“They are...monsters. There are many ways to make them. The one we are looking for use to be human, but was injected with a Philosopher's Stone. He has become...Chaos...Currently a young girl is keeping him under control,” Xehanort explained. “He can also use the power of the Keyblade...”

Green Dragon Inn

“That would be to dangerous,” Cess said, shaking his head at Sam, “She's not going to know why she's not being injured. She might accidentally get you killed, and do you think she would like the fact of being responsible for your death?”

He sighed, and glanced to Shimera, “Okay...well...Sam, where did you end up at? Maybe we can trace the magic somehow...”

Spork Residence

“I didn't know if you wanted others to know you're here, so I didn't say anything to the other Benders,” Spork told Sama, handing him his food, “And...well...the Amestries military seems to have surrounded the city. No one knows what they want, but apparently everyone also knows they want...well, you. The Avatar...”

He walked over to Hammah, handing the young boy some food as well, then turned back to Sama.

“I might be able to help you escape, if you want, but the underground doesn't run outside the city...”

City Gates

The gates opened slightly, and three figures came out. One was holding a white flag.

Commander Vimes of the City Watch, followed by Captain Carrot (who was holding the flag), and Drumknott, Veterni's secretary.

“Hello!” Captain Carrot said, smiling and walking forward, waving the flag. “We're here to talk!”

Vimes sighed. He was glad that Carrot was here. People tended to be...nicer, when he was around. He had an odd effect on most people.

He produced a cigar, lighting it as they approached.

I'll bite your legs off!
Alexandrian countryside

The situation was getting tense fast. Didymus looked between the checkpoint and the wagon he was mounted before.

Zidane was threatening him.

"Put your weapon away." he said. "If Galdwin was Garnet's enemy, we would never have let her set out when she came within our borders. And yes, it appears that Galdwin has invaded Alexandria...did you know that Alexandria has chosen to ally itself with Amestris in this war? They practically declared war on Galdwin-so why is this surprising? A preemptive strike before Alexandria had time to act on its new direction. Are you saying that Galdwin has no right to defend itself, or neutralize threats to its security? If anything, this should give us more haste-if Garnet can take Alexandria's throne, than a peace can be worked out, hopefully. As it is, I doubt Alexandria's current leadership, you know, the one that has been antagonizing Galdwin for quite a while-isn't willing to make peace..."

Still, it was clear the mood was tense. Steiner was glaring at the Paladins, and sitting closer to Garnet...

"Halt!" a soldier at the checkpoint cried. "This area is under the control of the Galdwinian Army. I'm afraid we'll have to search your wagon before we let you go on."

Didymus dismounted the horse and nodded to Chloe.

"Of course. But perhaps you should know..."

He removed his overcloak, showing his robe, and showed his sword to the sentry.

"Ah...a Paladin? Brother, may I ask what you're doing out here?"

"I am on a high-priority mission, although the information is somewhat sensitive, and it's placed me alongside some people that may be unusual traveling companions for a Paladin. I trust you don't need me to reveal ALL the details?"

"I dunno...let me have you talk to our lieutenant."

"Of course."

Didymus and the soldier moved toward the checkpoint, but they all may have noticed that a couple more soldiers were dealing with a man in a wizard's robe...

"Sir, if you would please let us take a look at that pack-"

"You Galdwinian zealots will just take it from me! It's got all sort of magical items you just LOVE to burn! Get away from me!"

"You're going to have to turn around if you won't let us search your-"

"You won't let me into my own country! Of all the-you just want to burn IT, I'll wager! You can't stop me from-"

At this point, the wizard had raised his staff, and a soldier had in turn raised his rifle at him.

The wizard cried out, and a suddenly, the soldier dropped his rifle and clutched his arm.

A clash of metal on metal, a flash of light, and a thud were heard.

Didymus stood over the wizard, sword drawn and glowing. The mage was unconscious on the ground, his staff several feet away from him, knocked out of his hand.

The Paladin turned to the injured soldier, clutching his arm-a nasty burn was apparent.

Didymus had a look at it, then, without a word to the soldier, knelt by him, and slowly moved his hands over the wound.

He knelt there, head bowed for a bit, and then looked up, and stood up.

The soldier had stopped moaning. His burn was gone.

The soldiers stood there for a moment, and nodded to each other, then looked at Didymus, who offered a quick point upwards, before another soldier escorted him into the small tent they had set up.

Ankh-Morpork-Amestris camp

“Sunshine…?”

Cyrena nodded.

"Yes sir. I know, some people make fun of me for it, but I like it. Besides...it sort of fits. I don't know if you're read my dossier, sir."

She smirked at him.

“… Anyway, current orders are to wait. We are trying to arrange a meeting with the ruler of Ankh-Morpork to have them hand over the Avatar peacefully. If he refuses…”

Cyrena's smirk dropped.

"What?! Wait? Sir, the Fuhrer was MURDERED yesterday by this monster and we're just waiting? Why?! We've got what we need to go in there and get him, Ankh-Morpork ALREADY declared war on us if they're hiding the Furher's killer, didn't they?"

She sighed.

"Colonel Mustang, sir, please...send me in. Or let's roll-they won't be able to stop you, will they? Giving them time only lets them devise a plan or sneak the Avatar out! Either way, colonel, you're not just going to let some of the big wigs higher up stand in the way of JUSTICE, are you?"

She...clearly was not well-initiated in military courtesies. Or she didn't care.

She sighed again, though, and hung her head in an apologetic, submissive manner.

"Still, though, it is your decision, colonel, sir. And I respect your judgment."

And she did. Were it almost any other officer, though, she would not be quite be so open or calm about it.

The Crazy One

[Alexandrian Countryside]

“…” Garnet was not sure what to think at the moment, and merely sat in silence. Galdwin had aided her in her time of need, and she had promised to stop her mother… and now Galdwin was ready to invade Alexandria.

‘I can’t let this happen…’ Garnet thought to herself. If she succeeded in stopping Brahne, she could bring an end to the war and allow Alexandria to remain independent. If Galdwin fought them in war and won, it would undoubtedly mean an end to Alexandria’s magic.

Then, a scene unfolded. A mage struggled with a soldier and was subdued by Didymus; and Garnet flinched. She was angry herself that the soldiers had stopped one of her citizens from entering his country, but she could do nothing about that right now.

She paused and watched Didymus. It seemed he had healed the injured soldier… it made her curious, mainly because it looked a lot like magic, but she knew it couldn’t be.

Shaking her head, Garnet fell silent once more.

Chloe followed along behind Didymus, still blushing and wishing she had her proper robes. Undercover work really stunk sometimes.

[Ankh-Morpork: Amestris Camp]

"What?! Wait? Sir, the Fuhrer was MURDERED yesterday by this monster and we're just waiting? Why?! We've got what we need to go in there and get him, Ankh-Morpork ALREADY declared war on us if they're hiding the Furher's killer, didn't they?"

Mustang’s face remained unflinching and unemotional. He was very good at portraying a stoic expression. She spoke with a raw passion and fury, and it made him slightly uncomfortable. He wondered what she would say if she learned that the person who truly murdered Fuhrer Bradley was standing in front of her.

He also wondered what she would say if she learned what Bradley really had been.

“I am not about to go in guns-blazing. I don’t want to cause a bloodbath, and besides, in the chaos of a battle we may very well provide the Avatar a chance to escape. If we block every exit to the city – as we have – we have a much higher chance of catching him.”

Hawkeye approached. “Sir, three figures have just emerged from Ankh-Morpork. They have a white flag.”

Mustang nodded. “Very well.”

He exited the tent, and walked forward to meet with Carrot.

“I am Colonel Roy Mustang, representing Amestris.” Mustang introduced himself. “A murder was committed in Amestris yesterday, by the Bending Avatar. We have it on good information that the Avatar is hiding in Ankh-Mopork.”

Mustang’s face turned grim. “I’ll be blunt; we want the Avatar, dead or alive. I have been vested with full authority over Amestris’ army to find the Avatar. It is not my wish to have even a single pair of Amestrian boots step foot in your city today.”

“So, you have one hour. One hour for the Avatar to surrender himself, or for the people of Ankh-Morpork to deliver him to us. If this does not happen, we will find him ourselves, and any resistance will be put down.”

Mustang knew in his heart that this was wrong. He was threatening to invade Ankh-Morpork, a move that would result in spilt blood, all to capture someone who had nothing to do with Bradley’s death.

He could not allow that thought to stop him, though. He needed to do this. He had to become Fuhrer, it was the only way he could put an end to Amestris’ involvement in the wars, and the only way he could atone for what he had done in the past.

-Alexandria Countryside-

Rincewind gulped, watching the scene unfold. He hoped that the Paladins wouldn't try to stop him as well...Mostly, he didn't want to get stabbed for some reason.

Sora stepped out of the wagon, looking around, wondering why they had stopped.

“What's happening?” Sora wondered. He looked to the fallen mage. “...Oh...”

-Ankh-Morpork-

Outside the Wall

“I’ll be blunt; we want the Avatar, dead or alive. I have been vested with full authority over Amestris’ army to find the Avatar. It is not my wish to have even a single pair of Amestrian boots step foot in your city today.”

“So, you have one hour. One hour for the Avatar to surrender himself, or for the people of Ankh-Morpork to deliver him to us. If this does not happen, we will find him ourselves, and any resistance will be put down.”

Vimes took a drag of his cigar, staring at the smoke. He paused, then pulled another one out.

“Want one?” he offered Mustang, “They're the cheap kind.”

He paused, taking another drag, “We have Amestrian boots step foot in our city all the day. Several of your countries citizens are in the city. Usually not to bad. They get Veterni. Your Fuhrer is the same, I hear. Controls the country. Veterni controls the city.”

He tapped his cigar, getting rid of some ash from the tip, “We also have alchemists. I don't think we have any like you, but we do have a Guild of Alchemists. Also have Benders. They also tend to be good. Make some good stew.”

Drumknott sighed. He was told to let Vimes talk if he wanted...

“You're a soldier. You're trying to do cop business. Do you really think the best way to find a single someone is with an army? And you're giving us an hour? Seems to me you want to invade Ankh-Morpork. Can't blame you. Strategic position. Of course, you might drag in other countries and species if you do. Do you know Ankh-Morpork is the largest dwarf city? There's more dwarves in that city then in their own mines,” Vimes wondered. Another drag.

“Oh, I don't think I've introduced myself. I'm Commander Vimes, of the City Watch. I'll look for this 'Avatar' but we'll need more then hour,” Vimes answered, then stepped back.

Drumknott frowned, moving forward.

“Commander Vimes is a bit...crash...” Drumknott said, “But he does speak some truth. There are a million and more places that one could hide in the city. We would need more time to find him. Rest assured, Veterni does wish to cooperate. We just must be...careful. Considering the populace of our city, we always have to walk on eggshells.”

Green Dragon Inn

“I think we'd have to know where she is,” Cess said, “Magic has to have something to travel through, to affect...So...I think we just have to find her. Show me where you were at after being sent from there, and maybe I can trace the magic...”

Didymus and Chloe were led into a tent.

"It seems you were sent to us none too soon, Brother..." a Galdwinian Army first lieutenant inside said.

"...but who is this?" he asked, indicating Chloe.

"Oh, this? She's Sister Chloe Valens...she's on an assignment, I'm on a different one, sensitive information, and our paths have crossed.

"Still, I am escorting a VIP...a sympathizer in the Alexandrian government, let's just say."

The soldiers nodded.

"We still will have to search your wagon."

"Of course." Didymus nodded. "be careful, though, I think it's enchanted...again, our missions have forced us to...well, into unusual situations, perhaps."

"Alright, let's get to searching, then."

"One moment...could we have the tent a moment?"

"Of course, Brother."

The soldiers filed out, and Didymus turned to face Chloe.

"Sister...that "important thing" I spoke of last night? Here it is, now that we may speak freely: Garnet and I were aboard the Red Rose when it was on its way to Central. Brahne confronted us, and Garnet mentioned that some man twisted her, or did something to her. Brahne indignatly replied that "that man"...was her husband..."

He paused.

"So it seems that that may be another piece of the puzzle in this conspiracy that now drives Amestris and Alexandria...so now you know, in case something should happen to me and I can't pass it on."

He paused.

"And as I may have said last night, Sister, it's good to see you." he added, off the topic.

"Come, let us return to our wagon."

As they went back outside, the soldiers had approached the wagon.

"Please cooperate." Didymus said. "They just want to check to see if we're carrying anything that would prove vital to the war or what have you. Weapons or "run-of-the-mill" magic items are fine."

He looked at Garnet intently to get her attention, and mouthed "trust me" to her.

Steiner shuffled.

He was fingering his sword's hilt.

"Princess?" he whispered.

Ankh-Morpork-Amestris encampment

Cyrena stood and looked over what was happening. Actually, they may have noticed that she was watching Mustang intently, even...dreamily.

It kept her silent. Still, she was raring to get out there and track their target down.

Alexandria City

She may not have been there quite yet, but at least, she was on her way...Beatrix was hastening back to the city she loved so dearly...to see, perhaps, just where her soldiers' loyalties truly were...

However, some others WERE already there.

"Ooooooh...so THIS is Alexandria City! Hey, all the soldiers are girls! And that castle looks cool..."

Rikku was taken by the city. She had forgotten that they were on something of a mission...

"...Right. C'mon." The teen was calming down more, seeing that there was a possibility of getting to the werewolf. Well, the other werewolf. "I ended up over here." He pointed to the alleyway. "Oh..." KxS replied to Xehanort, looking at her new clothes. She took a minute to think. The term "monsters" just wasn't specific enough for her. There are many types of monsters out there. Dragons, vampires, werewolves, zombies, evil witches, bloodthirsty unicorns...but she just couldn't picture in her head what a Homunculus was.

But she decided not to ask him what the creatures looked like, for she didn't want to agitate him. She could somehow tell he looked like the type that might give her a certain look if she asked.

"So, I'm supposed to look for this...'Chaos' fellow?" she asked, tilting her head.

“Errr...I would...be careful,” Rincewind said as the guards came to search the wagon. The Luggage snapped at them, scuffling on the roof of the wagon, “He might uhhh...eat you, if you're not careful. I haven't any luck training him.”

Sora paused, and stepped aside to let them look in the wagon. He knew he had a Keyblade, a very rare magical item, but he wasn't about to volunteer that information...After all, it only came when he summoned it forth.

“Hello!” Kairi said politely to the guards, “I don't have anything to declare.”

-Outside Ankh-Morpork-

Captain Carrot glanced to Cyrena, then over to Mustang. He paused, then continued to look around at the assembled forces.

Ankh-Morpork did have an army. But many of it's citizens knew how to fight...

-Ankh-Morpork-

Outside Green Dragon Inn

Cess focused on the ground, feeling the magic in the ground.

“Huh...let's see...I see the magic...” Cess muttered. Suddenly, darkness sprouted around him, grabbing the necromancer and sending him flying into a wall.

“...Ow...” Cess said, shaking his head, “Okay...This guy is pretty strong...”

-????-

“No...I know where he is...More or less,” Master Xehanort said, “You will accompany me, to help recruit him. After all, you can show that I mean well.”

Of course, he didn't say what he'd do if she refused to help.

“You might want to close your eyes. Some people think this is unpleasant when they're fully conscious, at least the first few times,” Xehanort continued, then snapped his fingers. Darkness swelled around him and Kxs, taking them in...

-Hyrule Outskirts-

Roxas and Namine were walking away from Hyrule for now. They couldn't find anything that would help Roxas control his Homunculus side.

He froze, jumping in front of Namine, as two portals of darkness appeared in front of them, Master Xehanort and Kxs appearing from them.

“Hello...Chaos,” Xehanort grinned, “I hear you could use some help...”

???? #2

Of the group of 12, only 6 remained here still, waiting for their signals. A blonde woman wearing shades and dressed in a smart business suit. A man dressed as a dandy, black hair roguishly curly, though mostly covered by a top hat. The third was a young girl, spiky hair making her look quite tomboyish, though she wore a dress that definitely seemed to contradict that. The fourth was a giant of a man, beady eyes looking around him in nervous and aggravated anxiousness. And the last two were the twins, one sitting on top of the other.

Slowly, a gate opened up in front of each of them and a voice echoed through the otherwise empty darkness.

"You may step through and begin, my dear family. Now go! Find your targets! And... Do enjoy yorselves. The end of the world is brought about only once!"

Each of the 6 people (5 gates, the twins going through the same gate) saluted in their own way and disappeared...

It had begun.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alexandrian Countryside

The situation was tense. The soldiers from Galdwin were still tense after the confrontation with the mage, and the other group was also internally worried. They did have the princess of Alexandria with them after all, even though she was currently as unlike her royal self as she could be.

There were only a few ways the situation could get any worse.

And one of those ways happened.

A small purple blur appeared right behind the Galdwinian soldier patrol, just a brief flare of purple smoke, letting out a man in a sharp business suit and tall top hat that stepped through as though he was simply taking a stroll. He made only a single step before he stopped, blinking in surprise, looking quite baffled as the purple haze behind him vanished entirely.

He looked human. Tanned skin, a small cigarette hanging on his lip, and incredibly fair-faced. He stood straight and proud, a noble in the best sense of the word, and seemed to embody the very meaning of a righ, young man. He looked about 25 years old and had a small mole under his left eye, an imperfection that didn't mar his looks at all. Some stubble covered his chin, but it was brief and short, as though he hadn't shaved for a day or two.

However, underneath the calm and harmless appearance, this man had something else about him. Something felt... Off. Like if someone placed a piece of a different puzzle into a slot that could barely fit it.

"Huh... Did I make the wrong turn again?"

He looked around curiously and shook his head with a sigh, perfectly aware that he probably made quite the entrance and scene and not caring in the least, before coming up to the closest soldier and tapping him on the shoulder epaulette.

"Excuse me! I seem to have made a wrong turn and lost my way. Could you tell me where we are right now?"

[Elsewhere]

Allen Walker was, yet again, lost.

The boy has stayed in a small inn in Central last night, deciding to not bother the man who called himself DiZ any more than he should After eating 3/4ths of the soup the man made, Allen decided that he was imposing, and left after having a very pleasant chat with the man.

He had been given general directions on how to get to Treno, and he was sure he could get there within the day, especially since he traveled light and could run most of the way there. But he again forgot the fact that he was the kind of person that got lost too easily.

So here he was, jogging through the Alexandrian countryside and wondering where he went wrong. By his estimations, he should have been coming up on the Treno area, where the sky was always dark. But he didn't. It was still bright outside, clear and not a single cloud to mar his day.

... And his stomach rebelled again.

"Well, this is quite the problem, huh, Tim? And I'm hungry again..."

The little golem just shook itself in a way one would shake their head, and continued to chase a butterfly.

Allen simply continued jogging, heading down the road. He saw no one on it for a while now, which was actually quite strange. He only saw some soldier patrols here and there, but he managed to avoid them pretty easily. However...

He never expected to see a caravan being shaken down by a soldier patrol. So when he saw that sight off in the distance, he headed there.

Maybe they could give him directions?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ankh-Morpok

Another similar purple haze appeared...

In the bathroom of one of the lesser guildhouses in Ankh-Morpok, literally spewing out a juggernaut of a man that blasted through the bathroom door and ended up smashing into one of the guild members. A girl no older than 20 years, whom he managed to brush aside like a fly and smash her into a nearby wall.

"Ugggh... I hate that thing... Oi. You. You little town wench." He stepped over to the girl that was just now picking herself off the ground, two more people watching in shock as the giant of a man picked the girl up by her HEAD with a hand that was big enough to clamp onto the head like a vice.

"This the guild? Guild that... Uhh... Teaches? This the place for all that "education" crap?"

The poor girl, who has been shocked utterly speechless, could only whimper as the giant man proceeded to squeeze harder with his hand.

"TELL ME!"

She screamed in response, only for Skin to clench his hand. The girl's scream of terror turned into one of pain as Skin continued to press in before there was a loud snapping sound and the girl hung limp. A scream came from one of the witnessesm another female teacher of much older age that watched in horror as the man killed her protege, and turned to run, only to be picked up by the giant, who moved almost impossibly quickly, threw aside the girl's no longer breathing body and picked up the old woman.

"IS THIS THE DAMNED GUILD??? IS IT???"

The old woman closed her eyes as she screamed out an answer. "YES!!! Yes, this is the Teacher's guild! Please... Don't hurt me!"

The giant man's angry expression turned into one of abject cruelty as he smirked at her.

"Now that wasn't too hard, was it. Thanks. Now go to hell, you filthy human bag of flesh."

He threw the older woman aside as well, before cracking his hands as his grin widened into one of monstrous psychosis, eyes wide and wild, looking all too eager.

"For you, Earl, and for the sweet, sweet victory that awaits! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE!!!"

As he screamed, the surrounding area began to shake. All metallic objects began to vibrate, subjected to electromagnetic current as Skin gathered power, purple bolts of lightning playing in his hands. He let out another massive roar, an angry and animalistic shout that tore through the air, followed by a massive, spherical outward blast of pure electrical might.

It looked like someone set off building-sized Ball Lightning in the area. The blast lit up the area like a sun, the currents powerful enough to shatter the stone the building was made of, turning every single living being inside the building into a pile of ash. The entire building then exploded upwards, a lightning bolt lashing out of the area, striking upward but then curving, impacting into the side of the Patrician's Palace, blasting a giant hole in the outer wall and destroying a small fraction of the building's Eastern wing.

Back at the point of utter devastation, the giant of a man was left standing in a crater where the Teacher's Guild used to be, grinning maniacally. He lifted a hand, snapped his fingers, and a similar purple haze appeared, letting through about a dozen men, each with blank, glowing-purple eyes.

Skin pointed towards the palace in the center and laughed. "HahaHA! Go get them, boys!!!"

And the human-like creatures ran, speeding through the streets, curved scythe blades instead of arms cutting down any civilian or living creature they met, heading straight for the Patrician's Palace.

I can't see what you're imagining
-Ankh-Morpork-

The city was under attack. Some strange force had appeared, leveled the Teacher's Guild (students weren't complaining), and were now attacking the populace.

If it was one thing the Ankh-Morpork populace could do, it was run. And run they did, quickly, from these strange creatures.

Not to far away from the scene, a few moments among. C.M.O.T. Dibbler was in an unusual situation. He sold his sausages in a bun to a number of clientele, and was never one to pass on a sale, but a large lizard looking like creature with sharps claws and a pointed hat was, even for Ankh-Morpork, something new. The wizards had even gotten him a special staff, that he could hold in his three fingered hands.

“So you want...you want another one?” Dibbler wondered, holding up another sausage in a bun. He could convince most people to eat one, but a second one? Unheard of.

“Oui, mon ami,” Emile the Raptor said, holding out some more money, “Zese are...quite delish.”

Dibbler paused, taking the money and handing the raptor another sausage in a bun. Emile gobbled it down, but then paused, sensing something in the air.

That's when the Teacher's Guild exploded.

“Excuse-moi! It seems there is danger!” Emile said, and ran forward, making sure his hat was on straight.

The Patrician's Palace

The palace was hit by some strange force, and guards were running around, trying to find out what happened. Had Amestries attacked them?

Havelock Veterni sighed, shuffling some paperwork. There was a large hole to his right. Had it been ten more feet to the left...

“Well, this is bothersome,” he sighed, standing up and moving to his left. He paused, then tapped a few stones. The wall shifted, and he stepped into it, the wall shifting back into place...

Teacher's Guild Ruins

As stated earlier, Ankh-Morpork was under attack. A Guild had been destroyed.

A pie flew through the air, smashing into one of the Level 2 Akuma's face. It was simply a pie, however. Nothing fancy.

Several clowns lined up, all holding pies, preparing to do comedic battle for a very serious situation.

Ankh-Morpork was a very weird place.

Though actual people ready to fight were forming. Dwarves were grabbing axes, trolls getting their clubs, elves their bows, humans whatever seemed heavy enough that could do some damage...

Magic would crackle through the air, and a bolt of magical lightning shot down at Skin.

“Halt! I must insist zat you stop zis,” a voice with an accent said.

Emile was rather new to this, but he had adopted the wizards as a sort of new pack. And the wizards were part of the city. Due to that, Emile considered himself as part of the city.

So, in short, a velicoraptor in a pointed hat and staff was challenging a demon to a fight.

I believe that even for the SRB, this is a first.

KxS had opened her eyes when she appeared here. She slightly stumbled when she landed. She also tried to ignore the fact that she was hungry in order to seem more...sophisticated, or something like that.

She stayed quiet, sort of blushing, her big blue eyes hinting her innocence. The werewolf put her hands behind her back and just waited for her time to say something.

Outside the Green Dragon Inn

Shimera winced as she saw Cess hit the wall. "You OK?!" she inquired him.

GRAPPLING HOOK!

Central: Ansem's House-

Because CR is a BUM Melanie had been sleeping, bundled in her warm blankets and every now and then giving off a little noise signaling that she was still asleep. She looked positively adorable like that, similar to a small child who just did not want to wake up.

Well she WAS a small child. Much too young for any of the trouble that lie ahead.

Eventually Melanie stirred, looking a bit groggy and rubbing her eyes. She looked around for a bit and spotted Galv. She then gave a little gasp, hopping out of bed and pulling the sheet along as well. If this was anything like home she had a lot to do before they could even get going.

"Good morning" she said politely, folding her sheets and placing then neatly at the foot of the bed. "Would you like something to eat?"

Ankh-Morpork-

Like Melanie, Crystal had been sleeping all this time as well, along with the adorable four year old Hammah. It had been quite awhile since she had rested so she enjoyed every second of it-unaware of Sama's lack of rest.

Eventually she stirred, blinking the sleep from her eyes and looking at the cute child near her.

"Good morning sweetie" she said kindly, patting the boy's head and looking up to see Sama and Spork already talking.

"Oh good morning, sorry for sleeping in"

I can't see what you're imagining
-Central: Ansem's House-

“Oh, uh, morning!” Galv said, blushing, trying to pretend he hadn't woken up four days a few minutes ago and had been watching her sleep. He didn't want to be a creeper...Even if they were close in age.

“And breakfast sounds good! But, uhhh...let me cook you something!” Galv said. Wandering around meant he had to cook his own meals...Usually it was frying things...Still, he wanted to try and impress the girl! Girls liked fried bacon and eggs, right?

-Hyrule Outskirts-

“Who are you?” Roxas demanded. The Oblivion Keyblade appeared in his hand, pointed towards Master Xehanort.

“Suspicious...Very good,” Master Xehanort said, clapping, “Shows you have a level head. Now...I wish to help you...”

“...Help? How?” Namine wondered. She could feel the dark magic in Master Xehanort...But that didn't mean he was necessarily evil. There was that man named DiZ she had met before...

“You need control. Darkness must be contained, watched over. It is a difficult thing to do, especially one so young,” Master Xehanort said, “Look at this girl here...Her name is Kxs. She has a curse. But with my help, she will control it...I offer the same thing to you.”

“And what's the catch?” Roxas wondered.

“Smart boy,” Xehanort smiled, “I will require your help on a number of tasks. Do not worry, I will not require you to be a monster. After all, if I needed that, I wouldn't help you control your power...”

Roxas paused, then glanced to Namine.

“Do you think we can trust him?” Roxas asked the blonde haired half-elf.

“...I don't know. I mean...I know dark doesn't always mean evil...There's a man I met, called himself DiZ...” the girl answered.

“DiZ?” Xehanort asked, “Oh? He's an old friend of mine.” Technically kinda true.

“...Fine then,” Roxas said, “I'll help...”

Master Xehanort smiled, snapping his fingers. He, Kxs, Roxas, and Namine disappeared into a portal of darkness...

-Ankh-Morpork-

Spork Residence

Hammah smiled when Crystal patted his head, and followed after her. He had taken a shine to the girl.

“It's fine,” Spork said, “You're probably going to need the sleep...It seems Amestries has surrounded Ankh-Morpork in the night...And here's some breakfast.”

He handed Crystal some bread and milk, “Sorry it's not much...”

Outside Green Dragon Inn

“Ahhh...yah...I'm okay...” Cess muttered, “It's nothing, especially compared to that lightning last night.”

He smiled towards Shimera, then turned to Sam.

“Sorry, I couldn't trace the magic...

Ankh-Morpork Cafe

Xehanort, Kxs, Roxas, and Namine appeared in an alleyway, near a cafe. He was intending to get his new...allies, breakfast. After all, they would need to have food in order to fight.

However, people were running around, after the attack on the Teacher's Guild, and people were thinking Amestries was attacking them...

“Hmmm...Seems like a bit of chaos happening here...” Xehanort frowned, “Perhaps we should go elsewhere...”

-Outside Ankh-Morpork-

“Dammit!” Vimes yelled, after the explosion was heard, “Are you already attacking us?!”

Vimes glared at Mustang, then turned to Carrot, “Carrot! Get there, gather the rest of the Watch and find out what's happening!”

“Sir, yes sir!” Carrot saluted, then began running back to Ankh-Morpork...

Ankh-Morpok: What Used To Be The Teacher's Guild

A Raptor Wizard.

Now THIS took the cake. Well... It better not have, because Skin would then skin you alive. The cake was HIS, dammit!

Of course, he expected this. Skin was a muscle man, but he wasn't completely retarded. He fully expected enemies to start showing up as soon as he started the attack. But having a raptor wizard talk to him? And said raptor wizard challenging him?

...

This was probably the funniest thing he had ever seen. Except... Wait, did that thing think he was WEAK? Was that why it came forward? Yes, it HAD to be! No one could face him unless they thought themselves to be more powerful! That was UNACCEPTABLE!

With a roar of rage, Skin sent a massive bolt of lightning at Emile!

"YOU THINK I AM WEAK??? THAT IS UNFORGIVABLE!!!"

... Yeah, he didn't have all his bolts in one basket.

[---]

While Skin faced off against Emile, the demons he let loose raced through the streets on a path of slaughter. They paid no attention to what or whom they were killing, just that they were. Each took a different path, and each left a bloody trail.

A demon met with one of the members of the City Watch, a guard on duty. The man didn't even stand a chance as the unstoppable human-like beast bore down on him, rended his armor open and sunk its massive teeth into the man's neck, snapping it and killing him almost instantly.

Another of these humanoid "things" rampaged through a household, slaughtering everything that came in its path before bursting straight out of a wall and heading for the next target...

And a pair of these beasts headed down one of the roads, leaving bloody trails as they sped along, bearing down on four people that suddenly appeared out of nowhere in a dark alleyway.

The first one made a massive leap, trying to bowl Xehanort right over!

Now becomes the the past in an instant — and everyone will eventually die! Destiny triumphs over human knowledge and goes mad! That is the way of things! I spit upon this frail, crazed, world! I spit upon the Second Law of Thermodynamics!
~ Desty Nova, Karmatron Theory

Let them Label me! Let them swear and curse at me as I tug humanity like a bucking bull into the darkness of the unknown, revealing its secrets to the sane and driving them MAD! In ages long past, I shall be looked upon as a tyrant and a savior! As a savant and as a fool! My work shall advance humanity long past its time, throw it into the unknown future and force it to grow strong or FALL! Years from now, when I will inevitably be removed, my work shall continue to progress, because these things cannot be denied! Governments will publicly criticize my work, but privately conduct research that advances it! I shall imprint myself into the annals of history, among the stars that shine as brightly as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Dmitri Mendeleev, Nikola Tesla, and countless others! My work will shine as brightly as any star, and I AM ITS CREATOR!!!
