[Citadel: Civilian Docks]

It was a tense standoff. The Krogan looked like he was just about to shoot, the Batarian before him was sweating bullets but still stood his ground, and the Vorcha were frozen in place, ready to either run or start shooting. This standoff lasted for a few long breaths as the two aliens had a battle of wills and dominance, neither backing down.

That was until the second Batarian spoke up.

"... We lost one target. I'd hate to lose another."

The Batarian leader, Zax, blinked in surprise. "Wait what?"

"That ship right there... My visual analysis thing caught it and returned something interesting. That's the ISOC-X3-T1, some sort of prototype vessel the Imperials want to get their hands on. Attributes classified. Construction classified. Owners and designation, classified. It's a floating black box, piloted currently by some hotshot with a bounty on their head."

THAT got the attention of the Krogan, who finally lowered his shotgun and his fierce scowl lessened to an expression of interest.

"At least we're bouncing from bounty to bounty. At least that's not a failure. I demand the same percentage, the usual."

Xaz nodded seriously. "You have it, Morr. And it's sitting right there, ripe for the taking, huh? How much on this guy's head, Villur?"

The other Batarian brought up a personal computer, running a visual scan on the ship and making a second confirmation with his own database, before scrolling through the details of the bounty... And Guffawed in amusement.

"One point three mil in credits. An even higher bounty than on that blondie, PROVIDED the ship is returned, and I quote, 'generally intact with operable primary systems'."

The grin on Zax's face was a malicious and cunning thing, mirrored by the dark chuckle of the Krogan and a very amused look from Villur.

"Then let's get ourselves another meatball."

And so, the bounty hunter team of 8 armed bounty hunters started to move toward the Cold Iron...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Imperial Ship, outside TARDIS]

"Of course you don't, lady. But the results are still to be appreciated." C took a deep breath. "Right. Let's do this."

Immediately as he snuck out the door of the blue box, C knew that this was going to be a lot harder than anticipated. When that Doctor guy said they were on an Imperial Vessel, C assumed it wasn't a very big ship. That was the WRONG assumption to make.

This wasn't just a big ship. This was a carrier type vessel, with fighter ships of its own. They were on one of the Empire's Carrier-class ships, and that meant this was going to get quite a lot harder.

That's when he heard footsteps coming closer, and quickly shunted behind a nearby crate, trying to stay unnoticed. And he moved from there quickly and silently.

As he was not trying to hide from Nanami, but from everything and everyone else, it was quite obvious that he wasn't a newbie when it came to sneaking around. He moved economically and quickly, he made way between cover with the ease and practice of a wraith. If he hadn't acted so timidly before, he could be mistaken for some special military operative or perhaps one of the human military's infamous "Ghosts".

He crouched down behind a large engineering mech, peeking out from behind one of its passive legs to survey the entire hangar...

Maize moved quickly and knocked out the woman, nodding to Damion.

“Electric girl? So one of them is a meta, huh? Interesting,” Maize said, grinning as she looked through the door. She was itching for a good fight.

Edda raised an eyebrow towards Rosetta now, glancing between her and Solei.

“That is a strange story, but we live in a strange galaxy,” Edda said. Whether or not Rosetta was lying about Solei's origins didn't really matter. If it was a lie, it didn't effect things. He shook her hand as well, looking mildly amused.

“Well, my name is Edda Adwr, and my friend over there is Paul Lei,” Edda said, motioning over to Paul. “Also I believe we have some fresh fruit on the ship...”

He paused as an alarm sounded, a screen appearing in front of him, showing a video of outside the ship.

“...Well, looks like those bounty hunters might have recognized the ship, or possibly me...” Edda said, frowning. “I better get my armor on. We'll get defenses activated.”

Paul nodded slightly, making a few motions with his hands, then pressed something on his person, his armor clicking back into place around him.

“...Are you sure?” Edda asked Paul, who nodded. “Okay then, but don't do anything too heroic. I'll only be a couple minutes.”

Paul opened the air lock to step outside, Edda turning back towards Rosetta, Solei, and Kagura.

“You're welcome to wait out in here, or take a back way out,” Edda offered, then headed to another compartment to get his own armor.

Outside the ship, Paul stepped out, his armor on. He didn't seem to have any weapons, though an odd cylinder was at his waist.

He stayed silent, as per usual, simply staring as the bounty hunters got closer...

Kay's first thought was “Ooh, more alcohol”. Her second thought, after drinking some was “Ew! Cheap, yuck, ugh.”

She watched Hammah interact with Kanan after setting her glass aside.

“That's good enough for me,” Windsong replied to Thundercracker.

Lavo crossed his arms. “It still smells shady to me,” he said. He actually doubted his judgment on the situation a good deal. He wanted to be wrong. He wanted this too-good-to-be-true opportunity to be his and his sister's ticket out of the Empire.

Yet, if his anxiety was right, both of them would end up in a worse situation than the targets they were searching for moments ago. If this cybertronian was indeed a spy of some sort, they could very well be signing up for a death sentence.

Windsong, however, had no doubt in her mind. Thundercracker appeared trustworthy to her. She understood the dangers of being wrong, but taking this action felt like a step forward that the siblings had needed to take for years.

The way Lavo looked at them, though, told Windsong that he was too afraid to take this chance.

After what felt like forever to the draikens, Lavo turned away. “If you want to put yourself in danger, then...fine,” he said quietly, his voice shaking like an unstable bridge.

“We need to stay together!” Windsong cried. “You can't just turn away like this! Don't you want to go home? Don't you want to see Mom again?”

Lavo clenched his fists. Of course she'd bring up their mother. He turned only to glare at his sister. He wanted to say something, but he could usher no words. His throat burned and his eyes stung.

Again, there was silence.

Rosetta's face soured slightly, as she shook Edda's hand, shaking it slightly and looking at it for a moment, after the handshake ended, confused.

"You're a bit cold..."

Though it was at this time, that alarms started to ring inside of the ship, as apparently the bounty hunters got a bit too close to the ship.

...which actually seemed to brighten Rosetta's mood back up.

"Ooooh, nice alarm system on this thing! Able to pick up on the weapons those guys were carrying, I guess? Or is it something else?" Rosetta then spoke out, after Edda offered the group to stay inside of the room, "Also, do you have any popcorn, for the show?"

Rosetta was probably a bit too unconcerned about what was coming. At least until she looked around, and noticed that Solei was no longer there...

"...where did she...?"

Solei herself had followed Paul outside, staying quiet herself, though once more, it seemed as though her eyes seemed to glow slightly, as well as her hair...

Omega - Haruka and Lily's Place

"I'm sorta hoping we don't have to fight those two?" Damion sighed, as he finished dealing with the last of the mercenaries that he saw outside of this building, "But by all means, if they want to fight, you've got dibs on the electric one."

Damion was not a big fan of electricity. Especially when using his powers to phase through things.

He did follow Maize towards the entrance as well, however.

[Alliance Military Base]

Connor froze as he saw Sarai pull out a gun. Suddenly things were looking a lot worse. He gulped, and slowly took a step back.

“Um... I can, but... what are you doing?”

“No idea.” Shepard shook her head. She was hurrying down the halls down, but they had yet to receive a call as to where the intruder might be.

“All I know is this whole thing smells fishy. This girl doesn't look like a seasoned spy. There's probably something bigger at play here.”

[Citadel: Lower Ward]

Kanan paused when Chloe actually followed through and bought another round. He frowned, watching as the alcohol came and reached for a glass quickly. He wasn't sure he trusted these people. In his experience, anyone willing to spend money on him wanted something from him.

Then he spotted Hammah's glass moving on its own and his eyes went wide. He sat up a little straighter and sat his glass down. He cleared his throat and wiped his beard, and then leaned back.

“... Why are you here?”

[Docks: The Cold Iron]

Kagura tilted her head at Solei's story. She wasn't sure she believed that – but then, she knew how strange the galaxy could be sometimes. She'd heard of people being stuck in suspended animation... just never in stone.

“Seems like I stumbled onto a real... unique... bunch.” She commented, and then she sighed as she leaned back. “As for me, the name's Kagura Iwata. I'm... a Mandalorian.”

The Mandalorians were a group of peoples from all across the universe who had come together two hundred years ago and formed into a powerful collective – until they were destroyed by the Sith Armada. Now, only small cells remained of their once powerful might.

That's when news broke about the bounty hunters. She sighed. “You're not very good at avoiding bounty hunters, are ya? And from the look of those guys, they won't be as willing to compromise as I am...”

She paused, and glanced at Edda. “You increase my pay and I'll take care of them for you.”

[Imperial Ship]

Nanami frowned at the sight of the three Stormtroopers. This could be bad... but the terminal they were crowded around seemed to be just what C needed for his hacking. She sighed. Starting a fight with Stormtroopers on an unknown Imperial Ship was probably a very bad move...

“Keep your head down.” Nanami told C, and then she went into action.

She suddenly dashed forward, knowing that the sound of her running would echo down the halls, and she raised her pistol and fired at one of the Stormtroopers watching as the laser impacted with the side of his helmet and knocked him over. She rushed forward and pulled a second pistol from inside her jacket as she aimed one at each of the remaining Stormtroopers.

“You move or say one word and you're dead!” Nanami hissed. “Back away from the terminal!”

[Omega: Haruka & Lily's Place]

“... What in the world...” Haruka suddenly looked a lot quieter. She stared at Sayuri, watching her extended hand and the fallen enemies. It was strange, as she stared at her, she felt... something.

“We're protectin' that girl, Lils.” Haruka suddenly stood up. “Don't care what it takes. Something's... something's important about this one.”

She quickly rushed towards Sayuri. “Hey... hey, are you okay?”

[Alliance Military Base]

Sarai looked absolutely terrified but tried to keep it together despite just having pulled a gun on the very kind young man who had just been hlping her. If the police didn't kill her she was sure her father would do it now without all the trouble she was causing. The least she could do is keep Connor out of it so he could go home-

"I'm sorry, I don't want you to get into t-trouble for my s-sake it's easier if it looks like you tried to a-arrest me or something and just got s-shot that way you won't go to jail and get kicked out of the military and your life won't be ruined thanks to m-me" Sarai rambled, hands shaking. "If you can h-heal yourself this is better r-right? That w-way you won't end up in jail with me"

He was so nice...Shooting him in the leg seemed like the right thing to do.

[...]

Melanie still wasn't sure about about leaving it to the guards but gave a small nod, ultimately trusting Galv. "It looks like she was taking some information...I imagine a place like this has a lot of dangerous information that could be leaked..."

She knew for a fact there was a ton of dangerous information because many of her secrets- things she had to disclose when joining were on those computers. And she imagined everyone had secrets like those.

[Citadel: Lower Ward]

Chloe couldn't help but to roll her eyes. "We heard you were an awesome craps player- why do you THINK we're here. We got questions. Mostly those two" Chloe said, motioning to Hammah and Jimi. "I'm the muscle in case you don't want to answer said questions."

She took a shot and smiled.

Lower Wards

Jimi raised an eyebrow at Kxs, nursing his own drink and frowning at it, then at Chloe.

“I think I can handle any situations that require muscle,” Jimi said.

Hammah was quiet for a moment as he stared at Kanan, before he spoke again, seeming to focus on just the two of them right now.

“We came here because talking to you could get us information on where to find my brother and I's father. But I think maybe there was some larger force at play,” Hammah said carefully, “Were you a Jedi?”

Alliance Military Base

Garrus frowned, nodding, “Non lethal then? She could provide intell if we capture her.”

“Probably... plans, schematics, a lot of stuff...” Galv said, frowning, “Though maybe just stuff like personnel files. Wouldn't do too much good for others, not like it's a big secret about who we are.”

Docks: The Cold Iron

Edda frowned at the 'cold' remark, but soon returned in green armor much the same style as Paul's.

“I'm pretty good at taking care of bounty hunters,” Edda said, then smirked at Kagura, “Nope, either you can help out if you want to join up, or you can see why you don't want to mess with Paul and me.”

He glanced around. “...And apparently that Solei girl too.”

Paul glanced towards Solei as she stepped out with him, nodding slightly towards the girl as he stepped forward, staring at the bounty hunters.

-Omega-

“Woah, hey... I don't want to be responsible for breaking siblings up,” Thundercracker said, holding his hands up, “Besides, it's not like this is something that can happen right away. I gotta get in contact with the right people and everything...”

He looked nervous, not wanting to be the cause of strife anymore.

Haruka and Lily's Place

“You just want to keep an eye on her because she's cute,” Lily said, though (mostly) joking. She stepped forward as well as Maize and presumably Damion entered, turning to stare at them.

“...You're a Saiyan,” Lily said, spotting Maize's tail, “I don't think Aria has a Saiyan in her employ...”

Considering most of them were wiped out.

“So, we gotta crack your heads too or you gonna let the girl go?” Maize asked, “Because I am itching for a fight.”

“No, they're fine... they want to help me too,” Sayuri said and leaning against Haruka now, looking worn out, “I'm... tired...”

-Imperial Ship-

As one Stormtrooper went down, the other two were threatened. One of them didn't say anything, while the other did something Nanami probably wasn't expecting.

“Oh come on, I spend four months undercover and now this happens?” the Stormtrooper said. They blurred and attacked the other Stormtrooper, knocking him down and out and then turned back to Nanami.

“Will you put those down they won't work on me. Well, not in the long run but I rather like this face,” the Stormtrooper said, pulling their helmet off with a flourish to show what looked like a young woman with blonde hair. “Hello, name's Jenny, who are you?”

"Usually the pirates who work on this asteroid for that Aria lady aren't exactly trustworthy, so... I'd be careful about that who you go trusting..." Damion commented towards Sayuri, as he entered as well... hooded, and otherwise looking even more like a thief than Haruka or Lily did.

"And no, the legendary chivalrous thief Zelnite would never work for anyone except justice itself!" Damion then added, with some extra embellishment.

The previous try, the Batarian had the lead and obvious first say. Zax was a pretty good leader of his little group, but Morr was a recent addition, a solo mercenary with a pedigree and a penchant for violence. A threat of such, Zax figured, would have his targets nice and cooperative lest the Krogan simply break them.

But in this case, there was a certain disadvantage to having such a psycho on the team. Because Morr certainly didn't have enough of a violence fix when he killed a Vorcha, so when the ship's door opened, the massive armored alien was already moving.

So when Paul and Solei stepped out the door, they were met not with a calmly and cautiously approaching group, but a massive, charging, roaring alien with a shotgun the size of a small cannon. With Paul directly in sight, the Krogan squeezed the trigger, and a spray of 6-inch-long flachettes came out of the maw of that beast at rail-propelled v elocity, ready to tear apart shields, armor and flesh alike.

And in the wake of that shot came the second, and was followed by the body mass of Morr himself, trying to barrel his way past the two unfortunate targets before him and into the ship.

But he wasn't alone in that charge. As Morr camr barreling in, he was followed by a rolling disc across the ground, one that deployed just as Morr got there, sending out an electro-magnetic pulse that aimed to kill shields and electronics alike. Morr didn't care for it at all, he had no personal shield that kept up with him during charges, and everything else was protected under a layer of armor thick enough for a vehicle. But for unprotected targets, it was a much worse option.

And if that didn't seem enough, another loud gunshot rang in the air, a bullet sailing aimed dead-center on Solei's forehead from a high-caliber sniper wielded by the last of the Batarians, while the Vorcha were whistled to move in after Morr and 'clean up'.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Imperial Ship]

C amused himself with Nanami's efficiency for a moment. That woman was just as effective as some of his own allies, maybe even more so. The way she took down the first storm trooper, armored soldier with sufficient personal protection, suggested that she was definitely not new to this sort of field either.

And she killed with a cold efficiency that made C shiver just a bit. She reminded him a bit of Deadman, before that guy went rogue...

But that's when apparently the third Storm Trooper suddenly switched sides, revealing to be a blond girl in armor. C was buying none of it, however. To suddenly meet an undercover agent among Storm Troopers was as unlikely as finding a needle in a haystack: Storm Troopers were screened by their bosses, and the Empire somehow ALWAYS knew where spies were in their midst. It was a well-known, terrifying fact, they just could never be properly infiltrated.

So when this "Jenny" suddenly switched sides, C did not believe her at all, and circled cautiously around her, keeping Nanami between himself and this Jenny figure. While he did so, he whispered something to himself, and lights began surging through his long braid, just like before inside the TARDIS...

“...Zelnite? Isn't he some kid's story?” Lily said, upon hearing Damion's name, “Yah, I remember my grandfather telling my brother and I tales of that guy from when I was a kid.”

She did not seem impressed.

“Also, who the heck are you two and what are you doing here?” Lily asked.

“Also, we have popcorn in the kitchen area. Down the hall, third door on your left,” Edda mentioned to Rosetta as he fed an energy clip into a gun now, looking it over. He heard shots outside, but seemed oddly unconcerned.

Outside, the flachettes came at Paul, the shot firing at Solei.

A wave of energy came from Paul as he held up his hand, knocking back the flachettes, the disc, and possibly Morr himself, or at least hindering the charge.

Long enough for a shimmering green blade of energy to spring to life in Paul's free hand, the armored figure holding it aloft and slashing it through the air, stopping the shot aimed at Solei's head.

Most of the Jedi had been wiped out, the Force unknown to others.

Not so much in Paul...

Lavo was taken aback by Thundercracker's defensive position. The green draiken took a deep breath. He now faced the cybertronian.

“Look, even if you are telling the truth, I just...I want my sister to be safe,” he said, his tone much calmer than before.

“It would be safer than being with the Empire.”

“You don't know that,” he voiced sternly. “I...understand that if I left you to your own devices, it'd be my fault if you got hurt. It looks like you won't go back with me, anyway.”

Windsong perked up. “So you'll go with us?”

“I don't want to,” Lavo stated, “...but I want to keep you safe.”

Windsong looked to Thundercracker. “So now what?”

The glow of Solei's eyes and hair did not ease up upon seeing what was charging towards herself and the silent man next to her. Of course, it was then that these people started shooting all sorts of stuff at Paul and Solei... and Paul seemed to deflect most of the gun-fired stuff. That still left a charging Morr, however.

She'd have to try and trip that thing up to stop its charge. At least it was a big target, because he also was a bit blurry to the purple haired girl. And he was charging fast...

Though that made it easier, as well. He got closer, and once within range, Solei slapped down her hands to the ground, sending a pillar of the metal which made up the floor, directly towards the charging creature.

"...There must be someone upon which the stories are based on!" Damion responded to Lily, still with a bit of embellishment in the tone of his voice, as well as not adding any other information about who they were.

"And we're here to steal the twintails girl here away from slavery or whatever the empire was planning, so... you might want to think twice if you are thinking of getting in the way of that."

[Imperial Ship]

Nanami was confused to say the least. She watched as one of the two Stormtroopers attacked the other, removed her helmet, and then looked over at her as if having a gun aimed at her was more a minor annoyance than a serious threat.

The smuggler was curious, annoyed and rapidly wishing she had stayed in bed. Bounty Hunters, hackers, that strange man in the box and now this? And to top it all off she was still on an unknown Imperial ship. It was just about the worst luck she could ever recall having.

“... C, hack the video feed and do what we came to do so we can get out of here.” Nanami demanded of the hacker, never once taking her eyes – or the sights of her pistols – off Jenny. “I take it you're not a stormtrooper... but who are you?”

[Omega: Haruka and Lily's Place]

Haruka watched, feeling rather annoyed by this whole situation. It seemed apparent that these two didn't work for Aria. This 'Zelnite' and the saiyan called Maize were vastly different than the usual psychopaths that Aria counted on. They seemed to genuinely want to save this girl.

“Do I look like I work for the Empire to you?” Haruka snapped over at 'Zelnite'. “Look Aria wanted us to steal something from that ship. I didn't realize her 'package' was a person. I don't play around with slavers or that kind of bullsh*t.”

She paused. “But I'm also not an idiot. I don't know who this girl is or why you, Aria or the Empire want her so badly, but clearly she's important enough that people are killing each other in my living room so I'm not just going to hand her over to a couple of strangers without knowing who you are and what you're planning.”

[The Citadel: The Cold Iron]

Kagura paused as she watched the fight outside – her eyes widening a bit at the sight of the blade Paul activated. Lightsabers were a rare find, and even when one turned up, most people didn't use them. It was said that without an understanding of the force and proper saber training it was just too easy to cut your own limbs off accidentally.

She clenched her jaw and said nothing. The Jedi had been heroes to most of the universe. Their destruction marked the rise of the Empire, and was the moment tyranny started its reign... but for the Mandalorians, the Jedi were the people who had destroyed their once mighty people. Who had killed their leader and scattered the clans across the universe.

“... Interesting friend you've got there.” Kagura said quietly.

[The Citadel: Alliance Military Base]

“Non-lethal.” Shepard confirmed as they hurried down the halls. They weren't far now from where Sarai and Connor had taken to hiding.

[…]

“W-Wait!” Connor raised his hands, desperately trying to think of some alternative solution. She definitely didn't seem like she wanted to shoot anyone, and Connor would have liked to keep from getting shot if he could.

“You really, REALLY don't have to do this! I don't know what's up with your father but... you seem like you don't want to do any of this stuff. So let me help you! I'll hide you and help you get out of here, and away from the people forcing you to do this stuff!”

[…]

An Alliance marine opened the door to a small room, checking inside. His flashlight glanced around the darkness and he shook his head. “Looks clear. Wait...”

He spotted it in the corner. A slender figure cloaked in black, pressed up against the wall and trying not to move. The marine raised his rifle. “You there! Who are you?”

“This room is clear. Move along.” The figure hissed as he waved his hand.

“What? Identify yourself!” The marine demanded.

The figure sighed, taking a deep breath. “You are strong of mind. That is commendable, but makes this... messier.”

With a crackle and a flash of red, the man was beside the marine and his lightsaber cut through the man's armor – and his spine – with the ease of a hot knife through butter. The marine fell in two halves, silenced forever, and the figure hurried out into the hall.

It was bad luck that someone had caused an alarm to go off today – the very day that an assassin had come. He was supposed to be stealthy, but that was impossible now... so he would do things the messy way.

The figure in black turned and headed off towards the hangars!

[The Citadel: Lower Wards]

Kanan looked from Chloe to Jimi, not thinking either of them really looked like 'the muscle', but he knew better than to judge by one's appearance. The most powerful man Kanan had ever known had been tiny and green, after all.

He stared at Hammah. “... Normally I'd deny it, but... this is about as rock bottom as life gets, so if you are Imperial assassins go ahead and do your worst.”

He leaned back, watching Hammah and Jimi. “Yeah. I was a Jedi.”

Musashi stared wordlessly. He'd thought for sure all of the Jedi were dead; and yet they had found one.

GRAPPLING HOOK!

[The Citadel: Alliance Military Base]

“You really, REALLY don't have to do this! I don't know what's up with your father but... you seem like you don't want to do any of this stuff. So let me help you! I'll hide you and help you get out of here, and away from the people forcing you to do this stuff!”

Sarai stood trembling for a moment before she slowly lowered her gun, giving a tiny and frightened nod. Connor was right, she really REALLY didn't want to do this. She was told what she was suposed to do if she ever got caught but actually executing said orders was not what she wanted on her conscience. She knew her dad and brothers loved her but they would no doubt be absolutely livid that she couldn't even shoot a guy to save her own skin...

"O-Okay, but where can we hide?" She asked stuffing the pistol back in her bag.

[...]

“Probably... plans, schematics, a lot of stuff...Though maybe just stuff like personnel files. Wouldn't do too much good for others, not like it's a big secret about who we are.”

Melanie didn't look too thrilled but tried to push back her worry.

"Still...Maybe we should go somewhere else...Until she's caught." Melanie said looking to the side. Suddenly she perked up, grabbing Galv's arm once more. "We can go to my place! I haven't been assigned to barracks yet so i'm living at one of my mom's apartments right now! It's really nice and we could get to know eachother a little better!"

[The Citadel: Lower Wards]

“I think I can handle any situations that require muscle,”

Chloe twitched in annoyance as Jimi spoke, knowing just what the man was thinking. It was what EVERYONE thought when first seeing her. Heck, even Musashi thought it when they first met, and he had the scars to prove it.

"Ohoho you're cute, but I will literally break you in half little boy" Chloe shot back arrogantly, a smug grin on her lips. "Don't let this girlish figure fool you I could wipe the floor with you with my eyes closed."

“Yeah. I was a Jedi.”

Suddenly her attention was back on Kanan, the girl frowning. "Was? What do you mean was? It's not like you can turn being a Jedi off."

All the tact of a boulder to the face.

Krogans were an incredibly resilient alien species. Their body mass was several times that of a normal human, and that was mostly muscle and bone, tough and incredibly hard to damage. A charging Krogan was one of the fiercest and frightening enemies on a battlefield, because they could rarely be stopped.

And this was proved once again as the force wave hit Morr, and only caused a slight momentary stumble, which Morr managed to correct with his next forward lope as he just continued his charge. He was aiming to smash Paul across the head with that enormous shotgun, almost certainly trying to break his skull like a peanut shell, when Solei entered into the mix and used a solid mass of steel to finally stop him, slamming into his stomach and knocking the wind out of the charging alien.

Zax, however, didn't seem to look concerned at all at the development. In fact, he almost looked happy at the new revelation that his enemies wouldn't be taken out too easily. As Morr stumbled back a step, Zax took his second hand off his rifle as it suddenly modulated, shortening and forming into a much smaller firearm that was more back-heavy than the previous rifle setup he had it in, comfortable to be held in his right hand only.

Then he raised his free hand, and a pulse of purple-tinted force flared around it and blasted outward at Paul.

Biotics. Called the Rich Man's Force, Biotics were a manipulation of a very rare material that interacted strangely when electrically stimulated, and reacted to the most minute of electrical pulses, causing spatial distortions of rather widely varied kinds. This element could be embedded into a nervous system by a very complex surgical process, or exposure during pregnancy to raise a child to naturally settle small amounts of 'Element Zero' around their nerve clusters. This, combined with a complex chip that translated electronic impulses into something more directed allowed a very small amount of people to use abilities that compared to Force or metahuman abilities.

It was very rare that a botic survived and that such a complicated and expensive procedure was successful. Even rarer when they had good control. And even rarer for one to not be one of the races that were force-sensitive.

And it was a needle in a haystack for a BATARIAN to be a Biotic. Nonetheless, here one was, slamming into Paul with a wave of force that almost matched the other man's pulse.

With Morr out of combat for just a moment and Zax now spraying bullets with one hand and pummeling Paul with repeated biotic blasts, Solei was now the focus of the sniper... And the Vorcha. Which meant that she was now subjected to gun fire from a sniper rifle and five smaller guns spraying her with sharp bits of metal.

[Imperial Ship]

C shot Nanami a glare, but she wasn't looking at him, and he didn't want to argue here. He didn't much want to follow her orders, since he still didn't fully trust that she was not set up to grab the bounty on his head. But here, on this ship, he wasn't going to voice his complaints at all.

Instead, he circled well around the newly revealed "Storm Trooper-ess", and got to the terminal. With a soft clap of his hands, he twitched his fingers as he FELT the magnetic servos and ball-joints within his digits start up. He grabbed his long hair braid and... Plugged it into where the card reader enabled access to the terminal, a security measure so only a technician with a card could actually get into it, and lights began to run down from the base of his skull down through the braid and into the terminal.

Five seconds later, his fingers were flying across the keys of the terminal faster than any human hands could do, accessing the terminal's administrative functions as though the layers of security weren't even there. Within moments, he had hacked into the local cameras, looped them, found the localized recordings of the TARDIS' arrival, erased them and replaced them with looping footage, and then proceeded to gain access to the core codes of the terminal, using them to dive deeper into the system the terminal was connected to, accessing he central computer system of the ship and its records, and seeking the footage backups.

It was still taking him time, and he was working as quickly as he could. With the threat of being found physically at any moment, he had no time to set up any sort of precautions and protect himself from the ability to be back-traced, so he knew they would be found eventually.

"... As I thought, they have multiple backups of the recordings. It will take a bit of time to get rid of all the evidence. We don't have to worry about the cameras anymore, but I don't have the time to be careful. Their systems will notice intrusion soon. We're on the clock, babe."

Now becomes the the past in an instant — and everyone will eventually die! Destiny triumphs over human knowledge and goes mad! That is the way of things! I spit upon this frail, crazed, world! I spit upon the Second Law of Thermodynamics!
~ Desty Nova, Karmatron Theory

Let them Label me! Let them swear and curse at me as I tug humanity like a bucking bull into the darkness of the unknown, revealing its secrets to the sane and driving them MAD! In ages long past, I shall be looked upon as a tyrant and a savior! As a savant and as a fool! My work shall advance humanity long past its time, throw it into the unknown future and force it to grow strong or FALL! Years from now, when I will inevitably be removed, my work shall continue to progress, because these things cannot be denied! Governments will publicly criticize my work, but privately conduct research that advances it! I shall imprint myself into the annals of history, among the stars that shine as brightly as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Dmitri Mendeleev, Nikola Tesla, and countless others! My work will shine as brightly as any star, and I AM ITS CREATOR!!!
