “Come on, Shiori! Don't act like I'm some kid who needs protecting! I'm a professional bounty hunter now! And a good one... well, an alright one.” [Damion's Ship] “Noble thief, huh?” Haruka raised an eyebrow at Damion. She could certainly relate to the 'thief' part, although most of her exploits were the opposite of noble. She looked like she might say something, but she felt Lily's hand on her shoulder and the corner of her mouth twisted to a slight smile. “... Well, I'm the soon-to-be-great Captain Haruka, but since I'm lacking a crew and a ship at the moment. Slight setback.” She cast a glance at Sayuri. “... So what's the deal with twin-tails over there? You guys were trying to save her, Aria wanted us to nab her, and she was in Imperial custody? That's a lot of people all goin' after her... and I have to imagine there's more to it than just her... assets.” Haruka knew she had stumbled onto something big. Aria was one thing, but if the Empire was after this girl... that was a whole other world of trouble. [Imperial Ship] The moment that the loaders attacked, there was a lot of confusion in the hangar. Several Stormtroopers could only scream as they were consumed in flame – their armor offered some protection, but not enough. Another shouted out as the claw of the loader grabbed him by the mid-section, hoisted him off the ground and broke several bones in the process. Yet not every Stormtrooper was caught in the sudden attack. Several opened fire, moving back to keep a distance as their lasers blasted against the loaders, leaving deep scorch marks and ripping metal off the sides. One enterprising Stormtrooper grabbed a detonator from his belt and tossed it, and as it hit the loader it went off with an explosion that tore the loader to pieces! But the loader carrying the TARDIS zipped past them – and right at the hallway where the others waited. One of the Stormtroopers spotted it – and their targets – and he yelled out. Then several lasers were coming towards the group! “Damn it!” Nanami shouted out, drawing her pistols and quickly opening fire. She caught one Stormtrooper in the leg and watched him go down, but a second one dodged her shots and returned fire. The loader was speeding at them, but the Doctor just stepped forward and snapped his fingers – and the doors of the TARDIS went flying open as it was bring brought towards them. “Inside, now!” |

[Imperial Ship] C smirked at the Doc as the gunfire started. He wasn't planning on actually doing much with the loaders, they were there just as a simple distraction and to bring their way out to them. And that plan seems to have worked magnificently, because most of the enemy fire was concentrated on the other loaders, the ones which were actually doing damage. Then the strange man calling himself The Doctor opened his box, and C didn't waste any time. He dove right after Jenny, using her armored form as a body shield against incoming fire, dove into the incoming box in a rolling dive, snapped back to the entrance of the box and held his hand out to grab and pull in whoever was next. "Come on, come on! Those things aren't going to last long, they're just loading machines!" ----------------------------------------------------------------- [Citadel Civilian Docks] The girl shook her head, the tail behind her twitching. "Sorry. I was asleep as I said. My ship is good at keeping sounds down to a minimum, so that's probably why I haven't noticed anything. Must have been quite something though, to do THAT." She pointed to the big hole where Morr used to be trapped. "That's a big hole." She waited a few seconds, her tail still twitching, before it straightened out completely and she asked pointedly. "Could I have my ID back now? That card's kind of important, and I don't want to be here on the Citadel without it. Or is there some problem with my identification?" |
