Shizuo jumped down from the car. "Are you in or not?"

---

Shipper seemed to worry a bit when she didn't emerge from the inky darkness. "You still there, Aiden?" He called out. "Where are yooooooou?"

---

Giacomo felt a stinging sensation..but he ignored it, turning around, Hammah in a headlock. "Calm down, or I'm going to snap his damn neck like a twig. You're both going to listen and listen good."

The Career needed their attention..

Outside Radio Tower

"Nanami..I just want to help..okay? You seem so troubled all the time.." A rebel walked up to the pair. "Alright, everything's set up."

Three Dog smiled. "Boo yah! Let's get on in, I'm looking forward to this!"

Legion Territory

Cole turned to the group. "Well..no reason to stand around and gawk. Let's push on. There's probably more Legionnaires where this came from." He holstered the amp back into his rucksack and moved away.

KxS jumped to her feet. "Don't you DARE hurt him!" she barked. She bared her teeth at Giacomo.

"Say what you want, but if you hurt him any more than you already have, I'll pound you so flat you'll have to slip off your socks to scratch your ass!" she spat, not caring about her language usage around Hammah at the moment. Her eyes were wide open and her pupils had contracted in her anger.

She wasn't going to let some punk beat up her brother-at-heart.

Game Center

Oh no, they were found out! Shimera looked at her device to find if Cess was anywhere near where he had to be.

She decided to think optimistically. They may have found intruder evidence, but they haven't caught the intruders yet! Cess still had a chance.

The blonde just had to stay calm for now.

-Arena-

Galv fired a blast of electricity widely, using enough to knock the arrow out of the arrow, missing them. He then gasped for a moment, bending downwards and staring at the arrow still in his leg.

Galv took a deep breath, taking out the arrow with a sudden gasp, bleeding, blood dripping down his leg.

He held up a single finger, electricity sparking in it, keeping it contained and brought it to his leg.

Galv's ability offered him some protection from heat, though usually just for some brief instances, not for maintaining a defense. He bit back his lip as he held his finger to his leg, cauterizing the wound before he glanced back to Melanie, then nodded to her.

Galv shot up, ignoring the screaming pain in his leg, the metal arrows from earlier rising with him, Galv focusing hard, spinning them around and using his electro-magnetic control to shoot them at the mysterious archer!

Shipper would see a shape move past him, paying him no mind, heading towards the light at the end of the tunnel...

“Okay then! Maybe we'll run into each other again!” Aiden smiled, then looked around, as if trying to decide where to go to find Shipper.

Then from the subways a creature appeared, bursting out at them, jumping towards Van and Coral!

“We have a deal,” Maize nodded to Shizou, then paused, holding out her hand, “I suppose we shake on it?”

Hammah and Kxs simply weren't good enough to beat Giacomo...Hammah was trapped in a headlock, his head still pounding, still hearing that buzzing noise in his head...

The Enclave left many things in the city that would be too impractical to move. Many cars littered the streets.

One suddenly roared to life, it's broken headlights flickering for a moment as it's tires revved, then shot towards Hammah and Giacomo!

No one seemed to be driving it...

“I'm not heartless, I'm practical...Besides, I'm a Tribute as well. I'm not here as a prisoner,” Thunder said towards Lavan, “As for your deal...let me deliberate for a moment.”

Thunder went quiet, taking a step back and thinking. Wherever they were, Thunder concluded the Enclave probably wasn't watching. Probably, at least...

It certainly was an idea. While Thunder had come to the ugly conclusion he would have to kill others to survive, it still didn't mean he was happy about it. If it wasn't for the Game he wouldn't have any quarrel with this other Tributes.

“...Do you have a contingency plan?” Thunder finally asked, “What if Gallic just decides it's better to kill us all and blow the whole Arena up?”

-Fancy Party-

“If that's what you think,” Galvan said, “It is your choice.”

Samuel paused, then sighed, turning to Kanna, “Do you want me to go get him?”

Samuel wasn't sure what he thought of Kanna. He wasn't sure if he was trying to help her because of the memory of Kain, because of his son, or something else. He held no romantic feelings for the woman, but they both had something in common. Both had found some kind of happiness despite this world, and both had seen a loved one die. In Kanna's case she had been lucky to find it twice...and then unlucky enough to lose it twice.

Heck, in a perfect world the two might become in-laws, if their kids did not live in a world like this...

“Ummm...yah...” Erin nodded, “My name is Erin...Erin Russel...”

She paused, looking nervous still, staring up at Jason. He seemed very cute...

“Errr...I'm...trying to help my Tributes? Are you...a Sponsor?” Erin wondered. This was her first time being a Mentor.

Also probably a first time in a while being out in public and talking to someone without an armed escort or her brother nearby.

-Spork Residence-

“It's understandable...it's hard to see a sibling in trouble and not being able to help...” Agoi sighed, holding his wife close, trying his best to comfort her.

Hew gasped suddenly, staring at the TV. A car was charging at Giacomo...With no driver. Had Hammah figured it out...?

-Legion Territory-

“Hopefully next time we can capture one and ask them a few questions,” Zeke mentioned, slinging his pack back on, “Maybe we could set up a trap...think that might work, Cole?”

-Game Center-

Cess had managed to plant a couple bugs, then froze as alarms suddenly sounded...an intruder!

No one was coming at him, which meant...

“Shimera!” Cess thought, then hurried back towards the closet, worried.

In the closet the man looked around after sending out the alarm, then stopped, looking at the air vent...the open air vent.

“Alright, who's in there?” the man called out, crawling up to it and looking inside...

-Flashback-

A middle aged Asian man sat on a rock, flipping an odd poker chip in the air, staring into the desert heat. Ten Legionnaires surrounded him, all eying each other. This wasn't how people were suppose to act around them. Not looking idly bored and paying no attention to them.

“Err...you have trespassed into Legion Territory! You will now be taken prisoner, where your punishment shall be decided,” one of them said, stepping forward.

The Asian man caught the poker chip, staring at it's platinum surface for a moment, then put it carefully into his pocket.

“I'm sorry, did you say Legion?” the man asked, cleaning out an ear with his pinky, “Do you have some water? I'm out. I'd be willing to trade for it.”

“You are under arrest! We are Legion! You can not hope to resist us,” the Legionnaire said again, more forcibly, taking another step towards the odd man.

“Legion...you lot all fight honorably, correct? Well, you have principles, rules of fighting?” the man asked, looking at his pinky finger now, flicking some ear wax to the ground.

“Of course! We have honor, unlike the scum of the NCR, or the decadent Enclave!” another Legionnaire spoke up from his spot, “Long live Caesar!”

“Oh good,” the Asian man said, a grin appearing on his face, “I was worried this might actually be hard.”

Before anyone could react he shot forward, two quick jabs blinding the Legionnaire who had stepped near him, a well placed kick knocking him down.

A couple minutes later all ten Legionnaires were on the ground in various states of consciousness and injuries.

“Oh, stop complaining, you'll live,” the Asian man said, helping himself to some of their supplies, then headed back off into the desert...

[Radio Tower]

“It’s set? So we’re ready?” Nanami actually let a rare smile cross her face. She would much rather be in the battlefield than in some old-world radio station, but she had to make due… and perhaps they could at least upset the Enclave on the opening day of the Games.

“Alright… I’m ready.”

[Arena]

Van gasped as a Deathclaw, one of the most terrifying types of creatures, appeared. He immediately clapped his hands and slammed one of them into the wall. There was a blast of electricity and light, and he created a long spear!

He immediately stabbed at the Deathclaw.

Coral, however, paled. “ARE YOU PSYCHO? WE NEED TO RUN!”

Melanie watched wide-eyed as Galv began to cautrize his wound. She had to turn away though, when the shine from his electricity became too bright for her eyes to handle.

By the time she turned back she noticed Galv controlling the metal arrows...And shooting them back into the shadows. There was a sudden scream, and it seemed as if they all hit their mark. A teenage girl collapsed into the light, several arrows dug into her chest. She didn't look much older than Melanie or Galv....

"Oh my goodness...." Melanie whimpered, a hand over her mouth.

[...]

Chloe couldn't help but to jump a bit when Connor screamed, no because it surprised her but because she was afraid someone would hear them. While she got them here she doubted she'd be able to drag him and fight off an attack.

"Shhhhhh" Chloe said quietly, blinking as she now watched Connor's hand fall over his wound. A light fell over it and it seemed to heel...A bit. The poor boy still seemed a mess though.

Chloe started ripping at the blanket and tied his wound carefully. For the moment they couldn't do much more but wait....

"Miho, how do you feel? Tell me"

Fancy Party

Kanna hesistated, but then gave a little nod. "Y-Yes, please go get him" she said finally. This would mean she'd be forced to tell him about Melanie...But perhaps he had some insight on Melanie's potential powers.

Ugh....Either way this wasn't going to end well.

[...]

"Erin...Nice to meet you" Jason said with a small smile, offering his hand. The girl looked nervous. He then gave a nervous laugh "Heh...I'm actually a tribute's brother...Not very rich either"

Spork Residence

"I-Is Hammah...Is Hammah doing that?" Rose asked, eyes wide as she watched the television. She also felt a sense of dred overcome her....The Enclave was watching this too....Everyone in the nation. Hammah was doomed.

Flashback

Kanna felt horrible for Rica, it was hard to imagine horrible images going through your head 24/7.

"Close your eyes and try to stop thinking, just force yourself to clear your brain" she said, standing in front of him and looking up. "Just try"

KxS' emotions quickly flipped from anger to fear. She has been just a ball of moody since the RP started, huh?

That car had come to life and it hadn't hit her that Hammah might have started that car with awesometastic mind powers.

"HAMMAH!" she screamed. She was afraid he'd get run over by that old car!

Game Center

"Eep!" Shimera squeaked when she noticed the man crawl into the vent. She crawled as quickly as she could to get away, floating just a little to keep from sticking to the metal.

There wasn't very much room to float though, so she had to keep from raising her head, or else it would hit the top of the vent. She was too busy getting away to notice that Cess was coming back.

"My men are always prepared, sir. Morale may have been low, back home. But these men are looking forward to seeing a new enemy. The Crimson Flag with its accompanying bull have been more than a wear down on them."

He pauses. "When do you intend to strike? Any projections?"

Radio Tower

After a walk up the stairs, Three Dog led Nanami over to a chair in front of a mic and console of various buttons and slots for music. Grassi was staring at a number of dials and monitors off to the side. RobCo utilities that survived the ages. Grassi had a love for RobCo and had even heard that the CO was still alive. If so, this Robert House was truly a visionary..

He turned a knob and then looked up. "Alright." He walks over in front of Nanami. "Sit down in the chair. I'll give you the go to. Speak into this." He swings the mic lower. "I'll give you a count..and you just say what you've been feeling for a long time now. We planned a lot of this out, put some radios into the districts..there should be plenty of families ready to listen...but most importantly, the Enclave will hear it."

Three Dog looked up from a monitor. "The Station's now active. We are ready to go-ooo!" He said in a sing-song voice.

Grassi smiled. "It's down to you." He walked over to a switch. "We're on in three..two...one..." The switch was flipped. An old sign lit up partially, reading "ON AIR."

The Arena

Shizuo frowned. Was this a trick? He hated tricks. Pissed him off. He took the hand firmly before letting go very quickly. He walks over to another sign, uprooting it as easily as the first. "Alright. Your move. We going to make camp or what?" He asks.

----

Shipper watched the shadow move in a direction of light. The shadow was large and loomy..the opposite of Aiden's smaller, slender physique. He sighed. Where did Aiden go?

----

Giacomo looked up. He grunted. "Damn.." He dropped Hammah into the ditch and rolled down it following suit, hopefully keeping them both alive. He needed Hammah yet.

Seeing that the boy was coming around, Lavan grinned. Now, it was really only a matter of time, because he knew that his proposition was extremely tempting. To get back at the captors while avoiding the very thing that made these games so hard to watch? It was hard to keep away from it.

However, now he had to answer, and he answered truthfully, honestly and instantly.

"My contingency lies in several facts. Fact number one, Gallic wouldn't do that unless things got completely out of hand. Fact number two, IF he does and decides to blow us up magnificently, I can prevent the detonation of explosives. I already know that he hasn't hidden anything like that in the arena. Believe me, I would know, and I would have found it by now. So unless he COMPLETELY pulled the wool over my eyes, he would have to try and blast us from the outside. That means numerous explosives or a superweapon. And explosives NEVER work on me."

He snickered.

"Other than that, there is no contingency. I came here to mess things up. Sure, it's not exactly fair to the other players, but at least I'll try to keep them alive, which is far more than these games promise. And with all of these resources, anarchy has a lot to work with."

A very confident smirk remained on his face throughout the entire thing. He never seemed to get down or lose the absolutely pervasive cheerfulness surrounding him, and it was almost courageous. It was a strange dichotomy to see, but it somehow worked in this re-haired, insane-sounding boy.

And his plan WAS insane. It didn't have a strategy behind it, it didn't even have a valid end goal. What it WAS, however, was pure anarchy. And even that was somehow a tool for him, somehow something he could use for himself and his own goals.

"But for this, I don't even need contingencies. I just need to survive long enough. I have it in good faith that this time will be different in a lot of ways, and I trust that the other independent groups will act the way I expect them to... If they don't, I have only one other backup plan, but that involves blowing myself up, so that one is a last-ditch option."

He slid to in front of Thunder again, since at some point he started pacing and gesturing animatedly, his expression changing from one to another so quickly that it was kind of disconcerting.

"So, what will you do, boya? Help me, the guy who is the prisoner in this place, or will you attack me, get your ass handed to you, and end up in the morning with a bad hangover and a pair of... Hmm... Maybe I shouldn't use that expression... ANYWAYS! Are you with me or against me?"

Connor was still in quite a lot of pain, and he was shaking a bit. His wound was luckily almost healed, but he felt drained. After he started to calm down a little more, he looked up to Chloe.

“I’m… tired. It’s like my whole body is cold and stiff…”

He paused, looking up to Chloe. “T-Thanks for… saving me.”

[Radio Tower]

Nanami nodded, sitting down and looking over to the microphone. She waited for a moment until they saw the ‘ON AIR” sign lighting up. She took a deep breath, and then she began to speak.

“Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen of the Enclave. This is Nanami Nomura, victor of the 65th Annual Hunger Games. I’m sure you remember me, even if the Enclave would rather you forget. Today, the vicious and mindless bloodspot of the Hunger Games have begun once again…

The fearful fools who control the Enclave once again pit your children together to watch them die… but do not be discouraged! The Enclave has lied about a lot, including the ‘defeat’ of the Rebellion. The truth is we are stronger than we have ever been. Autumn, Crane and ESPECIALLY President Gallic are cowards and liars, and all of them will be dead soon. The Enclave WILL fall, and this WILL be the last Hunger Games.

So enjoy your bloodspot, Mr. President… because when all is said and done, you will be listed among the dead, and the Enclave will fall.”

I can't see what you're imagining
-The Arena-

The Deathclaw roared at Van, being stabbed by the spear, but just seemed angrier now, bringing it's claw up to attack the boy!

Aiden shrieked, fire bursting from her hands in a powerful wave, hitting the Deathclaw, the smell of burnt flesh now coming from the creature as it screamed in pain, limping to the side.

The white haired girl shook, then ran, back into the tunnels. The Deathclaw paused a moment before roaring, ignoring Van and Coral and charging after Aiden...

Galv shook, staring at the dead girl. He had just killed someone...He knew he'd have to, if he was going to keep Melanie alive. But still, he felt a little sick, leaning against a car long dead.

“There might be another...” Galv said carefully to Melanie, “Stay here, keep an eye on the area...I'll go...go check the girl, see if she has any supplies we can use...Do...do you know how to use a bow?”

Hammah was dropped into the ditch, the car coming to a stop and dying as it came to the edge, Hammah's vision still swimming, staring at Giacomo...

“Kxs, run!” Hammah yelled suddenly, picking himself up, “I'll find you later, just go!”

He was pretty sure Giacomo didn't want him dead. If he did, Hammah figured he'd have already bit the dust.

Shakily Hammah held up his fists, stumbling a little to the side, glaring at the Career. Hammah was in no condition to fight...but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try.

“Camp? Too soon,” Maize answered Shirou, shaking her head as she looked around, “Still a lot of life left in the area. We should scout around, look for a good place to hold up, find supplies, food...Don't know about you, but super strength's no good when you're dying of dehydration and hunger.”

Thunder stared at Lavan. Thunder had no parents, no siblings, no girlfriend, no best friend. No one to go back to, out of the Arena. He had no one that the Enclave could be use to threaten with.

Might as well try and disrupt things then.

“Fine then, I'm with you,” Thunder answered, “But keep in mind I doubt Gallic and the Enclave are just relying on explosives to keep us under control.”

He paused, then held up his hand, “And don't underestimate me. My name's Thunder, and if you're stupider then you look, you should know my power is of sound.”

-Legion Territory-

“Hopefully next time we can capture one and ask them a few questions,” Zeke mentioned, slinging his pack back on, “Maybe we could set up a trap...think that might work, Cole?”

-Fancy Party-

Samuel headed back out into the party, before finding Rica and heading towards him.

“Rica...” Samuel said, placing a hand on the usually drunk man's shoulder, “We need to talk...It's important...”

“Oh, you are?” Erin said, looking a little disappointed, then paused. A Tribute's brother...Whoever this person was, he seemed to be in the same situation as Walter had been...

She stared at his hand for a second, as if expecting a knife to suddenly come from the sleeves, then relaxed for a moment, grabbing it tightly and shaking it, not letting go at first.

“S...sorry to hear that...” Erin muttered.

-Spork Residence-

“I don't know...he might be...it might be one of the traps the Enclave sets up in the Arenas...” Agoi answered, “It depends...But the Enclave won't do anything until they're sure...”

-Game Center-

“I know you're in here!” the man said, looking back and forth in the air vent. While Cess was tall, he was very lean, leaner then this man, who was unable to pull himself into the vent. “If you surrender now, you might get off easy!”

Cess was hurrying back towards the closet, but he had to be careful, as more guards were around, and he had to be careful not to let himself be heard or bumped into...

-Rebellion HQ-

“Soon...in a couple days,” Old Man Sensei answered, “We have to be careful getting there, for instance...That will take some time, then coordinating to strike at the same time. I just hope there aren't many deaths in those days...”

-Gallic's Office-

Gallic listened to Nanami's radio announcement, a small smile on his face. He then shook his head, chuckling.

“I'm sure you think that, Ms. Nomura...but next time we meet, I won't make the mistake of letting you live,” Gallic said to himself.

KxS was torn between keeping Hammah safe and doing as he said. Though it seemed Giacomo could have killed them already. He wanted Hammah for something.

She frowned. "No, Hammah! I won't leave you!" she shouted. She was hell-bent on keeping that promise for Jimi.

Shimera was at a good distance away from the man now, but the sound of his voice carried throughout the vents. She stopped for a second to take a breather. She didn't notice him behind her, so she knew he wasn't able to fit through the vent's opening.

She smirked. "Lose some weight and maybe I'll consider it!" she laughed as she went forward once more.

Shipper looked around. Yeah, this place would work. Next to the water? Plenty of food and water to survive off of, assuming the water was clean enough. Ocean water would be bad, but there were sure to be streams nearby.

He moves about quickly, stomping on the ground..raising large pillars of dirt: the basis for his future fort. Why use a dirty, crumbling, possibly trapped building when Shipper could just create his own building out of Earth, the one thing that never let him down?

---

Shizuo's eyes widened. Well, she certainly had a better idea than he. Shizuo knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. "Alright. Lead the way." He hefted the sign across his shoulders and followed Maize.

---

Giacomo got to his own feet, giving a slightly fearful look...but then he smile. "Ha...you don't want to do that." He walked forward.

The Career chuckled. "If I wanted to kill, don't you think I would have? I need you. You help me and I won't kill you. But keep pushing and I'll snap your neck like a dry twig. Seems fair enough?" A crude businessman at best, it was true. "You help with this, and I may just help you back. I'm not that mean a guy, now am I?"

...yes he is.

Rebellion HQ

Hsu nodded. "You know the Enclave defensive better than we do. I expect it isn't going to be as simple as heading straight there and switching off the rigs...surely they're guarded."

Radio Tower

The sign flickered off as a cheery rendition of 'America the Beautiful' played. Grassi clapped Nanami on the back. "Hey, good job. Maybe you should be a regular." He chuckles a bit. "I'm kidding of course, lighten up. Why don't we head back to the HQ and see what Sensei has for us?"

As the short song ended, Three Dog sat in the old chair, flickering on the light above. "Goooood evening folks of the Districts, I am your host Three Dog! Bow wow! While you're subjected to those dreadful games, I'm going to be giving you the news and the grooves to keep your spirits up."

"First up, the Rebellion is back and bigger than ever. That's right, folks. Your loving government, the Enclave, has been lying to you. And they've been lying about a whole lot of other things too. I'm going to spread the truth, no matter how bad it hurts. Now, we've got some music to keep you going. Here's a song by Frank Sinatra, a man I didn't personally know..but still seems like a pretty cool cat. His song reminds us that such moments can only come..once in a Blue Moon."

Melanie gave a little nod, attempting to stay calm and not throw up. "I've been training" she managed quietly, keeping an eye out as the boy went over to check for supplies "Rica said I had been doing pretty good..."

[...]

"Don't mention it, it probably won't happen again" Chloe said, taking the balled up blanket and smoothing it out before laying it over the boy. It wasn't thick but it was made to hold in body heat so it would work just fine for the situation. She then took out a piece of an energy bad and handed it to him. "Here, eat something. It'll keep you awake."

Sarai gave a little breath once she was pretty sure Connor was safe....She could relax...For a moment.

But she needed to focus...Help gather support for Connor....How she was going to do this was still a mystery for her.

Sarai rushed off into the back, trying to find a moment to herself to think...When she heard a voice on the radio where some Peacekeepers were listening in while taking a break...Her eyes widened.

That girl....Nanami...She remembered her year in the games....She served her a bit, though she doubted the champion remembered the likes of her...She wondered where the girl was speaking from. Sarai wondered if she could help.

[...]

Kanna stood stiffly, waiting for Samuel to come back with Rica...She was starting to think this was a bad idea...

[...]

"U-Uh it's okay, i'll be fine" Jason managed, caught off guard by the girl's sudden action. He looked down at her, noticing her face. She looked nervous...Really on edge. "What have you been doing here all night?"

Hopefully she hadn't been in the same situation as Kanna, talking with creepy old men all night to get money and sponsors.

Hammah stared at Giacomo, rubbing some blood off of his own face, wavering.

“F-fine...I'll help you out...But the girl, she gets to go free too. You hurt her and our deal is off,” Hammah said shakily. He just needed to keep them alive long enough for his brother to save them. Then he was certain Jimi could take this guy out...

“Like I know where I'm going?” Maize asked, raising an eyebrow, “This is uncharted territory for both of us.”

She paused, looking around, “You're taller then me. You keep a lookout in the distance. I'll keep look closer to home, alright?”

From the door Shipper had been at, he might have heard a familiar voice, screaming...

Along with a loud roar...

“Alright then...” Galv nodded, getting over to the dead girl. He paused, then began to search her for any supplies...

-Rebellion HQ-

“Most likely...but I'm willing to bet not too heavily guarded. One of the biggest protections of the Games is suppose to be their anonymity of the Arena. Some out of the way place, away from everyone. We happen to know where it is, but the Enclave doesn't know that,” Old Man Sensei said, “And a lot of the security and traps are controlled wirelessly, back at the capitol.”

-Spork Residence-

“I don't think they'll kill him...The Enclave likes to take technopaths alive, for their own use...” Agoi said. He didn't think that was very comforting, but there was no way he could lie to his wife about it, “But they won't do anything prematurely...They want to put on a show...”

He was frowning now, clenching a fist. He wanted to do something...anything, right now.

-Game Center-

The man frowned, pulling back the pulling out his walkie talkie.

“We have a hostile in the vents. Shut them down,” he said.

Shimera would hear noises coming from all around her...Exits to the vent becoming closed. Then a small whirling noise...

Small robots were being deployed into the vents!

“I've been, uhhh...trying to get sponsors...I'm not very good...” Erin said, shaking a little. She was very nervous around people. But she felt better around Jason. He was an older brother. They were always nice people, right?

“I'm not very good...and my Tributes didn't seem to like me very much either...no one does, really...” Erin frowned.

That's usually because they're terrified she'll pull a knife and stab them 37 times in the kidneys.

Hearing Hammah try to make a deal, KxS made her way down the ditch. She wanted to stay close in case Giacomo had different plans.

She had a feeling that this man was pulling them into a trap, but it's either they die now or they find a way out of death later.

It was starting to get really stuffy in there. Shimera stopped to find that all the vents had been locked and...robots?

She nearly jumped when she saw a few of them. But she wasn't dumb and powerless, she knew just how to deal with them. She aimed and fired a small solar-beam at a robot and moved forward. The heat should have been enough to at least melt a some metal and screw up the wiring.

She looked for the nearest closed-up vent. Shimera planned to use her solar beam to melt it and get through.
