I can't see what you're imagining

-Warehouse at the Docks- Blake shook his head to Samara, frowning. He didn't want to kill anyone. He was about to step forward, when someone stepped out from some crates, holding his hands up. “Sorry, sorry, it's just me!” Aaron said, looking sheepish, “I guess I need to learn to be stealthier...” He gave Nanami and the others another sheepish grin, then turned his attention to Adrianna and Lalia. “Sorry...I wanted to follow them and make sure Musashi wasn't trying anything with my sisters...” Aaron explained. Blake frowned, trying to hide more in the shadows, letting them wrap around him... -Streets- Old Man Sensei, Galv, and Melanie would be getting closer to the docks, but would take some time, as they were on foot. “...Curious...” Old Man Sensei muttered to himself. He had been attempting to keep track of Kanna, and she was near the other two sources of shadows... “I'm only optimistic because you're here to light the way,” Sage said with a grin, being cheesy. “And you're tired...” He frowned, looking at the short girl. “Maybe you should go rest for a bit. If you're this tired it's not going to help find Blake,” Sage suggested. If he had been his father, he'd be attempting to turn that into a make out session. D: “I'll get you home, then I'll go look for Blake,” Sage continued, “I won't rest until I find him!” |

[Warehouse at the Docks] Nanami narrowed her eyes. She still felt on edge… perhaps it was just her paranoia, but Nanami was usually right. “… Next time you can just come along with us. I don’t like to be followed.” Nanami warned him, and then she headed to the window. Like Musashi, she had heard a noise not long ago, but her immediate focus was on whoever was spying on them. Out of the window, she spotted Kanna and Rica. “… Great.” Nanami groaned. |

Downtown Warehouse "Sama!" Crystal exclaimed, after the boy came through the window in a crash. She had only a second to be happy he was okay, as he started to pull her away...A few moments later the wall behind them became riddled with bullets. Crystal gave another little shriek, running alongside him. Warehouse at the Docks "Oh great, I just knew that coming here was a good idea" Laila exclaimed, hearing the shot as well. "Shut up and get ready" Adrianna said, "There's no use in running now" Adrianna was ready to attack, but when she realized it was her brother sneaking around she let out a loud groan and smacked him on the arm. "Don't do that! You're gonna get shot in the face!" Suddenly Adrianna heard another gun-shot, the girl jumping. Unaware to her it was Kanna... "We're so screwed" Laila said, inching towards Musashi. [....] "Should I hurt them?" Samara had dissolved once more from her child-like persona and was now a shadow curling around Blake. She could kill that group without them even knowing what hit them. [...] "Kanna walked into the warehouse, totally unaware that her children were hanging out in the very dangerous place... The woman looked around, tightening her grip on her gun. She looked back to Rica. "Someone is in here...Shoot first and ask questions later" D: [....] Streets "No, I don't want to leave you here alone" Joyce said quietly, stopping a few steps behind him. "Not with all these explosions and stuff going on...Not with all the trouble we attract...If something happens...I don't want you to go missing too" Joyce sighed, looking to the side. [...] "What's the matter?" Melanie asked Old Man Sensei, noticing he was saying something quietly. They were getting nearer to the water and she was starting to feel strange...Perhaps they were on the right track! |

[Downtown] Sama rushed down the street, looking around wildly for a moment before he spotted a cab and quickly hailed it. He tossed a wadded up twenty at the driver and yelled at him to take them across town. The cab drove off, but Sama did not calm down until they were at least six blocks from the warehouse. “Gah…” He groaned, leaning back in his seat and then looking over to Crystal. “That could have gone better…” [Waterfront Safehouse] Another HYDRA agent was shot and killed with Didymus’ latest burst. Gemini got another in the shoulder, knocking him down, but not killing him. Snake meanwhile charged through the door in the back of the room, his gun and knife in hand… [Warehouse at the Docks] Rica nodded to Kanna, slipping out his pistol. He stood beside the door and waited with his ear pressed against the wall for a moment. He heard muffled talking, but not enough to make out the voices. […] On the other side, Nanami quickly shouted at the group. “Everyone, start looking for a back door. I’ll hold them off.” She paused, shooting a glance at Marco. She had made him promise to keep Musashi safe, though she did not trust him as far as she could throw him… still, right now she did not have a choice, and she hoped he would get the job done. […] Rica kicked in the door, immediately opening fire at the first target he saw; a tall woman in the center of the room. Much to his surprise, Nanami dodged every bullet and started running towards him. Rica’s eyes widened – it was extremely rare for him to fight someone who could dodge bullets. Nanami charged at Rica, jumping and immediately kicking him in the chest. Rica stumbled back, smashing into a crate against the wall. However, as quickly as he fell, he was back on one knee and shooting at Nanami again. She had to take the defensive, rolling out of the way until she was behind a crate. ‘Didn’t expect someone with those skills… ha, luckily I have my secret advantage.’ Rica thought to himself. ‘Idiots… as long as Musashi doesn’t get in the way, I can’t lose here…’ Nanami thought to herself. |

Downtown Crystal leaned against the seat in the cab, catching her breath and looking to Sama....For a moment she was silent but then suddenly she started to laugh. "Please don't tell me that's what you do every day!" She giggled, mostly out of relief that they weren't dead. "Oh goodness, I can't believe we're not dead" She then winced, looking down at her hand. It was sticky with blood. "Got a handkerchief or something? I gotta wrap this" Warehouse at the Docks Kanna waited in the shadows, gun raised and attempting to get a good shot in at Nanami's head.... Her aim was close....If Rica would just effing keep her still. [...] Laila heard the commotion going on in the other room, having to stop herself from going in to help Nanami. "We can't leave her to fight? What if they have a gun?!" Laila exclaimed, peeking back into the corner....Suddenly her eyes widened. "DAD?!" Laila stepped out, just as Kanna made several quick shots at both girls, caught off guard by the sudden commotion. The girl let our a yelp, jumping a bit. She felt something warm in her torso and gave a groan....More annoyed than hurt. "My shirt!" Luckily Laila was just like her dad. Then Kanna realized who she had just shot at. "LAILA!?" she exclaimed, keeping her gun trained on Nanami as she stepped out. |

[Downtown] Sama just gave a cheek little grin as he rubbed his head – causing some broken glass to brush out of his hair and onto the carpet. By now, the cab driver was a little weary, but Sama wasn’t too worried of the police since he could smooth things over with Lenny. Besides, if all else failed, Sama did have his ace in the hole… but he was sorta saving that for if Crystal’s CIA friends decided to arrest him. Then he remembered the cut on her hand and he frowned. He reached into his vest for a moment and pulled out a cloth. “Here, let me see…” He gently took her hand and wiped away some of the blood, then he tied the cloth around tightly. “That should stop the bleeding, but we should probably get to an emergency room…” [Warehouse at the Docks] Musashi gasped as something sticky and warm splattered on his face. It was blood – Laila’s blood. He gasped, thinking for a moment that she was dead – but then, much to his amazement, she wasn’t. Musashi was grateful – and pissed. He immediately drew his sword and rushed towards Kanna, who he did not recognize, slashing wildly at her. Rica, meanwhile, was caught off guard when Laila screamed out ‘dad’. He spun his head around, looking for his daughter, which left him open. Nanami charged at him and stabbed him quickly in the chest; which refocused his attention on her. “Why you~!” Rica spun around, this time catching Nanami by surprised. That was rare, but Nanami did not expect a man with a knife in the chest to move as quickly as Rica did. He grabbed Nanami by the throat and slammed her against the wall. Nanami growled, trying to break his grip. She was starting to black out, so she pulled out all the stops; the floor of the dockside warehouse suddenly burst open and a wave of water smashed into Rica and Nanami, knocking them through the wall and out into the bay. |

Warehouse at the Docks Everything was one giant comotion now; Musashi going for Kanna and Rica and Nanami falling into the bay. Instantly the girls reacted; Adrianna moving for her mother and Laila going to the edge of the broken floor and calling out for her dad. "MUSASHI STOP!" Adrianna yelled, rushing behind the boy and wrapping her arms around his waist. The girl was quite a bit shorter than him, but had almost twice the strength of a grown man when she put her mind to it. She worked on holding him back. "Keep him still so I can shoot his face!" Kanna yelled, aiming her gun between his eyes. Instantly Adrianna moved in front of the boy. "NO MOM HE'S WITH US!" she exclaimed, knowing Kanna wouldn't shoot. Adrianna couldn't heal. "Both of you CALM DOWN" Meanwhile Laila was debating jumping after her father. Kanna looked over, rolling her eyes. "Oh calm down, he can't die" "But Nanami can! DAD STOP!" Laila called out, doubtful that he could even hear her. Downtown "Thanks" Crystal said with a smile, leaning back and letting out a tiny sigh. "And don't worry, I should be fine" She said with a smile "We actually learned how to do stitches and stuff in training....I'm much better at healing than fighting" ....Actually she was VERY good at healing...It was her specialty. |

-Warehouse at the Docks- “No, no hurting them...” Blake whispered, shaking his head. Then things began to get crazy, shots being fired. He looked scared, his shadows beginning to act up. “EVERYONE STOP!” Aaron ran forward, his hands glowing brightly. He held them up, letting the light explode from his hands. It wouldn't hurt anyone, but it would blind pretty much everyone but himself, trying to get them to stop fighting... “I sense...oh no...” Old Man Sensei said, looking towards a warehouse. “What is it?” Galv asked, looking worried. “That warehouse...something is happening...” Old Man Sensei said. Galv paused, frowning. “Stay with Melanie,” he said, then ran forward, hurrying towards the warehouse. I have the feeling Kanna may shoot Galv “accidentally.” -Streets- Sage paused, then smiled towards Joyce, “Alright then, we won't split up for now. But if you collapse, I'm carrying you home, okay?” |

[Warehouse at the Docks] Musashi was amazed at how strong Adrianna was. Girls could usually stop him dead in his tracks, but not like this. He struggled, trying to get out of her grip, until Adrianna yelled at Kanna and called her ‘mom’. So this was Adrianna and Laila’s mother… the woman who had tried to kill him, apparently, and who was connected to some kind of plot to attack New York. Musashi’s eyes narrowed. While he might have had the hots for Kanna’s daughters, he also had a solemn vow to protect New York… and even if the Sakura Team was gone, that still mattered to Musashi. “Why the hell are you trying to kill me?” Musashi demanded. And then Blake blinded everyone, and Musashi had to gasp and clench his eyes shut. [Downtown] Sama frowned for a moment, unsure if it was wise to avoid a trip to the hospital, but she seemed pretty confident. “Okay.” He said simply, leaning back, and then he groaned. His shoulder had been cut on the glass. “Err… maybe you can heal me too?” |

Waterfront safehouse When Snake burst through the back of the room, there was only one enemy that confronted him, and he was holding a strange-looking knife...he held it up to his hand and cut himself with it, at which point his body began to change...he swelled, and contorted, his body taking on what would generously be described as an overgrown caricutre of the human form. The contorted features grinned at Snake, and it began to move with speed greater than should have been possible at him... ...meanwhile, Didymus moved up and gunned down another agent, the one that Gemini had wounded, and aimed his weapon. "What's going on? TALK." The agent spit at him. We don't have time for this... he thought, considering what he should do... |

Warehouse at the Docks "Ow!" "Ow!" "Oh for the love of, Aaron stop that!" Kanna yelled, bringing her hands up and dimming the lights. When she got a good look at everyone she sighed. Both Adrianna and Laila were rubbing their eyes...They didn't have the same powers as their brother and mother. "What the hell is going on here!?" Kanna exclaimed, moving her gun down for a second and looking at her children. "Laila come over and let me see your stomach" Kanna was a confusing mom...She just shot her daughter and was now checking on her. "I'm fine!" Laila said "It's already healed! Now why are YOU here?!" Kanna was quiet for a moment, before looking around..."Hold on, someone else is here" she said, changing the subject suddenly. She sensed the shadows...They belonged to her daughter's child...Though she hadn't seen him since he was a baby so he was a threat just like Nanami, Marco and Musashi.... [...] "Galv don't!" Melanie exclaimed, rushing for him but stopping. She felt a jolt of pain in her torso. She doubted it would be smart for her to follow...But she had a feeling if she didn't Galv would die. "We have to help him...." Downtown "Of course" she said with a smile leaning in and kissing him quickly on the cheek. "I still think you are crazy though...How did we even survive that!?" Streets "Don't worry, I won't collapse" Joyce said with a smile, though she felt wobbly on her feet. "Well....Hopefully I won't" |

[Downtown] Sama rubbed the back of his neck and his cheeks turned a little red from the kiss. “Ahaha… well… I’ve done stupid things before.” Understatement of the century. [Waterfront Safehouse] Snake blinked. He was actually not too surprised to see man transform into a monster. He hadn’t quite expected it, but he had seen some pretty freaky stuff in the Great War. “Great…” Snake growled. Then the creature rushed at him with impressive speed. Snake fired a single shot and then dove to get out of the way! [Warehouse at the Docks] Musashi frowned, and now that Adrianna was rubbing her eyes, he had gotten free of her hold and he stepped forward towards Aaron and Kanna. The sword was still in his hand, but he wasn’t going to attack her just yet. “I asked you a question, lady! Why the hell are you trying to kill me?” […] In the bay, meanwhile, Nanami and Rica had disappeared beneath the murky waters. A moment later, they both reappeared floating on the surface. Neither seemed too shaken up by the spill, but Rica had a raised eyebrow. “Well now, this is certainly interesting, little puppy.” Rica grinned, and suddenly he jumped up from the water and beneath his feet he formed a small platform of ice to stand on. That caught Nanami’s attention, and she did the same. They were both standing on floating blocks of ice in the bay, each now ignoring the warehouse, instead focused on one another. “… I must admit, it’s been a while since I fought someone who could play the same game as me…” Rica grinned, glaring over at Nanami. His sunglasses were lost in the wave, as was his pistol, but he did not seem to mind. Nanami was not as talkative in battle. She was already trying to calculate exactly what she would need to do in order to kill this obnoxious man. She did not realize he had a rapid healing factor, however, so right now she was planning on the quickest way to get a needle made of ice into Rica’s windpipe. Nanami rushed forward, running across the surface of the water. Well, not really – she was actually creating platforms of ice with her feet, so that everywhere she stepped, a platform would instantly spring up. Rica was staying put on his platform. He raised his hand, attracting a glob of water from the bay. He then flicked his fingers, freezing small bits of water in the shape of small spikes and shooting them with the speed and velocity of a bullet towards Nanami. Nanami gasped and threw her arms out in front of her, causing a wall of water to shoot up in front of her and instantly freeze. The “ice bullets” from Rica smashed into the wall of ice and cracked it, but it held. Nanami jumped over the wall of ice she had created and came down at Rica from above, each of her hands now holding a dagger made of ice. She landed on Rica’s ice platform, and as she came down she managed to burry one of the daggers into Rica’s back, she spun around and stabbed him in the chest with the other. Rica gasped, now stabbed twice in a matter of seconds. The ball of water he was using for bullets splashed into the bay harmlessly and Rica stumbled off the platform, hitting the bay. The water became darker with his blood, and it certainly would appear that Rica was dead. Nanami turned and looked back towards the warehouse. She ran towards the warehouse, now worried that Musashi would get himself killed by Laila and Adrianna’s mother, but before she got halfway back to the warehouse she felt a sharp pain stab into her back and she screamed out, losing her focus and plummeting face first into the water. Nanami hit the water hard and sunk beneath the surface. She wasn’t worried about drowning, since she would literally have to be unconscious for that to be a possibility. Instead, she was worried about the pain in her back and the blood that was quickly leaking out of her wound. It was similar to a gunshot wound, but much more shallow having been made by ice. She jumped up, out of the surface of the water, and when she landed back on the water her feet created a new platform of ice. She looked over, and saw that Rica was back on a platform as well, and he once again had a glob of water in front of him, using it as the ammunition to “shoot” it like a gun. Nanami preferred stabbing weapons, though she could have done the same trick. She darted towards Rica, and he immediately opened fire, shooting several ice bullets at her with such speed it was like running towards a machinegun. Nanami jumped to the side and threw out one of her arms, shooting a whip of water at Rica which hit his face and immediately covered his head in a “bubble”. Rica did not struggle for breath like most people would; both because he was capable of controlling water and therefore keeping it out of his lungs, and also because he could heal. Rica fired more ice bullets, and Nanami was forced to drop the water whip when she had to dodge, running across the water and trying to circle around Rica. Rica turned with her, continuing to fire at her. Nanami jumped and when she hit the water she kicked it, creating a wave that shot towards Rica much faster than waves normally travel. Rica was knocked off the ice platform and into the water, but he slapped his arms against the water and made a similar wave, knocking Nanami back into the bay. There was a seemingly quiet moment, and the bay started to settle, with them both still underwater. Then both Nanami and Rica jumped from out of the bay and landed in front of one another. This time, they created a much larger platform of ice, one that was round and extended several yards past either of them. The platform was also connected; they were standing on the same area. “You’ve got some impressive moves, but that wound will kill you without treatment.” Rica chuckled. “And the ones I gave you should have already claimed your life,” Nanami spat back, annoyed that she was actually losing this fight. “What can I say? I cheat.” Rica chuckled. Nanami used some of the water to create new frozen daggers, one in each hand. Rica decided to drop the bullets for now, and instead crafted a two-handed sword out of ice. “… Sorry babe, normally I love to dance a deadly tango with a dark-haired knife wielding woman, but I have a kid who I need to get back to.” Rica chuckled darkly. Nanami was not in the mood for banter. The ice around her feet was already becoming stained by the steady drip-drip-drip of blood from her wound. She was in a lot of pain, though she was not yet lightheaded, which was a good sign. “Then let’s end this.” Nanami growled, and she rushed towards Rica. She was much faster than him, something Rica realized immediately when the slash of his sword missed by a mile and she was behind him, jamming both daggers into his back. Rica grunted and coughed up blood. He might have had a healing factor, but there were some injuries that took time to heal from. He spun around, slashing at Nanami and catching her across the stomach with a deep gash. Nanami grunted, biting her lip and jumping back. She pressed her hand down against her stomach and felt the blood soak over her fingers. Rica came charging at her, but she quickly crafted a sword of her blood and thrust it forward, stabbing Rica in the face. Rica didn’t even make a sound, he just stopped dead in his tracks and stumbled to his knees. Nanami kicked him off the platform, and once he was in the water she clenched her fist, causing water to freeze all around Rica’s body, encasing him in ice and making him sink beneath the surface of the harbor. Pain radiated through Nanami’s body and she was losing a lot of blood, but she had more important concerns. |

Waterfront safehouse Didymus sighed. He hated to do this. Forgive me of this please, Father, if indeed this be wrong... "I have two women who I believe are in mortal danger I'm assigned to protect. You are an enemy combatant who's been shooting at me." He paused. "You're bleeding out. If you value your life, give me something." "You wouldn't kill a prisoner of war, would you?" the agent spat. "You'll bleed out yourself if I just stand here. I won't need to take your life." Didymus shot back. The agent began to waver, it appeared. "If you're all who I think you are, is this the state you want to die in? If you get your rituals down right, you'd better HOPE it's all just misunderstood. Otherwise, some might say the devil's owed a soul...so you can either tell me what's going on and maybe start to reverse that trend, or we can sit here..." Meanwhile, the monster moved was hit, but seemed to press on and with surprising agility, stopped itself and lunged at Snake again! |

Warehouse at the Docks Were all these people showing up now related to each other? Marco knew from his upbringing that Italian families seemed to be huge, but from what he could tell, these people weren't Italian. At least, however, he was smart enough to remain hidden, when all heck broke loose inside the warehouse... Though Musashi jumping out almost got him to move out himself. Luckily, it seemed his harem was good enough to keep this crazy lady who apparently was their mother, from shooting him right away. "Hold on, someone else is here" "Damnit..." Marco whispered to himself, thinking that he himself had been found. He only had one shot, and aiming with a briefcase wasn't exactly the easiest thing a person could do. But a few moments later, what would normally be used as a grapple-line-hook shot from out where Marco was hiding, at the hand of Kanna's holding the gun. Hopefully, even though it might not knock the gun out of her hand, it'd be enough of a distraction he needed to regain the advantage here. Marco then followed this up by quickly running out from his hiding place, with his briefcase (wire still retracting back into his briefcase). "What are you just standing around for?" he then yelled at Musashi, shoving him down and away, as he got in between him and Kanna. "GET OUT OF HERE!" Then once he got within range, still with the main goal of being between Kanna and Musashi, Marco then threw a punch at Kanna, though his "punch" was more aimed towards using his ability on Kanna's gun-holding hand/arm. If he connected with her there, she wouldn't be able to shoot at them, at least with that arm. Even if she was ambidextrous like Train was, he'd have a slight advantage with her still having to get a gun in her other hand, to shoot at them, and that slight second could just be what they needed. About now Marco was thinnking it WOULD have been nice if Train was around to watch his back, today... |
