Ankh-Morpork Streets "KxS?! Oh, yay! I thought that meanie Xehanort was going to kill her! KxS!" Shimera cried out, running after Cess. KxS was so close to her destination, but then she smelled something else. Another werewolf...a familiar one. "Sam...!" she muttered to herself, stopping and looking around. |

Creepy Alleyway- “As for what I want...I want to meet the Avatar. The ability to control all four Elements is...very interesting to me...” As soon as Crystal heard this she assumed he worst, holding Hammah tightly in one arm and throwing her free hand up; a stream of water following it. She was obviously very worried about her best friend, and when people came around her in creepy alleyways talking about him she was naturally defensive. "Leave him alone!" she yelled, scooting back once more. "If you want to mess with the Avatar you gotta get through me first" Ansem's House- Melanie frowned a bit, trying to look tougher than she actually was. Her arm was throbbing but she refused to look down at it, instead she focused on the red head in front of her. She could feel her arm becoming sticky with blood. "I'm fine" she answered closing her eyes for a few moment. She debated looking down into the bowl to see how much she had collected, and finally after a few minutes did so. When she did she just about threw up. Melanie must n have cut herself deeper than she thought as the bowl was already half full. She paled a bit at the thought that that was supposed to be inside of her. "O-okay, I think i'm done for now..." she said quietly, looking back away....She leaned back once more and covered her cut with the opposite hand, not accomplishing much more than soiling her palm. Machine Corps Since Ed had told her that she should come up with an alias Eva had been thinking..... "Hmmmm what do you think sounds good?" the girl asked Winry "It has to be something cool....Sam...No....Tina...Ew....Oh how about Molly!" |

Alexandrian countryside-wagon "I know of faith healings. Another Exorcist I know performs miracles with prayer and the Innocence he was gifted with... But I have also learned that some things not even prayer and complete faith can take away. Such a thing rests in my eye." Didymus raised an eyebrow. "Your eye?" he asked. "Perhaps...or perhaps...do you WANT to be healed of it? Sometimes, at least, in order for healing to occur, the one to be healed must believe, and want it..." "I have to come with you, at least for a small part of your journey. This war WILL cost lives... Lives that will be all too eagerly exploited by the enemy we have so far kept at bay, a man which you would know by the title of "The Millennium Earl". His... Akuma, the demons he creates, are made from those that have been recalled from the clutches of death. I fear that you are ill-equipped to face the numbers of those monstrosities alone. The Earl will walk amongst the dead again, and I fear what would happen if he sets his eyes on any of you." Didymus listened intently, and spoke. "Yes...this "Millennium Earl"...my Order knows of him as well. Has faced him, or his minions, I'd think, on multiple occasions-of course, he isn't our sole focus, if you will-a great many things, as you well know, demand our attention-yours seems to have a more in-depth...history...with him. Still, I would think that should he confront us, regardless of whether or not you were here, then, well, Lord willing, we would still prevail...He...He's been with us, I'd think, thus far." Perhaps he was right. Perhaps not. Either way, he listened again. "Not to say that you can't take care of yourself! But... You Paladins often prioritize the destruction of darkness to other possible solutions. And... Well, you know the beliefs we follow, beliefs that my eye has allowed me to confirm, at least for myself. I simply can't rest at night thinking that I could have helped, could have brought peace to so many that were restless and in pain." "Prioritize the destruction of darkness? Indeed, but we wish to save all that, all WHO-can be saved. I am aware of your order's doctrine, to an extent, at least...and that may be where we disagree; in many cases, I believe, and I think Scripture tells...in many cases, some at least, there is nothing that CAN be saved in an dark creature-such as a "pure" demon, if you will-tragic though that may sound...God knows...but your eye, you say, has confirmed that for you? Hm...personally, if I may humbly say so..." He paused. "...I'd be a tad mistrustful of any information gleaned from something of shadow." Perhaps he was right in all that he said about all this and correct in that suspicion. Perhaps he was wrong. Either way, he finally listned as Allen changed the subject. "So what is it that you are looking for in Treno? Well... Besides my maste-... Cross, that is..." He chuckled. "Indeed, we could debate doctrine all day, couldn't we? Regardless, Dagger?" He looked to her, letting her decide whether or not to answer the question. (GS! Treno next post?) |

-Ankh-Morpork- Spork Residence...or what's left of it... “...That's...not good...” Spork muttered. He held up his sword, slashing upwards as the blade came at him, intending to slash through it with the diamond weapon! At the same time, he shifted his foot, a pillar of earth shooting up, attempting to hit the Akuma! “FLARE!” Garet yelled, turning as Cyrena charged at Sama. A flash of fire would appear in front of her! It wasn't a very strong attack, but he wasn't trying to hurt the girl. “Hey! We have creepy monster things attacking us! Maybe we should focus on helping innocent people and squabble later!” Garet said. Creepy Alleyway Alex sighed, shaking his head. “Now, now...Have I done anything that says I intend to bring any harm to you or your friends?” Alex wondered, not advancing...for now. “Have I attacked you? Prevented you from leaving? Anything like that? No...if you leave...you leave...I will be...disappointed, but that's up to you...” Hammah shivered again, clutching Rose tightly. He didn't like this guy, and he was worried about his 'father' Spork as well... -Central: Ansem's House- “Here,” Galv said, getting the bandages. He took Melanie's arm, wincing slightly. This close, and he felt pretty much everything she did. He worked through it though, bandaging her wrist and stopping the blood, putting pressure on her arm. “We'll let it sit for a few minutes,” Galv told the girl, “And then we'll need to change this in a few hours...” He paused, then realized he was touching her arm...and then blushed. He was just bandaging her arm, after all. -Alexandria Countryside- Sora was quiet, simply listening to Allen and Didymus talk. “...I had a friend who fell into darkness,” Sora spoke up, “He gave into it, wanting more power...But he wanted it in order to help his friends...He almost gave in completely, but...he managed to return back to us. Use the darkness, and not become victim of it...In my experience, darkness doesn't automatically mean evil...Most of the time though...” He grinned brightly now, “But enough of that! I don't think I've ever gotten to really introduce myself. Kinda got swept along in this. My name is Sora, and this is Kairi. We're from Destiny Islands. They're near Spiral Islands, actually, in the west. We're looking for...well...” Sora paused, then continued, “We're looking for...my brother. He's about my height. Blond hair, spikey. Blue eyes just like mine. Usually wears a lot of white. He got lost about a year ago though...His name is Roxas...” |

Ankh-Morpork- Crystal frowned...This guy had a point. But at the same time she didn't like him...Nor did Hammah. Crystal stood, still clutching the boy tightly against her. "Don't worry, it's okay...We'll go somewhere nice soon" she said sweetly to the boy before looking back up at Alex. "So you aren't threatening us then...But you want Sama so you can control the elements? You can't seriously think i'm going to tell you where to find him..." Central: Ansem's House- Melanie kept her eyes on Galv's face as he went to work bandaging her arm, wincing every now and then. after she was sure it was covered she looked down. Sure enough it was, tied neatly and covering her newest wound completely. She still felt a bit ill but pressed it away for the time being. "T-Thanks..." she managed softly, falling back on the pillows and staring at the ceiling. "That wasn't too bad I suppose, it'll probably be better next time, I didn't manage to get that much blood...Kinda pathetic." |

[Treno] [Gate] The Wagon that had carefully led the group from Ankh-Morpork, through Alexandria, finally came to its destination. In the shadow of a tall stretch of mountains sat a city with high walls and many black buildings. Treno was known as the city of eternal night. The mountains blocked out the sun, and meant that the city was always covered in darkness. Like Ankh-Morpork, it was an independent city with no allegiance to any one nation – though it was technically within Alexandria’s borders. Also like Ankh-Morpork, it was a seedy place. It was known for being a city of noblemen – where the rich and powerful gathered. It also was home to a den of thieves. “Oh yeah!” Zidane’s tail was wagging happily as they approached. “I LOVE Treno. On the main street, there’s a item shop that will let you battle giant monsters and if you win you get your purchase free; and just down the street is a stadium where they play children’s card games!” You might think this is a Yu-Gi-Oh joke. It is not. They have a stadium for children’s card games in Treno in Final Fantasy Nine. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Garnet had become quiet a long time ago. Listening to Allen and Didymus debate doctrine was not her cup of tea, and sadly she did not have any information that could help Sora’s search for his brother. (Though, she did feel bad for him, and silently promised to ask Beatrix to look into it – if she ever returned to Alexandria). Looking up at the great stone towers of Treno, Garnet remembered the towers of Alexandria’s Castle, and she wondered if she would ever get home. She hoped that Doctor Tot could help her. “… Halt!” The wagon was stopped at the gate. Much to Garnet’s surprise (and that of everyone else), they were stopped by two members of the Treno City Watch, and a third man, who was covered in a brown cloak. “Are you the wagon bound from Ankh-Morpork?” One of the city guards asked. [Ankh-Morpork] [Spork Residence] Sama was attacked with Solar Beam (!!!) but was saved by the quick thinking (and action) by Garet. He nodded to the redhead in thanks, but he felt his blood continue to boil at the sight of Mustang and Hawkeye. Then the Avatar realized that only Mustang and Cyrena were still in front of him. He was struck with a hint of panic, and then he felt something cold and metal press against the back of his head. “Stand down, Avatar.” Hawkeye commanded. Sama winced, both because he had been sloppy enough to get captured, and because he had already been shot by Riza Hawkeye once, and it was not a experience he was eager to repeat. Mustang bit his lip. This was his chance. “… Stand down, Lieutenant.” Mustang commanded, as he casually snapped his fingers and sent a fireball at the monster. “Sir?” Hawkeye asked. Sama eyed him with suspicion, and hatred. “Whatever you’re planning…” “I plan to destroy this monster. It is threatening the innocent people of Ankh-Morpork, and as a soldier, I cannot merely stand by and watch innocent people die when I have the power to help them.” Mustang said in a solemn tone, as he snapped again. “Hawkeye, Cyrena, orders are to subdue this monster… and then we will capture the Avatar.” Mustang turned his back to Sama. The Avatar paused, still weary, but Hawkeye lowered her gun and ran over, firing several shots at the monster. Sama paused, and wondered what the hell had just happened. [Alexandria] [Courtyard] Auron seemed disappointed; it had been years before he had a fight as dangerous (and fun) as the one he was embroiled in against Beatrix. Still, he knew that Yuna had decided to flee at the moment. For Rikku’s sake, he could not blame Yuna. Auron was fully prepared to sacrifice his (and Rikku’s) lives for Yuna – but not if it was in vain. Dying now meant Yuna would not complete her mission – and that meant they would fail their own. “Let’s go.” Auron said grumpily, grabbing Yuna and pulling her away from the crowd. [Inside Castle] Garland stood up in an instant. “What!? My wife is dead? Do not stand around you fools, find the murderer! I want their head mounted on my wall before sundown, do you understand!?” He was acting. [Central City] [Commander Center] Several of the Generals seemed disappointed, and others looked angry. However, a great many of them had impressed looks on their faces. The fact was Grumman had offices in both the East and in Central. He knew the staff, and he was a man who had an impeccable reputation. “… Well, it seems to have gotten quiet.” An older general sat at the end of the table. His shirt was missing a button, and he seemed to have a fake-tan and dyed-hair – probably an attempt to recapture his lost youth. “I take it, then, that no one else can think of a good objection to what Grumman said?” Grumman just sat silently, trying not to look too pleased. “… He’s old. What happens if he kicks the bucket soon?” One of the younger generals asked. “I don’t plan on it.” Grumman smirked. He had waited patiently, and planned carefully. “… Still, we have a lot of qualified generals in the room. Would anyone else like to say something?” It seemed that Grumman was already taking control of the meeting. The subtle way he had asked if anyone else wanted to speak – it was similar to the way Bradley would casually ask for opinions during meetings. It seemed Grumman was already anticipating his future in the Fuhrer’s Chair. [Outside Machine Corps] Jordan nodded, and his heart skipped a beat. Howe wanted HIM to accompany him? Jordan wondered if it was because this was Jordan’s first time on a real mission and he wanted to keep an eye on the rookie, or if Howe suspected he was actually underage and not legally qualified to be here. He did not know the answer, but he did not care. If Jordan was with the Captain, it was a good thing. He could impress Howe. “Yes sir!” Jordan said with a nod, and a silent grin. [Machine Corpes] “Molly, huh…” Winry rubbed her chin thoughtfully, not aware she was smearing oil from her glove onto her face. “… Yeah, I like that! Okay, then, Molly it is!” Winry beamed. Ed coughed. “You look like you got into a fight with a ink pen.” The girl blinked, and then noticed her reflection in a hub cap. She blushed – and then hit Ed in the face with a wrench. |

Treno Didymus had been sitting fairly quietly himself, perhaps chatting with Chloe or any of their band, but as they approached Treno, he was silent. Across the countryside, they had seen examples of Galdwinian occupation. The vehicle convoy, airships in the sky, etc. Now, they saw a different sort of evidence that Galdwin had been there entirely: the mountainsides were dotted with the occasional wreckage of a destroyed Alexandrian airship. “I LOVE Treno. On the main street, there’s a item shop that will let you battle giant monsters and if you win you get your purchase free; and just down the street is a stadium where they play children’s card games!” Didymus couldn't help but feel a tad...confused. "What kind of shop is that...? Is that even legal?" he asked. He had heard about the stadium...he heard the tournaments held there were...expensive, at least, in light of what they played. Still, he wondered what effects seeing the wreckage was having on Garnet. Steiner, for his part, was looking very grave and distressed. "Rest, sisters in arms..." they may have heard him mutter. After the battle, the Galdwinian airfleet had moved on and left the city in peace. However, when the guards approached... “Are you the wagon bound from Ankh-Morpork?” "Um, sister?" Didymus asked. Perhaps she would know about why they were expected? Ankh-Morpork Cyrena was...disappointed when Hawkeye caught Sama first, then shocked when Mustang ordered them to RELEASE THE AVATAR and engage their next target. HOWEVER, he called her by her first name...AND delivered such a noble, heroic speech... "Yes sir, colonel!" she cried, and snapped at the monster! Alexandria Castle Courtyard Rikku nodded, and ran after Auron and her cousin. Meanwhile, Beatrix was beside herself with fury. They had slipped away... Inside Belleza nodded, and rushed to find a soldier to hear what was going on. "...the princess...!" one guard yelled, standing there, shocked. "You!" Belleza called to her. "What's going on?! What about the princess? We need to find the queen's murderer!" "Ma'am..." the guard said. "...the princess IS the queen's murderer!" Belleza paused. "What? How is...why would..." She nodded. "We have to find her, then! Search the entire city! Leave no home inspected, no stone unturned!" She paused, wondering if Garland had heard... Central City, Amestris Command Center Armstrong simply sat, and listened as the other generals spoke. She was impressed at the courage of the one who openly voiced the prospect of Grumman dying-due to his AGE, no less-but noticed the way he spoke, how he carried himself. “… Still, we have a lot of qualified generals in the room. Would anyone else like to say something?” She smiled, or rather, smirked (as the "Ice Queen" pretty much NEVER smiled). "No, sir." she said. "I think you will make a fine replacement Fuhrer...as long as you've not gone soft from those years in the East..." she said. Machine Corps Nathaniel nodded. "Alright. Wait..." They waited in silence for a few minutes. "There." he finally said. "Our snipers should be in position. Let's move." With that, he walked across the street. He walked by casually, in his cloak, next to the gatehouse next to the front gate of the walled complex. This already drew suspicion. A guard, weapon drawn, emerged from the gatehouse, demanding that he put his hands in the air-and the snipers from across the street dropped him. Howe rushed into the gatehouse, pistol drawn, and fired several shots at the guard next to the gate and alarm controls, dropping him. A third guard came at him from the side-and in a flash, Howe had used his free hand to plunge his knife into the guard's chest. "Now, let's make our entrance..." he muttered, working with the gate controls. "Wilde! Check this gatehouse. If you see a way we can get in without opening the main gate, let me know...otherwise, it seems we'll have to draw a bit more attention..." he said. |

[Treno] "What kind of shop is that...? Is that even legal?" Zidane didn’t even bother trying to contain his laughter at Didymus question. He slapped his knee and leaned back, laughing like an idiot. “Legal is all relative in Treno. If you’re rich – and most people here are – you can buy the laws. If you’re not, you’re either good enough to get away with what you do, or you’re already in jail. Guess where I fall on that list?” Zidane laughed again. Vivi just gave a sigh, and looked over to Sora. “Um… um… what you said before about your brother… I’m sorry to hear about that.” Vivi seemed very sincere, his odd eyes were full of sadness. Hearing someone speak of a lost sibling touched him deeply… and he wasn’t even sure if it should have. Zidane’s laughter ceased as Garnet gasped and covered her mouth. Alexandria’s airships were broken and battered, lying on the ground in rubble. Some bodies of the soldiers were still out there. Garnet paused, and then leaned over the side of the wagon and threw up. She had seen a lot since the start of her journey, but the bodies of so many fallen soldiers – HER soldiers – was too much for the princess to bear. Chloe averted her eyes. Then, they were met by the guards, and Chloe shrugged her shoulders to Didymus; she wasn’t sure why they were being met either. “… We have someone who wanted to meet with you, when you arrived. Said to stop the cart from Ankh-Morpork and ask for someone named Dagger.” The guard said, indicating the person in the brown cloak. The person had one hand on the hilt of a sword. [Alexandria] [Inside Castle] “… Princess Garnet has murdered the Queen, in full view of the people…” Garland stated as he walked over to Belleza. “This is OUTRAGEOUS. Those zealots of Galdwin have brainwashed the Princess, and used her to assassinate our Queen. We must CRUSH Galdwin as punishment. Find Garnet, and mobilize the armies.” [Central City] [Command Center] With a few grumbles, the majority of the Generals agreed that Grumman was the best to replace Bradley. The few who wanted desperately for their own names to come up eventually sighed and acknowledged that Grumman had already won. It seemed the general from the East had been playing things very carefully. He had been planning this for a long time; but Grumman could not have made it this far on his own. He was a lazy man who hated paperwork – and he had a very good friend who did all of his paperwork for him. “… Well, it seems we’re in agreement. Congratulations, Fuhrer Grumman.” The General stood and saluted. So did the others. Grumman strummed his fingers together. “Well, this is a major surprise, but I’ll accept the duty with honor.” He bowed humbly to the others, and then stood up and moved a few feet to his right. He sat down again, this time in the Fuhrer’s chair. Grumman gave a smile, coughed once, and then reached for a white memo pad on the table. It was the ‘Orders’ pad that Bradley had always used to issue new orders. Grumman took the pad, a ink pen that sat next to it, and began to scribble a few notes. “… As a first act, I should most certainly appoint a replacement for Eastern Command. Luckily I know a fine officer who will do a splendid job. Hmm… yes, I also think it wise to transfer a few of my personnel here to Central. I know some dependable young men and women who will make a fine addition to the staff here.” Grumman was speaking very respectably, as if he was asking for opinions – but he was already writing. Armstrong was sitting close enough that she might seen one of the orders he was writing. It was an Order of Promotion for a certain State Alchemist. [Machine Corps] Jordan followed Howe, obeying his commands. His hands were clenched around his pistol, and they were shaking ever so slightly. Sweat rolled down his neck. This was it. Combat. His first experience with combat. It was uncomfortable, but at the same time the surge of adrenaline through his blood made him excited. He watched in amazement as Howe dropped several Amestrian Guards in a matter of seconds. It was something to see, and in that moment Jordan’s respect for his CO grew considerably. This man was his boss for a reason – he was incredible! “W-Wow…” Suddenly, another guard was moving. Jordan gasped and reacted instantly, bringing up his pistol and firing a shot – into the man’s shoulder. The guard dropped his weapon and stumbled, but he was still very much alive and he instantly lunged at Howe in anger and confusion. […] Inside the building, Winry was about to drag ‘Molly’ off to go inspect one of the tanks they were supposed to work on – when suddenly she heard the sound of gunshots. Winry tensed up, and instantly looked to the two boys in the corner. Her blue eyes were filled with uncertainty. They WERE in a military instillation, so she figured it could just be target practice… right? “What the hell was that?” Ed demanded as he jumped from his seat. He had been on a box, absently chatting with Al. “Gunshots, brother… you don’t think…” Al’s mind wandered to the worst possibility. “The serial killer…” Ed gulped. They assumed it was Scar. “Stay here, both of you!” Ed shouted to Winry and Eva as the brothers headed for the door. |

-Ankh-Morpork- Alleyway Alex sighed, “It seems you're smarter then you appear...I do want to control the Elements...But not through someone. I wish to control them myself! I wish to see just how your Bending relates to my Psynergy...And how it relates...to alchemy...” There was a glow of red, and alchemic energy sparked from Alex, the floor shifting shooting up behind Crystal and Hammah, creating a wall! Hammah shook, fire bursting from his hands. He let out a yell, pointing his palms at Alex. Flames shot from the young Bender, creating a powerful vortex of flames, hitting Alex! Spork Residence Garet paused, then turned his attention to the monsters as well. He pulled out his sword, which began to glow! A symbol appeared in the air over the Akuma, and three blasts of energy shot at it! Garet's sword did it's unleashed ability! -Treno Gate- “We're a wagon from Ankh-Morpork,” Rincewind said, looking nervous. He didn't like fighting. Much preferred to just run. Sora noticed the man finger his sword hilt. He frowned, getting ready to summon his Keyblade if needed. He didn't say or do anything right now though...He waited to see what Didymus and Garnet would do. -Central: Ansem's House- “It's fine,” Galv said, patting Melanie on the shoulder, “You...did good...” He sighed slightly, not sure how one would cheer someone else up in this kind of situation. “You rest...I'll go put your...ummm...blood, into the freezer...He said it was downstairs...” |

Ankh-Morpork Streets "Sam!" KxS cried out, beginning to hug her friend. "You won't believe it, I can control my transformation now! See, watch!" she told him, making her fingernails become claws. "Ain't that awesome?!" Shimera was right next to Cess. She looked at the people who have followed KxS. "Who are they?" she asked, pointing at them. |

Treno Allen watched carefully as they approached Treno. The city that never slept. The city where the law was as much in the hands of the rich as it was in the hands of those that enforced it. The city where he was supposed to meet Marshall cross, and where things were supposed to get pretty hot. The place which has recently been attacked. Allen was never used to seeing a lot of dead bodies. It was one thing to see a man die, which was a sadness of its own kind, but he only saw a massive slaughter like this once before. It was an attack by the Earl on one of the large cities next to the Dark Order headquarters, the Earl trying to make a point. The point was made. Hundreds of people died. Even more became Akuma from the sadness of a lost loved one in the confusion of the attack. Over a hundred finders and six exorcists were wiped out in the attack. One of those was someone Allen met before, an exorcist he tried to save from a downward spiral into depression and self-destruction. Now, a similar scene here, caused by someone other than the Earl. Allen just couldn't believe what he was seeing. Did humans really have so many monsters amongst them? He hated to see his faith in humanity shaken this way. So much killing. So much bloodshed. For what? What did wars solve? No... Such darkness did not belong here. Perhaps this was why Marshall Cross chose this point to meet Allen. Maybe this was a test. And maybe... Maybe this was a way to help people. So pondering, the boy jumped out of the back of the wagon, turning to face the broken ships, and put his hands together in prayer, closing his eyes and speaking softly, wishing peace and rest to all those that have died. After doing so, the boy quietly returned to the wagon, somber and downtrodden, a tear track running down one of his cheeks. He quickly regained composure when he got back to the wagon, and watched warily as the guards asked for the group. He decided to remain silent for now... But if he had to, he could always use a different approach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ankh-Morpork [Spork Residence] The shadowy figure blocked Spork's attack, grinning wildly as the ower was dispersed, and dodged out of the way as the Alchemists began to fight against him as well. Garet, having attacked the shadowy man, was also avoided, the blasts lancing into the ground where he used to stand. Laughing, he began to spin both pendulum-blades around himself, shadows flowing around them as he spun the blades, deflecting a few more attacks, before pointing forward... And out of the ground rose two large, balloon-like mechanical constructs. They looked like actual balloons, but with a human face centered above the middle of the balloon, surrounded by... Cannons. Each one of these things looked like a mobile artillery platform with large-barreled cannons all over the body. The shadowy man grinned as the two blobs shifted some of their cannons to face towards enemies, one towards the Alchemists, and the other towards Spork as the shadowy man who identified himself as Seylen launched towards Garet... And gunfire began. Bullets. LARGE bullets, each poisoned with the same toxic virus that each of the things naturally produced. And with multiple cannons firing, someone was bound to get hurt. As the gunfire began, Seylen rushed at Spork and swung his blades around... And shot one at Garet, while shooting the other one into the ground beside Garet. |

Treno As they had approached, Didymus had offered some silent prayer concerning the wreckage around them-even more so when Garnet VOMITED. However, he was a Paladin-although they were ministers before soldiers, they were called on to serve as irregular officers and chaplains in times of war. He had been trained and brought up to be able to face the horrors of war-although to see them for the first time was still a tad...unsettling. It was tragic that it came to this...but if it was what was necessary to protect their country, to end this war as quickly and with as little loss of life as possible... Still, Garnet's reaction was concerning. "Princess!" Steiner cried. "Dagger!" Didymus said. "Are you alright?!" Steiner asked. Didymus sat quietly, turned away from Garnet, his head bowed. ...they reached the gate, and began talking to the guards. Chloe shrugged at his inquiry, and Didymus listened to the guards go on. “… We have someone who wanted to meet with you, when you arrived. Said to stop the cart from Ankh-Morpork and ask for someone named Dagger.” Didymus was wary, especially since the man in the cloak had a hand on his sword. "May I ask who the person who wanted to stop the cart is...?" he said. Alexandria Castle “… Princess Garnet has murdered the Queen, in full view of the people…This is OUTRAGEOUS. Those zealots of Galdwin have brainwashed the Princess, and used her to assassinate our Queen. We must CRUSH Galdwin as punishment. Find Garnet, and mobilize the armies.” Belleza hesitated. She wondered about Beatrix, but if this meant that SHE was now commander of all Alexandria's forces instead... "Yes...yes, sire." she said, and hurried off...however, several moments later, she ran back. "Sire...the guards inform me that General Beatrix has reappeared? Shall we fetch her?" she asked. Ankh-Morpork Watching the new pattern of attack they were faced with, Cyrena positioned herself, and kept snapping-her beams firing at and intercepting any "bullet" heading towards Mustang! "Sir! Concentrate, I'll keep you covered!" she cried. Central City, Amestris Command Center Armstrong simply sat with her slight smirk on her face as Grumman casually, yet confidently, took his position as the new Fuhrer. Still, an order caught her eye... "Mustang, sir? That...that high....?" He'd outrank even HER. Machine Corps The guard lunged at Howe, but he was wounded already by Wilde's shot! As the guard lunged, Howe sidestepped and drove his knife into the side of the guard's neck-penetrating his jugular. "You need to be more accurate. Aim for the center of the forehead or the left of the chest. Or even the neck. They went over that at training, didn't they?" he asked. His tone was calm, even-although it did carry a sternness about it, a weight which seemed to say that the order he had given HAD to be followed. "Wait..." he said. "Is that...someone's coming. Hide. Be ready. Swift, deadly." he said, and took a position near the door/behind some things in hiding. |

-Ankh-Morpork- Crystal knew that alchemy led to bad things...And apparently Hammah did to as he attacked Alex with a massive show of his fire bending. The girl stumbled back, the boy still in her arms. "No Hammah! Don't!" she said, hugging the boy tight, half inpressed by his power and half worried about what Alex would do. Crystal shifted the boy and used her free hand to send water--in the form of sharp ice shards-- at Alex! -Central: Ansem's House- "Uh...Okay....Thanks" Galv left the room and Melanie sighed, leaning back against the bed. This was just plain awkward the girl decided without a second thought. Of course there was no non-awkward way to go about cutting yourself open in front a boy you thought was cute. Wait....Cute. Melanie blushed, which was difficult considering she just drained herself of a good amount of blood. Was it her or was it cold in here? "....Ugh...." Machine Corps Molly heard the gunshots but instead of worry, she became curious of where they were from. The boys quickly told them not to leave and rushed off. Molly raised a brow. "We have permission to drive TANKS. Please don't tell me they seriously want us to stay put." |

Ankh-Morpork Streets The teen smiled, hugging KxS back. "It's good to see you...but...well...now that you have control of your powers...can you come back to us? Please?" Sam inquired. "I'm telling you...Xehanort's evil. Very evil. has you seen what I had seen..." He shuddered. "I don't think you'd like to mess around with him. Please, come back to us...it'll be safer for you." |
