“You will fail.” Shinigami simply replied, and he closed his eyes and began to gather his strength. He would need it. He needed to break free from this dimensional cube, and it would not be a simple task…

[Kubo Park]

As the black blood came shooting towards her, Nanami knew this could be trouble. She couldn’t allow it entry into her body or she’d be as lost as Lavan. She concentrated, freezing the blood for a moment – it was too much work and would require too much energy to actually freeze it completely; but she did manage to slow it down as she tried to force it away from her.

Damn it. This is bad. This is very, very bad.

She did have one trick, but she would wait and see if she could escape its clutches

"..." Shiori was very quiet, as Haruka jumped in front of her again. This time, however, it seemed as though that Haruka had finally shown a bit of just why she was demanding what she was demanding.

From what she said, this had to be about her part-youkai side. No one was supposed to know about that, though, at Kubo. No one except the higher-ups at the school. ...And there was that incident at Lavender Town, but all of the students who were along on that seemed to be OK with keeping that a secret. And there was Musashi... He wouldn't say anything about it, even as Musashi.

But maybe his dad had figured it out about her. He WAS a really strong person who helped Principal Shinigami and that whole group, against the Overlord. But would he tell and send Haruka on this mission, about this?

"...I may just be the embodiment of everything Musashi should not like, but I am his friend, and he was my first and best friend of anyone I have ever met. I will protect him and his right to strive for what he wants, against anyone, even if it kills me."

Shiori spoke very quietly. She would never say that all in front of Musashi (especially since he'd probably try to completely misinterpret the context to what she said into something probably way more perverted), but to Haruka, she didn't care.

"You aren't stopping me. It is his choice, if he wants to be rid of me, not yours..."

She then turned away from Haruka once more, to start to walk away.

Outside Avril, Nanami, and Solei's Room

"...Just what's going on here again?" Avril questioned, as everyone left.

"Well... there goes the tour..." she then added, noticing more of what seemed to be occuring

Tree

"That was pretty awesome, though! At least what I saw of it!" Damion happily answered Aboy, after she told him that he did what she wanted him to do.

Though soon enough, a mist seemed to fall over the area, and Aboy used a spell.

"...what's happening?"

I can't see what you're imagining
-Kubo Park-

The girl was attacking Galv from all sides. He focused, sending his electricity outwards in a sphere, trying to take all the girls around him down at once!

Lily was starting to break, barely able to keep her spell up...

A figure appeared, standing now in front of her, blocking the Black Blood that was coming, but he didn't seem to be effected...

“Damnit kid... I'm retired,” Samuel said, scowling, “I have a wife. I have kids. One of which is already here fighting...”

Samuel knew Galv could handle himself for now, but this kid, Ras... he needed to be dealt with too...

-Kubo-

Sacred Energy spread around Cess, as he stood atop the building Asmer was heading for, holding his sword at his side.

His aura seemed to burn. This wasn't like when he was fighting Shinigami-Sama, this was... different. His power felt more... focused.

“You take another step forward, Asmer, and I will cut you down where you stand,” Cess said coldly, pointing his sword towards Asmer.

He knew he stood almost no chance against someone of Asmer's caliber... but he was sure as heck was going to try.

-Endsville Streets-

A white coated figure moved through the streets at high speeds, magic around him, protecting him from the Black Mist...

“Damn, damn, damn,” Spork said under his breath. Jimi was back home. It had taken a lot of convincing, but Jimi said it was more important for him to help protect his expectant mother, while Spork hurried to Kubo to see if he couldn't save Hammah...

-Trees-

“I think... It's Black Blood...” Aboy answered, “It's really bad stuff...”

She shook a little, staying close to Damion. She was terrified...

Ras was still floating in the air, pummeling spells downward. Completely mindless, the boy looked more like a moving doll, not even something that was alive. His motions were somewhat jerky, but precise, and he completed spell incantations and runic symbols in record time, beating any previous skill he had. Black Blood was an insidious thing, and it was using Ras's potential to the fullest.

And the boy was an absolutely terrifying spellcaster. Even besides the fact that he was controlled by Black Blood, the red-skinned boy had a ridiculously large power core due to his heritage, and spells came to him as naturally as breathing. He was such a good caster in fact that more often than not, he shortened the incantations of spells to but a few words, and lost very little of the potency of the spells, and that was without the current improvements to his speed and precision.

Now, the boy was a monster.

As Samuel got in the way, Ras's attention was turned directly to the older man. The frost spikes tipped with Black Blood showered the man from all sides, but were simply deflected by his skin. Ras's intermittent giggling became more frequent, and then he exploded into action... And the area around Samuel exploded.

A flare spell. A frost spell. A frost rain spell. An acidic rain. A wall of moving blades that merged with the rain of acid. A poison cloud that ate away flesh. Spell after spell, incantation after shortened incantation went off against Samuel in a hail of spells that would make even experienced fighters wonder what the hell the kid was on at the moment.

But nothing worked. And Ras's giggling grew until it was full-blown laughter as he rained spells in a chain that would put even the instructors on the defensive.

---------------------

[Endsville Streets]

As Spork got closer to Kubo and to his destination, he only had a moment of time to duck out of the way as a shape leapt out of the Black-Blood Fog, almost cutting him across the side with bladed claws. The shape leapt past Spork, jumped in place on one leg, cartwheeling off to the side, bounced off of a nearby wall and making a motion as though swimming through the air, wrapped around a nearby street light like a snake, and stopped to stand on the balls of its feet on top of the lamp post.

It was a thin, wiry form of one of Asmer's soldiers, a twisted rictus of what used to be a denizen of Makai, wrapped in chain and its soul turned black as night, eyes glaring balefully from underneath black wrappings and chains. It swayed from side to side in a way that suggested that the shape's skeleton was either flexible beyond anything seen before, or it was simply broken in places and the creature ignored the breaks.

Whatever the case, the soldier was then joined by a second, their eyes glaring balefully at Spork, their very presence radiating fear and horror that would make lesser souls flinch or run in fright.

These were the things that slaughtered Shinigami-Sama's Alpha reaper squad. These were the things that infected Lavan with Black Blood and Insanity. And they had a new target.

------------------------

[Trees]

The mist was kept away, but it boiled and concentrated just outside of Aboy's protective spell, and the form of a little girl stepped out of the shadows, dressed in a gothic black-and-white frilly dress, smiling innocently.

She giggled, looking at Aboy and Damion, and bounced on the tips of her toes.

And the two KNEW that there was something VERY wrong about her.

"Do you want to play?"

------------------------

[Kubo]

Asmer completely ignored Cess, and simply continued walking, stepping closer and closer to the academy. By this time, the soldiers he had let loose, those twisted, twisting things that resembled spirits, were alreaqdy at the Kubo walls, and multiple smashing sounds came from the windows of the academy as the things burst into the building, and spread out, looking for any and all victims they could find.

Seconds afterwards, the screaming began.

In the meantime, the brave boy who just arrived in Kubo and had jumped out the window, was rooted in place out of sheer terror. The moment his eyes fell upon one of Asmer's soldiers, he froze, the horror of its appearance and the power of its fearful aura rooting the boy completely in place. The fox-boy was shaking like a leaf, and all of his instincts warred with one another, creating a blockage in his head that completely whited out any form of thought. He couldn't think, he couldn't move, he couldn't even BREATHE as he watched one of these thing come closer and closer and closer...

His feet gave out, shaking too badly as he collapsed, the figure walking up to him, drawing its arm back, and swinging a clawed hand right for the boy's unprotected throat, with the fox-boy unable to defend himself at all...

Haruka blinked and stood slack jawed and silent as Shiori spoke. She raised an eyebrow, and at one point opened her mouth to speak but suddenly closed it. Shiori’s words sounded… true.

The messy-haired girl frowned and suddenly spun around, once more jumping in front of Shiori. This time the antagonistic expression had softened considerably, and she looked more confused than anything.

“… I don’t get it. Why do you care so much about that idiot? You DO realize he’s an idiot, right? I’m pretty sure the only thing that passes for a thought in his head is when he’s obsessing over swords… or panties. How can you actually like that guy?”

[Endsville]

“… okay, so that’s not good.”

Sama peeked out the window of his apartment on the edge of Endsville and spotted an enormous black mist seeping into the town. That, combined with the fact he could no longer sense his father made him extremely worried.

“This is going to be one of those bad days.”

Sama snapped his fingers and caused his Reaper Robes to appear, and his scythe appeared in his hands. He disappeared from the apartment and reappeared outside; and immediately he turned and started dashing towards Kubo.

(HA! I think you forgot Nanami.)

-Kubo Park-

The spells hit Samuel, who crouched down and brought his arms up. Once they died down, he stood back up, his shirt now in tatters, looking annoyed.

“I liked that shirt...” Samuel said. Samuel was... unusual, and it seemed no spells had harmed him. But he couldn't seem to cast any spells of his own.

So instead he now charged at Ras, aiming a punch at him!

Galv focused, using the energy Raiju was giving him, trying to blast at the various clones of the girl!

-Streets-

Spork came to a stop as two of the creatures appeared, and he merely smirked.

His own father, Xehanort, had put him through rigorous, horrible training when he was younger. Monsters... didn't bother him so much.

He held up his hands, a Keyblade appearing in each hand, his right holding his very own creation, the Spork Keyblade.

“I've seen worse,” he merely said, then slashed his Keyblades downwards, sending out a wave of light energy!

-Kubo Academy-

Cess focused, jumping into the air now.

“SHOTGUN!” Cess yelled, throwing his left hand forward, sending out a blast of Sacred Energy at several of the creatures heading towards Kubo, including one for Asmer!

As the claws came towards Hiko they would be blocked by a powerful blast of water.

Walter frowned. He had been trying to find Sire at Kubo, but had been unsuccessful... Now all this was happening, and he was trying to find Erin, and instead ran into Hiko.

“You better get on your feet if you want to keep living,” Walter simply said to newcomer. The terror in the air didn't seem to bother him. He never really did feel much emotionally.

He was more worried about Erin... who would be reacting to all this.

-Tree-

Aboy stared at the girl, eyes wide. She took a step back, bringing up her Keyblade. This... was bad...

“Damion... we're in trouble...” she whispered softly.

"He is more than just that..." Shiori was beginning to get frustrated over not being allowed to leave by Haruka, "which you could not know, as absent as you are."

"He's a lot better of a person than you give him credit for."

Tree

With the girl randomly appearing, and Aboy seeming very nervous about things, Damion sprang into action immediately, not even verbally responding to either the girl or Aboy.

Instead, he pointed his hand towards the girl, as it started to glow, and then instantly shot a number of Power Beam blasts at her, as soon as his gun materialized in his hand.

“Is he really?” Haruka asked, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.

“When we were kids and I’d have friends over, he’d lift their skirts. He wasn’t even old enough to know the first thing about that kind of stuff – he just did it instinctively! Plus did you know instead of a teddy bear, he slept with a sword?” Haruka continued to tell stories, all of which seemed to only exist to show what a moron Musashi truly was.

As Nanami froze and grappled with the Black-Blood manifest, she managed to slow it down enough so she could brush it off without it harming her. But it grappled the whole way, trying to stick to her and pulling on skin, desperately trying to get into her and infect her. And freezing it took even more than trying to frost over another person! This stuff was alive, it writhed and moved and grappled, and it was ridiculously resistant to power influences.

Trying to control this stuff would be an uphill battle, if it didn;t use any sort of controlling link as an infection feedback.

And through it all, Nanami heard whispers in her mind, just at the edge of sanity, like a thousand voices gibbering incoherently.

But as she got the blood off of her and threw the blob aside, she was bum-rushed by Lavan, who this time aimed a black-flame-encased punch directly to her center of gravity, trying to slam her with physical strength. But normally, he wasn't all that strong. Though who knows, perhaps the little girl's strength moved with the Black Blood...

---

While Nanami continued to struggle against Lavan and multiple Black Blood embodiments, Ras was being targeted by Samuel. The invincible man had years of experience, power and knowledge under his belt, and far outclassed Ras in every aspect. The spells the boy was throwing didn't work, and he was getting beat in the face as a result.

He boy didn't even dodge.

Samuel's full-strength blow connected with the boy's jaw, the sound of cracking bones filling the air as Ras's head spun to the side... And he just laughed. He laughed and laughed, his head snapped sideways from a blow that could have possibly broken the boy's neck. But he was still alive, still under control...

And now, his laughter was full of hysteria.

But as Samuel was shown exactly how far Ras was gone, three Black-Blood embodiments of the little girl in the dress came out of the dark, two of them trying to pierce their arms through Samuel's back, while the last one headed for Lily, trying the same thing.

--------------------------------------------------------

[Kubo Academy]

Cess's aura of sacred energy, produced by him, was negating the effects of both insanity and fear, making the boy completely immune to the more insidious and predominant effects. As he rained sacred energy down below, the blasts impacted around where the wraith-like soldiers passed as the things dodged with unnatural agility, only three of Cess's shotgun "pellets" finding purchase in their targets. The blasts that did hit went right through the creatures where they impacted, causing what looked like grievous, bleeding wounds that bled Black Blood...

But the creatures didn't even slow down.

Cess, however, was prevented from further interfering as the little girl on Asmer's shoulder disappeared in a pool of black liquid and seeped into the ground. Asmer himself looked up, facing the jumping Cess, eyes glaring balefully.

"... Seiki... Sacred Energy... Your kind have been eliminated for a reason. I will end your line as well."

And with just a motion of his hand, Asmer slashed across... And the air around Cess erupted.

Blades. Blackened blades and bloodied chains and black tears in the air erupted all around the boy, covering an area of almost a hundred feet in diameter, tearing apart everything inside its area of influence. It tore at the air, Cess himself, it tore apart molecules and shredded anything that had substance at all. It was an attack with no point of origin, an attack with no vector and no set angle, no sign that it was coming and no foreshadowing to its size or danger.

It was an ability with only a single purpose: to maim and kill instantly without warning or remorse from every direction simultaneously.

And Cess was the target, stuck in mid-air, apparently unable to defend himself... But then again, Asmer didn't know what this Sacred Energy user was capable of...

-----------------------------------------------------------------

[Streets]

Spork was one of the most powerful combatants that have joined into the fray so far. Even aside from Shingami-Sama's Alpha Reaper Team, Spork was good enough to be in it and more due to his mastery of the Keyblade and its abilities. And now, wielding the most appropriate element for the current situation, a blast of light was headed for the two figures that wrapped themselves around the lamp post.

In response, the two figures scattered and went separate ways. One left, one right, both moving very rapidly and erratically, flanking Spork from both sides. Then, without warning, both leapt and began slashing away at Spork, even as they came from some distance away, two dervishes of black claws with nothing in their reach...

And black tears appeared in the air, cutting away around Spork and trying to hack him apart, as though their claws were tearing through space and trying to slash him to ribbons from a distance.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

[Tree]

Damion's reaction was perfect, his reflexes honed by combat training and his weapon perfect for taking down enemies from range. Before the girl even managed to blink, several blasts of light punctured several holes in her torso. Her eyes widened, the hits seemingly effective, and Damion expected her to cough blood...

But she didn't. Instead, her eyes narrowed again, and she completely ignored holes that were punctured straight through her body.

"Awwww. But I want to PLAY, and you looked like you could use a playing buddy! Come on, play with me! PLAY!!!"

Her face twisted, her grin widening far beyond what was normal, her face turning pitch-black and runny, like liquid. The holes flowed over with black and sealed themselves, and the girl turned back to normal, completely unharmed, including the clothing.

"PLAY!!!"

And she rushed Damion, drawing her arm back and then throwing it forward as if trying to spear him straight through the chest!

“Damn it!”

Nanami went flying to the side as she was punched hard by Lavan. She went rolling across the ground, groaning as she finally came skidding to a stop. Without missing a beat she jumped back to her feet and took a defensive stance – trying hard not to show the pain from the punch.

“FIGHT THIS, LAVAN!” She shouted at the redhead. “You’re better than this!”

She clenched her fists and suddenly ice encased her body, forming a thick, glimmering armor. She went dashing towards Lavan, throwing multiple punches towards him!

“No!” Aboy yelled. Her Keyblade appeared in her hands, blocking the arm as it came at Damion.

She focused, summoning up electrical magic, sending it through her blade and down the arm!

-Kubo Park-

Samuel paid the girls no mind as they tried to stab him in the back, but he was knocked forward, stumbling for a moment.

He let out a yell, moving towards Ras again, trying to tackle the demon and pin him down!

As one of the girls charged towards Lily, there was a blast of lightning at her.

Galv stood there still, Raiju's energy pouring around him, sparking wildly. His hair was wild and there was an odd look in his eye.

“Come on you crazy girl. Think you can handle The Wolf?” Galv asked, his voice sounding disorted.

-Endsville Streets-

More flashes of light appeared around Spork, and several Keyblades appeared, swirling around him and blocking the attacks coming at him.

“I don't have time to deal with this,” Spork said. The air around him and the monsters started to shift, the world distorting slightly. It wasn't the full Keyblade Graveyard, he didn't want to use that much power, but the limited version, bringing part of it to this realm.

Keyblades appeared from the ground, the walls, any surface, even if it made no sense, such as from street lights. As they appeared, they shook, removing themselves from the surfaces.

It had been a very long time since a Keyblade Master had really fought like this.

The Keyblades all spun through the air, attacking the two monsters now!

-Kubo Academy-

There was an explosion as the air around Cess was suddenly filled with the black blades of Asmer, and when it died down Cess landed in front of Asmer, sword out, Sacred Energy around him.

“This sword was a gift from Lord Death himself,” Cess said, “He thought I was gifted enough to wield it. It can sharpen to a point so fine it cut any object.”

He smirked, then pointed the sword at Asmer. It had been tricky, and if he didn't have his Sacred Energy, he would have been dead. It bought him just enough time to bring his sword around and cut the air around him, making an explosion of energy outwards, countering the attack coming inwards.

Cess was recalling his past lives more and more as time went on. He did not fight in all of them, did not be a warrior, but there was still experience still to draw on... Instincts and second nature forged from many lives and experiences.

He focused his Sacred Energy into his sword, bringing it to a point then stabbing towards Asmer, sending out a blast of energy as he did so!

When Lavan landed that punch, it was suddenly quite obvious why it was a VERY bad idea to let him land a blow. When normally, the boy's strength wasn't enough to make Nanami even budge, now it was like being hit by a professional martial artist of the heavy-weight variety. Barreling into her chest like a vehicle, the punch sent Nanami rocking back...

And that wasn't the worst of it. The boy's black flames, still enveloping his body from every angle, spread over to Nanami the moment the punch landed, the spot he punched setting aflame with a fire that burned and burned and burned and didn't let up.

Lavan just laughed as Nanami shouted at him to clear his head. There was no chance for it: with the mist around them heavy, the Black Blood within him surging and strengthening with every breath, his own conscious mind was long gone, replaced by a hollow, empty shell that was completely and utterly controlled by insanity.

As the boy rushed forward, again a pair of little girls formed out of the mist around Nanami, like wraiths shaping themselves out of fog, and struck her from the sides, trying to use their enormous amount of physical power to punch through any defense she has, forcing her to evade the straight blows, but to evade in such a way as to give Lavan another clear shot...

---------

Galv's electrical surges were quickly eliminating his opponents, but they didn't stop coming. After completely destroying the shells that attacked him, another three replaced the positions of those who attacked him before, shaping themselves out of the black fog. But this time, they didn't get close, didn't dare getting too close to that lightning aura that scorched them. Instead, they lanced black blood-spikes at the boy from a distance, manipulating the very fog around the boy into long, thin needles that threatened to pierce the vitals, came at him from every angle.

The lightning aura helped in ridding Galv of most of the danger, but even past the lightning, some of the needles were getting close, close to hitting something important, close to damaging him...

Another girl shaped herself out of the fog, giggling in mad glee.

"The wolf? Little wolfie needs a lesson in manners, little wolfie will need to eat out of a straw! Little wolfie will be my PET. Do you want to become my little pet, wolfie? I'll make it happen!" Her happy smile twisted into one of menace and evil. "I will break you, wolfie. I will break you. I will break the girl you care for, that little Melanie girlie. I'll break her in front of you, and I'll watch... As I make you DEVOUR HER CORPSE!!!"

---------

Samuel was completely impervious.

Ras was completely insane.

His body completely consumed by the Black Blood, the devilish boy could only do one thing: attack. And attack he did, spells fired one after another, power spent and drained from the boy with every shot as he rained various attack spells on Samuel, trying to make ANYTHING work. And nothing did. Finally, Samuel was in range to tackle Ras, and the boy retaliated by spiking Black Blood spikes out of his body right at Samuel, but even then the spikes simply bounced off, allowing Samuel the moment needed to grapple the boy...

And end his spellcasting.

Ras twisted, grasped at the air and spoke in gibbering tongues and vile threats... But Samuel stopped his major spellcasting, for Ras required both hands to weave his spells and runes. Now, without that ability, he was helpless...

-------------------------------------------------

[Endsville Streets]

The two figures weaved in and out of the attacking keyblades like a pair of limber acrobats, using each other, the ground, anything in reach and their own flexibility to evade attacks that would have surely cut them, clobbered them, and assured a win for Spork. They continued their assault as well, slashing randomly in the air, and these slashes translating into the area around Spork, trying to cut him apart, but the Keyblades the man wielded were defending him just as well as attacking. It was a standoff that Spork was slowly winning.

He just had too many weapons at his disposal, and that had the battle won almost from the very beginning. With so many keyblades, it was all too easy to mount both an attack and a defense, and with the blades being wielded remotely, he kept those two weaving figures at a defensive.

That is until a third blind-sided Spork from behind, stepping out of Spork's own shadow where the mist had been gathering, attempting to slit the man's throat!

-------------------------------------------------

[Kubo Academy]

And so, Asmer's attack was negated. The horrifying figure of the man wrapped in such torturous wear didn't change, but even then, Asmer was a little annoyed. NO ONE in this age was supposed to have Sacred energy. NO ONE. And here was just a little upstart showing him that he was all wrong with his thinking, that a little bit of Sacred energy bled through and reincarnated somewhere, giving its gift to yet another.

And most frustratingly of all, Sacred Energy was one of the two greatest counters against Madness. The aura would not affect the boy, no matter how much Asmer would try to horrify the boy with power and presence alone.

This required a more personal touch.

Now that Cess was within melee range, he was within Asmer's range. Asmer, despite his ability to absolutely murder anyone as long as he could see them, was a specialist of melee combat, and the moment Cess was within range, Asmer lashed out like a viper. Dodging around Cess's sword and wave of energy entirely, Asmer SLID around the attack and lasted out with one of those extremely long, thin limbs tipped with deadly claws. Five gashes appeared in the air and multiplied where he struck, ripping the air apart like a thousand blades instead of five, just barely passing by Cess's quickly-moving torso. Then, up came the second claw, trying to strike Cess from underneath his stabbing blade.

---------

With Walter's help, Hiko wasn't slain immediately. The blast of water took the creature aside, swiping it away in a torrential wave of pressure. It recovered seconds later, sliding right back to its feet and joined by one of its allies, both dashing for Walter in that erratic, weaving pattern that confused the eyes and senses, trying to cut him to ribbons...

But Walter did one other thing. His interference allowed Hiko to center. And as the creatures lasted out, so did the boy. He was sitting one moment, eyes closed, and then, even beyond Walter's own sight, he was up, fifty feet away on the OTHER side of the attack pattern the pair were using, his blade drawn... And dripping black.

And one of the weaving attackers stumbled and rolled to the side as an enormous gash opened from its hip to its chest. It screamed in defiance and stood, its wound knitting back together in moments, but it was enough to open the other one to Walter's attacks....

The girl's form was barely blocked by Aboy's blade. And Aboy was PUSHED back into Damion with that rush, and then both of them pushed back even further as the girl revealed that she had the strength of a rhino at a charge.

But it was blocked, and her eyes opened wider in surprised as Aboy sent electricity flowing down the blade and into her arm. In response, the doll-like girl screamed in agony... And burst into drops of Black Blood.

But it was far from over as the drops just hovered there in the air as THE SAME GIRL stepped out of the mist to their left, raised her hand, and all of that blood, hovering almost point-blank to Aboy, turned into solid spikes, and sent themselves to impale Aboy and Damion!

Now becomes the the past in an instant — and everyone will eventually die! Destiny triumphs over human knowledge and goes mad! That is the way of things! I spit upon this frail, crazed, world! I spit upon the Second Law of Thermodynamics!
~ Desty Nova, Karmatron Theory

Let them Label me! Let them swear and curse at me as I tug humanity like a bucking bull into the darkness of the unknown, revealing its secrets to the sane and driving them MAD! In ages long past, I shall be looked upon as a tyrant and a savior! As a savant and as a fool! My work shall advance humanity long past its time, throw it into the unknown future and force it to grow strong or FALL! Years from now, when I will inevitably be removed, my work shall continue to progress, because these things cannot be denied! Governments will publicly criticize my work, but privately conduct research that advances it! I shall imprint myself into the annals of history, among the stars that shine as brightly as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Dmitri Mendeleev, Nikola Tesla, and countless others! My work will shine as brightly as any star, and I AM ITS CREATOR!!!

If there was one thing you should never, ever do with Galv, is threaten Melanie. Threaten him all you want, but if you threatened Melanie...

It didn't help there was the madness in the air. It could be a terrible thing, but if channeled...

“You touch one hair on her head and I will kill you,” Galv said, spinning around towards the girl. His electricity seemed to lessen, sparking around him occasionally. His hands twitched slightly, and he held them up.

“Boom!” Galv laughed, then spark in his hands, super heating the air and sending out a blast of sound at the girl now.

Samuel had Ras pinned, thankful that the madness was keeping the spell caster from thinking properly. He just kept trying to hurt him, to kill him... A bit of logical thinking could have stopped Samuel, or at least delayed him... He was impervious to things that could damage him, after all, but not to other things...

“Sorry kid, but this is for your own good,” Samuel said, then attempted to headbutt Ras as he pinned him down, trying to knock him out!

Spork spun around as the creature appeared, bringing the Keyblades in his hands around to block the slash.

“Damn it, I don't have time for this!” Spork scowled, “Fine then!”

Magic flew through his Keyblades, and he charged at the creature.

“Ragnarok!” Spork declared, unleashing a rain of blows on the creature before he jumped back, sending out blasts of magical energy at the other two!

In a way, this battle was very much like his battle against Shinigami-Sama. Cess was certain he was outclassed... but he wasn't going to back down.

But the difference was that Cess would pull out every single trick he could, every skill he had to keep Asmer focused on him, hoping to stall long enough for Shinigami-Sama to break free.

So as the first attack came, Cess focused his Sacred Aura around himself, twisting his own body back and around. The attack ripped through the air around him, but he was still standing.

As the second attack came from below, and Cess pointed downwards.

“Spirit Gun!” Cess declared, golden energy firing downwards, right at the arm that was coming at him!

Walter raised his hands, water forming around him, condensing into razor sharp ice needles, stabbing down at the wounded creature now in a literal hail of blades!

-Tree-

“Reflect!” Aboy yelled as the black spikes came at them, using her magic to knock back the Black Blood!

“This is really bad Damion...” Aboy said, “I'm not sure what we can do...”

The Crazy One

[Kubo Park]

Surrounding Nanami’s body was a thin aura of her spiritual power, and she was grateful for it. As the black flames burnt around her and threatened to consume her, she concentrated through the pain and expelled that aura, sending it – and the flames – away from her.

Yet before she could even attempt another move, the girls appeared out of the mist and came striking from each side. She had to move quickly to evade their punches, dodging and ducking as she tried to put as much space between her and them as she could.

She knew they were not the primary problem – that was Lavan. So as she dodged, she cupped her hands together and created a condensed ball of ice which she threw up into the air. It began to spin around, shooting icicles in every direction – icicles which homed in on the girls, and on Lavan.

"...I'm surprised you claim to know so many stories about him, with how absent you've always been to anything involving Musashi, since I've known him..."

Shiori did not really believe Haruka's stories. She knew Musashi wasn't always a 'saint', but... she also knew from knowing him as long as she had, just as his friend, that he wasn't THAT bad. Now maybe the Skype version of Musashi was different, though...

Damion did not have memories he could access, from his past, but his instincts and reflexes were still mostly honed, from his prior life. And he needed them, when the weird girl caused the blood mist in the air to form into spikes.

He quickly grabbed on to Aboy, before jumping away with her, while shooting at the spikes of blood with his Samus's Ice Beam.
