I'll bite your legs off!

District III Didymus paused. Time? An escort mission? Money he had plenty of, time was another matter... On the other hand, while it's nice, it may be less virtuous to give something you have abundance of rather than something you have little of... "...where and what do you need? I'm...interested." he said. |

[District II: Aboy’s Office] “… I know things.” Verity said quietly as her gaze moved away from Aboy. She was now focusing on her shoes, fully expecting Aboy to call her crazy. They always did. “I know so many things… things I never learned. Things I can’t even remember… but I know they’re important. I can’t explain it. I just know that I need to find someone.” [District III – Along The Wall] Two engineers had gathered near a grassy spot at the base of the wall. A long, hairline crack ran up nearly twenty feet, and they were hard at work repairing it. “Glad we got to this in time. One of the worst cracks I’ve seen in a while.” As the two worked on filling in the crack, a group of hooded individuals walked through the grass and approached them. Two of them carried an enormous box between them, while the one in the middle was skipping along. One of the engineers turned around at the sound. “Hey! You can’t come over here. This area is off-limits while we’re repairing the wall.” The skipping man stopped and pulled a large canister from his robe. He tossed it to the ground in front of the two engineers and it released a suddenly cloud of thick green smoke. The engineers fell back, coughing for a moment… and then they began to laugh. As the smoke cleared, the men were on the ground convulsing and laughing uncontrollably. Their mouths twisted into massive grins and their limbs jetting out to the side. “Nice to see you smile, boys!” He threw back his hood, revealing the grinning face of a clown. Immediately he turned to the two hooded figures. “Alright boys, set us up the bomb.” The hooded figures ran over to the wall and opened the chest, revealing several sticks of dynamite and strapping them against the crack on the wall. It didn’t take long until the bomb was assembled. “I am so excited sir… I am so happy to find freedom…” One of the men said. The twisted grin on their leader’s face was replaced with utter confusion for a moment. “Eh? Oh, right. Yeah, yeah… you can only find freedom from life’s horrors in the jaws of the monsters! As they strip the flesh from your bones, they’ll strip the sins from your soul! And you two will have the honor of going today!” He waved a bit and turned, jumping into a carriage as it came near. He whistled and the woman driving turned the horses and they started to speed away from the wall, grass crunching beneath the tires. “Gotta say, Harley, it never ceases to amaze me at what I can make people believe. And they say I’m the crazy one! Ahahahahaahah!” |

District One Aristocratic Manor Mustang reflected on this question briefly. "Not really. As far as I know, he's just a signature on my papers. Same with most of the staff above me." The Colonel had only recently been transferred to District One, but even then, he was told he would be sent out to watch the walls. He had been given a short staff that reported to him only but his jurisdiction thus far wasn't too large. Things changed, though. "You're right. I think he's been given more leeway, recently. Hopefully, he will give me the honor of meeting him." District Three Town Shipper looked slightly hurt. "Hey, now, like I said, this is my first work with jewelry. I know you guys travel a lot. Maybe you can pawn it off for something better? Or just keep it, if you like." He gave the necklace over to Aiden regardless. "I don't get to do jewelry often, you know? It's hard to find and cut gems." He smiled. "But I can look at your wheel, sure. And hey, I'll walk with you if you like, Aiden. I gotta run some more chores, make a delivery or two, so it's right up your alley." He smiled reassuringly, giving the pair a thumbs up. Shipper's family had done its best to help out the town, and they had given special attention to merchants. But Aiden and her mother's work was very valuable, and they had helped Shipper out plenty of times. He often gave them service free of charge. --- Jericho seemed frazzled as he walked alongside Paul. "I know I don't come down often, but people act like I've been dead. And it's so hard to shop! Pointing at things, and then they try to haggle a higher price out of me..." |

District III -Cadet Training Facility- Old Man Sensei laughed, nodding to Lavan. He grabbed his own 3D Gear, then leaped out of the broken window Lavan had made, using his Gear to shoot off down towards the office where Miyamoto would be. He might be old, but he was still very good at what he did. Hammah nodded, following along with Kxs as they headed for the obstacle course. “So... what is it like in the Survey Corps?” Hammah asked, still in the Training Corps himself. He wasn't sure if he wanted to follow along in his brother's footsteps, but he did want to help however he could. “Thank you,” Edda said to Shimera, then turned towards Strobe. “Hey! You!” Edda called out, “Are you part of the Training Corps?” -Town- “Alright then,” Loralee said to Didymus, then turned to Shipper. “Alright you two, if both of you will help...” Loralee said, producing some paper and writing something down. She signed it, then handed it to her daughter, who tucked it away, along with the locket. “The big warehouse a couple miles out of the town,” Loralee said. It was a local warehouse for food supplies and other things, where Loralee would stock up, using her money from when she was an aristocrat in District I. She still had access to it, of course. District II -Aboy's Office- “I can't really help you if you don't tell me more,” Aboy said carefully, looking towards Verity, sipping her tea. “I want to help, I do...” District I -Aristocrat Party- “The King said he might come here, actually... A lot of movers and shakers at this party,” Claire said, “So that'll mean your boss will come too.” Indeed there was a commotion at the door, and the room went quiet as King Don Gallic stepped inside, followed by the head of the Elite Corps and thus Gallic's personal security. And if GS wants Rin to show up here too, go for it! |

District 3 Didymus paused, looking over at Aiden and Shipper. He turned to Loralee, and spoke softly, trying to keep the other two from hearing. "Are you quite sure you need me, ma'am?" he asked. "That lad there is strapping enough, and..." he grinned, though he felt a bit of envy/pain as he spoke. "...I'd hate to be a third wheel." |

[District I – Aristocratic Party] Just behind the King, walking regally and silently was the Queen. Rin was stone-faced and silent as always. It was rare that she ever appeared in public, usually leaving such aristocratic affairs to Gallic. [District II – Aboy’s Office] “It’s hard to explain.” Verity shook her head with a slight sigh. Then she looked around the office and paused for a moment, standing up and walking over to a shelf and taking a medical book down from the wall. “Okay… here’s what I mean. Go ahead and flip to any random page. Ask me any medical question.” Verity tossed the book over to Aboy. “I’m no doctor. I don’t have any training… but I guarantee you if you ask me, I could tell you how to perform a surgery, or diagnose a condition from hearing the symptoms…” She shook her head. “And it’s not just medical stuff. Ask me about engineering, science, bakery… anything! I know things… it’s like… it’s like I read every book in the world, and normally I don’t know anything, but if it comes up… if I need to know something, I just know it. I can’t explain why…” [District III – The Wall] The two hooded figures had strapped dynamite along the crack in the wall. It was tapped down crudely, but the bombs were in place. One of the men smiled and dropped to his knees, chanting in what sounded like a made-up language while the other pulled a lighter and ignited the fuse. Neither man ever bothered to move as the bomb went off. A hole was blasted in the side of the wall… and it didn’t take long before something came bounding inside. A large, monstrous creature that let loose a terrible roar and came charging in past the defensive wall. Its snout twitched, sniffing the air before it caught the scent of humans – and it went running in the direction of the training grounds… |

District I – Aristocratic Manor “Aren’t we all hiding something?” "I suppose you do have a point" Kanna said with a small grin, taking a sip of her drink. “I see. So you’re a guard. Interesting. And just how good are you?” "I can shoot a man in the eye from a hundred yards away, and I can bring a man like your knees in just a few moments....In more than one way" She answered without hesitation. "I would demonstrate but i'd hate to rip my dress at such a formal affair" District II – Lara’s Lab “You seem capable enough, though. Ever think of getting a real job?” Chloe gave a shrug "I thought about it, but I don't have many real-world kind of skils. I'm good at stealing so I steal. So what do you do to make a living? This place seems pretty strange...Lots of junk all over the place? Are you a hoarder?" District III- Hawkins' Cart “Cadet, huh? I guess they do seem to recruit young... Which division are you hoping to get into?” "I'm not really sure, though my mom is now an Elite. She'd probably like me to become one of them one day" Jason explained to Levina "Though my mom is also kind of a jerk....So following her footsteps may be stupid" “School? Mom teaches around here. So if you're going to be around here still...” Melanie smiled to Galv, giving a nod. "I really want to, I mean i've been waiting forever to get to go to school...But....I think I have to go with Jason. I'm not allowed to go places alone in case something bad happens" |

{District III} [the Wall] A dark haired man had heard an explosion no to distant from where he was positioned. Running over to where he had heard the deadening sound. He quickly clasped his hand over his mouth to silence himself, and knelt by the wall in the shadow as a huge creature passed by him sniffing the air near him. Emmett carefully drew out his sword that was strapped to his back, making sure to not let the sun reflect off it and give him away. The big creature let out a low growl as it crept in closer to him. Searching around himself for something to distract it with, Emmett picked up a small rock, and tossed it over to a dropped revolver. It made a clink loud enough for the creature to turn to see what it was. Emmett snuck around it the way it wasn't looking as The creature turned and stalked up on the gun hitting it with it's paw. Emmett then picked up another rock at threw it back at the wall. Remaining behind the creature as it faced the wall again, and slashed at where he had been. Trying his best not to give himself away, but also not trying to pass out from holding his breath He quickly grabbed the revolver and the creature turned back and growled in his face, peering at him as if he was just a play toy, and was about to rip him to shreds. Emmett shot it in the legs as it tried to grab him, but missed it's intended target and it fell whimpering, and slightly handicapped it slashed its claws towards Emmett just barely getting his arm as he ran for help. {District I} [Aristocratic Manor] A red haired woman in a red dress entered the Manor as the rest of the comrades were bowing, and applauding the royal couple. Scarlet joined them in honoring their King and Queen. Although she felt kinda bad for being late there was really nothing she could have done about it, she was finishing her job that day, and somehow she missed the announcement of the King, and Queen coming, but she was happy she didn't miss it entirely. as the gathering returned to normal Scarlet got a drink and looked around the room. She saw several new faces conversing with her comrades in the Elite Corp. |

District III Cadet Training Facility KxS shrugged. "It's a little uneventful at the moment, and we're still trying to clear our name, you know." She put her hands in her pockets. "I'm sure we'll be able to sort everything out, but I do sometimes worry about how long it will take. I mean, if we're unable to turn our Corps from a joke to a success soon enough, we're probably going to end up like the boy who cried wolf." She looked at Hammah and smiled. "But like I said, I'm positive we'll be okay. Anyway, how has your training been going?" Strobe sighed, holding in an angry groan. She turned her head, but not her body toward Edda. "Yeah, what of it?" Shimera was preoccupied. She could have sworn she heard something earlier, like an explosion or a growl, or both. She couldn't see anything from where she was, though. She tried to jump up to see, but there was too much in the way. |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
District III -Town- “A third wheel?” Loralee said, “Nonsense, and with the two of you we'll be able to get more supplies then usual and be able to feed a few more people.” “Exactly!” Aiden chimed in, nodding to Didymus, “The more people, the merrier!” Loralee shivered for a moment, frowning as she glanced towards the wall, like a breeze had come that direction... Must have been her imagination. “I hear becoming an Elite can be really difficult,” Levina mentioned to Jason, “Though I don't think they'll let you have your sister with you during your training... Unless your mother is going to have her moved to District I with her, she'd have to be looked over by someone...” -Training Facility- “That is 'Yeah, what of it, sir,” Edda barked, standing up straight now, “I am your superior officer, a full fledged soldier in the Survey Corps, and you are a Cadet! We are an army, a military unit, not a summer camp! If you can't give respect to those around you, you can't trust those around you, and they can't trust you! If you go out beyond the wall thinking you can handle it alone, thinking you can kill those monsters alone, you are dead wrong! There's only been a handful of people who can go solo outside the wall in a combat mission, and I know each of them. So when another soldier requires information from you, you better give it up, because the next time they ask it could mean life or death, and I'm not going into battle with a newbie who doesn't know what it means to be in the Corps....” A small pause, and Edda grinned, “Unless you're one of those pansies who plans on joining the Elite Corps and staying in the land of milk and honey of District I, then I don't want you even if you're the best around.” Ila paused, looking towards Nanami. “...Did you just get a really bad feeling?” she asked. District II -Aboy's Office- Aboy was quiet, frowning. Quite a bold claim... but it was, at least partially, testable. “Do you absorb information from books then, or is it just something you know already?” Aboy asked now, deciding she would try and find out what she could. District I -Aristocratic Manor- Joshua looked around the manor, immediately sizing up places of exit, and those around, noting some of the soldiers who was there, nodding towards Claire who was talking by Mustang. Gallic was talking with various aristocrats and a few of the soldiers, being the general people person he could be and as charismatic as possible, though like Rin he would have rather not been there, but knew how important it was to be seen amongst this crowd. District III “Though I don't think they'll let you have your sister with you during your training... Unless your mother is going to have her moved to District I with her, she'd have to be looked over by someone...” Jason instantly frowned, moving to take Melanie's arm. "Kanna can barely take care of herself, I don't think she could take care of Melanie without me" "Jason, that's not very nice" Melanie said matter-of-factly. "But it's true" he retorted, looking back to Levina. "I'll have to convince them to let her stay with me, no one knows how to take care of her" From her spot Melanie sighed, looking to the side. She didn't like when her brother got like this...She sounded like some charity case. "I think I could stay alone, I mean I was fine during the day when you were in school. I'm eight after all" Jason groaned. He wasn't really sure what he was going to do. |

District III Cadet Training Facility If someone looked at Strobe closely enough, they'd see the corner of her mouth raised just a little. She knew just how much of a joke the Survey Corps have been, but it would just be downright low to mention it. The gleam in her eyes behind her glasses, however, told all of her thoughts. "Oh, my apologies, sir," she said with a mocking curtsy after completely turning toward Edda. "I'll keep your advice in mind." She swiped her ponytail off of her shoulder. "Maybe I will join the Elite Corps, maybe I won't. We'll see." |

[District I: Aristocratic Manor] Rica was quickly intrigued by this woman. If she was half as good as she claimed, then she could be fairly useful… and he had a feeling that he could find some other uses for her too. “I don’t know. Ripping your dress sounds a lot more fun than sitting around and listening to aristocrats whine about the supply shortages.” Rica said with his usual bluntness. He smirked, sipping his drink and then turning back to her. “Although if you’re really as good as you claim, then your talents are sorely wasted as a guard.” Rica’s tone turned a bit more serious. “Have you ever considered more important work?” [District II – Lara’s Lab] Lara flinched a bit at being called a hoarder. She did live in a large building filled with junk, so the accusation might have been appropriate. “I’m an engineer.” She explained, crossing her arms and leaning back against the nearby table. “I invent things and sell them… though usually my job is repairing things. I can fix anything from a toaster to 3D Movement Gear.” [District II – Aboy’s Office] “… It’s all there already.” Verity said, not quite sure if Aboy believed her. She sighed a bit, turning and staring at the other. [District III – Training Facility] “I always have a bad feeling.” Nanami shook her head. She turned and ran towards the wall of the building, launching a line from her movement gear and pulling herself to the top. As she perched at the top, she gasped. In the distance she saw smoke rising from the wall. “SOUND THE ALARM!” She turned and shouted. “THE WALL IS BREACHED!” [District III –The Wall] Emmett had gotten one of the beasts down, but the hole in the wall was soon the sight of others. Each just as large, just as menacing – and all hungry to get inside. They snapped their jaws at one another as they fought to get through the hole. More were coming. |

(District III-The Wall) After finishing off the beast, Emmett heard the alarm blaring. Relieved that he didn't have to run all the way there to tell them, He turned to face several more of the beasts fighting each other to come through the wall. "HURRY UP!" He yelled towards the training facility, forgetting that he was out of hearing range, but it seemed the beasts heard him better as a few ran at him. getting a better grip on his sword Emmett held off the beasts as best he could. Striking down one, but almost got tackled and killed by another. Hesitant, but not ready to be a smudge on the Wall, he held down a lot of their excitement by hitting them hard, and repetitively with mind blasts, making them angrier, and giving him a headache, but despite the throbbing pain in his head that seemed to be getting worse, he fought harder against the beasts finding it slightly easier then before, but still difficult. |

District I “I don’t know. "Perhaps....But I like this one, so i'd prefer to keep it in tact" Kanna stated simply, with a small grin. "Though ripping and sliping out of are two totally different things. Not that i'll be doing that or anything" “Have you ever considered more important work?” Kanna paused for a moment, silently taking a sip of her drink. "More important? What do you know about important work?" District II "Oh really?! So if you have that much skill why aren't you in District one, fixing all their fancy crap?" Chloe asked, walking around and picking up a few things. Truthfully it all looked like junk to her, but she was never good at fixing stuff. |
