New York City Shipping Warehouse Crystal kept a straight face as she looked to Wilson Fisk. He was a VERY intimidating figure, so much so that she had to stop herself from trembling slightly. "Mister Fisk...We'd like to ask you a few questions regarding something that may have been stolen from you..." She said carefully. They weren't really in the position to make sudden accusations. Streets "Your momma is kinda scary" Samara mumbled as the two headed out of the house and onto the sidewalk. All the while the little girl kept looking over her shoulder and tightening her grip on Blake's hand. "She wants to make me go away" “Just be calm,” Blake said quietly, “We should be fine...We'll just go to the newsstand down the street and get the new comic, and head home.” Samara frowned, but gave a nod doing as she was told and calming down....Despite a strange feeling that was coming over her. "Are you sure I should be calm...Something seems off..." Narroh Residence "Uhhhh how about we just bring some flowers" Solanna said quickly, not wanting the whole house to go up in flames in about five minutes. "I'm sure Melanie would be just as grateful" Airfield "I'd like to see you try!" Kanna exclaimed as Red Skull came at her with a murderous exclamation. The woman straightened up, rushing at him now and throwing several balls of burning hot, bright energy at him! Paris Streets "Eh, rich or poor i''m pretty glad I met you" Laila said with a smile, slinking her arm around him. "You're a pretty one of a kind boyfriend you know. Definitely not like those American boys I usually hang out with" [...] "A museum? That sounds interesting" Adrianna said with a slight grin. Unlike her sister, Adrianna really loved to learn and study. Museums were just her cup of tea. |

[Paris] [Deuxième Bureau HQ] Quentin kissed Jenny’s hand, because he is French and can get away with it. Snake simply crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow to his old friend, who chuckled and leaned back into his chair. “To what do I owe the unexpected surprise, Jack?” Quentin asked. “The Sakura Team.” Snake replied. “Our Ambassador already shared the information your government shared with him… but we both know that your government is holding back. And as Deputy Director of the Deuxième Bureau, you have access to what they didn’t share.” Quentin’s smile suddenly faded. “… I had a bad feeling that is why you were here.” Quentin lit a cigarette, and then offered one to Snake. Snake accepted, sticking the cigarette under his tongue. “… It was unfair of her to send you, Jack. I already told her I couldn’t divulge what I knew about the Sakura Team.” Quentin sighed at length. Snake was confused. “Her? I’m working with a Marine under the command of General Solomon.” Quentin tilted his head, and looked completely confused. “What? Then… oh… I just assumed you were working for her. The timing is tres coincidental…” “Whose this her you’re referring to, Quentin?” Snake asked. “Well… The Boss, of course.” Quentin replied as if it was the most obvious answer ever. The change on Snake’s face was immediate and stark. The color drained from his cheeks, and his eyes widened considerably. Sweat appeared on his brow, and Snake the legendary soldier looked rattled to the core. “The Boss!? What are you talking about? You spoke to her?” Quentin nodded. “Yes… she was standing in the same spot you are just yesterday, asking about the Sakura Team.” Snake looked as if he might have just suffered a heart attack. His mouth fell open and the cigarette fell out, hitting Quentin’s desk. “I… Jack, I just assumed you were with her…” Quentin noticed the shock on his old friend’s face. “I’m sorry, I mean…” “No… I haven’t spoken to The Boss since 1933… no one has. She’s left DC five years ago, and no one has heard from her since.” Snake explained. “Quentin, she’s here? In Paris?” Quentin shook his head. “Yes. At least, she was yesterday. She wanted the Sakura Team information, but I could not give it to her. She did give me an address, though, in case I changed my mind and needed to find her.” Snake stuck out his hand. “I need that address, Quentin. Now.” Quentin nodded, and fished a piece of paper out from his desk, handing it to Snake. “Of course…” Snake turned and headed out of the room. He didn’t say a word to Quentin or Jenny… it was almost like he was in a trance, entirely focused on only one thing… The Boss. [Streets] The woman turned to the new arrival and put her hands on her hips. “I AM qualified to speak of such things, because I have lived through them. This man spews the same vile lies that have infected my country. He is deceived, as are many of my own countrymen. I have seen things firsthand, I have viewed the malicious intent in Adolf Hitler’s eyes standing no further from him as I do now from you.” She crossed her arms. “I have watched my country be taken in by a sociopathic conman… I will not stand idly by while this man pollutes the streets of Paris with the same vile filth that has infected my beloved Berlin.” [...] Musashi grinned to Laila, taking her arm as the two turned another corner. “Well… I’m glad I met you. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone like you before.” Musashi said, and he was fairly certain that was true. “All of the girls I’ve worked with before have been kinda weird.” He was referring to the Sakura Team… though Laila was pretty weird herself. “I just hope that… well…” Musashi paused. “I mean, back in New York… your parents did try to kill me… and I’m sure my dad would kill you if he knew about you… so I just hope we’re not going to end up in all kinds of trouble.” You will. [The Louvre] Oliver soon dragged Adrianna along to the most famous museum in all of France. He quickly paid for their tickets, and once they were inside he turned to her. “I’m glad you agreed to come. I was a bit afraid this might be too boring for you.” [New York City] [Airfield] Red Skull had undergone a secret experiment, the same one that transformed wimpy Steve Rogers into Captain America. He was fast and agile enough to dodge Kanna’s balls of white-hot energy and end up directly in front of her, trying to grab her by the throat! [Shipping Warehouse] Fisk looked to Crystal and he just laughed. “Oh? Well that’s very considerate of you… but I haven’t reported any theft. Surely the government has better things to do than to look into a theft case when the owner isn’t concerns, don’t you?” Sama stepped forward. “Not when what was stolen was over a hundred pounds of explosives… and not when those explosives were used in an attempted assassination of the President.” Fisk paused, glaring down to Sama. He looked like he could pick the boy up and crush him if he were so inclined. “… I see. I suppose this is where we banter back and forth, and you try to get me to admit I was involved? Well let’s all save some time… I am a member of HYDRA.” Sama paused. He didn’t like how this was going. “Err… then you’re under arrest for treason.” Sama was fully aware that he and Crystal were unarmed and outnumbered. “Am I?” Fisk asked. Suddenly he reached out, picked up Sama, and tossed him across the room! Edited by GoldenSama, Dec 25 2012, 01:20 AM.

I can't see what you're imagining

New York City -Streets- “It'll be fine...” Blake said, reassuring the girl again. There was a sudden screeching noise, and a car tore past the corner, smashing into the newsstand Blake and Samara were going to, sending comics and papers flying. The car squealed, wheels turning, police sirens behind it as the car kept accelerating, heading straight towards Blake and Samara! -Narroh Residence- Erin pouted, sighing slightly but nodded her head, “Oh, alright. We'll pick her up some flowers from the store down the street. There's a nice young man who works there too, Solanna!” Paris -Deuxième Bureau HQ- Jenny was quiet, frowning a little as Snake absorbed the news...Big Boss...Jenny knew about her, but had never met her face to face... “Thank you for the information,” Jenny said, turning to Quentin, then hurried after Snake. “Jack...I'm coming with you on this,” Jenny said quietly, putting a hand on his shoulder. -Streets- “I see,” the man said, producing a cigarette and holding his hand to it. He paused after the girl next to him gave him a loo, then fumbled for a lighter, flicking it on to light the cigarette. The girl still frowned, but didn't seem quite as bothered for the moment. “So you believe strongly enough that force is the way to get your message across?” the man then continued, “Very well...I wish you luck on that path then.” He glanced around himself, looking at the people around them, “Personally I do not endorse that man's actions either. But when one fights fire with fire, there will always be collateral damage.” The girl beside him sighed, “Dad, you don't have to preach here you know. You just said we'd hand out some flyers...” |

[Paris] [Deuxième Bureau HQ] Snake paused as Jenny touched his shoulder. His entire body was tense, and it was clear that Snake was far more stressed than he had been in a long time. Even in the thick of combat back in New York, Snake had seemed relaxed. The Boss got to him more than bullets or bombs ever could. “… I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Snake said, without ever turning around to face her. “This is… different.” [Streets] “… What I believe,” The woman began in a far more civil voice than before. “Is that sometimes force is the only solution. I tried to get my message across back home. I did everything that I could to show the people of my nation that we were setting down a dark and dangerous road… and no one listened.” She shook her head. It seemed to weigh on her very deeply. “… if there are no words that can prevent what is happening, then force is the only option I have left. There WILL be collateral damage… but it may be far less than what will otherwise happen.” |

New York City "BLAKE!" Samara exclaimed, moving forward and grabbing the boy tightly. Suddenly the two were engulfed in shadows, disappearing and reappearing a few feet to to left. The girl look alarmed, and then absolutely pissed. Her job was to protect Blake and he had almost been run over by a car. "GET AWAY FROM HIM" the little girl exclaimed, blasting shadows at the run-away car. Slight over reaction. Narroh Residence "Mooooooooooooom I don't need to be set up!" Solanna exclaimed, heading out of the house with her mother and father, towards the flower shop. Airfield Kanna was caught off guard with how fast Red Skull was, the man dodging her attacks and clenching his hands around her throat. The woman gave a choked gasp, reaching for her gun on her hip. "G-Get off m-me!" Shipping Warehouse "SAMA!" Crystal exclaimed as her boyfriend was tossed across the room like a rag doll. The girl would have went right ove, but instead she decided to move to Fisk and draw her gun (to prevent him from coming at her). "Hands up!" she exclaimed Paris "Well luckily you ran into me instead of my sister...She hates these kind of things" Adrianna said with a slight grin. The two girls were in fact very different...Laila was the more adventurous one...And Adrianna, well she wasn't an idiot like her sister. [...] "That's okay, lets just agree to steer clear of our parents....That'll keep us both alive." Laila said with a smile. "Though I should apologize about my mom. I'm kinda glad she didn't raise us, we would have been effed up adults." |

Paris -Deuxième Bureau HQ- “Don't think it's a good idea? Since when has that ever stopped either of us before?” Jenny asked, frowning, “You're tense, you're tired, you're terrified...You need someone with you, to help watch your back, if nothing else. I'm not going to let you run off alone again and get yourself in trouble. If you're going to do something stupid and reckless, I'm coming along this time.” -Streets- The man nodded, “I understand...” He then turned to the crowd, holding his hands up, “Power is a gift, bestowed on those by either luck or skill. However it is attained, one must be thankful for the gift. It is a test given from above, and any who have power must face these challenges. Do they use their power for hatred and their own personal goals, such as the madman from Germany this woman knows? “Do they try to take power from the masses, claiming to be spreading it out?” the man continued, waving towards the man who had been giving out Communist papers, “We humans are imperfect beings, and as such our own works can never achieve perfection of their own. But we are all human, and we must never use our power to keep down fellow men.” Aaron paused a little, frowning slightly in thought, glancing towards Didymus. “Maybe it's just because I can punch through steel, but I kind of get the feeling this guy isn't just talking about political power...” Aaron mentioned quietly, “And that girl...She said she's been face to face with Hitler...It's your call, but if she's really been that close to him...she might have some good intel for the US and Britain...” New York City -Streets- “Samara!” Blake yelled as Samara blasted the car with shadows, in the middle of a crowded street with everyone looking towards them. Uh oh. The car was hit with the shadows, lurching forward some more before slamming into a fire hydrant, water flying upwards, sirens sounding as the cops came closer. Blake turned around, trying to figure out what to do when he felt water pooling around his feet. He looked down, seeing water from the hydrant moving towards him...what was it doing...? With a sudden wave, the hydrant seemed to grow more forceful, sending water everywhere, drenching everyone, creating a sudden mist, hazing everything from view. Blake then felt the water run up around him, suddenly enclosing him in a bubble, pulling him away! -Other Streets- “Nonsense! When I was your age I already had you,” Erin said to Solanna. Of course, Erin hadn't been going to college, was insane, and Solanna is a lot more responsible then her mother...not sure where that came from. |

[Paris] [Deuxième Bureau HQ] Snake shook his head. He turned around to Jenny, and his face was stone cold. “… Jenny…” Snake took a deep breath. Most of the time, Snake was methodical in his approach. It was part of what made him a stealth genius… but when it came to The Boss, Snake was like a child flailing his arms. “… I won’t stop you… but you have to make me a promise, Jenny.” Snake took her hand, and looked her in the eyes. “… if this gets dangerous… I want you to run.” Snake did not want to think that The Boss could be their enemy… but he knew that if she was, there was nothing he could do to stop her. He doubted there was anything; anyone could do to stop her. [Streets] The woman (and Didymus and Aaron need to approach her so I can actually start calling her ‘Alice’), simply stood and watched the man as he spoke to the crowd. She found herself in at least partial agreement with him. […] Musashi wanted to ask more about Laila’s mother, but decided that it could be a problem if they did. “Enough talk about our parents. Let’s talk about us… or better yet, let’s do something! We’re in Paris, there has to be a million things we could do!” [Louvre] Oliver shrugged as they arrived. “Well I wouldn’t want to go to a museum with your sister anyway. I’d much rather be here with you.” He smiled to Adrianna. [New York City] [Airfield] “You made a very bad mistake, Ms. Narroh.” Red Skull sneered as he started to squeeze Kanna’s throat. He was ready to kill her, but he had to made it slow and painful… he IS Hitler’s BFF, what do you expect? “You should have stayed working for me!” Red Skull hissed, but suddenly a large blast of water, moving at the speed and strength as if shot from a fire hose, hit him in the side and knocked him across the ground and into a wall. He dropped Kanna, naturally. Rica was panting, and covered in blood, but he rushed towards Kanna. “We… should… go…” [Shipping Warehouse] Wilson Fisk simply laughed as Crystal pointed a gun at him. “My dear girl, you must be kidding me. I could take that gun from you and crush it in my bare hands!” While Fisk looked like he was incredibly fat, it was all actual muscle. He could punch through metal if he tried to. |

Paris Streets "Yeah you're right...How about a romantic walk through the gardens, or a fancy dinner at some expensive French resturant-" Laila then paused, catching a glimpse of a set of stairs that lead to some sort of basement. This would have been sketchy if not for the music coming from the building....Actually it probably was still sketchy, but Laila didn't mind. "Or we could check out that place! It's probably full of shady French guys who cause trouble!" Laila exclaimed with a grin, pulling Musashi down the stairs. "It'll be fun!" Louvre Adrianna paused at Oliver's words, giving a slight smile. Adrianna spent a lot of time competing with Laila....Especially for guys. It wasn't often that she wasn't overshadowed. "Uh...Thanks..." she finally said, a bit flustered. New York City Airfield Kanna choked as Red Skull squeezed her neck, cutting off her air supply. “You should have stayed working for me!” Kanna probably would have had a witty retort for this...If she could breathe. Luckily a massive blast of water knocked Red Skull away, allowing Kanna a few seconds to gasp in precious oxygen. She shivered a bit and scrambled back to her feet, rushing back to Rica's side. "A-About time!" she coughed. Shipping Warehouse "I'm a pretty good shot. I bet you I can shoot those hands before they get to me" To prove her point the girl shot at the man, hoping to not accidentally shoot and kill the guy...Maybe just maim slightly.... This was the worst stalling ever by the way. Streets Samara gasped as Blake was consumed in the orb of water, and instantly the girl started to shoot the water with her shadows. She kept doing it over and over again, hoping to break through! She would have just turned back to shadows herself, but something was blocking her from getting to Blake, even in a non-solid form. He was probably too stressed or distracted...She couldn't tell right away but it was scaring her. [...] Solanna gave a nervous laugh. It was hard to explain to her mom that she just hadn't found that right guy...Apparently her biological clock was already ticking. |

I'll bite your legs off!

Paris Didymus paused, listening as this girl and now this other man went on. Then, Aaron spoke. "Lots of people have met Hitler face to face. That doesn't mean they have intel. On the other hand...she was talking about doing "everything she could" and it would be a shame if this girl disappeared on account of anyone but us..." He grinned. "...besides, a girl who willing to openly and angrily scream at communists is rarer than I'd like. I can't let this opportunity pass, now can I?" His grin widened. "Let me see if I can't get her attention..." He walked by them, and wadded up their posters into paper balls, throwing them down at their feet. "People, people, we've all a right to free speech. We can say what we want, and, in many cases at least, as loud as we can shout it. This has been a wonderful demonstration of that fact." He looked to Alice. "But madam, if I may, you must be thirsty after that. Please, allow me the honor of buying you a drink? This is Paris, after all, a lady should get a little courtesy, right?" This was...not normally his way. But it was more likely he'd avoid suspicion if he seemed interested in her... Edited by The Vidit of Light, Dec 27 2012, 10:37 PM.

[Paris] [Streets] Musashi paused as Laila decided that instead of going to a fancy restaurant she wanted to follow some sketchy music into a basement. "Or we could check out that place! It's probably full of shady French guys who cause trouble!" Musashi knew he shouldn’t… but Musashi is Musashi. He might make a great battlefield commander, but when it comes to women, he’s as irresponsible as they come. “… Yeah, okay. Let’s go!” […] Alice waited for a response from the strange man, when suddenly Didymus appeared and tossed the literature back to the Nazi sympathizer. He frowned, and snatched back the paper balls with a scowl on his face. Alice looked like she might say something, when Didymus turned to her… and seemingly asked her out. “… What? I… I suppose… but don’t get the wrong idea. I’m not interested in romance. But I suppose if you have common sense enough to ignore these idiots and their lies, then I can at least give you the time of day.” [Louvre] Oliver noticed that Adrianna seemed flustered. It was a first. He smiled and suddenly leaned over to her. “You’re very welcome, Mademoiselle. Now come on! There’s probably some sort of brilliant exhibit.” He suggested. [New York City] [Airfield] “Sorry, darling. It’s a bit difficult to do anything when you have several dozen bullets in your face.” Rica grunted. He looked over to Red Skull. “We have to kill him… we have to end all of this now. HYDRA is a threat to the entire world, and we can take out it’s head.” Rica smirked smugly. “Fool… have you never paid attention to myths? You cut off one head, and two more grow to takes its place.” Red Skull growled. He stood up, massaging his sore neck for a moment. “But you will not kill me anyway.” Red Skull rushed forward. He threw a super-powerful punch into Rica’s chest. Rica, who had fought with Ethan many times over the years, was a bit used to this situation – but Red Skull still caught him by surprise, shattering Rica’s ribcage with one punch and knocking him flat on his back. [Shipping Warehouse] Fisk roared in pain as Crystal shot his hand. He fell back, clutching his bloody hand and screaming. “Kill them! Kill them both!” Fisk roared. By now, Sama was back on his feet. He shot at a box of explosives, and it, well, exploded! Several of Fisk’s guards fell down, injured, and the room started to fill with smoke. |

[Eiffel Tower] Nanami paused for a moment, confused by Marco’s words, and why he had paled up so much. Then it hit her and she realized what he meant. “Oh. Musashi will be fine.” Nanami shrugged, which seemed a very un-Nanami-ish thing to say. She leaned over the railing and looked out at Paris below. “Well… no, he won’t be ‘fine’. He’ll get himself in trouble; but nothing he can handle on his own.” Nanami explained. She turned to Marco and crossed her arms. “The American’s did a good job of getting us here in secret. I’m sure the German spies will eventually realize we’re here, but it will take some time. At least a couple of days.” Nanami decided to explain, since she was sure Marco would think she was taking this all rather well. “HYDRA could pull off those attacks in America because no one expected anything like that to happen all the way across the Atlantic. France shares a border with Germany, though. If they attack Paris, they won’t be able to write it off as some other group or random violence. It will likely mean the beginning of war if they attack here… and I don’t think Hitler’s ready for that.” She shrugged. “As for Japan… Kojiro won’t be able to find us this quickly. So we have at least a couple of days before I have to worry too much.” |

"...though I suppose I wasn't going to hang on to those flyers anyway...still, madam, if I may, come along..." He led them to a place...a place named Chattes Noir. [Paris] [Chattes Noir] Alice followed along without saying much. She wasn’t about to spend all day with a stranger, but she supposed it was better to get off the streets and away from the propaganda before she lost her temper and ended up smacking someone. Again. “Look, I don’t mean to offend you, and I’ll stay for a drink, but I’m much too busy to be ‘picked up’ as you Americans would say.” Alice said bluntly. |

Chattes Noir “Look, I don’t mean to offend you, and I’ll stay for a drink, but I’m much too busy to be ‘picked up’ as you Americans would say.” "Oooh, I like a woman that doesn't play games like that..." Didymus said, grinning. He found himself enjoying this a tad too much, perhaps... "...but seriously, thank you for letting me buy you a drink. Any woman willing to openly scream at communists like that gains some points in my book..." The place was expensive, and a tad flashy...he ordered a table-relieved to be able to get one without a reservation, though he wondered if this was a sign the theater wasn't what it once was. At the door, a black cat hissed at Didymus and Aaron, but pressed against Alice as they walked by. "Meh, dogs are better." Didymus said. They were led to a table in front of a stage, surrounded by other tables-the place was a dinner theater. "Any drink you desire, madam, is on me..." Didymus said to Alice. "Now, let's see this menu here..." he looked it over for a moment. "...what do you think looks good, Aaron? Do you see any large portions of meat here?" He looked up from the menu. Time to press for intel. "But still, it's rare to find a German woman in these parts-and I also must say, how did you tell I'm American? The accent? My manner of speaking? The fact I need to consult a book to speak in broken French?" Edited by The Vidit of Light, Dec 30 2012, 08:38 PM.
