-Littlelip Theater- “Come on now John...Don't you recognize me?” the blonde girl asked, “How many wounds of your's did I patch up during the war?” Jenny grinned at Snake, giving him a salute. “I've been looking for you...” -Dockside Warehouse- Aaron followed after Musashi, determined to protect his sister! |

[Littlelip Theater] Snake FROZE. He could list on one hand the number of people who knew his real name. As he stepped forward and got a better look at her, there was no doubting it. She was… “Jenny,” Snake growled in his usual gruff voice. He seemed a little more emo than usual around a love interest, a staple of MGS. “How did you find me?” Snake was in the middle of a secret mission… one he hadn’t even known about until he met Didymus a while ago at the bar. |

Littlelip Theater Didymus paused, leading Gemini and Violet into an isolated room in the theater. "Miss Sunrise...allow me to ask you, how closely do you follow current events?" |

[Littlelip Theater] Gemini crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow to Didymus as the interrogation started off rather mildly. “What kinda person do you take me for, fella? I was in the Sakura Teams. I know how to keep up with what’s going on better than a dog knows to chase a varmint. This about Japan and China?” |

Littlelip Theater Didymus tried to suppress an approving chuckle at Gemini's speech. Her rustic charm is certainly present. What a shame that our encounter is so hostile... "Fair enough, Miss Sunrise, I meant no offense. In large part, yes, this IS about Japan, China, and the goings-on therein, but also around the world. If I may, Miss Sunrise, I'd like to ask YOUR take on the global situation..." With the lawyer, it was one thing. She would perhaps even prefer a more focused, busniesslike approach. But this time, especially because, but not strictly because of the less formal background and personality this one held...perhaps a better strategy was to...be a bit less direct. Have a conversation rather than an interrogation. Maybe even try to make them see his point of view... |

[Littlelip Theater] Gemini raised an eyebrow. She could feel her temper rising as Didymus asked her take on the situation. “My opinion? My opinion is you yuppies down in Washington messed up big time! If all this stuff in Europe and Asia is as bad as y’all say it is, then why disband the Sakura Teams? There ain’t another single unit in all the military that’s got the skills we did! Y’all had a first-rate bronco and traded it in fer a mule!” |

Littlelip Theater Didymus did not respond with anger. Instead, he chuckled. "Fair enough, Miss Sunrise. But I think it's worth pointing out that...the special tasks you performed are still being seen to. Simply...in another manner." Didymus remembered his own time in THAT unit... "Please, you can surely see our side of the issue-the Sakura Teams had ties-indeed, they reported to Tokyo, ultimately. Even IF it was a joint command with the local stations, the officers were always promising Japanese military officers with unquestionable loyalty to the shogunate and the Japanese empire. To entrust such a unit with such sensitive tasks, which would require providing information to and relying on such a potential security risk...please, try to understand it did not appear a wise move. As it stands, I have read numerous reports of how the Tokyo-based "Flower Division", the allegedly most skilled and elite of the teams, has already seen action in those skirmishes against the USSR and full-scale battles against the Chinese in Asia..." "...so please, try to see our side. You can see, can't you, that war is the most likely future? Sure, both sides are playing nice with each other...but if you pay attention, it becomes disappointingly apparent..." "...I HAVE come asking for your help and your cooperation, Miss Sunrise. I understand you have a lot of reasons to be angry with me, or at any rate what I represent...but please try to see my-OUR-side of the issue..." |

Littlelip Theater Violet was writing down the interview as it proceeded. She was also prepared to use [sic] next to any and all things Miss Sunrise may have pronounced. Violet found it odd that a young woman of Asian descent sounded so much like a cowboy; though she didn't question any of it: simply because it wasn't her place. Mushasi's Safehouse What Private Investigator worth his salt didn't know how too pick a lock or two? Spade easily picked the lock after a few minutes of struggling. he shoves the door open and flicks on the lights. No one was within a mile, safe to assume. He fingered his luger in the event someone was behind and slowly entered. |

[Littlelip Theater] ((GW! Gemini is actually from Texas. She’s just obsessed with Samurai. XD)) “Another manner? Yeah right! Lookie here pardner, you disbanded the best you had. Why? ‘Cause ol’ Shiny’s country was acting up? Well big deal! You coulda asked Shiny, he probably would have helped us out! He really liked his time here… and even if ya hadn’t wanted to talk with Shiny, why’d you kick the rest of us out? I’m a dang American! Born and raised in Texas! Y’all saying you don’t trust me? Heck, what about Cherion? She knows more about law and the constitution than anybody I ever met! You sayin’ she’s not trustworthy?” Gemini crossed her arms. “Man, Shiny led us to fight for this country, and y’all just turn your back on all of us. Why in tarnation should I help you? Y’all just up and destroy my hopes and dreams and make it so I can’t serve my country no more, and now you’re asking for my help so you can kill a friend of mine? If you weren’t a dang military man, I’d smack you upside the head!” [Musashi’s Safehouse] As Spade entered the safehouse, he would find a three bedroom apartment. There were several shelves full of books and maps, and a small radio and police scanner. As well as some modest furniture. However, most of what was in the room was superfluous information. The really important stuff, Nanami and Musashi would never write down. ((GW! PM me and we can talk about what Spade can find out!)) |

Littlelip Theater Didymus sighed. "Believe what you wish to, Miss Sunrise, but the fact remains we have the Star Division's duties well in hand. And let me ask you, is it true? How do YOU know that your captain would work with us rather than, you know, the people who RAISED him? Why would he work against the country he was BORN in? That he was raised to be a PARAGON of the values of? Why would he turn on his father, who he was trained to revere as if he were GOD? What makes you so sure, Miss Sunrise? Because the fact remains, and I know that the Sakura Teams were all about love and friendship and all of that, but blood, Miss Sunrise, is thicker than bread and water. Many would think the Japanese of all people know that." "So tell me, if you can...what makes you so confident of your captain's loyalties this side of the Pacific?" Gemini was being...uncoopertive. But perhaps this could work... |

[Littlelip Theater] Gemini jumped up and slammed her fist on the table. “Now listen here you! Don’tchoo you twisting my words all around like a tornado! I didn’t say I knew he would, I said he might. Even if he would have refused, why ban the rest of us? How come my hopes and dreams have to die ‘cause I’m friends with someone?” Gemini shook her head. “The fact remains, you don’t know what he woulda said, because you didn’t give him a chance. Somebody risks his life to protect New York, time and time again, and when the goin’ gets tough, you all just cut him loose without ever talkin’ to him! And then you cut the rest of us loose too? Cause he was our friend? Let me ask you, fancypants, if you found out that one of your friends was working for the Germans, would that mean you should lose your job?” Gemini crossed her arms. “Fact is, y’all just made assumptions. You didn’t even give him – or US – a chance… so tell me why we should help you now? If y’all wanted our help, you shouldn’t have fired us all!” |

Littlelip Theater Didymus remained calm as Gemini spoke. As a Marine, he had been screamed at quite a lot worse than this. "Twist your words, Miss Sunrise? But perhaps it is YOU who are twisting mine, or at least not understanding my point. You accuse us of wanting to kill your captain when I never said anything of the sort. Indeed, if you're right, at least, if what you hope for comes true, and neither nation goes to war, than what harm is there in answering a few simple questions about your captain that will be put into a report which will be in turn put into a file in the War Department's headquarters, never to be employed in a war that never happens?" He paused. "And on the other hand...what if what you hope for does NOT come true? What if he DOES prove the loyal Japanese officer, willing to give it all for his country's imperial ambitions? Say what you will about what the Roosevelt administration has done to you, could you withhold information that would help us stop Japan's expansionist agenda-that could save hundreds of American lives, if not more?" "We broke up the Sakura Team in New York for a variety of reasons, one of which was that you were under the command of a Japanese officer who may have had a conflict of interests. The Star Division worked with, and ultimately reported to, Tokyo. We could not allow someone so deep in the potential enemy's camp a position so close to our people." His expression, which had been professional and even philosophical till now, softened. "Listen...Miss Sunrise, if I had to lose my job because I was friends with someone, or because I served under him, I would be devastated. I would be angry. I would wonder why. But I like to think that I would at least try to understand-if it's what my country asked of me, if it's what they wanted to do to ensure that no conflict of interest manifested-however begrudgingly, I might think I'd try to understand." He paused again. "Listen, Miss Sunrise...I'm sorry for the damage the administration has done to your life, I truly am...and I don't profess to fully grasp your situation...but does that mean that the rest of the nation needs to suffer as well?" |

Littlelip Theater Violet was silent, writing down the words exchanged. Coarse words. There was a lot of tension coming from Gemini's side...it seems like she was placing the blame on Didymus. Didymus was a young man..was he around when this group was disbanded? She somehow doubted it, finding it somehow easier to believe she was accusing him like he was the poster boy of everything federal. And while he had handsome features, to say he'd be on any propaganda seemed odd to her. Mushashi's Safehouse Nothing much mattered. He went through things, checking nooks and crannies. When he HAD to move something, he would place it back just like it was. The only thing that bothered him was the presence of a police scanner, but not even that was illegal. There was nothing much he could prove with these things. He folded his arms..if there was anything worth finding, he wasn't finding it. He contemplated informing the PD; conducting a formal search may bring more answers. And...why was the Japanese Prince here? He wanted answers! He tucks his hat downward, make a quick footnote and heads for the door. He would stakeout and stalk them around for awhile. It seemed to be the only thing he COULD do for now..times like these made him clamber for days when he was a cop...so long ago...when Dawn was alive..he wiped his forehead and shrugged the thought away. |

GRAPPLING HOOK!

Dockside Warehouse "Of course" Kanna said with a smile "How about 7pm tomorrow night, there's a nice Italian place off Broadway i've been meaning to try. I'll bring the men with me. If you're happy with them then we'll add them to the group...If not, we'll just blow the place up. She said that like she was talking about the weather. [...] Laila meanwhile had been listening in, knowing that they were talking about Musashi....And Rica....Her father. She couldn't just let this happen! But at the same time she couldn't just waltz in there...Suddenly the girl jumpped, having heard something that sounded like a loud bang...At first she thought it was a gunshot, but actually it was a car door slamming shut. Laila peeked out the warehouse, catching sight of her siblings and friends. She didn't dare yell out of them, but instead rushed to them... Hospital Melanie frowned, not really liking her husband's idea....But it did make sense....And it could possibly help.... "I don't know...Do you think she'd help us?" she asked, as the two headed back to the room. Melanie, entered...And couldn't help but to smile. Joyce and Blake were asleep on the bed, looking adorable...She wished she could take a photograph of this, but alas...digital cameras don't exist in this day and age. |

[Dockside Warehouse] Red Skull nodded curtly, a grin on his skinless face. “Excellent idea. I will be at the restaurant promptly at 7. In disguise, of course.” He knew better than to wander the streets of New York with his skeleton head. It raised attention. “Oh… one more thing, Kanna. If the men do not meet my standards… I assume killing them will not be a problem for you, will it?” […] As Musashi was heading towards the docks, looking for some sign of Laila, he suddenly caught sight of her rushing out towards him. He ran over to her, and grinned. “Laila! Are you okay? What happened?” [Littlelip Theater] “Yer lying. Either to me or yourself.” Gemini crossed her arms. “If you think you’d just go walk away and not be bothered when you get laid off from all you ever wanted, then yer crazier than a longhorn dropping.” She shook her head. “Look here buddy. Even if you didn’t want us to work for a Japanese officer, you could have transferred us. You could have given us other jobs – but instead you just dropped us all. ‘cides, I ain’t talking about Japan. Look, I love me the Samurai, but I know what’s going on with Shiny’s dad is pretty effed up right now.” She crossed her arms once more. “At the same time, I know Shiny, and you don’t. I know he ain’t one to attack America. He came here for a reason, and y’all won’t even talk to him. Instead you send him away and keep working on learning how we can fight him. The only person in the Japanese military I can help you beat with what I know is Shiny – and he’ willing to talk to you. He’s here wanting to help us. And y’all don’t even care.” |
