[Kubo Grounds] Musashi watched… a barrier… a nearly unbreakable barrier that separated them from Cess and from Free… a barrier even Lavan could not scratch. Suddenly, Musashi’s eyes lit up. He knew how to break this barrier – and how to strike Free down in a single blow! He remembered words his father had told him one… [Flashback] Musashi was a green student, training with his father, President Miyamoto. The two crossed swords, but Miyamoto easily disarmed the boy, sending his sword spiraling out of his hand and through the air. As Miyamoto held the tip of his sword to Musashi’s throat, he gave a hearty laugh. “Musashi, my son, your defenses are poor. You’ll have to improve. Have your friend Shiori teach you better. She’s far better than you at this.” “Daaaaaad!” Musashi pouted. “Hahaha… but defense isn’t everything. In fact, one of the legendary sword techniques I possess can cut through any defense. Magical barriers, the strongest armors, things natural and unnatural… ANY defense can be broken in one attack.” “Whoa…” Musashi was impressed. “Of course, such an attack comes at a STEEP risk. While using it, you are COMPLETELY defenseless… many have died trying to correctly perform this attack. And that, Musashi, is why I will only teach it to you… after you graduate from Kubo.” [Kubo Grounds] Musashi paused… then he clutched the sides of his head and screamed. “DAAAAAAAAAD! You stupid son of a b**ch! If you’d just teach me this stuff before I coulda stopped this freaky-eyed psycho! Damn it damn it damn it!” [Kubo Hallways] Lina paused. Where WAS Shinigami-sama? She had no idea… he had to have a good reason for being gone at such a dangerous time. “… This is not your ONLY chance. In fact, this is NO chance. Look, Eruka, if you accomplish your missions it means your useful – and you think your boss will just let a useful minion go free? Hell no! But if you FAIL your missions, it means you’re worthless, and your boss will probably just kill you! So you can’t depend on them.” Lina paused. “Shinigami or not, if you help me, I’ll do everything I can to help you! I promise!” |

I can't see what you're imagining

-Kubo Cafeteria- Crona's attacks came at Paul, only for them to be stopped, inches from actually landing hits on the spell caster. Paul was not much of a melee fighter. That was, oddly enough, more Edda's department. But that did not mean Paul could not counter against melee. His magic was flowing freely around him, having doubled unto itself before, continuing to create an unseen armor completely around him, resonating with it's user. Paul jumped backwards, placing his hands together, his hands making signs, forming a spell. Unless Crona knew sign language, they would not be able to tell which spell Paul was preparing, especially with his magic shielding him already. Every metal object in the room suddenly began to vibrate wildly, a magnetic force forming in Paul's hands. Blood had iron in it. Quite a bit, actually. Paul tossed the magnetic orb upwards, to the ceiling, where it began to pull the metal in the room up with it! Paul was banking on the fact that Crona's Black Blood being out in the open, he'd damage or at least weaken Crona's ability to use his primary weapon! -Remote Classroom- Gallic sighed, as Mizune split apart, avoiding his slash. “You're fast...not fast enough...” Gallic spun, reaching out with his telekinesis, attempting to grab the witch with his power, and keep her from moving! -Kubo Hallways- “That's fine,” Lily said, nodding to Ras. “So...this thing keeps us out of space time, or something?” She had done research on Devilkin after all, and learned from Ras... “Then how do we contact anyone?” -Kubo Grounds- “Count me in too!” Jimi appeared, by Nanami. Musashi and Stein! Thaddius was still on his head. “My brother's trapped in that school, and I have to help him!” Jimi frowned. “Maybe my Keyblade can break through...” “Auuuugghhh...please don't tell me I ran into the rescue attempt...” The green student Edda appeared now, having seen the group, now looking annoyed. He had headed to the school to find out what was happening, worried about Paul, Evelyn, and the others. “Excellent! We shall aid these brave heroes in combat!” Sol told Edda, who, I remind you, can only talk to Edda except under certain circumstances. “But I'm just a green!” Edda sighed. Cess frowned, stopping in his concentration. Free did have a point... “Well...you're right there...You're not the person I have to worry about right now...” Cess said, but then leaned forward, “But I know there's a lot of competent people at Kubo who can handle whoever your boss is...” Then Lavan appeared, throwing fire at the cube, doing no damage! D: “Hey, Lavan!” Cess grinned, “Any clue to what's happening?” |

Kubo Grounds Free chuckled. "I'd like to see your key-thing do anything. You're messing with powers far above your station, kid. You've got guts though, I'll give you that." Lavan scoffed. "Betcha I can break through that, no problem." Free just sighed, waving the flaming-haired boy off. "Go ahead, try all you want." Lavan smirked. Oh yes, it was THAT smirk, the one that he usually got beofre his enemy ended up in a large amount of pain, or was subjected to liberal amounts of humiliation. "Then witness THIS! Unstoppable fires in the darkness of summer. The fires of hell, the beat of the core of the world, the catastrophic flame and power that consumes all! The Call of Bahamut, the 12 signs of the Zodiac, the judgement that passes from above to the center, and from there to below!! MEGA FLARE!!!" The Mega Flare. Known as the most powerful fire-based incanted spell, available to student-level access, it drew upon the flames of Bahamut, the God of Dragons. This flame, amplified by Lavan's inner affinity and Suzaku's own fire manifested into a spell that was even larger than before, a blast of fire that seemed to consume an entire wall of Kubo, cutting a deep gouge as it went further on into the city, passing above buildings and destroying a few dozen blocks worth of property before curving upward due to the heat produced by the blast. And as the fire settled down, leaving a panting Lavan and a steaming trench of molten stone, it revealed... That Free's barrier remained COMPLETELY untouched. The wolf-man with the demon eye just picked an ear. "Yeah. Impressive. Not. Really, kid, I told you. You can't break it." Lavan looked at this with widened eyes, regaining his breath. "Holy... Okay... I... MAY have slightly underestimated that barrier." Free just laughed. "I like you, kid! You're a lot like me before hell got to me, and I ended up a criminal on prison row for life. Maybe someday, you'll follow my footsteps, hmm?" Lavan just smirked in return. "If I ever become a criminal, I wouldn't be stupid enough to get caught while running AFTER the authorities chasing you." Free paused... Then started banging his head against the wall. "GODDAMIT!!! S***!!! I THOUGHT NO ONE KNEW THAT!!!" Lavan couldn't help but gloat. "Ha-ha, loser can't handle a little PRESSURE! How could anyone be STUPID enough to make such an AMATEUR mistake and get caught for it?" Free looked like he was about to jump out of the box and chew on some Lavan neck, but then visibly calmed down and grinned. "Nice try, but I'm not coming out." Lavan snapped his fingers, grinning almost good-naturedly. "Damn. Was worth a try. Say, any chance you know how Medusa is set to accomplish what she is doing?" Free just burst into laughter. "OH, kid, I REALLY like your style! Tell you what. I'll give you a hint. Someone's with Medusa. Another guy, whose name I THINK is Giriko. She plans to use herself as a line of defense and have Giriko deliver what he needs to." Stein narrowed his eyes. "Black Blood..." Free gave him an incredulous look, one that turned quickly into something bordering awe. "No wonder. Franken Stein. Heh, Medusa really does choose her enemies, eh?" Lavan turned to Cess in the meantime. "Yeah. Remember that legend about Asura? The one where Shinigami-Sama defeated him? Lies. He wasn't vanquished. He was sealed. Asura is under Kubo, and Medusa plans to release him. What say you, wanna come along?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kubo Cafeteria The magnetic orb was pulling everything metallic towards it. However, while blood had iron in it, it was trace amounts, not really enough to truly affect someone. While yes, Magnetic Therapy DID help and blood COULD potentially carry a magnetic charge, it wasn't enough to actually magnetize it. It WAS however causing Crona/Ragnarok a lot of pain. And the pink-haired demon didn't like it. So s/he answered with the typical counter for this situation. "Three-Wail Demon Chorus!" A pair of DRAGON heads made of blood, of all things, burst out of Crona/Ragnarok's back, faced in triangle form away from the main head, and all three let out the infamous wail, all three layering one onto another and destroying everything around the form with a massive sound wave. The spell fell apart the moment the screech sounded. Three of these wails in one managed to counter the feedback loop Paul created and got rid of the spell... But Crona/Ragnarok looked like s/he was visibly tiring. "DAMMIT! STAND STILL SO I CAN BLEED YOU TO DEATH!!!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kubo Hallways Eruka looked torn. REALLY torn. On one side, half of her warned her that the only hope she had was Medusa's word, that betraying that woman would be suicide. She knew the truth that came from these words. On the other hand, she could see if she could work with Lina, and follow the hope the girl's words provided. She could take a risk. But maybe... She could free herself that way, working AGAINST Medusa. And Medusa couldn't know. This was another dimension now. Maybe... Eruka looked almost small as she asked. "... Do you really think so? Do you promise that you won't let me... Disappear?" She sounded scared. Alone. Hopeless. She was Lina's age, after all, maybe younger, maybe older, and excessively skilled in Arithmatic Magic. She was a witch, one of the most powerful in the Coven, and she was growing stronger every day. A genius. But now, she looked nothing like that. Now, she looked like a lost little girl who knew hopelessness, and could only see a brief ray of hope. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kubo Hallways Ras shook his head, shaking himself clear of the sudden feeling of dread and helplessness. "We can find the faculty of the school. They're still inside the building, so we will probably find them. By now, they have started to gather in the gym, as this was an emergency. Once we find them, we can think about doing something else." So speaking, Ras turned to head off towards the Gym. "The barrier is spatial lockdown of some sort... Maybe not even a lockdown as much as it is a complete spatial separation. If we can find some way to break it... We can also try to see Shinigami-Sama. Maybe he can offer insight on the events." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Remote Classroom One of the Mizune forms froze as Gallic froze her in place. The other, however, launched itself into full-on assault on Gallic, slashing madly away, before breaking off and grinning. "Setup complete. Rune Array Number Ninety-Two: Twisting Pillar of Issakar!" A pillar of light erupted from the ground, twisting in a spiral form upwards, like some sort of demented upside-down bottle opener. The light beams snaked around Gallic, trapping him in the spiral, before the areas between the bars filled in with a lattice of green veins. "Let's see how you like this. Fuel me." And power began to RIP away from Gallic, the attack sudden and unprecedented, power suddenly sapping from the man at alarmingly high rates as Mizune began to glow. "Let's see how powerful you REALLY are." |

[Kubo Grounds] “Enough. So Medusa is going to free Asura, and she’s working with someone called Giriko. Fine, we’ll deal with Asura, Medusa and Giriko... and we'll deal with YOU too." Nanami pointed a finger at Free. She might not have had the flare for drama that Lavan did, but she was losing her cool. She had been in a sour mood all day, too much on her mind… and now, instead of a relaxing dinner with her cousin, boyfriend and cousin-in-law, she had to deal with psychotic health professionals and demons. Nanami paused. "... The question is, should we go cut off Asura's head first, or should I bring him your head?" [Kubo Cafeteria] As Crona/Ragnaroka let loose the wail once more and started to push Paul back, Aderu jumped forward, putting himself between Paul and Crona. He held up his arms out in front of him and sent a massive burst of flames into the air towards Crona. Aderu knew that the soundwaves would counter his flames… but hopefully he’d make an opening for Paul. “Come on, move it or lose it kid! We can take this thing together!” Aderu shouted. Connor, meanwhile, had still been working on a very special attack. If he got a chance, he would strike… [Kubo Hallways] Lina was not exactly the type to take pity on people… but in this moment as she watched she could see the distress – and the hope – in Eruka’s face. She paused, and lowered her hands, allowing her spell to disappear away. “… Yeah, I promise. Look, I just want to stop what’s happening. If you can help me do that, I’ll make sure nothing bad happens to you. So whaddiya say, friends?” |

Kubo Grounds Free just burst into laughter. "So sure of yourselves! Taking on Asura must be no problem, is it, kids? Well then, if you think your lives have been long enough, feel free to go and try and stop Medusa. Maybe she will forgive you... Or maybe Giriko will just end you. Who knows." He rubbed the back of his neck. "But... You know, I think I've delayed you long enough. I stopped you here, delayed you with conversation. Medusa's probably halfway there by now. There's no way you'll catch her easily." Free was right. This was his plan all along: to delay them all. Stein immediately figured that out, scowling at Free and snapping about. "We have no time to lose then. Everybody ready? Stupid question. Of COURSE you're all ready. Forced Burial." He slapped his hands together, and a pulse of magic emitted from them, and then he clapped the ground. Lavan, Nanami, Cess, Musashi and Edda suddenly found themselves hanging in mid-air as the ground underneath them disappeared and a headstone appeared next to the created holes, each with a name on it. Their name. "Down we go!" And all of them fell down, and down, and down... The "graves" closed behind them, sealing up with only the stone tablets/headstones remaining, each displaying the name of the one who ell through it with a "Chasing" written underneath the name. However, three unmarked graves remained, open for those who would jump in later... Free just sighed. "Great. I'm bored again." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shibusen Arch Passage The group found themselves landing on a large patch of heavy air that bounced them up a few times before letting them settle on the ground, another one of Stein's useful spells. They were in a long, pitch-black corridor that seemed to lead eternally into darkness, and slightly sloping downward. There were no lights here, no torches, and the air here was old, dusty and heavy with age. It was oppressive here. Stifling, in both air and mind as SOMETHING tried to interfere with their thoughts. Lights seemed to appear at random, where no lights should be there. Strange things happened in the corners of their vision as monsters seemed to shape themselves from shadows, only to vanish the moment anyone focused on it. And through it all, a deep feeling of eager anticipation and utter madness permeated the air. Even Stein spoke silently, affected by this. "The Shibusen Arch... I hoped to never see this place again..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kubo Hallways Eruka looked at Lina, frowning. Could she REALLY trust this girl in front of her? Could she really put her life on the line like this? And then, the answer seemed to supply itself. Yes. Because there was no other choice. "Damned if I do... Damned if I don't... Ok. I give up. I'll come quietly and stop causing a mess. But only. ONLY. If you uphold your end of the bargain. I... Have no other choice but to take you up on your word. But if you fool me... Well... I can assure you that if I die, you will go with me." Eruka hated being weak. She loathed it, but she had no choice but to be weak. She lost here. Both in word and in power. She may have won with surprise, but she was not Crona. She wasn't a monster, no matter how much Medusa wanted to make her into one. |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Remote Classroom- “You utter fool...” Gallic laughed, as he felt his energy begin to drain from him, to fuel Mizune. “I can give you power...” Gallic had ten abilities that he could utilize. One of them was the ability to pass on power to another person, while another gave Gallic immunity to whatever he could do, preventing him from turning himself to ashes while using his fire, from poisoning himself when he created venom, etc... But there was a catch. Because of those two abilities, Gallic was unable to take power from another source. He could not use abilities that lied outside of his ten. No matter what item of power he might have, it could not change that. A talisman of ice, for instance, could not give him ice powers. So he used his power, he sent Mizune his ability to give powers...and immunity from any abilities she might have. This would stop her from sucking any more energy from him...and stop her from doing that spell ever again... -Kubo Grounds- “I'd whack you on the head for that damage, but that was cool looking, and I think Nanami's gonna hit you later anyways,” Cess said, commenting on Lavan's Mega Flare, “As for Asura...sounds like fun! If I can take on this opponent of Shinigami-Sama, I know I'm ready to take the big guy on himself!” Cess tended to be overconfident. Jimi, meanwhile, was looking at the barrier around the school. “Opening something isn't just about sheer strength...Besides...there's no such thing as an immovable object...or an unstoppable force...” Jimi said, holding up his hand, as his Keyblade appeared. “Using a Keyblade to open something isn't about power. It's about...skill,” Jimi continued, pointing his Keyblade at the school, “Unfortunately, I know I'm not powerful enough to break this in the slightest...but I might be able to crack it open...for a second...” “Then send me in!” Edda said, “My friends are in there, and need help...and I'd just slow you guys down going after Medusa and all that...You're all blue or graduated...” Then Stein brought them downwards, underground beneath the school! Edda's Luck was 2... “Oh gosh darn it...” Edda muttered, pulling out Sol, worried. -Kubo Hallways- “Then let's go! I hope we can find help...” Lily said, following after him towards the gym, “Coach Axel is probably there, at least...” When dealing with space-time boxes, you'd normally want The Doctor...Axel would be like the 4,485,248th person you'd go to... -Kubo Cafeteria- The screeches assaulted Paul, frowning as he focused harder, trying to keep his magic in check. He placed his hands on the ground, a humming noise emitting from it now, moving through the floors, then up the walls and ceilings. Speakers began to appear around the walls and ceilings, and let out a noise as well, working at the opposite wavelength of Crona's screeches, in order to continuously counter them! Paul was good at support... |

[Kubo Grounds] Suddenly, with a thunderous pop, a gun was fired and the bullet flew towards Free’s barrier – and broke a tiny hole in it, zipping right past Free’s head before it crashed into the barrier behind him and finally stopped, dropping into a broken hunk on the ground. “Don’t worry, you won’t be bored for very long.” Finally stepping out of the shadows was Dante. His jacket and silver hair blew in the wind as he stepped forward, holding twin pistols. One was as black as pitch while the other was as white as fresh snow. On his back, a great sword of immense power and ancient design was strapped to him, waiting to be unleashed. “Sorry, but I’ve been eavesdropping this whole time. I heard everything. Damn… releasing Asura… no wonder they say Kubo graduates are so tough… only a truly impressive student could survive something like this.” Dante smirked, looking over to Free, locking eyes with him. “Well, I don’t have to worry about that yet. Right now, I just have to worry about killing you. Try not to be TOO boring, it’s been a while since I’ve had a real fight.” [Shibusen Arch Passage] Musashi looked around in the darkness. There seemed to be optical illusions meant to fool them, throw them off guard and cause them to lose their cool. It was a neat trick… if they became paranoid and jumpy, they’d be easy targets. Nanami knew it too, but she wasn’t worried. She walked slowly after Stein, into the murky abyss beneath the school. She could sense INCREDIBLE power here… “I think we’re in the right place…” [Kubo Hallways] Lina could not believe it. For once she had solved a problem… with words? That really did not fit her usual style. Explosions and swords made of magic were just so much more fun… but right now, it seemed like a softer approach was the winning one. Besides, she’d get to bust Medusa’s skull later. That would be fun. “Look, I’m not trying to fool you. If I was planning on fighting you, I’d have just done it! I’m not some coward who tricks people and then stabs them in the back. I prefer stabbing in the front, it’s more fun. But that’s neither here or there…” Lina gave a slight smile. “You’re making a good choice, Eruka. Your magic is pretty cool, and if we work together, I’m sure we can get you outta trouble! But the only way I can help you is if you’re honest with me, okay?” Lina paused. “Can you tell me who it is whose making you do this stuff, and who is doing all this stuff to the school?” |

Kubo Grounds Free widened his eyes in surprise as his barrier was simply... BROKEN THROUGH, and by a firearm of all things. Taking a look at the new arrival, Free narrowed his eyes, before a small grin appeared on his face, his shield dissipating as he released it. "Damn. Well, looks like someone worthy has finally appeared. To break through a dimension-fold barrier like that... You're pretty good, whitey." Free just stood there, the runic circle in his implanted eye spinning lazily. "And you've got skill. Power, skill... What's someone like you doing here? Have you come to watch the fireworks? Or have you come to put a stop to Asura's resurrection? Well, whatever the case is, I can't really let you win this battle. I'm still keeping up that big barrier, see." Free's soul wavelength expanded, his soul aura manifesting around him and expanding slowly, a dark-green aura with an imprint of the same symbol as his eye. "I don't really think I can hold back against you. Those guns and that sword... Let's see how they match up to the Immortal Wolf." And with a grin, the man's physical form shifted, enlarging, hulking into an actual honest-to-god werewolf, both his hands to his sides, one palm pointing up, one palm pointing down, fingers folded so only the forefinger and middle finger were extended. "Entertain me. Wolf, Wolves, Lupin, Lupas... Frozen Spike Bomb." The ball-on-a-chain on his leg encased in ice and gained rather sharp and vicious-looking spikes made of frozen water, the wolf picking the chain up and swinging the ball around at his opponent! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shibusen Arch Passage Stein nodded at Nanami's assessment. "I have been here. Once. Once in my entire life, when Shinigami-Sama brought me here to visit his private sanctum. I never wanted to go back here. Just being in this place can drive you insane." He looked behind him, watching the group, before focusing in on Edda. "... It is best if you either stay behind or go back. The insanity in this place is merciless. Unfortunately, I don't think you can actually be of much help against anything we meet here... But you can't get back into the school either." Lavan snapped his fingers suddenly. "Wait a second! Jimi, right? Can't you use that weirdo key of yours to open the barrier?" Stein shook his head. "Free is far too powerful to simply outdo. However... Maybe you're right. Maybe an opening CAN be made, for just a few moments." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kubo Hallways Eruka again looked around quickly, as though to assure herself that no one will jump out of the walls or anything like that to devour her. Then, she let out a long breath, gathered her courage, and... "... Medusa. The nurse of this school is a witch, and a powerful one, as am I. We are from the Witch's Coven, the enemies of Kubo. Medusa has a plan. I do not know WHAT she wants to do with it, but earlier today, I gave her a suitcase with a large syringe full of Black Blood. She went under the school, past the barrier, to try and do something." She sighed, wringing her hands. "I don't know anything else. I just know Medusa is more powerful than she seems, and extremely ambitious. She wants something, some sort of Soul Key, at least from what I remember her mentioning. I also heard her mention Asura, but I don't now why. She almost seemed assured that the Demon God of Madness would return to life..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kubo Gym After the alert has been issued, the Gym was always the gathering point of all the faculty and students that were not otherwise preoccupied. It was here that plans were made, students were kept safe, and things were usually set in motion. The most protected place in the entirety of Kubo, barring Shinigami-Sama's office, was this gym. And it is here that Ras and Lily finally burst trough the doors, finding the gym almost filled up with hushed, frightened-looking and anxious students. The other instructors were here too, having gathered from all over the school in this time of trouble. Ras quickly took a look around and ran to the nearest instructor, Axel. "Professor Axel! We have a problem!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Remote Classroom Mizune watched as the man did SOMETHING that caused a sudden power increase in the runic network... And nothing else. She smirked. It appeared that he laced the power drawn out with either intent or property other than simple energy. That's not how the Twisting Pillar of Issakar worked. It was a runic spell, one of the few that were not taught in Kubo due to difficulty of creation and the dangers of use. If not properly calibrated in the direction of the drawn power, it could very well shatter or kill the recipient with the power influx. The Twisting Pillar of Issakar was not only a power DRAW. It was a large power-transfer runic array with a built-in filter. It drew upon the power of one who was trapped inside the Pillar, filtered it into the ground, a symbolism of grounding the power, before sending the filtered power, pure energy, down a calibrated path towards the user of the array. Gallic's attempt was useless. By trying to grant an ability instead of pure energy, the ability part was filtered out and power surged down the array, filtering and re3ducing to a manageable size before Mizune "consumed" it, growing in strength. "That's useless, you know. And now, let's see what I can do with this power you give me." And she blurred, her claws extending to nearly 3 times her own height in length, trying to cut through the trapped Gallic! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kubo Cafeteria The screeches were canceling out one another, the magic in the air churning like some living twisted, tortured thing. Crona/Ragnarok laughed as Paul countered his/her move, and slashed the blade while the screech still continued, something Crona previously wasn't capable of, attacking the unguarded Paul while he was busy countering the magic screech. "Bloody needle!" The black blood needles that previously attempted to skewer Connor rose into the air again from where they fell, this time zeroing in on Paul to hit him from all sides just as a sword came in with a piercing strike from the front. An assault in every possible manner against the boy. Could he survive this? |

Kubo Cafeteria Rumi Testarossa had been hanging back. In this sort of battle, it was difficult for her to do much. She certainly wasn't much of a melee fighter (though given an opportunity, one probably would not want to stand up to her flying kick), and this pink haired bum had a HAXXOR ability to just KO most things magical... However, Paul had managed to use sound to nullify that, it seemed. This gave her a bit of a shot to get some damage in... It also meant she could follow that lead, which she did in drawing up some cartoony Speaker-men to pump out the same soundwaves. Keeping them up would be limiting on herself, though, with what else she could summon. That wouldn't stop Rumi. Especially after what she had spent much of this battle drawing up. As the Ragnarok-controlled Chrona slashed at Paul, a figure appeared through a shadowy portal in the floor. *SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH* As Meta Ridley appeared from the ground, it grabbed the blade formed by Ragnarok in its mouth, likely stopping it's attack on Paul. Also at that moment, it fired a number of missiles to hit Chrona and Ragnarok. Paul himself would have to figure out how to deal with the blood needles coming at him, as Rumi didn't have anything up her sleeves to be able to protect against that, without canceling his own spell to broadcast that soundwave stuff. But she did have an idea. "To get rid of that blood, you probably need to boil it away!" she mentioned, to anyone who could help with spells that could do that. Even at 100%, she didn't have enough proficiency with extra spells, yet, to be able to help with that, let alone after already having depleted herself near completely, earlier in the day, combined with sustaining this highly detailed Meta Ridley and the Speaker-men. |

Kubo Cafeteria With so much sound waves clashing against one another, the actual cafeteria's shape was beginning to bulge outward. Even with the windows gone, the sound was beginning to create some rather massive pressure inside the place. It was a good thing that almost all students have evacuated the place by now, since the pressure was building to levels where it would burst eardrums. Crona/Ragnarok wasn't happy. The sound waves were what carried the anti-soul wavelengths which interfered with magic and spiritual wavelength, causing destabilization. With the sound waves clashing with those of matching wavelength and amplitude, the effect was almost completely nullified. And then, one of those damn ink creatures appeared, drawn by that girl in glasses and a beret, BLOCKING his/her about-to strike sword! It was ridiculous! How the HELL were these kids doing this? This was getting downright ridiculous. S/e was Crona/Ragnarok! They were invincible! The next Demon God! Powerful enough to soon match Shinigami-Sama! Why the hell were they being beaten like this, defeated by these... These... KIDS! "DAMMIT! SOMEONE DIE ALREADY!!! THOUSAND BLADE WALTZ!" Crona/Ragnarok yanked the sword back harshly, pulling it from the large ink creature's teeth before striking out with a thousand stabs, impaling every single one of the incoming missiles, detonating them as Black Blood seemed to converge around the black-dressed boy/girl, forming a shield that stopped any of the blast from getting through, protecting Crona from the sudden blast-wave. |

[Kubo Grounds] Dante had a smirk on his face as he listened to Free speak. It seemed like the escaped convict learned immediately that this was a fight he had to take seriously. Good. Dante had been bored for too long. Most of the demons he had vanquished lately had been no match for even his most basic skills. It made his job dull, and it paid pretty bad too. He needed a REAL fight to loosen his muscles and make him feel that rush of combat again. When Free’s balled chain froze over and turned to spikes, Dante grinned. It was suddenly swung at him, and Dante darted in an aerial flip, expertly dodging the swinging ball and rolling across the ground. As he rolled, he let loose with both Ebony and Ivory, firing dozens of shots at Free. The bullets themselves were nothing special, but the guns were. They were powerful artifacts, and their power flowed into the bullets, making them stronger and allowing Dante to gun down demons with ease. Of course, if he killed a werewolf with a few shots, Dante would be HIGHLY disappointed. [Shibusen Arch Passage] “Even a temporary opening wouldn’t do us MUCH good. We may be able to get someone out, or get inside… but if what you suspect about Medusa is true, then she’s probably down here… and if she is, this is where we need to be.” Nanami stated. She paused and looked around the darkness. “We need to find Medusa and put her down before she can awaken Asura. Now… let’s see if I can sense her.” Nanami placed her hands in front of her face and closed her eyes. In a moment, a blue aura was forming around her body. She was attempting to sense Medusa’s energies. [Kubo Hallways] Lina listened as Eruka spilled the beans… and after what Eruka said, Lina was VERY glad she didn’t end up vaporizing half the school to kill this girl. This was a much bigger problem than Lina expected. Medusa was a witch? A extremely powerful one? And she was using Black Blood, and claiming Asura would return? NONE of that sounded good! “Okay… wow. You’re right, this is heavy stuff… but I made a promise! If she’s past the barrier, then I don’t know if we can go after her now… hmmm… or maybe there’s a way we CAN.” Lina paused. “We could investigate Medusa’s office, but I doubt we’ll learn anymore than what you just told me… or we could try something crazy and escape this barrier and track her down!” Lina had a plan… a very, very insane plane. [Kubo Cafeteria] Aderu moved quickly, unleashing a blast of heat towards Paul – the heat evaporated the blood needles that were coming at him. Aderu tried to keep most of the heat directed off of Paul, but he would still probably end up sweaty. As Aderu helped his friend, Connor was staggering back to his feet. He clutched the wound on his chest and gritted his teeth as he looked to see Crona/Ragnarok fighting against… Meta Ridley!? It was clear that Rumi was up to her usual tricks, and Connor was again reminded of how lucky he was to have her for a friend. And for once, not just because she helped him with Sarai! He watched… Crona/Ragnarok was entirely focused on stopping the missiles coming from in front of him… leaving him exposed from behind. Connor tried to ignore the pain and he shot forward – but not with his body and sword. Connor’s wings, if you recall, are not the typical “feather” type of wings common to most angels. They are a variety of ribbons of light! Connor shot those ribbon-y wings towards Crona from behind, and the edges of the wings became razor sharp, burning with the power of angelic light! He hoped he could impale Crona repeatedly with his wings, and he hoped the power of light would be able to defeat the black blood! |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Shibusen Arch Passage- “It's not that I don't want to help...it's just I know I won't be much help on something like this. I'd get in the way. I mean...my dad's an archeologist. A lot of time he unearths, well, bad things. He has to fight them, to stop them. Everyday I worry he might not win his next fight, might not come home...And I never want to put other people in my position. If I run, I drag my friends away with me...but I don't abandon them...” Edda said, sighing, “I'd just get in the way here...but I can help my friends inside the school!” “Understood...” Jimi said, looking around, and walking off a bit, “Over here!” Jimi found part of the cube, large enough where Edda could get through. “I can't promise you much time...” Jimi told Edda, as light began to glow on the tip of his Keyblade, “So get through it as fast as you can.” Edda nodded, muttering under his breath, his speed increasing, Jimi pointing his Keyblade towards the cube, a beam of light firing from it. Edda darted forward, jumping upwards, and in the flash of an instant, Jimi's Keyblade opened the cube, Edda and Sol gone. “Impressive. How can I get one of those Keyblade thingies?” Cess asked, Jimi wiping some sweat from his brow. “Got to be born into it, or marry someone with one. And I'm already engaged,” Jimi chuckled softly. -Kubo Gym- “Really? Something's wrong? What was your first clue?” Axel said, raising an eyebrow towards Ras, spinning a dodge ball on his finger. “We've been sealed into a different dimension!” Lily said. “Oh? Really? That's kinda cool...” Axel said, rubbing his chin. “Coach!” “Yah, yah...well, what do you need help with, anyways?” Axel asked. -Remote Classroom- “I suppose it was worth a try...” Gallic sighed, still not worried. It was difficult for to make Gallic lose his cool. Mizune then charged at him, and Gallic smiled softly, opening his mouth...and breathed fire. Unlike his previous pyro attacks, this one was larger, fiercer, with more raw power in it, spreading outwards from his mouth in a large radius, taking up most of the classroom! His mother was a dragon, after all. -Kubo Cafeteria- Paul focused, magic erupting around him as the Black Needles rained down, creating a vortex that stopped them, as they fell to the floor around him. He was breathing heavily, burning through his magic quickly, weakening. He couldn't keep this up much longer... “GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS!” Have I mentioned Edda was good at speed spells? Edda had Sol out, his aura flaring around him. Edda was usually more laid back, forgiving...except when someone started to harm his friends. Edda and Sol's auras flared up together, forming, focusing... “SOUL RESONANCE!” Edda and Sol shot forward, Edda bring Sol around, fire springing around his blade, charging at Crona, jumping up and slashing downwards, sending a plume of fire towards the young boy/girl! |

Kubo Cafeteria With Edda's arrival, Rumi's eyes widened slightly, somewhat surprised by him appearing, and then jumping into something. But now with everyone on the attack, Rumi was also not going to let herself be out of the loop. She returned to her sketchbook, drawing up something else. Meanwhile, her Meta Ridley summon let out yet another screech, slashing at the shielding Crona with it's tail, before firing a blast of red energy from it's mouth at Crona. |

Doctor’s Office "Jason! Are you in here-" Melanie had rushed into the nurse's office, stopping suddenly when she noticed all the people gather around...It also didn't help that she still looked like Spoony....She REALLY REALLY needed to get this fixed.... Kanna looked down at the boy, obviously not recognizing her daughter. "What the hell do you want?" Such a nice nurse.... "Ummmmmmmm i'm...Well.....I was just checking on Jason! He had a tough battle before..." Meanwhile Chloe went up to her father, noticing his anxious look on his face (because he wanted to get back to EVIL). "He dad.....Ummm Lance and I are gonna go hide in my room from all the scary explosions, okay?" Hahaha...'hide' Kubo Cafeteria At first it seemed as if Connor was winning his fight....But in an instant the boy was clutching his shoulder in pain....For a moment Sarai felt as if she couldn't breathe... "CONNOR!!" Sarai yelled, covering her mouth suddenly in horror. She wanted to rush after him but in less than a second the boy was rushing off at Crona. She felt like a failure....She couldn't even protect her master...She couldn't even protect the boy she loved! Pathetic really! Now the others had stepped in....And she couldn't even move. She wanted to help, really she did....But she felt like her feet were stuck in place and that her ears were ringing (because they probably were) |

[Doctor’s Office] Spoony, who was still Melanie, had followed Melanie, who was still Spoony, to the nurse’s office. Confused yet? No? Well, Spoony is also now GS instead of Spoony, at least until Spoony comes back to be Spoony, who is Melanie. And now I know you’re confused. “Err, is Jason okay Nurse Narroh – err, mom?” Spoony blinked, confused and weirder out by calling the scary woman ‘mom’, Pepper, meanwhile, had no idea that Chloe had anything in mind other than actual hiding – and he wanted her out of here so that he could make sure that Medusa’s plan failed, so that HE could have an evil plan! “Yes, yes… good idea, Chloe. Go back to you room… ah, but wait…” Pepper’s rapier sword appeared in his hand (magically!) and he tapped Chloe on the shoulder with it, muttering a spell that would protect her. If someone tried to attack her, they would have to be strong enough to break Pepper’s magic. [Kubo Cafeteria] Connor would have rushed over to Sarai when she yelled his name, but he knew the best way to protect her would be to smash Crona with his white-flaming sword. |
