Library Another girl with a certain love for books was here. Of course, maybe she was supposed to be working in a workshop somewhere, but she needed a break, and looking for a good book was one way to get the stress of training off her mind. KxS pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose as she found a book to read. She smiled and took the book, willing to check it out. Shimera's Abode A young woman reaching her 20s gazed outside a window. So much was going on in the city, she knew it. But the dreaming Shimera could only look out the window and see the buildings. Her mother didn't like the idea of Shimera wandering the streets among engineers with oily fingers and greasy hair, and people with guns worried her poor mother the most. The last thing that woman wanted was for her long-haired daughter to get hurt. Shimera knew that, but the thing was she didn't care about oily fingers and guns. She just wanted someone other than her super-boring maids to talk to. |

Slums: Spork Residence The young girl that Hammah had been calling out for, Colette, was lying on the floor of her room, paper and a few broken crayons in front of her. The girl was mid-creation, working hard on a picture of what looked like a dirigible.....Sorta. In places it wasn't too accurate and perhaps a bit sloppy, but it was the girl's best work yet. When she heard her brother call out for her Colette looked up and made her way to her bedroom door, standing in the doorway. "What's wrong?" the girl called out, looking around. Eventually she realized that her brother was in the workshop (also known as his room on mot nights) so she made her way over. While the girl was definitely Jimi and Hammah's little sister Colette looked a bit different than the two. Her hair was red and fell around her shoulders and she was much shorter than both boys, but she did share the same bright green eyes as her oldest brother. "What did you fix?" Slums: Railroads While the slums were filled with all sorts of different people one sight which was always foreign was a girl in pretty clothes. Usually these young ladies who were dumb enough to trek into foreign territory were mugged about four seconds after arrival...But not this one. Probably because most people recognized her....Just not in those clothes. The girl's name was Crystal Rose, though she often just went by Crystal, and she was one of the inhabitants of the rough area. Working as an engineer and a steam producer the girl just barely found the money to survive...But somehow she had managed to afford a very nice dress. It must have been a special occasion. The girl, who was now balancing with her hands out as she walked the length of the railroad, stopped at Sama and looked down at him, poking him slightly with her polished boot. "You're not going tonight are you?" she asked cryptically Slums: Old Shop Eventually the bleeding had stopped and Sophie went back to work, looking a bit worse for wear but able to move around at least. No one in the slums ever questioned a few bruises, it was just part of living here! It seemed as if today was a slow day, and even her grandfather knew it as he excused himself to go lay down for a bit, leaving Sophie in charge of the shop. The Narroh Estate "Momma! I found Jason!" Melanie called out happily, as the two made their way back to the bedroom where Kanna was waiting. It seemed as if Kanna had decided to put some make up on in the meantime, and was now focusing on her eyes. "Took you long enough" she muttered, looking up as she finished. The older woman looked at Jason and sighed. "I supose that will do" This basically meant that yet again Jason had fooled Kanna. He and Melanie grinned. "Come along children, it's a long trip to the party and I don't want to be late." |

[Military Post 0014] By the time Didymus returned, Alice was outside at her unit's truck. She was standing on the side, overseeing as her people loaded a truck with several large wooden crates. “Come on now, put your backs into it! We need to move, people! I don't want to dawdle all day!” Alice shouted, encouraging her men. “Oh geez, give it a rest lieutenant, we'll going.” Oreldo, a handsome soldier who was somewhat of a player complained. “Quiet Oreldo, you'll get us yelled at!” Martis, a fellow soldier in the unit with glasses, yelled at him. Alice sighed; and then Didymus arrived, offering help. “We do! You could always shoot at these slackers to motivate them...” Alice paused, pretending to contemplate that order. “But it's probably best if you load some of the boxes.” Someone could ask Alice why she wasn't carrying boxes... but she does have a dagger. [Slums: Railroad] Sama had just finished installing a necessary screw in the rail-line when suddenly he felt a boot poke him in the side. He paused and turned his head up, looking at the owner of the offending foot. “You mean that big fancy party the aristocrats are throwing?” Sama inquired, standing up and looking to Crystal. They certainly were an odd sight to see. She was a beautiful woman in a beautiful dress; and he was a young man covered in dirt and oil from the rail line, and dressed rather normally. He shrugged his shoulders. “I don't know. Mr. Stark bought me a tuxedo and told me I should go, but I don't think I'm the fancy party type.” He paused, picking up a few of his tools and throwing them into the man-purse of tools he always carried. “... Are you going?” |

Slums: Railroad "Working it actually" Crystal said, hopping off of the railroad lines and spinning around. Her dress was large enough to twirl quite successfully, and looked similar to what Crystal had seen in storefronts on the nicer part of the city. "Can you believe these are the dresses they give their waitresses?! Just think of all of the simply gorgeous outfits that are going to be there! I bet they'll all cost a fortune!" Of course Sama would probably have no interest in the dresses of the aristocrats who were coming to the fancy party. "Oh you should go! It would be a great place to rub elbows with the best of the best! I'm sure they would all love to meet you!" The girl then giggled "And just think of all the pretty girls you can dance with" .....Sorry Sama, you're not dating her yet in this RP either ![]() |

[Slums: Railroad] “Oh, so you're gonna be a waitress at the party? That explains the fancy outfit.” Sama grinned at her as he wiped his hands on an old cloth that he promptly stuffed into his bag. Then she was giggling, telling him to go, and to think of the girls he could dance with. Sama rolled his eyes. “Oh suuuuure, the broke engineer who spends all day working on the railroad. I'm sure I'll have the girls all over me.” Sama was speaking with a lot of sarcasm. |

Slums: Railroad "Well not with that attitude you won't!" Crystal scolded, whacking the boy with a parasol she was also carrying "You just have to clean up a bit, then with that tux and a bit of hair gel-" She paused, looking at the boy's hopeless mess of hair "-okay, a LOT of hair gel you'll have the ladies lining up to dance!" |

Slums: Old Shop A young boy had wandered into this shop... though, he definitely looked out of place. He looked to be about 12-13 years of age, and was dressed in a rather expensive looking suit. The boy was Spoony, and he was co-heir to one of the wealthiest enterprises in all of Hydron. So... why would someone like him be here? Quite simply by accident, actually. He has teleportation powers that he had been testing out, and he had managed to make several teleporting trips from his room all the way here. In fact, he didn't so much as wander into the shop as he just simply appeared out of thin air. He had only recently discovered his powers, and was being... rather reckless with them. As soon as he noticed that he wasn't alone in this shop, seeing Sophie, he coughed and said, "Uh... hello." He wasn't sure what kind of reaction he'd get from someone seeing him just suddenly appear in their shop. Slums: Caskett Residence Rock had just come home from a hard day's work at the coal mines. He was pretty dirty, and was carrying a bag filled with some things he had dug up of the non-coal variety. Namely, metal parts, and even a few precious gems. "I'm home!", the boy announced. |

Slums: Old Shop Sophie was often guilty of daydreaming on the job, since with the economy as it was now business was slow at best....But usually she didn't imagine boys appearing from thin air..... The girl blinked and took a few steps back, wondering if those guys from before had hit her harder than she had first conceived....But no, there was definitely a kid in her shop dressed like he was going to a funeral....Or maybe he was a midget and he was actually here to take away their shop. Well she would eventually have to ask right? "W-Who are you?" she asked hesitantly, moving to grab something hard to defend herself if need be....A wrench would do nicely! |

Military Post 0014 “We do! You could always shoot at these slackers to motivate them...” Alice paused, pretending to contemplate that order. “But it's probably best if you load some of the boxes.” She's an aristocrat, alright. Didymus chuckled a bit, more at his own sarcasm than Alice's, then looked back. "Alright, gentlemen, you heard the lady! Let's get these boxes loaded!" After stowing their weapons, Didymus and a number of other men, one of whom seemed to be wearing a helmet down over his eyes, and another of was very large, but perhaps fat, and bald, went over and started loading the supplies in the truck. Is this really all of them...? Didymus mused. Just the aristocrat, and these two...? I could have sworn that the field team should be larger...do they really expect three people to be able to clean up the slums...? Perhaps I should ask about it when the time allows... Soon enough, the supplies were loaded. "Alright, let's mount up, and I suppose you'll have to show us the way, lieutenant." Didymus finally said. "Was easy. It is good to be giant man." the large bald man said. |

[Slums: Railroad] Sama shook his head, laughing a bit. “I don't think there's enough hair gel in all of Hydron...” He chuckled again. He had long since given up on ever having handsome-guy hair. He spent too much time working on machines, and he always had a bit of a static charge. He straightened up and turned to her. “Well, I suppose I'll go. At the very least, there's bound to be some fancy rich guy foods there.” [Slums: Caskett Residence] As Rock returned home from the coal mines, a young lady appeared waiting for him. She was blond and dressed all in red – and carrying a wrench. “Rock! Welcome back!” Roll grinned to her brother, jumping down the last few steps. She paused as she approached him, and then frowned. “Heeeeey! You got your armor all dirty AGAIN! Didn't I tell you to knock it off?” He did work in a coal mine. [Military Post 0014] Alice grinned, and looked around to the team. “Excellent! Alright everyone, these supplies are of vital importance! They're going to feed people who have no food, and bring good clothes to people who haven't had a chance to change in who knows how long! It may not be the glamor of the wall, but this is incredibly important!” Alice crossed her arms. “I don't want any mistakes! We're here to help people.” |

Slums Here they were. This place was depressing. Didymus was a "commoner" by birth, but he didn't pretend to know how people lived in the ashes of poverty-he was from an upper-middle class family and had never truly wanted for food or clothes or even toys and books while growing up. That didn't mean his heart still didn't go out to them, and he was quiet as they drove in, after briefing his unit. Finally, the trucks pulled to a halt, and Didymus and his unit got out, rifles slung over their backs. "Alright, lieutenant, just let us know what kind of perimeter you want. If alright, I'd like to keep a couple guards here, too, just to keep an eye on things in case something gets out of hand. As for me, unless you really need me doing something else...I may be keeping a patrol route, coming and going and keeping an eye on things..." |

Slums: Old Shop Spoony laughed nervously, "Oh, uh... I'm just... uh... you saw me kinda just appear out nowhere, didn't you?" Spoony was hoping to keep his powers secret, but now this random girl was witness to them. Slums: Caskett Residence Rock sweatdropped, "Sorry, Roll. But, uh, it's kinda hard not to..." Rock took the bag he was carrying and opened it, "But, I found a lot of great parts that you can use for your automail! I even found a few gems we can sell for more parts!" Inside, mixed with the metal parts, were some rubies, gemstones, and diamonds. Rock was more than a coal miner... he was a treasure hunter, and a good one at that! |

Slums: Old Shop Sophie didn't talk, instead the girl nodded slowly and continued to watch the boy in front of her. "...Who are you?" She asked again "If it's about money then come back later when my grandpa is up" By default the girl assumed they owed something, after all most people in the slums were in debt to the elite. |

[Slums] Alice nodded her head. The girl's demeanor had changed... she was looking out at a group of the local residents. They looked down in the dumps, wearing practical rags of clothing and looking quite impoverished. “... How can we not have cleaned this up after five years...?” Alice muttered to herself, then she remembered Didymus was standing there and she flushed a bit and resumed her normal tough-as-nails stature. “I don't want to spook anyone away from us, so keep the perimeter light. Of course a couple of bodies nearby is good. I don't anticipate any problems, but I'd rather we're ready for it. Patrol if you want to, just stay nearby in case you're needed.” Alice sighed, and stepped up on a large piece of wood that was lying on the ground. “Excuse me everyone! We have relief aid available here! We have clean water, and food, as well as clothing and some medical supplies, they're free and available to whoever needs them!” [Slums: Railroad] Sama shook his head. “It'd be weird for you to wait on me. You don't hafta do that.” He paused and looked around. “I need to go back to the workshop to get ready for the party. You want to come? I'm sure Mr. Stark wouldn't mind if you caught a ride with us on the train.” [Slums: Caskett Residence] Roll sighed and walked over, taking a rag from off a table and wiping some dirt away from his armor. “I'm glad you found some good parts, and some gems, but you really should be careful. You know I worry about you in that mine all day...” |
