Paris Shady French Bar “I apologize for causing trouble… but you need to face facts; the Nazis are going to cause a lot more trouble than I ever could. You won’t have any patrons at all if the Germans invade and kill everyone.” Musashi then handed the young woman several bills, which she took with a frown. "Thanks..." she said, stuffing the money in the top of her bustier (she had no pockets) and giving a sigh "And...I know your right. But right now i'm just trying to focus on the present. Gotta save up in case ol' Paris is blown to the ground by crazy Germans. I'm Chloe by the way" Chloe extended her hand. "What's a guy like you doing in a city like this? I'm pretty sure you're not from around here" Laila raised a brow, grabbing Musashi's arm. "We're taking in the sights. My boyfriend and I. What's a girl like you owning a place like this? You hardly look Parisian either." Chloe smirked "I'm not. My pape bought this place like fifteen years ago, before that we were....Lets just say travelers" "So you are a Gypsy" Chloe shrugged "We don't like that word but yeah." Streets Adrianna looked to Oliver, showing him the paper...."That guy..." she pointed at the dead guy "Gave me this..." NYC Crystal gave a nod, heading out with Sama "Broadway isn't too far away..." she said, obviously a bit worried. She had a feeling the two looked like idiots in front of Donovan. Hawkins' House Samara looked down at the crayons when Blake told her she should try drawing him...She instantly reached for an orange crayon, the one color she associated with Blake. She carefully tried to make a line, her hand shaking. She was obviously thinking too hard about it. [...] "I'll keep it in mind" Jason said, following Galv down the stairs and back to his own child. Solanna looked up at Jason. "You okay dad?" she asked, coming over and pushing some stray curls out of her face. |

Paris Streets "You tell her, Nanami!" was Marco's only response to the dialogue that occurred. He didn't really know much German, just enough to know that Nanami and this woman were yelling at each other in German, and that this woman didn't seem very cooperative. There wasn't really much else he could do, without actually knowing what was going on. |

[Paris] [Shady French Bar] Musashi’s eyes widened slightly. “You’re Romani? Nanami and I stayed with a group of Romani for about a week when we were crossing Europe before, over in Austria. It was a fun time.” Musashi said, thinking back on the memory with a slight smile. He knew he couldn’t actually introduce himself to Chloe… after all, he had to keep a low profile. “I’m Musashi, and this is Laila. We’re just passing through.” He said, and it was partially true. Though he started to wonder… this Chloe… she ran a bar, and she was Romani… it was possible she had connections and information. Maybe she could be useful to the mission? [Streets] Oliver frowned, looking over the paper Adrianna showed him. It seemed to be nonsense. The paper was written in gibberish. “… I don’t think any of this makes sense… but maybe it’s a code? If someone killed this guy, maybe he’s important… a spy or something!” Oliver gasped. “I’ve heard MI5 uses codes for important messages…” […] Nanami decided she had had enough of all of this, and knocked the redheaded woman out with a strike to the side of her head. Then she turned to Marco. “We need to get her back to the US Embassy, and quickly, before the French authorities show up. She’s a HYDRA operative… the same people who tried to kill the American President. You carry her.” [Notre Dame] “Then it’s settled.” Alice decided, crossing her arms. “We should hurry and talk to the authorities. I assume you have some impressive contacts, Mr. American?” Alice was shrewd. She knew that the US would not have dispatched people to France to investigate the Sakura Team without having some serious contacts in the French Intelligence Services. She herself had a few contacts in France – the Malvin name still carried some weight – but she had a feeling it would be faster to go through Didymus’ channels. [Warehouse District] Snake frowned. Between the well-armed and armored guard, and the sounds of struggle in the next room, he was quite sure that whatever was going on was very secret… he knew there would be no talking his way out of things this time. Snake quickly searched for any alternative way into the room the man was guarding; as a stealth expert, Snake always preferred to take the path of least resistance when it was a viable option. ((Your choice if he finds a easier way inside, or if he has to fight, Vidit.)) [New York City] [OSS Office] Sama was a little worried too… Bill Donovan was an important man, and could probably have him arrested (or killed) if he wanted to. So Sama would have to be on his best behavior. “Let’s get going…” He said to Crystal. [Broadway] -Fifteen Minutes Later- Soon, Crystal and Sama would arrive via unmarked OSS car onto Broadway. Sama quickly slipped out and looked around. They were just down the block from the apartment Fisk was supposed to be using. “Okay… how do you want to play this? We could split up, one of us go through the front and one of us through the back… but that’s risky. Or we could both just go from one direction, but that gives Fisk a way to run…” |

Paris Streets "..." It seemed as though Nanami overestimated Marco's physical strength just a little bit. Marco was someone who relied on his speed and agility, if he had to fight with someone, not really his physical strength. His arms were already screaming at him a bit from using that briefcase grappling hook earlier for more than just himself. "Yes, boss!" Marco was going to have to work on finding a way to turn his briefcase into a little wagon, later... ...and also, there was no way that this wasn't going to look awkward. Though at least in this back alley, there were a few cars parked back there. "You think we could borrow one of these cars for that?" he then asked Nanami. |

[Paris Streets] Nanami hadn’t really stopped to consider that maybe Marco wasn’t physically strong enough to haul a unconscious, half-frozen Nazi woman around the streets of Paris. Thanks to her having to serve as Musashi’s bodyguard, Nanami had often trained herself to carry even a full grown man around for miles… since Musashi had a habit of getting badly injured and needing to be carried around. “If you can hotwire one of these cars – quickly --, we can take one. Otherwise, we need to get moving.” |

Paris Streets "I can do one better," Marco answered Nanami, before spinning his briefcase in front of him. He then fiddled a little with the handle of it, before something popped out, that he was able to fold into the shape of a crank starter, which he then used to start one of the cars parked back there. Once the engine was running, he got started loading the KO-ed and half-frozen HYDRA lady into the back seat. Once she was loaded up, and both Nanami and himself were in the car, he slammed on the gas... and slowly rolled off. "...Damnit I hate French cars..." he mumbled to himself, as he started off. |

[Paris Streets] Nanami raised an eyebrow as Marco started the car with a crank. She wasn’t very knowledgeable of cars, but she was willing to go along with things if it meant their getting back to the US Embassy with the prisoner in toe. Once inside, however, Nanami found herself annoyed – again. “This is as fast as it goes? I can run faster than this.” Nanami commented, crossing her arms. She glanced over to the back seat periodically, to make sure the HYDRA woman was still back there. She sighed for a moment and leaned back in the seat. “… Doesn’t matter. As long as we get to the Embassy before the French authorities find us. I’m not about to turn over our prisoner.” If Nanami had any clue who the woman they captured was… she might have rather let someone else deal with the headache. |

Paris Streets "They should hopefully be more concerned with the crashed taxi and shot driver, I'd think," Marco answered Nanami's concerns, as he navigated through the city on the way to the embassy. He did agree with her sentiment, though. It wouldn't be fun trying to explain why a KOed and half-frozen in ice lady was in the back seat... especially in a car that wasn't their own, and especially especially when Marco himself didn't know much French. Eventually, they made it to the embassy, though, with Marco driving right up to the front gate. "Even in English, this may not be all that fun to try and explain..." Marco then thought aloud, upon their arrival. |

Notre Dame “We should hurry and talk to the authorities. I assume you have some impressive contacts, Mr. American?” "Impressive may not be the right word, madam, but I do have some superiors to report to, yes...mostly American. Need-to-know and all that." "I don't know what I could tell them apart from what they already know, save for, perhaps, that we'll be here most of tomorrow and what's going on in general, though, again, I'm pretty sure they already know..." he said. Warehouse Snake would notice the guard was attempting to be vigilant, but by necessity would look away into the warehouse itself as a chain, or a bolt of something, or even something on fire, would streak by... So there was an opening... |

[Notre Dame] “I should hope they know, but they may not know what you’re doing, or that we’re available to be additional security.” Alice shrugged. “… but I’m going to protect the Lance one way or another, to be perfectly frank. I’d love to have some help, but I won’t let the Nazis make a mockery out of the Lance or Paris.” [Warehouse] Snake noticed the pattern very quickly. As a master of CQC, Snake was pretty sure he could take this guy down quickly. So he waited for his chance, keeping his breathing quiet and his fingers loose. When the guard was looking in the opposite direction as Snake; he rushed forward and immediately threw his arm around the guard’s neck, clenching down hard. With his free hand he moved to deliver a powerful punch to the side of the man’s head to try to knock him out. [US Embassy] Nanami quickly stepped out of the car and approached the guard at the gate. She handed him a paper that had been given to her early, which showed she had access to the Embassy grounds. “Is that… a frozen woman in the car?” The guard asked skeptically. “She’s a captured nazi. Now get out of our way so we can get her secured and interrogated.” Nanami explained. The guard seemed skeptical… but Nanami had the proper paperwork, so he opened the gate. |

Notre Dame “… but I’m going to protect the Lance one way or another, to be perfectly frank. I’d love to have some help, but I won’t let the Nazis make a mockery out of the Lance or Paris.” Didymus nodded. "I'm confident that once I explain the situation to them, my superiors will be more than happy to allow me to pitch in. All things considered..." With Erica guarding it, this could be a chance to get to know her, gain her trust, as well...he could guard a relic AND make steps toward the Sakura Team assignment both at once, perhaps... Warehouse The guard struggled with Snake, attempting to pry him off. His thick armor made getting a good grip on his neck more difficult than usual, and his mask and helmet cushioned the blow Snake delivered to his head... ...still, he was staggered, and threw himself toward the ledge of the window overlooking the warehouse proper, half (as he was somewhat disoriented by Snake's blow) trying to throw him off-and down into the warehouse... Snake would have had a view of the warehouse room, as something that sounded like a deep breath from something BIG was heard, and suddenly, some other orders in German... Looking over the warehouse, Snake would have seen a massive beast, an anagram of mismatched flesh, chained in the center, with guards attempting to hold it in place with MASSIVE chains! A strange ball of blackness drifted up towards Snake, and floated there...as if something was watching him...reaching out and into him, even? Trying to at least... |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
New York City -Hawkins' House- Blake stepped forward towards Samara, placing his hand on her's. “Don't worry about making it look realistic...” the boy said, “Just draw. It doesn't matter what it looks like. It only matters if you like it.” Erin smiled as Jason returned, moving towards her husband as well. “You do look a little flushed...” Erin said, frowning now as she studied her husband. Galv paused, looking towards Blake and Samara, frowning slightly, then shook his head. At the very least, it looked like Blake would be a good brother for his impeding younger sibling. He then walked into the kitchen, wear Melanie was getting tea ready. “Melanie, we need to talk,” Galv said quietly, “It's important...” He needed to tell her about Walter too, after all. Paris -Notre Dame- “Maybe a show of force with security will be able to stop the Germans from even trying...” Aaron said, then paused, looking over at the group. Three cute girls, a shrimp (him), and Didymus. Out of all of them, Didymus was probably the only one who could intimidate on sight alone. Though Aaron had never seen Didymus attempt to project menace. He had no reason to yet, after all. “Most of us here don't really look like a force to be reckoned with...” Aaron frowned. Of course, he had his abilities, Erica was a former member of a top notch military team, Didymus had his own military training and could undoubtedly handle himself in a fight...And Alice, while Aaron didn't know any specifics, had managed to get out of Germany and into Paris, and seemed to be doing okay. She could handle herself as well, it seemed... Though this new girl, Aiden...five foot nothing, and a strange appearance, with her white hair, tanned skin and red eyes... Her father had been fairly intimidating, so it was quite possible she had never needed to handle herself in a fight... “It might be dangerous, you know,” Aaron said, turning to Aiden, “We do appreciate the help, but we don't want you getting hurt.” “Oh, it's okay!” Aiden smiled, then looked around, stepping closer to Aaron, Alice, and Didymus, “If things get bad, I can do this.” Aiden held out her hand...where a small flame appeared in her palm. “Except bigger, of course,” Aiden whispered quietly, then put the flame out. “...Well...huh...” Aaron muttered. |

[Paris] [Notre Dame] “Well, I’m going to go call on a few friends of mine.” Alice announced. “No offense, but we’ll need larger numbers if we’re going to provide an effective guard.” She paused, turning to Didymus. “Tell me… how can I contact you? The US Embassy?” [Warehouse] Snake’s eyes widened as he saw the beast that was being chained to the floor. Whatever that horrible creature was, Snake had a feeling it was a serious threat. The same went for the odd orb of blackness that seemed to be watching him. … but at the moment, Snake’s main concern was taking down the guard he struggled with quickly and quietly. Snake probably could have broken the man’s neck using his body weight; but he needed to do his best to take these guys in non-lethally. Dead men couldn’t talk. Snake continued to pound away at the man’s helmet as hard as he could. He wanted to try to knock him out. |

Notre Dame Didymus nodded. "We probably will, but I imagine that a number of guards have been hired already..." he said. "At least a few. I'm confident that they didn't intend to leave the Spear unguarded in the first place, though our presence will hopefully help...as for contacting me...yes, the Embassy should work...how can I, should I need to, contact YOU, madam?" Warehouse The guard Snake pounded on kept thrashing, though the blows were taking their toll...the strange black orb simply, slowly, drifted closer and closer... |

[Notre Dame] Alice took a slip of paper from her pocket and wrote down and address and a phone number, and handed it to Didymus. “This is where I’ll be. Though, a warning, don’t drop by unannounced. Make sure you call first. We take security very seriously.” Alice informed him. She then turned and headed out, her hands in her pockets. [Warehouse] Snake struggled with the guard, but it was hard to keep a hold of him with one arm while he was thrashing so hard. The guard’s struggle ended up knocking Snake away. He hit the ground and rolled several feet away with a groan. It made a lot of noise. Snake had a feeling that between the weird orb, the now free guard and the noise that had been made; stealth had just gone up in smoke. So he whipped out his pistol, took aim, and fired four times. Two shots at the guard’s left foot, and two shots at his right foot. Snake’s reasoned that his boots probably weren’t able to stop a bullet, and even if the guard was fast, he probably couldn’t evade all four shots especially after having struggled; and there was a low chance he would die from gunshot wounds to his feet, but a very high chance he would be unable to run or fight. |
