I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Endsville Arcade- “You could have just asked me what my second choice would be, you know,” Aboy said with a small laugh, putting a quarter into the Ms. Pac Man machine and starting it up. Soon she was off, moving through mazes, eating pellets, ghosts, and random food and the occassional key! -Endsville Streets- Galv smiled back, giving Melanie a kiss back. “It's no problem. It's a promise I'd love to keep,” Galv said, taking Melanie's hand now, “Even if I have to eat with your mom too, it's worth it for you.” |

Kubo Training Grounds As Musashi spoke, Shiori's face again begun to turn slightly red. However, when it came to distractions... That wasn't enough to stop Shiori when she was serious. "...So how would you fight someone like Sayuri?" she then asked of Musashi. Probably because they were in a battle with each other (be it a friendly training duel, and not even an official duel), she was a little more bold. Sayuri was still a really sticky issue for Shiori, since she was the complete opposite of herself, as well as Musashi's former Endsville Arcade "Hmmm... Maybe I should have picked regular Pac-Man instead..." Damion thought aloud, as he watched Aboy start playing, "The stage-start music sounds cooler in that one..." Though as Aboy continued through the maze, Damion began cheering. "Go get that ghost! Show 'em who's the Ms.!!" he exclaimed, as he pumped his fist, or tried to point ways to go, and similar sorts of cheering. It was probably quite an interesting sight. Skies above Kubo Academy As Connor and Sarai flew through the sky, a few random small birds occasionally flew by, as they went along. ...you didn't think Rumi wasn't at least in a small way, keeping an eye on those two for adorable moments, did you? |

[Kubo Training Grounds] Musashi froze up the moment Sayuri’s name was mentioned. If it was a sticky issue for Shiori, it was even worse for Musashi. The whirlwind romance had been some of the best – and worst – days of his life. He didn’t like to think about it. “… I think for Sayuri I’d just throw out some shiny objects to distract her. It’s all about strategy.” [Skies above Kubo Academy] “I’m sure you could learn to fly.” Connor replied with a smile. “I mean… genies are supposed to be incredibly powerful, right? I bet you could find some old book to learn how to fly. We could look into it…” |

Endsville Streets Melanie giggled, appreciating the effort, but knowing she would never subject her boyfriend to such torture as dinner with Kanna. While she always longed for those family moments she knew it probably wouldn't end up as nice as she imagined. Some things were better off never happening. "Do you and your family do a lot of things together?" Melanie asked, swinging her hand idly in his. Skies above Kubo Academy Sarai giggled softly, "T-That's okay, i'd probably accidentally fly into the sun or something" she joked. "I'd rather only fly with you" |

[Skies above Kubo Academy] Connor shook his head and gave her a little smile. “Are you sure? Because we could probably teach you… and it would be fun for us to fly together like that.” Connor grinned. |

Skies above Kubo Academy Sarai paused, thinking about it. "If you think that you could possibly teach me...Then okay. We could try" She said hopefully. After all if there was anyone who could help her it would be Connor. She just wouldn't mention this to her dad. Or brothers. |

Kubo Training Grounds "So you're saying you wouldn't be distracted," Shiori raised an eyebrow, "against a girl prettier than me?" As soon as the last word left her mouth, however, Shiori jumped into action, charging towards Musashi, to try and strike him. Kubo School Market - Book Shop Avril and Solei followed Nanami to the shop that sold books, with Avril quickly settling over by the racks that contained all sorts of comic book compilations, manga volumes, and graphic novels. Meanwhile, Solei approached Nanami, with a question. "Umm, would this shop have any books related to the history of Makai?" |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Endsville Arcade- Aboy snickered a little at Damion cheering her on, focusing on the game. She wasn't doing as well as usual though, distracted by Damion. Not because of his cheering, just from the simple fact he was there. Aboy found him distracting...but in a good way. She lost her last life, and stood back. It was a decent score, but Damion could beat it if he was lucky. “Alright...your turn,” Aboy said. -Endsville Streets- “Yah, we do. Mom says it's good for us to bond,” Galv answered, “Both of my parents were only children...” And had single parents, at that. He paused, glancing to the side. Galv was the only one who actually looked like he took after Samuel and Levina... Thankfully Galv was smart enough not to ask Melanie if her family spent a lot of time together doing family bonding as well. “And you can join with us too. I know my parents would love to have you along,” Galv smiled. -Forest Outside Endsville- Cess was alone, eyes closed. His sword was stuck in the ground, and the dead human was focusing, training for his upcoming match with Shinigami-Sama. Very few students ever attempted this duel. If you won, it was instant graduation, though no one had ever won. Mostly, Shinigami-Sama decided what happened on how well the student fought and reacted, and how long they lasted, though that sometimes depended on the mood of the principal. But Cess was determined to win, and even if classes hadn't been canceled, he would still be out here. He didn't want Shinigami-Sama to know what Cess might pull out in the fight, after all... |

[Skies above Kubo] Connor smiled back at Sarai. There was a lot of potential here… if the two of them could learn to fly together, then this could be their thing. Flying around the school… avoiding idiots like Sire and Sarai’s brothers when they were around… “Then we’ll find a way! And it’ll be great.” Connor smiled at her. [Training Grounds] Musashi was not stupid enough to just blurt out an answer, but before he could even try to think of one, Shiori was upon him. Musashi held up his blade and blocked the strike, but it was a close one. There was a loud clang and Musashi fell back, his arms hurting from the force of the block. “I wasn’t aware there were girls prettier than you.” Musashi replied with a smirk. [Book Shop] Nanami blinked, and thought about the question for a moment. “Probably, but most of the history you could find in a text book… still, we could check.” She walked over to one of the shelves and looked through a stack of thick, leather-bound books. After a moment, she pulled one off the shelf. “This should be what you need. It details everything after the overthrow of the Overlord. Harder to get history before that time.” Nanami handed the book over to Solei. [Forest Outside Endsville] “You DO realize that the Bag-of-Bones is way stronger than you can possibly imagine, right?” Sama was leaning in one of the trees in the forest, eating an apple. Now that he had graduated, he had time to just putz around and spy on former classmates. He was mainly interested in Cess’ plans for the duel with his dad, since as far as Sama was concerned, the whole duel was insanity. |

Skies above Kubo Sarai nodded softly, looking back down at the ground below them. After a moment she spotted a lake coming up, the girl looking back up to Connor. "C-Can we land down there?" she asked. Endsville Streets Melanie smiled, looking to the side. "I wouldn't want to impose" she said sweetly "Anyways being able to come for dinner is nice enough, and maybe Jason and my dad will like it enough that they'll want to have dinners more often!" Despite everything Melanie was an optimist. She had to be lest she go crazy in her family. |

[Kubo Lake] The grounds of Kubo were constantly changing, and the old lake that sometimes appeared was a deeply magical place, and sometimes a very dangerous one. Connor, however, enjoyed the idea so he landed right next to the lake. Connor sat Sarai down gently and then took her hand. “This was a good idea… this place is really pretty.” |

Kubo Lake Sarai gave a little smile when they landed, the girl stepping back from the boy for a moment to look around and pull off her socks and shoes. She then wandered to the edge of the water looking in. She wondered if there was anything in there.... |

[Kubo Lake] Connor let out a small, happy sigh as they landed. He closed his eyes for a moment and his wings disappeared, leaving the boy looking normal once more. Connor could have kept his wings on all the time, but he didn’t like to – they were pretty bright and distracting during class. Connor walked over to the lake and pulled off his shoes as well and sat next to her. “I’ve never tried swimming in the lake.” Connor rubbed his neck. “I always heard it was dangerous.” At this school? I’m not surprised. |

Kubo Lake Sarai blinked and frowned a bit, hesitantly dipping her toes in the water. When nothing outwardly grabbed her feet the girl gave a sigh and dipped her legs in. "I've heard that some people come out here a swim, but it's kinda dark....I wonder if something is down there." Sarai liked to swim, and she was good at it...But she wasn't sure she was that brave. |

training Grounds Shiori continued to press forward, even as Musashi replied to her questions. It didn't seem like she was buying, though. "You don't need to lie, to avoid answering me and try to make me feel better!" she then said, as she backed off for a moment, before jumping forward again to strike at Musashi. Endsville Arcade Aboy may have had the problem of being slightly distracted by Damion's mere presence, but when it was Damion's own turn to play, he had a few more issues he had to worry about, than simply possibly being distracted by Aboy. At least in how he felt, getting in front of the machine, it felt like this must have been the first time he's ever played this game. And on his first time around the maze, it looked that way, as well, as he spent more time running away from ghosts than he did killing them and clearing the level. He WAS lucky, though, in finally being able to beat the first maze without losing a life. As he played, though, he almost was as vocal as he was when cheering on Aboy, even steering with his body, where he wanted Ms. Pac-Man to turn. But in the end, Damion eventually lost all his lives, and ended up with a score that wasn't really all that close to Aboy's score. "...awww... Looks like you won this round!" Damion then said, as he got the Game Over. "It was pretty fun, though!" Book Shop Solei turned her head in confusion, when Nanami mentioned "overthrowing the Overlord". She was 'lucky' enough to have missed that very very long era in the history of Makai, having been frozen as a rock statue, for all that time. "Overlord?" she then asked of Nanami, as she took the book. Meanwhile, Avril was getting some entertainment out of reading the comics she was stationed in front of, |
