I can't see what you're imagining

-Hotel- “Well then I hope you can depend on Gallic Enterprises to help you out.” Galv spun around, electricity crackling in his hands, staring as the elevator opened. A young man with blond hair and green eyes grinned at them, stepping forward. “Your sister, Lily, has been having me follow you,” the man said. Galv paused, then carefully handed Blake to his wife, before turning back to the man and slamming him against the wall. “Easy there buddy,” the man said, “You don't want to hurt me. I can help you. The name's Jack. I work for your sister...well I guess technically that McCall guy now, but she's the one who hands me my checks.” Galv frowned, then stepped back, letting Jack breath. “...Fine...bring us to my sister...” Galv sighed, and Jack grinned, nodding and leading them down. Once outside he motioned to a large limo waiting for them. “This should fit everyone...” -Marco's Car- “Alright then,” Aaron said, leaning back in his chair. He paused, then leaned forward, looking worried. “Something's very wrong...” Aaron muttered, “Hurry up! I think they're in trouble!” Twin senses! Or something. -Japanese Restaurant- Jenny couched, covering her mouth as the smoke started, ducking under the table and glancing towards Snake. This wasn't good... |

Japanese Restaurant If it wasn't such a serious matter or situation, Marco would have most likely commented that Snake didn't have anything to worry about with Musashi being dangerous, because Snake was not a female. But this situation was just a 'little' too serious for most of Marco's joking around to be appropriate. And then chaos began. As soon as the lights went out and windows shattered, Marco shoved Musashi straight to the ground. Then as fast as he could, he jumped into his briefcase, and pulled out a mask in which he shoved into Musashi's face. "Damnit..." Marco said to himself, before coughing. Equipment-wise, he was not prepared enough to deal with more than one person other than himself, in this type of situation. Plus, these guys were using smoke bombs themselves, so he couldn't use his own sleeping gas bombs or similar stuff to full effectiveness... But it also gave him an idea. If these guys were going to try and use a smoke bomb to force everyone here out into the open because they can't breathe or see, this meant that whoever this was, they had an idea that everyone would be coming out of either of the exits. Plus, if anyone else was coming in, they'd be coming in through the kitchen entrance/exit, due to its venting and separation from the main area, and to cut everyone inside off from trying to exit that way. Grabbing a few of his own smoke bombs from his pockets, he threw one out through the glass of the main entrance door, and another through one of the side exits. Marco then tried to get Laila and Adrianna, as well as Musashi, over towards the restaurant's kitchen area. "Follow me!" However, as soon as he got close enough to the kitchen area, he stopped pulling everyone else, and threw a flashbang grenade down and into the kitchen area. If someone was trying to get in through there, he hoped he could KO them before they could get their bearings back after that. |

Limo Still holding her son Melanie slid into the limo, allowing the boy to sit next to her. She didn't say anything to anyone, but she hugged her son tightly and stroked his hair. Joyce also climbed in, sitting next to Sage and squeezing his hand every now and then. She still seemed in shock over what she saw, every now and then she would close her eyes or shudder... Kanna almost climbed in but she stopped, looking down. "I'll meet you all there...." she mumbled, looking to the side. "I need to do a few things...." She knew Blake needed her help, but she also knew that protecting her family (and she supposed Galv too) from the Nazi's was important too.... Japanese Restaurant "What the hell!?" Adrianna coughed, narrowing her eyes and waving her hands in front of her face to clear some of the smoke. "Follow me!" "It would be easier if we could see!" Laila exclaimed as she coughed, but followed along none-the-less. Adrianna did the same. |

[Limo] Rica frowned, seeing that Kanna seemed hesitant to come with them. She had just freak out about her fear over what the Nazis would do when they found out. Rica knew that the Nazis had some very harsh ways of treating failure, and he wasn’t about to let Kanna waltz off to get killed. “I suppose I’m coming with you, then.” Rica said, frowning as he hopped out of the limo and stood next to Kanna. “You might need a meat shield.” [Japanese Restaurant] The moment the gas canisters crashed through the windows and the restaurant began to fill up with smoke, several shapes began to move. Some stayed relatively close to the windows, still outside, and were merely there to watch the shapes of the party at the table and see which exit they ran towards. The rest moved quickly, some heading towards the main entrance, and others around back so they could go through the kitchen. As the ones at the kitchen rushed in, they (and the unfortunate waiter who was hiding there) got a nasty surprise in the form of Marco’s flashbang. Though the assassins were well trained, there’s really no training to resist having your senses immediately distorted as if you had just spent the last 18 hours on a roller coaster at a rock concert. Unable to see or hear, the assassins did their best to hide themselves, but it was difficult to find cover while staggering around like a bunch of blind drunks. However, as they noticed one of the shapes overturn a table for cover, and another shape flashbang the kitchen, the assassins at the windows who had been on watch immediately sprang into action, using the smoke to slip into the room and rush in. They all wore gray mesh masks with goggles, which kept the smoke from burning their eyes. They moved quickly, rushing towards the shapes that were their targets. Musashi, meanwhile, was frustrated and confused. He now had a gas mask, thanks to Marco, but that only irritated him. Sometimes Musashi hated the way others went out of their way to protect him. He looked around, trying to find Laila and Adrianna and keep them close. Snake cast a quick glance to see that Jenny had taken shelter under the table, and then he flattened himself on the floor with his pistol drawn. He took aim at the window and, seeing a shape coming in, opened fire hitting the intruder twice in the chest. [Marco’s Car] Nanami nodded to Aaron and sped up. As she came around the corner, though, she slammed on the brakes and actually swerved the car sideways to stop in time. Glancing forward towards the restaurant, she saw smoke pouring out of the windows, which seemed to be broken, and several people all dressed in gray around the building. “Damn it!” Nanami swore and she threw the door open and jumped out. Her shoulder was still sore, but that hardly mattered now. She made it only three feet towards the restaurant when she had to stop and throw her hand up. She moved just in time to catch the shuriken intended for her neck. “Hello, darling.” Nanami looked up at the voice and saw Kojiro standing halfway across the parking lot. He was wearing all gray the same as the others, but no mask – and he now sported a fancy eye patch. |

Japanese Restaurant Marco jumped into action right after throwing that flash-bang, hitting the assassins he could find in the kitchen with his hands and fingers. With him using this technique, he could incapacitate these people near completely, for a little bit, if he hit them in the right spots on their necks, and for anyone he couldn't get a good shot in against, he just needed to hit them in all their extremities. Marco got who he could, but should have known better to expect Musashi and the girls to have followed him. "Damnitttt..." He could see some things moving around through the smoke, but more camoflaged than how Musashi and the harem sisters were, meaning these other assassins didn't fall for his diversion. At least their disguise left them... less disguised. Aiming his briefcase towards the movement that wasn't from dark colored Musashi/Harem blobs within the smoke, Marco shot a net out from his briefcase, to tangle them up. Marco then followed this up by running back to Musashi and the girls, and trying to usher them back towards the kitchen... ...and to try and make any wannabe assassin really feel bad if they tried to kill them. |

Japanese restaurant Movies are always filled with action heroes who stand without cover and mow down their opposition. Kung-fu masters who assume all manner of poses and bodily movements to bring their opponents down with style and without really even breaking a sweat. Didymus was no such action hero. He was a man. He was a Marine. He peered out from cover, and with a silent prayer, lined up his shots-the smoke made things difficult, but he had been well-trained and this wasn't he hairest situation he found himself in. He remained as calm as he could, lining up his targets, letting out quick, controlled bursts of heavy automatic fire-one by one, or occassinally several in a sweep-were felled before his rifle. Take a shot, let out a burst, nail one or two men, duck again. Move to another side. Move to a different cover. Reload when necessary. Marines were trained to be shock troopers. Close-quarter combat wasn't anything new to the Corps. He was planning on how to get Musashi behind something-but when Marco started running around, that got amended to "Cover them and don't let them slip out without me/us". |

[Japanese Restaurant] Several of the would-be assassins were cut down by the combination of Didymus’ BAR and Snake’s pistol. The group was actually quite small, so once about five of them had been taken down, they started to retreat. There were about another five in the kitchen who had been disoriented and then disarmed by Marco, they were injured but alive. Musashi, meanwhile, grabbed Laila and Adrianna and rushed towards the kitchen. The gas mask was protecting him from the smoke, but his eyes were watering and burning from the thick cloud of smog. A few of the remaining assassins had taken cover on the other side of the wall, and were now throwing another barrage of smoke bombs, hoping to completely blind the attackers inside. |

Japanese Restaurant This situation really wasn't that great. Musashi, Laila, and Adrianna were finally out in a bit more of the 'clear', in that the smoke wasn't as much of a problem in the kitchen, but the two soldier guys and that nurse lady were still out in the middle of all that. If only he had been smart enough to create anti-smoke bombs that could blow all that stuff away... ...and if only that wasn't just a fictional dream in Marco's head. ...and only if he was smart enough to have asked Laila and Adrianna if they had any other fancy "abilities" outside of how the one of them could seemingly get shot and not have that affect them in the least. Not that they'd want to help him, anyways, especially since he didn't have masks for them... Well he had one. "Share. I've only got this and the one Musashi has," Marco spoke, as he handed his mask to whichever of the two girls was closer to him. He then took off his own hat, putting it over his own face, giving him a good idea for later in making it a makeshift gas-mask, but probably not helping him much now (since it wasn't one now). Marco hoped, at least, that those three still in the main room could understand what he wanted to do, with as few of words as possible. He couldn't just yell out his plans, or else everyone would just come on over to try and ambush them there. "Back! Back! Back!" Marco yelled out, hoping that those within the room would understand to pull back towards the kitchen where he was. ...or at least do something. Sitting around in a smokebomb bath shooting anyone that approached didn't seem like a great strategy to Marco. And that wouldn't be good, especially if that brother of Musashi guy was around, which he was pretty sure was the case. If Marco had to deal with him, he'd rather do so outside in clear air... And before Nanami eventually showed up; even with that magic medicine stuff or whatever she had, there just wasn't any way she could be fully up to dealing with him... And for some reason, he really felt like he didn't want her to do that, just for her own sake. ...umm... too late. |

-Limo- “No.” Galv turned to Kanna and Rica, glaring at the two, “I'm not going to trapeze around New York City again looking for people. We are seeing this through, and I have a feeling I'm going to need Kanna's expertise with the shadow powers. If not, then fine. Whatever. I was wrong. But we need your help right now Kanna. If you ever cared about your family, you will stay with us for now...” Galv was pretty angry at everything right now. -Japanese Restaurant- Jenny coughed, following after Marco, Adrianna, and Lalia. She couldn't do much to help with Snake and Didymus, though she pulled out a scalpel and her tranquilizer gun, in case someone bad got close... Outside, Aaron got out as well, following Nanami when she suddenly stopped, catching a throwing star thrown by some odd eye patch wearing guy. “Acquaintance of your's?” Aaron asked, frowning. He held up his hands, light glowing in his palms, “Does he have an ability too?” |

[Japanese Restaurant] Snake was firing at the approaching shapes, and it seemed like the enemy was on the retreat. That was at least SOME good news, but right now Snake felt like they were in a streak of bad news. He heard Marco yelling, and he did get what he meant. When he saw that Jenny made it to the kitchen, he opened fire at the windows again and looked over to Didymus. “Get to the kitchen!” Snake would go last. He didn’t like the idea of leaving a younger soldier on the battlefield while he fled. […] Outside, things were very different. Nanami was standing in a stare-down with Kojiro. Kojiro had a wakizashi – a shorter version of a katana made for use with one hand. He was extremely skilled with it, and Nanami knew just how dangerous he could be. Nanami had just her small dagger, and a sore shoulder. She was still tired and in a lot of pain, and she knew that right now she was in no condition to fight Kojiro. That didn’t matter, as her number one priority had to be to get past him and to Musashi. When Aaron broke the silence by asking, Nanami didn’t even look over to him. “Musashi’s elder brother, Kojiro. Do not underestimate him.” Nanami warned, and then she turned her attention to Koji himself. After a brief pause for a stare down, Nanami asked: “You’d kill your own brother?” “It is the Emperor’s Will.” Kojiro replied coldly. “Look at him, Nanami! He betrays Japan. He’s here, working with the Americans against his own people.” Nanami shook her head. “The Emperor is wrong. He’s being used by Hitler.” Kojiro’s eyes flashed hot. “The Emperor is never wrong! Have you ever stopped to think that maybe he is the one using Hitler? We have a divine right to rule this world! My father will make that happen.” There was a pause, and then Nanami sighed. “… You really don’t understand at all. How did you change this much, Koji?” His eyes narrowed dangerously. “I am not the one who changed. I obey my Emperor with honor. You are the one who helps the traitor. Nanami, my love, I’ll give you one final chance even after you have marred my face… Do your duty! Musashi betrays Japan, you are honor bound to kill him yourself! Do it, now, and I shall forgive you.” Nanami paused for a moment, and there was deep sadness in her eyes. “… If I thought Musashi was the traitor, I would kill him… but the way I see it, it is the Emperor who is betraying us, and leading us to ruin, and it my father who should act on his duty.” She said, and her voice was as chilled as ice. “Blasphemy!” Kojiro shouted, and he seemed disgusted by the implication that the Emperor could do any wrong. “I cannot forgive you now, Nanami…” Kojiro charged at her, and he was fast. He slashed his wakizashi, and Nanami barely dodged it. She struck out with her dagger, but the range was too short, and Kojiro evaded it and thrust back at her. She dodged and jumped away, so that she was now on the hood of a parked car. |

Limo Kanna frowned, knowing Galv had no clue what he was saying. If he knew how much trouble Kanna was in he would want her one hundred miles away from them. But she didn't want to bring it up... "Mom...Please just come" Melanie said quietly, still sitting with her son. Kanna sighed, looking to Rica. "This isn't going to turn out well" she mumbled, before climbing in. "I may take you up on that meat shield thing very soon...." Kanna was worried. Japanese Restaurant Adrianna was still following the others out when she had a very bad feeling... "You don't think-" "Aaron's out there isn't he?" Laila finished, knowing the feeling. "80% sure" Arianna coughed "I can feel his powers" |

-Japanese Restaurant- Kojiro and Nanami scuffled, Nanami jumping back from him, landing on a car. Aaron frowned, his hands glowing brightly now, staring at Kojiro as he stepped forward. “Nanami, you're still injured...” Aaron said, “I can handle this fight.” Aaron took a deep breath, holding his hands up, firing a beam of light at Kojiro! -Limo- “Miss Narroh, if you're worried your...associates will follow, you can rest assured that Gallic Enterprises will make sure that will not happen,” Jack said as the limo started up with everyone in tow, “We are not a Mom and Pop store.” The limo moved through the streets, coming to a stop outside a tall skyscraper, the headquarters for Gallic Enterprises in New York City. Jack lead them out, and up to the elevators. Sage followed them along too, as they headed up to the top floor, Galv having a determined look on his face. Soon they entered the top floor. There, Lily would be waiting. And Ryan as well if CR wants him there. |

[Japanese Restaurant] Snake fired a few more times to cover Didymus’ movement, and then he rushed to the kitchen himself, closing the door behind him. Unfortunately it was one of those restaurant doors that can’t actually lock. “We need to move,” Snake said. “Your brother is here?” Musashi asked, as he heard Laila and Adrianna. “Then maybe Nanami is too…” […] Kojiro watched as a beam of light shot towards him, and he quickly jumped to the side, barely avoiding it. Then he thrust out his hand, tossing a handful of smoke pellets towards Aaron’s face, hoping that when they hit they would blind him! Nanami rushed back towards Kojiro, but another figure stepped out from behind one of the cars and kicked at her. Nanami immediately recognized him. He was a Japanese man probably a few years her elder, who was dressed all in the same gray uniform as the others, with a scar on his chin. Immediately they started fighting, each throwing various blows, with their fingers glowing ever so slightly. [Limo] Rica chuckled as Kanna was browbeaten into changing her mind and he once again ventured into the limo to follow. In truth he was a little glad that they would all stay together, since otherwise he was sure they’d be looking for one another again, and the last time that happened he had been drowned. “Don’t get too cocky,” Rica warned Jack with his usual smugness. “We’re not exactly dealing with amateurs. Kanna’s associates have managed to smuggle numerous people and weapons into this country without being detected, and have successfully carried out a series of murders and assaults all over the city.” |

Japanese Restaurant Marco nodded to Snake's statement, with a cough. Inside, they were a lot easier targets than they'd be if they could get outside... But getting outside would also make them easy targets, unless they had a plan. And then the girls began commenting on how they felt their brother, and Musashi about Nanami... "...and with these guys trying to hunt us down here, then Musashi's brother is probably also out there... We really need to get out..." Marco commented. His mind was racing, trying to come up with a way to get everyone out, but anything he could come up with was too risky for everyone else... "Any ideas?" |
