I'll bite your legs off!

Crash site Steiner hesitated, in thought. He pondered and pondered. He didn't know where Garnet would go, and even if he did, he wasn't sure if letting Bradley know would be a good idea. He finally spoke. "I...very well. I do not know where the princess would be." it was true. He would presume at the library...if the library wasn't burning down. In what many would claim is a rare moment of general level-headedness for him, he made another sweeping bow to Bradley. "Good day, your excellency." he said, and turned towards the rest of his company, intent on leaving Bradley behind so he could hopefully search for Garnet along with his companions without raising suspicion or getting tied to Amestris' army. Then, he saw that Sora was being attacked! He drew his sword, charging towards them. "What's all THIS then?!" he demanded, coming to Sora's side. [...] “You’ve saved my life. I’ll admit I cannot fully trust your Order, but I have no doubt in your intentions. We can speak of this later, though… I have to find her…” Didymus nodded, raising an eyebrow when Garnet spoke of trust. ""Your" intentions, you say to me, lady? Um, I mean, uh, Dagger?" he gave a small, somewhat embarrassed grin, but then raised an eyebrow. ""Your" plural? Or singular? Referring to the Order? Or me? And on the subject of our disagreements, you know I would say I simply played a part in protecting you-the overall responsibility for the deed does not belong to me. Nonetheless, I do appreciate the gratitude...and we shall have to discuss these things sometime. What you think of Galdwin and the Order, what I think of Alexandria...what that...thing... said...we must talk, yes, but yes, later. If you are insistent on investigating the crash site despite the danger, then yes...let us go." |

[Crash Site] As Steiner walked away, Bradley turned and seemed to vanish. He had business to attend to. Vivi, meanwhile, ran up behind Sora and tried to help him by casting a fireball! “A-Are you okay?” […] As Boco rode towards the downed airship, Dagger shook her head. “I cannot trust your order, but I feel I can trust you. My powers make me a danger to your nation, and I have no doubt that there are those within your order who view me as equally as dangerous as my mother, if not more-so.” She shook her head. They were getting closer. “For now, though, we have to find her… until then, everything else can wait…” |

Crash Site Didymus hesitated. "You mistrust my Order, and yet you trust me? If I may ask...why? Do you think I would betray it?" He took a deep breath. "Dagger...I will be frank. I, even, believe that the POTENTIAL threat you pose, if indeed you get your summons, is even greater than that of your mother. As for the ACTUAL threat you pose...well, again, the Order believed it right to protect you, even if only to keep you out of Amestis' hands...out of...Brahne's hands...and was it you who first wanted a Paladin? Or did you and your tutor simply write to Galdwin? I was not told all the details of the operation. Anyway..." He took another breath. "Lady, I pray that if you indeed get your summons, you shall not abuse them. Yes, the threat you could pose is enormous...but still, you seem to want peace. You looked on at the Enclave with wonder and curiousity, not contempt or hostility. Are you a risk? Yes. I do not know the designs of your heart and mind and soul...although I do believe that I've been given a window into few others have...I think I see much I do not agree with...and much that I do. Even if your summons were abused...we...we would stand against them then. But for now, know this: I am well aware of the threat you may pose to Galdwin. It is a threat I hope is never realized, and even with that knowledge, I...well, believe it is my ordained task to defend you and aid you in this hour..." Boco was probably coming up on the site now, considering how much Didymus had just said. Or they were further away than he thought. |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Central City: Crash Site- “Stole?!” Sora wondered, confused, “I didn't steal this! It chose me...” He held the Keyblade up, glaring at the ones who were attacking them. Then smiled. “Steiner, Vivi...Wait,” Sora said, then held out the Keyblade, then threw it, the blade spinning forward, “Catch it if you can!” Sora then turned back to his allies, “Run! Don't worry!” Sora turned and made a break for it, chasing after Kairi for now. Xehanort frowned. What was Sora doing? -Woods- “Something very dark is here...” Galv answered, narrowing his eyes, “Who's there?” -Hyrule Castle- “We are looking for a while to try and return my friend to normal...” Namine said, curtsying again. “I had hoped the elves may know of some sort of magic, or a clue, at least.” |

Central City: Crash Site "Oh! Oh! I got it!" Shimera yelled, thinking this was a game. She ran toward the keyblade, about to catch it... Forest KxS just sat there, waiting for someone to come out of the forest. |

Central City: Crash Site "Pfft. Some guardian." Fefnir muttered. "Levithan, retrieve it." Levithan darted forward and reached out simultaneously with Shimera to get the blade. Forest A raspy voice called out; Nihlus's voice. "Come hither...have a drink of tea if you mean no harm." He sat there on the stump, sipping the tea he made. In front of him was a small fire and above it was a pot of more tea brewing. His pack lay to one side of the stump, his staff leaning against the tree in arm's reach. |

Central City: Crash Site Shimera kept going for the keyblade. There was sort of a problem...she still thought this was a game. And she likes to win games. She started to float toward the keyblade, going faster than she was running. Forest KxS could smell the tea...and she felt more relaxed. She liked the smell of tea. "I dunno 'bout y'all, but I like the smell of the tea he made..." she commented. |

-Central City: Crash Site- Sora grinned, and just as someone was about to grab the Keyblade...it disappeared in a flash of light, reappearing in Sora's hands. Only for the wielder to run into another rock golem, who grabbed him, throwing him back. “Ahhh!” Sora yelled, grabbing his right shoulder. That had hurt... Xehanort chuckled again, but he glanced to Bradley. What would that monster do? -Woods- “Tea?” Garet said, “Ohhhh, do you have any food?” He was hungry. Galv, meanwhile, kept his sword out, speaking quietly. “This man is evil. He's dark. We can not trust me,” the Paladin said, eyes wide. Electricity sparked up and down his sword. |

[Crash Site] Bradley narrowed his eye. He did not like this situation at all. If he attacked them now… his secret could be out. That would be a major problem… unless, of course, they all died. He paused, looking to Xehanort. The man… he was different. “En grade!” Bradley jumped forward, slashing at Xehanort! […] Vivi, meanwhile, paused when Sora told him too and looked to the older boy with confusion… Vivi was not used to this kind of stuff. […] “Whoa, what’s going on?” Winry noticed the flames, the smoke and the soldiers running and yelling to one another. She tapped Eva on the shoulder. “Let’s head that way!” […] Garnet found some comfort in Didymus’ words, though it also made her worry. Life, as always, was complicated… even more-so for a teenage queen. “I have no intention to abuse my summons… my biggest worry, however, is that my view of what would be ‘abuse’ and what Galdwin might consider as ‘abusive’ would differ.” That was, in all truth, the root of Garnet’s fear. She stopped talking as they arrived at the crash site, now in full view of the others! |

Central City-Crash Site Levithan tripped as the key disappeared and smack the ground, slightly dazed. Fefnir frowned. "We've been fooled!" He shouted needlessly. "Silas, floor that miserable kid!" Silas ran forward, getting his clubs ready to bash Sora. Forest Nihlus nodded to Garret's request and KxS's comment. As if out of nowhere, a cup appeared in his free hand. He drew the pot of tea and poured some of the steaming liquid into the cup, offering it to KxS. "Good evening, young souls. I take it you are all traveling as well?" He inquired. He pulled his pack open and revealed a loaf of bread. "Of course, I hope you aren't thuggish people that would try to take advantage of me..." He commented in a somewhat questionable tone. "But if you want to rest for awhile, I have some more food and there's always some tea brewing..." Nihlus didn't seem to either hear or care what Galv said.. |

Central City: Crash Site "What the...?" Shimera asked, landing. "Where'd it go?" She looked around, oblivious to what happened. Forest KxS was being drawn to the smell of tea. She was hungry as well. "Oh, how could you tell if someone was evil to the core? It smells like he makes good tea..." she said, taking a sip. She smiled, relaxing a bit. "This is good." |

Central City Crash site Didymus nodded. "Well, we should probably discuss sometime what then you do mean by "abuse", but-oh wow..." he said, looking out over the plaza. Terrible as it was, the battles going before them, the large, burning airship in the background...it was quite a sight. However, he looked around. There were a few people he thought he recognized-two, at least. The first was a knight he thought he saw at Garnet's side when he had visited Alexandria during her birthday-he had only seen both Garnet and Steiner from a distance, a slight one at least (despite the fact his Elder Brother had encouraged him to go say hello), the knight still looked somewhat familiar. Then...Bradley. "Dagger..." he said. "...it's Bradley." he warned. Steiner was confused by what was going on, but he thought he heard something else...chocobo steps? He turned around. "PRINCESS!!!" he shouted, springing towards the chocobo. "Oh dear..." Didymus said. |

[Central City] Garnet would have enjoyed that conversation. She did want to see what would constitute an ‘abuse’ of powers in Galdwin’s opinion. Not that she necessarily had any plans, or would change plans if she had them based merely on what another nation thought. That would all have to wait. As they drew nearer, Garnet saw the burning wreckage. By now, she could see several of Alexandria’s female soldiers dead on and around the ship. A sinking feeling hit her gut and she wondered if her mother would be among the dead. "PRINCESS!!!" She heard Steiner and recognized his voice instantly, but she did not look at him or acknowledge him. She was no longer paying attention to Didymus, either. “… MOTHER!” Garnet jumped from the chocobo and charged towards the wreckage in a mad dash! |

Central City Didymus gasped as Garnet charged forward. He slid off the chocobo and sprinted after her. Steiner in front of her, Didymus behind her... Steiner eventually "met" her, and tried to grab her. "Princess, calm down! Your mother is safe! You're safe! That's all that matters!" Didymus was not particularly pleased by what he was seeing. Could he trust this Alexandrian knight? For his part, Steiner (if he had indeed caught Garnet) regarded Didymus warily. "Who are you?" he asked. "I am the lady's escort." Didymus replied. "Princess, who he?" Steiner asked. He wanted to hear Garnet speak, perhaps give her own opinion, to try to gauge if she had indeed been brainwashed. Also, he tried to hide her from Bradley's sight, even though the chocobo... Didymus quickly turned towards Boco. "Uh, Boco? Hide!" he said. He wasn't sure just how intelligent chocobos were, (and then, gold chocobos, which were probably in a different class altogether), but he couldn't let Garnet out of his sight, so he couldn't hide Boco himself. Bradley was fighting someone else...but Didmyus' concern was on getting Garnet OUT of there, ASAP. |
