[Gondor]

The cart crossed into Gondor, and luckily they came through the border at an area where there were no guards. They were soon on a more even road, and the cart slowed a bit in its pace.

“Hmm… odd…” Cid reasoned. “I expected the Riders would be out on patrol of the border. They have increased patrols ever since Queen Brahne’s began to expand her troops near them.”

Garnet frowned. “Are we far from Avalon?”

Cid nodded. “Unfortunately, yes. We must travel the width of Gondor to get there, but we should be safe. I have many contacts here, who can help us, if we are found by the Riders.”

[Alexandria]

Raven stumbled a bit. Healing him had caused her pain. Anytime she used her healing powers, it caused her physical pain.

When he asked if she could run, Raven simply floated a few feet off the ground.

“I do not need to run. Come, let us hurry… I thank you for saving me, but we need to get away from this place. The guards will come looking for me.”

[Avalon]

As Sai slashed with the upward blow, Gawain simply jumped to the side and evaded it altogether; and he slashed out from the side!

He was fast, much faster than one would assume a man in full armor could be.

Didymus paused.

"How strange and concerning, perhaps, that they are not here...we must be on our guard. But otherwise, is there anything for us to do besides pray and keep the lady entertained with what talk we can provide?" he asked with a slight chuckle.

Sai didn;t even blink as he continued the arc of the sword, folding his arm at the elbow as the blade followed the extension, folding neatly over his back. His left foot, one he kept behind him, slid towards the right, his body making a slight pivot, the sideways slash thus clashing with the blade that now ran along Sai's back.

Using the impact of the blade to his advantage, Sai spun further, ducking under his own arm that held the sword in defense, now holding it in front of him, point facing down. A step and a springing motion from the blade sent the elf into a fast lunge against his opponent.

He wasn't using his immense strength either, nor was he going any faster than he could normally. Instead, he was moving intuitively and skillfully as the sword continued in graceful arcs around him. None of his motions were wasted, none of his limbs overextended.

He moved exactly enough to maximize his ability to fight.

Umbra almost hopped in place as Raven startled him with her flying trick.

"Ye can FLY? Dat's possible? But dat's... Magic ain't... Yer... Whoa."

Then the other half of what she said filtered into his consciousness.

"Wait, wha? The city guards are after ye? And ye said sumthin' 'bout de queen being bad... Wait, the heck is goin' ON?"

Nonetheless, he nodded to the girl to lead on, and followed at a jog.

-Ankh-Morpork-

Shades Hotel

Vime ducked and rolled, barely avoiding the venom and pushing himself back up, frowning.

Vimes was a cop, through and through. He did what he thought was right, and lived by his moral code. He was the kind of man who would wade through a battlefield and arrest the generals and give a telling off to the armies. He believed the Law to be something greater then any one man. No one, nothing, was above it, to Vimes.

Certainly not this creature of darkness.

“Sergeant Detrius, present, arms!” Vimes barked. Detrius stiffened, then produced his crossbow.

It was only called a crossbow because of it's size relative to the hulking form of the troll Detrius. It was a converter seige bow, and Detrius winded it carefully, pulling back the strings that brought it to play.

He aimed it at the spider, and fired!

Old Butcher's Shop

Angua shot forward as Nanami knocked The Butcher down, landing on top of him and pressing her claws to it's throat.

She breathed heavily. It would be easy to slit this creature's throat...but...she was a cop first and foremost.

“You are under arrest,” Angua said, “Anything you say will probably be written down, provided we have paper and a pencil. If you can't afford a lawyer, well, tough.”

She pressed her claws against his throat, but didn't cut skin, “And just because I'm a cop, doesn't mean I won't kill you if you try something.”

Mended Drum

“Here's your tea!” Kyran said, handing Jade the hot cup, “Do you need anything else? I'm off soon so it'll have to be quick if you want me to get it.”

Before Ben or Jade could say anything, the door opened. Another girl walked in, the same height as Kyran. In fact, she looked an awful lot like the girl, though her hair was short and black, and her eyes brown instead of blue.

She wore the armor of the Watch, her badge hanging on her hips as she stepped directly towards Musashi, Ben, and Jade's table.

“Oh, hello Elysia!” Kyran smiled, “You're early today!”

“Finished my paperwork quickly today,” Elysia said dismissively, ignoring the three at the table, “Didn't have anything else to do, so I figured I'd just come early.”

Kyran smiled, “Well let me finish helping these three and we can go home!”

Kyran turned back to Musashi, Ben, and Jade, waiting to see if they wanted anything else.

Streets

A young teenage girl with long white hair, tan skin and red eyes was walking along the streets, frowning. The crowd was thick, and the girl was short, not able to see above many of the heads.

“Ohhh...I think he's here in the city, but I don't know where!” the girl huffed, frowning, “I gotta find him...”

She sighed, then ducked into an alleyway, heading down that way. Maybe he would be at the Alchemists' Guild. They tended to blow things up, though most of the time that was on accident. It was also located away from most of the other Guilds due to this, except for the Gambler's Guild.

When asked why, the Gamblers paused, then pointed to their name.

-Vale Ruins-

(Augh I just remembered I forgot this place. D: )

“Wow...” Garet said, looking up at the sky. He paused, then headed over to the edge, looking downwards. Just blackness.

He reached downwards and picked up a loose rock, tossing it into the abyss, listening.

Nothing.

“Okay, don't fall,” Garet said, straightening up. He eyed the nearest statue, taking a breath and jumping to the next outcrop of rock.

He hopped a few more times, getting to the statue and staring at the shining gem it held. Breathlessly he took it, looking into it's blue surface.

Star of Mercury...

-Avalon-

Samuel sat down at the side, legs crossed, deciding to watch Gawain and Sai spar. Samuel himself knew how to use a sword to some degree. Mostly just some basics and how not to look like an idiot using one. Compared to these two he was a rank amateur.

He much preferred to fight hand to hand. Or hand to weapon, he wasn't too particular. He liked seeing the looks on people's faces when he blocked a bladed weapon with his arm. Those few seconds of surprise usually won him the fight.

Despite Didymus' attempt to lighten the mood by asking how they might entertain Garnet, he was still wary-and troubled.

With immediant danger behind them, he was keeping his lookout. But his questions yet remained, and he knew all too well that even if things SEEMED to be going right...

"Elder, have you verified the trustworthiness of your contacts? A lesson our people, and indeed, any friend of God and member of His church is learning increasingly this day is that to trust anyone but He Himself often leads to...betrayal, and misery. I've seen it...time and time again. A sweet little girl wanders into a village. Ten days after they take her in and help nurse her back to health, it turns out she was a witch who murdered the family who took her in and turned their house into an enclave of the Devil-I've seen an entire VILLAGE fall to this before, a mess I was at least involved in cleaning up....the village hasn't been rebuilt, by the way, despite the ground being exorcised. That, or elven "refugees" who are really raiders that turn on the ones offering them food and rest for the night, leaving only cinders and charred skeletons, OR..."

His voice was raising, now, and he stopped himself.

"...I apologize, but these memories and the times we bear witness to take their toll on me, I'm afraid...it's little wonder some, thankfully not all, but some villages hold occassional witch-burnings and can be...unkind...to passing elven travelers. The events I describe aren't uncommon. Those that don't practice such rigidity...often find themselves in like this..."

[Avalon]

[Castle Courtyard]

Gawain was easily one of the best swordsmen in Avalon. He could move with a level of grace and dexterity that few humans or elves possessed. He was fast, he was cunning and he was effective. He never wasted his energy on superfluous movements or strikes that could easily be evaded.

He focused, and only struck when he had a plan or an opportunity. He was able to dodge or block Sai’s strikes, and when he saw an opening, he took it and slashed!

[Alexandria]

[Open Field]

As Raven flew towards the nearby forest, she decided to explain things to Umbra, at least as much as she dared divulge to him.

“The Queen of Alexandria, Brahne, has fallen under the influence of a cult. It is a widespread and dangerous cult that operates all over the continent. They have a large presence here in Alexandria, because they have deceived several mages by claiming that their powers come from a higher form of magic.”

Raven frowned. “In reality their powers come from something dark, and evil. The Cult captured me, and has been draining my magic for their dark rituals.”

[Ankh-Morpork]

[Shades Hotel]

The Giant Skulltula was quite large and its skull heavily armored… but there was no way it could survive the massive siege bow bolt that struck it and smashed it flat.

[Rooftop Near Hotel]

The paler of the two figures sighed and slipped his hands into his jacket.

“Damn… my powers are still too weak. I can’t even create a monster to kill a simple city guard.”

[Old Butcher’s Shop]

Nanami nearly fell over from the shock when Angua actually tried to arrest the giant demonic Butcher. Her eye twitched and she suddenly felt a headache, and remembered why she didn’t work with cops.

“You can’t arrest a Butcher demon! It has no mind, it only lives to carve up other creatures… and even a prison meant for a troll could not hold that beast.” Nanami sighed.

Luckily, the Butcher wasn’t one to take orders. It grunted and tried to throw Angua off it, while also causing flames to shoot up from the floor at Nanami! (Who dodged them)

[Mended Drum]

Musashi bit his lip. He supposed there was no point in getting nervous over these things, since he was a walking dead man anyway. Then he stood up and rubbed his neck, looking over to Kyran.

“Excuse me… I’m sorry to interrupt, but ah… I just have to ask… would you go out with me sometime?” Musashi smiled.

It wouldn’t be an RP if Musashi didn’t keep asking girls out

[Vale Ruins]

Felix watched as Garet picked up the stone and he paused, as if waiting for some unseen catastrophe to occur.

And it did.

All at once, the entire cavern started to shake.

“What’s going on?” Felix cried out.

[Gondor]

[Cart]

Cid waited until Didymus was finished, and then he looked over to him. He spoke in a polite, but stern voice.

“Brother, there is always wisdom in an abundance of caution… but there is also wisdom in trusting your Elders. I have traveled the roads all across this continent, I have set foot in every nation that exist on these shores. My trust is not something that one earns lightly, so when I say that there are those we can trust here, you can believe that.”

The Giant Skulltula was destroyed, and Vimes frowned, pulling out a cigar and lighting it, taking a drag as he stepped inside.

“Alright, we better get investigate,” Vimes said, looking around the hotel to see if he could find anything.

Old Butcher's Shop

Angua dug her claws into the monster's flesh. She frowned, then nodded, bringing her claws around to try and slit the demonic creature's throat!

“Worth a try...” Angua frowned.

Mended Drum

Elysia frowned as Musashi asked her sister Kyran out, Ben and Jade trying to stop themselves from laughing and coughing up their drinks.

The red headed girl paused, Elysia opening her mouth to say something when Kyran answered.

“Okay!” Kyran smiled, “You seem like a nice guy!”

“Kyran, sis, you just met this guy in a strange bar!” Elysia argued, “He's probably a creeper!”

Kyran smiled, turning to her sister, “It's okay Elysia!” She then turned back to Musashi, “I'm off work now, actually!”

-Vale Ruins-

“I don't know!” Garet yelled, grabbing hold of the statue, worried about falling into the deep dark abyss.

Jenna grabbed hold of Isaac, looking scared as well.

[Ankh-Morpork]

[Shades Hotel]

The figure on the rooftop across the street muttered something in a malicious sounding tongue, and then the body of Skulltula burst into flames!

Immediately, the hotel room was on fire – destroying precious evidence and threatening to do the same to Vimes!

[Old Butcher’s Shop]

The Butcher grunted as its throat was torn open and blood spilled out.

... blood that immediately caught on fire! The entire corpse started to smoke, and rumble in a way that made Nanami’s red eyes widen.

“We need to leave. NOW!” Nanami shouted, realizing that the monster’s corpse was about to explode!

[Mended Drum]

Musashi blinked. Normally women turned him down… then again normally he flat out asked them to have a baby with him the moment he met them.

“Huzzah, then!” Musashi grinned. “Err… I’m new to town, so maybe you should decide where we go; but I’ll pay for everything, and open doors and stuff!”

[Vale Ruins]

The shaking seemed to intensify, and beneath them, at the bottom of the blackness, the water vanished! Volcanic cracks could be seen in the ground, flames burning out of them.

Then the ground finally stopped shaking.

“I don’t know what’s going on…” Felix shuddered. “But we had better get those other… whatever those things are… and get out of here!”

Didymus nodded.

He was one of the more...conservative...in the Order and he wondered just how much he and other members of it truly had in common sometimes, but...

...he knew his place. And he knew that Cid spoke truthfully when he spoke of the weight that his trust carried, so his nod was a sincere one.

"Very well, Elder. Thank you."

He chuckled, though some grimness was still evident in that chuckle.

"So, is there anything the lady wishes to discuss? Something less...earnest...than any of our previous exploits, perhaps?"

This fight was definitely something to see.

Gawain was a knight of the round table, a very agile and strong swordsman with enough experience behind his ability to turn quite a few heads. Gawain was one of Arthur's best knights, if not one under the king himself. The skill the man showed was damn impressive, and the sword flashed in quick successive strikes that would leave most other fighters confused as to how many times Gawain struck and where.

Yet this time, the man was being pressed to his limit, for Sai was an absolute monster with a blade. Even when carefully modulating his strength to his strikes, the elf struck powerfully enough to leave the blades ringing and would leave a chip in any average blade. In fact, his own sword was chipping quickly with every successive strike, though it was nowhere near being broken yet. The sword blows rang clear and hard, the vibration and impacts powerful enough to cause hands to shake after a few continued blows.

The more surprising thing was his swordsmanship. When using the maul, Sai was absolutely brutal, his movements choppy and powerful, but lacking much finesse. The sword danced in his hand like an extension of his own body, and left very few openings that could be exploited, changing from blows that looked quicker than they really were to strikes so fast that they were hard to keep up with, changing angle almost constantly. Low, middle, middle, low, high, high, low, and so on and so forth in a never-ending stream of combined movements that pressed his opponent.

And Sai didn't seem to tire, slow down, back off. He pressed, constantly on the offensive, but leaving so few exploitable openings that when one was taken, Sai pulled off a dodge or a counter that was damn near unpredictable.

This was a clash of two swordsmen who have surpassed human skill. Normal skill. Even elven skill. This was a blade match between two true swordsmen.

When Gawain took the opening, Sai stepped into the strike, the sword that he was swinging changing angle as he flipped it BACKWARDS in his hand, reverse-gripping it and barely making the block with the tip of his own sword, the tip chipping heavily as he swung up while reversing his grip again, turning the attack into a beautiful, picture-perfect counter, a diagonal slash that swung by the knight's chest with just millimeters of distance.

Through the entire spar, Sai's expressionless and focused face relaxed more and more, and as they fought on, he even had a small smile on his face. Not the psychotic grin he had when smashing Zeromus around with a maul, not the confident and cocky smirk that was so familiar on his face, but a small, somewhat mysterious smile.

He truly was most comfortable in combat.

"You're good. No wonder the king holds you in high regard."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alexandria
[Open Field]

Umbra continued to run while listening to the girl next to him speak, and he... Well, he was getting that the queen was evil and part of some evil group or some such, but this magic stuff... It left him completely in the dust.

"So de queen's no good anymo', der's a big gang out dere wid dark magic and stuff, and yer a target cause yer a magic user? Issat 'bout right? Yer also sayin' dat dey've captured ye and been usin' yer magic... Does dat mean yer one of dem dark culty guys too? Not part of deir group but skilled in deir magic?"

He was still trying to wrap his head around the idea. He had absolutely NO IDEA how this happened without him knowing anything. He's been in Alexandria for almost 4 months now, and nowhere did he hear about the queen being evil or there being some dark cult. This entire situation just surfaced without warning and caught him with his pants down.

Thankfully not literally, that would have been mighty embarrassing. Especially since he was traveling with a girl of all things now. A girl that floated. And used magic. And had raven-stuffs and shadows at her beck and call.

And apparently didn't have any pants either. He... Wasn't entirely sure what to think about that yet.

"And does dat mean we're goin' after de queen? Or dem culty guys? Or perhaps both of em?"

Vimes cursed, both he and Detrius hurried out of the hotel room.

“Damn, damn, damn!” Vimes yelled, “Better signal the firemen...We don't want that fire going out of control...”

Detrius nodded, stomping forward and waving his arms, signaling some people...

Old Butcher's Shop

“Well that's new,” Angua frowned as the blood caught fire. She leaped upwards, landing near Nanami.

“Right, let's go...” Angua nodded, hurrying out with the girl!

Elysia frowned, looking from her sister to this Musashi person, obviously annoyed at the boy.

“You know, we still need to figure out about those Talismans things,” Jade mentioned.

“Talismans?” Kyran said, scratching her head, “What do you mean?”

“Oh, like these,” Jade said, pulling out the Rooster Talisman, showing Kyran it, “Seen anything like this?”

“Oh, I have!” Kyran smiled, “The museum has one! It's suppose to be going on display today, I was going to go see the exhibit! Ohhh, we can go there!”

Elysia paused, frowning still, “How did you know something like that was going on display?”

“The boy who helps clean up the museum told me about it,” Kyran said, “He's very nice, you know.”

Elysia just frowned again.

-Avalon-

Samuel watched Sai and Gawain fight with their swords, quite impressed by their abilities. He looked around, trying to see if he couldn't spot Lancelot...

(apologies for not posting here lately)

[Ankh-Morpork]

[Shades Hotel]

The flames shot up higher and higher, consuming the room and the evidence within. Across the way, Lucien LaChance and his dark companion slipped into the crowd of people gathered watching the fire, and disappeared.

[Old Butcher’s Shop]

Nanami rushed out of the shop and watched as the flames consumed it and she frowned. This was Maghda’s work alright… she had always been known to destroy her bases when she was caught or done with them, to make the trail harder to pick up.

By now, Nanami was all too used to it… and extremely annoyed.

“Maghda IS at work in this city, and I fear time is growing short…”

[The Mended Drum]

Musashi grinned. Was it actually possibly that luck had smiled on him enough that he could go on a date and investigate the Talismans at the same time?

“Excellent, then! The museum sounds like it could be a lot of fun.” He smiled at Kyran.

[Avalon]

[Castle Courtyard]

Gawain was no slouch with a blade. He was one of the finest swordsmen in all of Avalon, and likely in the entire world. He was put on the defensive by Sai, but he was damn good at it. He blocked or evaded Sai’s strikes with the kind of expertise and timing that only a true pro could bring to the table.

As the two fought, Lancelot appeared on the sidelines and watched it with a cold stare. He did not seem impressed by either his fellow Knight or the Elf. He was practically expressionless as he watched the clang of blades.

[Alexandria]

[Open Field]

“…” Raven did not answer immediately when Umbra asked if she was skilled in dark magic. She looked down at the palms of her hands, and shadows floated across them.

“I am someone who was born of the darkness, yes… and the darkness is powerful within me… but I’ve rejected that. As for what we do now… I need to leave Alexandria. It is too dangerous for me here.”

She turned to Umbra. “… You’ve helped me a great deal by rescuing me, but it will be very dangerous from here on out. If you’d rather go your own way, I would not blame you…”

[Vale Ruins]

As Garet took the second Gem, the entire room shook once more! The cracks in the ground far beneath them erupted with flames, spewing lava!

And then a giant stone eyeball floated down from above.

(AGooooI! Do you wanna play The Wise One?)

[Alexandria Castle]

Queen Brahne was already in a panic. Her daughter was missing, Garland was furious, and apparently Avalon was involved. Brahne was alone in her chambers, having sent Beatrix and Steiner to find the Princess.

A figure appeared. A man, in red robes and wearing a skull-shaped helmet.

“Brahne, you insufferable fool… both Garnet and Raven are gone! Can you do nothing right, O’ Queen of Alexandria?”

Brahne jumped. “W-What? Raven is gone as well? I did not know… I thought those creatures were protecting her!”

The man slapped Brahne.

“Fool! You have failed in every task we have given you… I shall dispatch my minions to get them back. Hope, Brahne, that it is not too late... or you shall pay dearly for your mistake.”

[Gondor]

Garnet had been quiet as Didymus and Cid spoke. She did not think it was her place to comment on the Paladins discussion, and so instead she looked out the side of the cart at the vast wilderness around them.

When Didymus turned his attention to her, she shook her head.

“I am sorry… I would not know what to say.”

Okay, Sai was officially impressed.

It wasn't every day a swordsman could last for long against him. It was much, much rarer to find a swordsman or swordswoman that could be skilled enough to challenge him. Even rarer were those that didn't give into panic the moment Sai struck.

Gawain was all three.

The knight was strong, fearless, and kept his head even when Sai was trying to completely overwhelm the man with strength and skill. Instead, Gawain fought back. And fought back to such an extent that Sai had actually went through more than just several defensive maneuvers to keep himself from being cut. In addition, the elf wasn't landing any blows on the opponent, and the reverse was true as well.

And the elf was definitely trying.

In skill Gawain was close to Sai's own, but his style kept him as the elf's superior in the blade due to Sai's own penchant of only using the blade in one hand. With two hands to maneuver the sword, Gawain was landing strikes that were almost too close for comfort, and the dark elven swordsman's tunic already bore several cuts that came REALLY close. And the man retained a strong grip even with Sai's powerful, jarring blows.

What the HELL were they feeding the knights here to make them THIS good?

More than a few times, Sai's other arm twitched behind him, almost going for another sword instinctively. The elf controlled himself though, and continued using just a single blade.

The two continued to dance around, both breathing heavily. Sai had sweat running down his face from the effort to keep himself untouched while trying to press his opponent with a continuous offensive that would have left most other fighters exhausted by now. But Gawain was relentless in his defense and his own blows and counters packed a nasty punch. Sai attempted to slip his blade under the man's guard, only to have the knight strike the sword away and go for a side slash that Sai barely dodged. He tried an upper sweep and then blade-cross while making a forward jump, only to have Gawain read his moves correctly and DIVE under him, slashing out. Only Sai's instincts caused him to change the direction of the blade to block the attack.

He feinted. He went for straightforward attacks. Nothing seemed to be getting through Gawain's guard.

Finally, after almost 10 minutes of relentless sword clashing and pressing, Sai relented and skidded backwards after a rather powerful two-hand counter from the knight.

"It has been a very long time since I've fought someone as skilled as you, knight. Your name is Gawain, yes? You've got one hell of a sword arm and some great instincts, Gawain. It's been a while since I had this much fun."

Umbra looked at the girl, absolutely shocked. He wasn't shocked by what she said about dark magic, he didn't understand that stuff, and he didn't really care about it because the girl runni-... Gli-... Floating next to him was fundamentally a good person. He could tell that she cared, and her tone assured him that she wasn't lying.

No, what shocked him was her offer for him to go his own way.

"Yer crazy! Me Ma always told me, ya gotta protect girls and women, cause dey're de ones dat bring life ta de world. Yer a girl in trouble, I can't keep a good conscience if I leave ye ta dat bad queen o' yers. 's long as I can help ye, and 's long as ye'd have me help, I'm gonna stay and help."

And even when talking, he just continued to jog along. Even speaking while running, he didn't seem to be running out of breath or weakening in any way. Normally, a person would at least tire easier after flushing poisons out of their system, but Umbra kept going like a well-oiled machine.

"So, where ya goin' next eh? If we gotta get outta dis place, bettah ta have a nice place ta go to, right?"

Now becomes the the past in an instant — and everyone will eventually die! Destiny triumphs over human knowledge and goes mad! That is the way of things! I spit upon this frail, crazed, world! I spit upon the Second Law of Thermodynamics!
~ Desty Nova, Karmatron Theory

Let them Label me! Let them swear and curse at me as I tug humanity like a bucking bull into the darkness of the unknown, revealing its secrets to the sane and driving them MAD! In ages long past, I shall be looked upon as a tyrant and a savior! As a savant and as a fool! My work shall advance humanity long past its time, throw it into the unknown future and force it to grow strong or FALL! Years from now, when I will inevitably be removed, my work shall continue to progress, because these things cannot be denied! Governments will publicly criticize my work, but privately conduct research that advances it! I shall imprint myself into the annals of history, among the stars that shine as brightly as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Dmitri Mendeleev, Nikola Tesla, and countless others! My work will shine as brightly as any star, and I AM ITS CREATOR!!!

I can't see what you're imagining
-Ankh-Morpork-

The Shades

Vimes bit back a curse as the flames consumed the hotel, shaking his head and turning, motioning to Detrius.

“We'll head back to the Watch House. I want every available cop on the streets, searching,” Vimes said to the troll, “Hopefully Angua had a better lead...”

Streets

Angua frowned, their evidence going up in flames too, turning to Nanami.

“Could have been worse, I suppose. You alright?” she asked.

The Mended Drum

“Okay! Just give me a second to change here,” Kyran said, then focused, shadows moving around her. After a few moments she was still there, but now dressed in a black dress, “Okay let's go!”

She headed outside with Musashi, Elysia frowning and following after them, determined to chaperone her twin and this strange guy.

Ben and Jade looked towards each other, then finished their drinks, following after them.

Once everyone was gone, someone coughed in the corner, who was then hit hard in the head with a chair.

Soon the entire tavern was in a brawl, sans the barkeep, who sighed softly. Business as usual now.

-Avalon-

Samuel noticed the other knight watching, getting up and walking over to him.

“Excuse, but are you Lancelot?” Samuel inquired, “Gawain told me you could help me with something.”

-Vale Ruins-

(I already have Alex, so you can have him if you want! I'm not sure what I'd do with the Wise One, to be honest.)

“...Okay, that's weird...” Garet muttered, staring up at the giant flying rock with an eye. “What...who...are you...?”
