I can't see what you're imagining

-Makeshift Safe House- “Already, if you're sure then,” Aaron said, wandering into the kitchen, looking through it. He frowned, pulling out a can of beans. “We have beans...” Aaron sighed, waving the can towards Nanami, “Easy to cook I suppose, lot's of protein, but not really my idea of a meal.” -Japanese Restaurant- “I'm sure they're figuring out just what to do,” Jenny said, trying to console Snake, “You should never go into battle unprepared if you can help. Why, I'm sure they're all sitting down somewhere, trying to figure out how to kill Hitler.” Sometimes you type odd sentences in RPs you never thought you'd ever type. |

[Makeshift Safehouse] Nanami sighed a bit. She was used to canned food, having eaten a lot of it on the journey to America. Not that she ever complained… she was quite used to having to go without. “… It’ll have to do for now. We’ll be following them soon anyway.” She paused. “… Your sisters… are they always like this?” [Japanese Restaurant] “Maybe…” Snake said, his voice low. “… But it’s not like the Boss to do things on her own. She was a Patriot… she lived to serve the Army. And there’s been no word from her in years… I have a standing order at the War Department that any word on the Boss gets sent to me right away.” He shook his head. “So far nothing…” |

-Makeshift Safe House- “If you're sure you're up to following them...” Aaron said. Nanami had looked pretty bad back at the docks when she fought Rica. He put his hands around the can, focusing as his hands began to glow for a bit. “As for my sisters...well, they've always been a little antagonistic with each other...I guess they get it from their dads...” Aaron shrugged as he heated the can of beans up, “They tend not to hang around each other though, so I've never really seen them argue over a guy like this...I guess that's something else they get from their Dads, arguing over someone of the opposite gender...” After he finished talking, Aaron placed the can down and rifled through the cabinets, grabbing a couple bowls and spoons. He picked the can back up. “Here, watch this,” Aaron said, grinning a little. He held the can up horizontally, taking a deep breath. With one deft motion the can blurred, and Aaron carefully held two halves of the can, then dumped them each into a bowl, handing the bowl and spoon to Nanami. “If it's too cold still I can heat it up some more,” Aaron said, picking up his own bowl. -Japanese Restaurant- Jenny gave a sad sigh, looking towards Snake. “Maybe she just can't report back without putting herself or others in danger?” Jenny suggested, trying to console the soldier, “I'm sure you'll see her again one day...” |

[Makeshift Safehouse] Nanami shook her head. “I appreciate the concern, but I’m fine. I’ve been through worse.” Nanami said and she walked over to the counter and sat down. She watched for a moment as Aaron made the beans in his own unique way. “Interesting ability.” Nanami replied, looking down at the bowl and stirring it with the spoon. “It’s fine.” She took a few bites, and then at length paused. “I’d try to keep that idiot away from your sisters, but they’re following him as much as he’s following them. If it’s any consolation, he’s not quite as bad as he appears.” [Japanese Restaurant] Snake shook his head. “They’re all missing…” Snake sighed. “I can’t imagine what could keep them all down.” |

-Makeshift Safe House- “I'd guess he'd have to be, huh?” Aaron smirked a little, munching his own beans, “But I just hope they don't end in the same situation our parents did...” Aaron looked down, feeling a little sad. It wasn't that he hated Rica. Hate was something that did not come easily to the short young man. But at times he did feel a little...resentful. He had always wished his parents would settle down together. And he loved Lalia. Lalia was as much of a sister to him as his own twin. He paused, then looked back up to Nanami, grinning, “So, anyways...you control water, I think? That's a pretty cool ability. I have an aunt who told me stories about her brother who could control water too.” Aaron was smart enough not to mention Rica though. “I have super strength from my dad, and light from my mom,” Aaron added, “Adrianna has super strength too, and then shadow powers...but I'm stronger then her...” Aaron never really got to talk about his abilities. Most of his family seemed to have one, and outside of practical talks he never really discussed it with them. It was interesting meeting someone outside his extended family who also had an ability. -Japanese Restaurant- Jenny just gave Snake a sad smile, patting him on the arm. “Well I might not have been part of your old team, but you still have me, don't you?” Jenny then grinned a little, “I tracked you down, and I'm sure they'll track you down one day too.” But unlike Jenny I don't think they're going to want to make out with Snake. At least I really hope not. |

[Makeshift Safehouse] Nanami didn’t ask about Aaron’s parents. She wouldn’t have wanted anyone asking about her parents, so she decided not to press Aaron. Instead, he brought up the topic of their abilities, and that was one she could talk about… to an extent. “Everyone in my clan has an ability.” Nanami told him. “It’s part of the reason our clan protects the Imperial family.” She did not tell him about her martial arts, like she had told Marco, however. She ate a spoonful of beans and then looked back up to him. “The strength must come in handy… Water is pretty useful. It’s everywhere, you know. Even in the air… but it takes a lot to control it. It’s difficult, years of training…” [Japanese Restaurant] Snake nodded a bit, but Jenny wasn’t the same as the Sons. “Maybe… I’m not even sure what I’d say to them. I’d be their superior officer, now, technically. Heh… I’ve always been more comfortable following orders than giving them.” He paused, looking back to Jenny, and saying nothing. |

-Makeshift Safe House- “I guess if you want someone to protect someone that important, an ability would definitely help. Most people don't expect it...” Aaron considered, taking another bite of his own beans. “As for my strength...well...it can be useful. But I can't shut it off,” Aaron said, “I have to be careful in everything I do, or I might break something. It took me until I was ten until I could eat with a utensil properly. I kept breaking them.” He closed his eyes for a moment, remembering, “It took me years of control as well. My dad, and Sensei taught me. Heck, Sensei taught me how to fight as well. Probably a lot different then what you learned.” Aaron chuckled a little, taking a moment to finish his beans, “I have to keep myself calm...Can't drink alcohol either. Could too easily lose control and hurt someone. But all the training meant I can really apply control to things...” He finished his beans, getting up a rinsing off the bowl and leaving it in the sink. He rinsed the spoon off as well, then pulled out a small ball of metal. Aaron was careful, molding it in his hands. He liked talking about his ability like this. His father simply knew what he meant and wouldn't really listen, and his sister would just nod and also not really listen. After a moment he made a somewhat crude throwing star, showing it to Nanami, “Can't really make sharp edges, but I've always been strong enough that whatever I throw goes through things anyways.” -Japanese Restaurant- “Well I was a medic. We don't take orders, we just help people,” Jenny said idly. “Friend or foe, our first credence is to help and heal...” She sighed a little, looking up, “If only everyone could follow that...” |

[Makeshift Safehouse] Nanami listened and she tried to understand what that would be like. On some level, she could understand. She had been trained in one of the most dangerous forms of martial arts on the planet. She could actually slice through solid objects with her bare hands – and it was something that took enormous focus and control to use properly, or it could be extremely dangerous. Still, she didn’t quite want to reveal those secrets. Instead she sat and listened, and then watched as he made the throwing star. She took it and looked it over. “Not bad, but it’s too blunt for someone without super strength.” She leaned back in the chair. “I suppose there’s a downside to everything. Still, that control is important. A lot of people would be better off with some control.” Musashi. She’s talking about Musashi. [Japanese Restaurant] Snake tensed up a bit. “Yeah… you medics are lucky. There’s only one thing I do to foes.” And Snake was very good at it too. |

-Makeshift Safe House- “Yah, some people do,” Aaron nodded, knowing who Nanami meant. He frowned for a moment, “A lot of people too...” He was thinking of his sisters. “Though I've never really gotten to use my ability that much. At least, not much for fighting. In theory I could pull a man's heart of his chest and show it to him before he collapses, but, well...I've never had a need to,” Aaron added, “I've never gotten to push my powers in the other direction. I've always focused on little things...never really what my upper limits are...” He looked towards Nanami again. She wasn't talking too much about herself, but that was fine with him. If she wanted to talk about her past or anything then she would. If she didn't, he wouldn't pressure her. -Japanese Restaurant- “Lucky is a relative term...” Jenny muttered. “It's hard to see people die when you're trying to save them, even if they are the enemy...” Jenny may not have ever killed someone herself, but she had still seen her fair share of death. |

[Makeshift Safehouse] Nanami raised an eyebrow as she listened. Now that did sound impressive, and dangerous. “That’s probably a good thing.” She told him, now looking at him. “Usually you only test your upper limits when your life is on the line.” She paused, thinking back to her battle with Rica. She hadn’t even come close to using the limits of her powers, at least not offensively… but she had really tested herself afterwards, when trying to keep her blood inside for so long. “… Though, with how things are going in the world… you might get your chance.” [Japanese Restaurant] Snake was silent for a moment, but then he shook his head. “You might be right… I imagine death is harder when your job is to prevent it… when it’s your job to cause it, you can’t think in idyllic terms… I’d go crazy if I did.” Considering the canonical Big Boss did go crazy and become a evil dictator, this is probably not a good thing for Snake to be thinking about. The Car that isn't Marco's "Huh..." Marco answered Musashi, taking off his hat for a moment, and scratching the top of his head, "Well, part may just be because I don't act quite like you! Heh..." Marco stopped for a few moments in thought, as everyone else filed into the car. He soon followed suit, hopping in, starting up the car, and then driving off. "Maybe she also picks up that I'm being honest in how I really DO want to help you guys out with this..." This was going to be on his mind now, for most of the ride back to this meetup, as he really wasn't sure at all why she'd trust him. ((I don't mind if/when they show up at the restaurant)) |

[The Car] Musashi leaned back in the seat as they sped on down the always-busy streets of New York. His eyes went to the windows and he watched the people out and about, with a sad smile on his face. “Well I’m glad you want to help us, because we need it.” Musashi admitted. “Though I doubt any amount of help will matter if I fail in this meeting… I have to convince your government that I’m trying to help. After what happened with my brother, I can’t go home, and I might not be able to prevent hostilities…” He gave a sigh, and shifted in the seat. “… but maybe I can help protect this city. Especially in light of everything we’ve learned…” He had the map from the warehouse in his pocket, and was planning on showing it to the government agents when they got there. |

The Car "Well, that's why you just aren't going to fail, now, isn't it?" Musashi will find that Marco is just a touch more positive and reinforcing, in his thought process, than Nanami is. Just a little bit. "So did you learn anything extra that you went over before I got out from helping out Ms. Nanami?" he then asked, both trying to break the silence (well, from the front part of the car; the back seat with Laila and Adrianna might be a bit of a different story, where silence might mean they both killed each other), and not wanting to go into this meeting blind. |

[The Car] Musashi paused, as Marco asked what else they had learned. He remembered, and eagerly grinned, looking over to him. “Actually, yeah, we did! There’s several points on the map circled in red. Some of them are the places that were bombed, and some haven’t been… but I’m guessing they are what’s next.” Musashi frowned. “I’m hoping that when we show this to those government guys, they’ll be able to protect these places.” Musashi sighed, rubbing his neck. “If we still had the Sakura machines, I could protect them myself…” |

The Car Marco nodded along, though he wasn't so sure about the idea of the Sakura robots being used. The general public might not exactly be enthused (and possibly would be somewhat afraid), of the giant Japanese bots coming back and piloted by a Japanese prince, right off the bat, even if he only had good intentions. People as a whole can be too skeptical of others they don't know, especially when you have all this propaganda made because of some certain people being idiots wanting to do stupid stuff... But... "This meeting place isn't one of those red-marks, right?" Marco also didn't really want to mention about how they may have to mention Adrianna's and Laila's mom... ...and that other guy that was at least the one's dad (Marco was not all that sure, looking at them, if they had the same dad or not... or if adoption was involved... or... geez this family was messed up). That might not go over well, even if it also might be the best way to ensure that their story was believed by these guys... But if that's where things had to lead, that's where they'd go. |
