New York City

-Hawkins' House-

“Of course he does. He's an adorable nephew of our's, I'm sure he has to beat the girls away with a stick,” Erin said, nodding her head.

He's only like ten, Erin.

Blake looked to Samara, “That's Uncle Jason, he's momma's brother. He's nice too, don't worry.”

“The actions of our parents keep affecting us. I hope that nothing I've done will come back to haunt our kids...” Galv sighed softly, pulling away from Melanie, keeping a hand on her shoulder though.

“I know Walter well enough though. He even helped me back during the whole thing with Gallic in the past. I know he'd do whatever he could to keep his sister and niece safe, but he's not stupid enough to think the Nazis will keep their word,” Galv added, “I think we can trust him, more or less...”

-Ethan's Safe House-

A knock on the door, and Ethan got up, heading back upstairs. A few moments later he returned down into the wine cellar, Samuel following behind him.

“Well it looks like all four of us are here,” Ethan said, “Let's talk about how we're going to handle these Nazis...”

Paris

-Notre Dame-

“You go on ahead,” Aaron said to Didymus, “I don't want to be a third wheel, after all.”

He gave a Didymus a small smile when Alice wasn't looking, tapping his nose, then turned to Erica and Aiden.

“And I hope to see you lovely ladies tomorrow as well,” he added, “For now, I'm going to look for my sisters, make sure they're staying out of trouble.”

Notre Dame

“I don't want to be a third wheel, after all.”

Didymus raised an eyebrow.

"A third wheel? Actually, the way things may seem to work out, it may be best if we stuck together if and when some kind of dangerous situation manifests, but I did give away the evening more or less, so...if you insist...besides, I suppose trying to make sure your sisters aren't in trouble, if indeed you're so inclined, may not be a bad idea...so you're welcome to come along with me if you'd like, otherwise, have a good evening."

He was ready to move when Alice was.

Warehouse

The guard on the right was hit, and seemed to slump over, though still alive. The guard on the left was also hit, though it seemed that the heavy gear he was wearing softened the blow at least, and he remained standing...the man in the center simply...well, phased. It appeared one moment he was in the path of the bullets, the next he wasn't, but was just out of their path.

He shook his head.

"Don't you see why you shouldn't get involved...?" he asked, unamused, almost...disappointed...as the guard still standing raised his weapon and fired!

“I'm sure I'll be fine, and so will you,” Aaron said, “You have a good evening as well.”

He grinned again at Didymus, not knowing that the other guy didn't seem to know what Aaron was talking about, and headed out, trying to use his Brother Senses to find his sisters.

Back in the church, Aiden looked over to Didymus and Alice, stepping forward.

“May I come along? I wish to help as well, and I would like to get to know my potential allies in this endeavor!” Aiden inquired, smiling.

[Paris]

[Chloe’s Tavern]

Chloe dropped a bombshell; Nazi spies were known to frequent her bar late at night. This was exciting news for Musashi… if they could capture a few Nazi spies, the Americans might be very grateful. It might prove to them that Musashi’s intentions were good.

“Chloe, thank you. This information will help a lot. Laila and I are going to be here tonight when they show up.”

Musashi gave a smile.

[Streets]

Oliver nodded. He knew they needed to get this to the authorities, but he didn’t know which ones would be best. He was an officer in the Royal Air Force, so Oliver would have preferred the intel get back to the Brits… but if that wasn’t possible, the Americans were the next best choice.

Adrianna wanted to get it to Musashi and Nanami, though, and while Oliver was a little hesitant, he decided that would be good for now.

“Alright. Any idea where those two might have gone?” He asked, meaning Musashi and Laila.

[Notre Dame]

Alice nodded.

“Yes, I suppose you can come along. We have been looking for new allies… our current numbers are not where I’d like them.”

That was the diplomatic way of saying her team was far too small to be useful.

[Warehouse]

Snake quickly jumped behind a stack of boxes, using them for cover for a moment as he reloaded his pistol.

"Don't you see why you shouldn't get involved...?"

Snake just grunted in response. He reached into his satchel on his back and pulled out a frag grenade.

“I’ve seen worse.” Snake replied, shaking his head. He got as close to the corner as he dared, and then tossed the grenade towards the gunmen!

US Embassy

"I'll be sure not to bring the salad, then," Marco gave a little laugh, with a wink.

"But I'll be good anyways!"

Marco certainly wasn't going to be scared off, and the possibility of a big scoop set off his investigative photographer senses, as well. If he could end up getting a good picture or two of something big... That could really change things, hopefully for the better...

[US Embassy]

Nanami nodded, with the slightest hint of a smile on her face as they quickly exited the Embassy. She wanted to be get going before any of the others showed up. She didn’t want to drag Musashi off into extra danger (although she was sure he could manage to find danger on his own); and she didn’t want to share this tip with Didymus yet.

She still couldn’t bring herself to fully trust the Americans. Marco had won her over more than she would admit because of what happened in New York. Didymus and Snake were a very different story… she didn’t know them very well, and they were agents of the US Government. It didn’t matter if Musashi was working with them for now, their top priority would always be the mission – as it should be – but Nanami’s mission was protecting Musashi.

She hurried towards the car, and soon they were off towards the address…

[Lofts]

The address was a high-rise loft near the warehouse district. Unknown to them, Marco and Nanami were only a few blocks away from where Snake was fighting the Thule Society.

As the car stopped, and Nanami got out, she looked up at the loft in front of them.

“This is the place. Keep your eyes peeled.” Nanami told Marco.

Lofts

"You'll have to be my translator, if someone shows up asking for a cup of flour," Marco commented as he popped out of the car, remembering how Nanami was able to happily converse with the lady assassin earlier. "...or if WE end up being the ones asking for the cup of flour."

He looked around a bit, as well, taking note how they were near the warehouse district... ...something that was much like where most of their group had found and had to deal with a bunch of lovely German people trying to kill them, and especially the Prince. If Marco ever ended up becoming a security adviser to anyone or anywhere, warehouses and the areas around them DEFINITELY were going to become a priority to secure...

But if this place had information like that one in New York did, it probably would be rigged to be disposed of quickly, just like that New York warehouse. It might be more heavily trapped, being a loft, instead of a warehouse, or just occupied by a very unfriendly person/people.

Marco made sure he was ready to use stuff from his briefcase, if he needed to.

"I guess...we're ready then?" Didymus asked.

Warehouse district

The man with the pistol raised his hand-and the grenade stopped in mid-air, and flew back towards Snake!

"Worse?" he asked, and shook his head. "Not likely. If so, there's a problem..." he added.

“Shouldn’t be a problem; I’m fluent in the ten most common languages in Europe, and can conduct at least basic conversations in the rest.” Nanami explained, saying this as if it were a normal thing.

She glanced around the building, looking for any entrances besides the front door. She hated to simply walk through the front door – it was just asking for an ambush.

“I’m using the window.” Nanami announced, and she walked over towards a window on the side of the loft. She reached for it, but suddenly stopped.

There was an enormous hornet on the window ceil. It looked nearly three times larger than an average hornet.

“… I don’t like this one bit.”

Nanami’s eyes narrowed.

[Alice’s Safehouse]

Alice soon exited the Notre Dame, and led Didymus, Aiden and anyone else who was coming with them down a few streets. They walked for nearly a mile. Alice was quiet, walking briskly and constantly looking around.

Soon they arrived at what appeared to be a run-down apartment complex. The doors and windows were barred up, and there were a few holes in the walls… and a very close inspection would reveal that there were rifle barrels sticking out of those holes.

Alice walked up to the door and knocked.

“What’s the password?”

“Pumpkin Scissors.” Alice replied. There was the sound of locks being undone, and then the door opened.

There was an enormous man with a scar on his face standing on the other side of the door; and he held an enormous revolver.

“Who are they?” He asked, looking to Didymus and Aiden.

“Friends. Americans. They’re okay, Randal. You can holster the weapon.” Alice said.

The large man hesitated, and then put the gun away. “Okay.”

[Warehouse]

Snake’s eyes widened. He saw the grenade coming and he quickly fired, blowing it up in mid-air. The explosion sent shrapnel in every direction and Snake felt a few nasty cuts hit his face, but he was able to block most of it with his arm guards.

“You’d be surprised.” Snake growled. It was apparent that long-rang attacks would not work well against the main guy. He fired a few shots at the other two, hoping to take them down so he could use his CQC on the lead guy.

Alice's safehouse

Didymus was equally wary as Alice took them to her safehouse. He eyed the area they were led to, seeming to take note of the features that Alice had put in for security-the guns in the holes in the wall, for example, as if familiar with this sort of thing...

He did not speak out loud as Alice talked with the large man, simply kept close to her...but remained wary.

Warehouse

“You’d be surprised.”

The man was still seemingly calm through all this, and spoke.

"I should hope not." he said.

One of the guards fired back at Snake, bursts of short automatic fire, the other slumped over...and began to swell...

GRAPPLING HOOK!

New York City

“Of course he does. He's an adorable nephew of our's, I'm sure he has to beat the girls away with a stick,”

Jason blinked, looking to Erin "You do know she's only a kid right?" he asked "Though I am glad he has friends. He always seemed so quiet."

Though if Jason knew she was just a shadow child created by Blake's mind he probably wouldn't be so glad.

[...]

"Are you sure?" Samara asked, "He's warm....I can feel it. Even warmer than your papa and sister...I don't think I like it"

[...]

"Alright, if you trust him then I do too" Melanie said, glancing down at her slightly protruding stomach. It was barely anything at all, but she knew by the time she was large enough to be noticeable the world would be a lot more dangerous.

Ethan's Safe House

Kanna looked around the wine cellar with mild interest, pulling a few bottles of aged wine before turning back to the men and sitting down on a large barrel. "I suppose we should" she said with a shrug, looking around for a few stray glasses.

OSS Office

Luckily they didn't have far to travel to get to Broadway, the girl knowing the way with relative ease. She and Sama were soon in front f some rather nice appartments, probably paid for by all of Fisk's totally-not-working-with-Nazis-money. She looked over to Sama, biting her lip a bit. "So think we should just walk in the front door?"

She knew how much luck they had with that method.

Paris

Chloe’s Tavern

"Sounds like a plan. Come a bit early, i'm sure you'd enjoy the show too" Chloe said with a grin. She always had fun late at night at the tavern.

Laila rolled her eyes, tugging on Musashi's arm "Think we should bring the others too? You know, as backup"

Streets

"Laila and Musashi wanted to look around the city" Adrianna said, refusing to aknowledge it as a date between the two. "I assume that means they've gotten into some trouble. I don't picture either of them wanted to see the Louvre or something....As for Aaron....I'm not exactly sure..."

[New York City]

[Fisk’s Apartment]

Sama pulled his revolver from his coat and let out a small sigh. He had been thinking about how they should approach this the whole way to Broadway.

“Well… after he tried to kill us, and we all almost got set on fire, I doubt he’s going to waste time with questions if we try to just walk in.” Sama said, scratching his neck. “So this time I’ve got a better idea.”

“I’m going to go in through the window. You wait out here, and when you hear a commotion, go in through the door and get the jump on ‘em.” Sama suggested.

[Paris]

[Chloe’s Tavern]

Musashi nodded and gave a smile. Then he turned to Laila as she suggested bringing the others.

“Yeah, we should. We could definitely use some help… who knows how many people the spies might bring with them.”

[Streets]

Oliver frowned. He didn’t know Paris well, although he had been here a few times before. If they had been in London he would have had several ideas on how to look for them, but here he was out of his element.

“Well… we had better start looking somewhere.”

[Alice’s Safehouse]

Alice led them to a smaller room where there were several comfortable chairs and a roaring fireplace. She sat down on the opposite side of the room and looked over at the Americans.

“Alright. We’re here. This building is 100% secure. No one comes in without permission, and we sweep for bugs every two hours.” Alice announced. “There’s nowhere safer in Paris. So let’s get down to business.”

[Warehouse]

Snake had to jump back behind the crates as the automatic fire started. Snake was an incredible warrior, but he wasn’t bulletproof. He grabbed a smoke grenade from his belt and tossed it… near his own feet.

He had seen that throwing grenades at the enemy hadn’t worked well, so he’d used a smoke grenade to create enough cover that he could get to a better vantage point!

-Alice's Safe House-

Aiden followed Alice and Didymus, grinning that she had met some potential friends, and would soon be doing something to help others.

When Alice introduced them, Aiden smiled and waved towards the large man with a scar and gun.

“Hello sir, my name is Aiden!” Aiden said, nodding to the man, “It's very nice to meet you!”

-Streets-

Aaron was on the streets now himself wandering around and trying to find one of his sisters. I'm not really sure which group he should run into. XDX

New York City

-Hawkins' House-

“Well, I'm sure he will in a few years,” Erin said, after a moment of thought, “He's a very polite boy too. Wouldn't it be great to have a son too, dear?”

Erin still wants that other kid.

Blake nodded, “He is. Uncle Jason is very nice. Sometimes he'll bring me comics, too.”

Blake liked Uncle Jason and Aunt Erin. They didn't seem odd to him, but then again, odd for anyone related to his family is normal.

Galv nodded, reaching down and feeling his wife's stomach for a moment, smiling a little as he leaned in and placed his forehead against Melanie's.

“I swear, this child will grow up safe,” Galv said softly, “I'll make sure of that...”

"Do I detect a bit of pride behind that statement?" Marco commented, mostly to himself, followed by a slight muffled chuckle.

He then followed Nanami, also deciding that marching through the front door was a good way to not be alive tomorrow.

But then Nanami noticed the giant hornet on the window sill, which Marco also noticed.

"...that does not look natural..." he said quietly to Nanami, trying to peer over her shoulder.

"I thought the bugs were just supposed to be giant sized only in like Australia or Hawaii..."

[Lofts]

Nanami did not respond to Marco’s first comment. In truth, she was proud of her abilities – it had taken constant training since she was just a child to learn all of the things she knew. Still, she wasn’t one to brag.

And right now, she had a bigger concern. The hornet was incredibly big… and while she knew nothing of entomology, Nanami was quite sure that bugs of THAT size were incredibly rare.

“Actually, I’ve seen some this sized back in Japan. Their stings are quite painful, but not that dangerous unless you’re allergic.”

A moment later, another large hornet appeared… and then another… and then several more.

“… This isn’t going to be fun.” Nanami sighed.

[Alice’s Safe House]

Randal looked over to Aiden and nodded to her.

“Hello… I’m Randal Orland.”

Alice nodded a bit as well, motioning to Randal. “This is Randal. He’s part of my team. A former weapon’s specialist.”
