Underground The forest...KxS didn't mind the forest. She always ended up in one, so she seemed to find the woods as a sort of home. She stayed silent all this time...she felt like the little wart that was pretty much unneeded. She didn't speak a word, she didn't help fight...and she didn't help with anything at all. I should have stayed behind... she thought. |

The Red Rose Didymus was certainly impressed as the chocobo and its rider burst out onto the deck. A rather dramatic entrance. He wasted little time, quickly scooping up his pack and overcloak (which had somehow remaind more or less intact despite the battle now raging, and hopped on the chocobo, holding tight, at which point I would think that it hopped off and took flight. Beatrix actually paused. Beat her? Brahne had just ordered her to beat her daughter if nesessary. In fact...was that blood on Garnet's face? This couldn't be the same woman. "One of you!" she called to the Waltzs/ "Put out these fires! Then both of you, after them!" she cried. But the Waltzs were rather unpredictable, the flames were spreading, getting even closer to her soldiers incapacitated on the deck... ...what had happened? Maybe that Paladin was doing a greater service to Alexandria than she was... ...no. She could not allow those thoughts. Instead, she focused on trying to get her soldiers out of harm's way. It seemed that Garnet was beyond her grasp now. For his part, as he rode, Didymus held up his sword, which shone forth with another light... ...he was hoping for a sort of "no-magic" zone near or around them, possibly incapacitating the black waltzes, possibly not, but it was likely that they would give chase...after a silent prayer in that regard and more, he sheathed his blade, and held tight. This could get bumpy. Central City Library Steiner simply nodded, hurrying along. Even he understood the value of haste in their situation. Tucker residence Kimblee looked over the scene, remaining silent. Whoever had done this was good, even had his compliments. He certainly knew how to get the job done. Of course, Tucker was a weakling; he deserved this fate, he thought. Kimblee looked over to one of the men guarding the scene. "Soldier, do we have any leads on who did this, or where he went? ...didn't this man have a daughter...?" he asked. Hyrule Castle Zelda was scared, yes, but when Gannondorf asked her to yield, her eyes narrowed. "No." she simply said. Her...emotions...were all tangible in her voice, but it was firm. |

Underground "I vote the forest! At least there's water there!" Crystal stated. She didn't like it at all underground....She would have been a horrible Earthbender. "We can also find a place to stay up there...I don't think I can handle camping out down here..." |

[Underground/Forest] Sama nodded. Everyone seemed to agree with the forest idea, so he put his hands on the ceiling and the earth opened, giving them a path into the forest. He jumped out and looked around, motioning for the others to stay put for a moment. When he was convinced there was no danger around, he looked down to them. “Okay, we’re clear!” [Central City Streets] Mustang hesitated, and then approached Armstrong. “If you can’t find them, don’t waste your time. There’s more pressing matters at hand. Set up roadblocks and try to stop the thieves from the library from leaving.” He paused. “And watch your back, Major. Someone killed one of us already.” [Outside Library] With everyone presumably in the car, Zidane started the engine and took off down the road. Whether or not they were found by any from the Amestris military would be a matter of luck. [Tucker Residence] One of the soldiers saluted Kimblee. He did not know Kimblee’s reputation, and did not care. The guy was an officer and an alchemist and that was enough for him. “Sir, there are no leads we could find… but we found… something, in the basement.” The soldier looked a bit ill as he said it. [Hyrule Castle] Ganondorf stepped back, avoiding the keyblades as they swiped at him. Every time Roxas slashed, Ganondorf moved his body out of the way but did not retaliate at the boy. “It is you who underestimates me. Even if I stopped and allowed you to strike me…” Ganondorf did not dodge the next strike. Roxas’ Keyblade cut a swatch across his face and the Dark King stumbled back; however as he rose back up to full height, there was no blood and no mark from the impact. “It takes a… special sword… to defeat me, boy… and I already know who wields it.” Ganondorf laughed once more, and looked to Zelda. “What will you do, your highness? Your guards and this boy will fail. I will simply keep killing people until you submit your crown to me… or until you are Princess over a land of corpses.” ((Link will show up soon. :3)) [The Red Rose] The Golden Chocobo jumped off the edge of the Red Rose and took flight, fluttering its wings and carrying the two as far as it could away from the ship. Unfortunately, the Waltzs gave chase! No. 2 was throwing fireballs, while No. 3 was shooting lightning bolts. They had not yet hit them, but the two were gaining on them. Garnet maneuvered the Chocobo, trying to avoid the blasts. She flew beneath the battleship, trying to find some cover, but the beasts gave chase still. “Propeller!” Garnet gasped. Ahead of them was the ship’s propelled; and just like on a ship of the sea, it was gigantic and spinning sharply. She clenched her eyes and the Chocobo moved down, avoiding the blades. Black Waltz No. 2 had thrown a fireball. It struck the propeller. The propelled exploded! Sending giant, flaming shards of razor sharp metal flying in every direction! One of them embedded in the chest of Waltz No. 2, and then… The ship started to burn and fall… |

Central City Tucker residence Kimblee raised an eyebrow. "Alright..." he said. "...let's have a look." He proceeded down the stairs to the basement. Streets Steiner was impressed. Having lived in Alexandria his whole life, he had never actually been in a car before. An airship (something Amestris hadn't developed), plenty of times. But not a car. Still, he felt the need to give backseat directions as they drove. "Go left! Watch out! Slow down! Go right!" He was TRYING to help... (You know, I have to try to make Steiner something besides a useless loudmouth. I really don't hate him. XD) Hyrule Castle Zelda stiffened. Gannondorf referred to a magic sword that Link wielded...and as Gannondorf stood here before her (despite Link allegedly killing him), she wondered if even that could subdue him. "I know you can be beaten in ways besides that..." she said. At least, she HOPED. Zelda was still scared...but she had to try. She clapped her hands, forming another ball of energy...concentrating... Amestris skies Didymus clung tightly. Apart from praying, perhaps attempting to get some protection from magic, and hanging on, there wasn't much he could really do, it seemed. However, he was somewhat...amused...when Black Waltz #2 was impaled-as a result of its own actions. Garnet may have heard him let out an audible "Hmmm." when that happened. But the Red Rose was clearly not in good condition. The ship was going to crash. |

Forest Crystal was happy to get out from underground and took a nice deep breath when she was. Almost instantly she spoted a stream a short distance away, and made her way over sitting on it's edge. Carefully she pulled off her shoes and dropped her legs into the water, swinging them idally, while also gathering water to put in her pouches. "So are we staying here until things cool down?" She asked, twisting a stream of water around her fingers. She then touched it in her arm where a bruise was forming from the fight. She focused for a moment and the water glowed, and a few moments later the spot was gone. Central City Streets Molly and Winry had been driving for a long time now. A VERY long time now. Both girls had come across an old broken down car on their way to the city (both practicially died with happiness at the thought of fixing it up) and had rigged it up with the help of Molly's scooter's engine, a few spare parts, and the minds of two mechanical geniuses. Now they had a MUCH bigger mode of transportation and a way to get to Central at double the speed. Molly's scooter sat in the backseat, bouncing along as well. They were here to try and find Ed and Al, two of Winry's closest friends. While they weren't exactly sure if they were here it was a good place to start... "It looks like a tornado just came though here" Molly noted, as they drove past the damage done by the battle not too long ago... |

[Central City] Tucker Residence In the basement was a horrible sight. A strange creature that resembled a giant dog, but with certain human features, was slumped against the wall. It was one of Tucker’s experiments, and someone had destroyed it just as they had Tucker. Two of the soldiers shivered as they let Kimblee by. “Man… I’m so glad we’ve got an alchemist here now… I didn’t know how much longer I could take down in that basement.” The two walked off, to get some coffee or do other generic character things, but someone had different plans. ‘An alchemist? Another one? How fortunate. To cleanse two in one night…’ Someone else was in the house. … It was Scar. (XD Like anyone is surprised) Streets A Zidane was starting to get irritated by Miss. Daisy’s directions. “I KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A CAR!” Zidane yelled; and then swerved quickly to avoid running over one of the soldiers in their path who had been shooting at them. “Uhh… I feel sick…” Vivi muttered. Zidane was driving like a madman. (Maybe later Steiner can fight a dragon and be victorious? That’d make him cooler.) Streets B As they sped along, Winry was looking around the city with a frown on her face. There was a lot of destruction, and soldiers were running in every direction. She wondered if Galdwin had invaded, or if there was some kind of coup d'état going on. She was also very worried about Ed and Al. “This place… I haven’t been to Central in years, but… it’s hard to imagine it looking so bad.” Winry gasped aloud. There was fire in the distance, from the burning library, and smoke from Kimblee’s battle still billowing. “Those two had better be okay…” [Forest] When everyone was out of the hole, Sama closed it with a bit of Earthbending. He did not know if anyone from Amestris could follow them… he had done his best to insure that would not happen. Still, he felt uneasy. "So are we staying here until things cool down?" Sama looked over to his friend and thought about the question for a moment. The forest was very close to Central, and he worried that staying there would eventually mean another confrontation with the military. Then again, security was sure to be heightened throughout the countryside after tonight. “We need to get across the boarder… maybe go to Galdwin, or Hyrule. Anywhere that the Amestrisians won’t be able to get to use easily…” Sama reasoned. “… We probably shouldn’t stay here TOO long, but if anyone needs to rest, or eat something, we should have a little time.” Sama wasn’t sure if leaving would be the right decision, but his gut was telling him to get as far from Central as possible, as soon as possible. He then looked to Garet. “I know you have a lot of questions… I can try to answer them now, if you want.” [Hyrule Castle] Ganondorf let out another of his obnoxious laughs. Zelda amused him so. “Zelda, you amuse me so.” See. What did I just say? “Perhaps I will spare your life after all… you can work as a Jester!” Ganondorf snapped his fingers and suddenly black smoke sprang up from the floor in five spots. The smoke transformed into skeleton warriors who carried swords and shields] Stalfos. Some of Ganon’s black magic minions. “Slaughter everyone in this room… aside from Zelda and myself.” Ganondorf commanded. [Amestris Skies] The Red Rose was falling. The majestic ship that had served as a symbol of Alexandria’s royal family for fifty years was now a giant fireball, on a collision course with Central City! Surely enough, it crashed. Queen Brahne, Beatrix and some of the guards were carried to safety thanks to Black Waltz No. 3’s teleportation spells. Many other guards were not as lucky. The ship crashed right into the fancy part of town, where many mansion’s stood. The Gold Chocobo fluttered, and eventually, was flying over Central. Garnet hastily climbed over Didymus (probably making him very uncomfortable) and dug something out of the pack he carried. The map she had been given in Galdwin. She looked it over, and then returned to piloting the Chocobo. They soon landed… just outside of the burning-library. “N-No…” Garnet’s voice was in dire distress. She had just been physically assaulted by her mother, had possible watched her mother die in a shipwreck (Brahne was alive, but Garnet did not know that for certain) and now, the library where the book she needed resided was burning. Not her day. |

Central City Tucker residence Kimblee simply admired the handiwork. "Hmm...Tucker...was smarter than most people thought, it seems." he said. "A chimera...? No wonder his funding wasn't cut." He shrugged. "Well, what did Mustang expect ME to do, anyway? I've seen what I need to, I suppose..." he turned to leave the residence as well. Streets "YOU'RE CERTAINLY NOT ACTING LIKE IT!!!" Steiner shouted back. He looked to Vivi. "Hold out, Master Vivi! We'll get through this!" How, exactly, he was unsure. (I think he stabbed the worm-creature in the Gargan Roo and made it run away...but yeah, either way. XD) Outside library Didymus was rather...tense from recent events himself. He had just dueled Alexandria's general to a standstill, been confronted by a horribly twisted national leader, hopped on a chocobo and rode it into the heart of what looked like a very busy ENEMY city. Elder Orlandu's talk echoed in his mind: Do you know the exception? The time when even an untrained man can defeat a veteran warrior?" Cid asked with a grin. "When he has to. This was a sparring match, there was no real danger, and the outcome made no real difference. Has this been a real fight, had Garnet's life been on the line, I believe you would have won." Even Garnet's own words: "That's quite alright, Sir Knight... I'm sure that when it truly matters, you'll be the winner." She gave him another smile. He had kept faith, and he had won. Or at least, endured. And Garnet was alright. They had gotten away safely enough. Enough of a victory. He had not doubted he'd ultimately be alright himself, but still, his adrenaline was pumping, and he was one of the few, now who had stood against Beatrix and not been vanquished. Oh, and Garnet's actions had made him uncomfortable. And he was still in his white robe. He quickly pulled on his overcloak, disguising himself again. Of course, they were still in front of the burning library, with a golden chocobo. And...was that blood on Garnet's face. "Dagger!" he cried, as Garnet's depression took hold of her. "We have to get out of here! Hide somewhere! We don't want to be around when they come looking. In fact...this chocobo was very helpful, but what should we do with it? It kind of makes us stand out..." He wanted, even longed, to comfort her (at least try) concerning all that had happened, but first things first. "Come on, please!" he urged her, gesturing towards a nearby alleyway/street. If the book they sought was in that library, then he had half a mind to rush into it...but no. That still seemed like a bad idea. They couldn't have survived this far just for the journey to be a complete waste. Something good would come of it, and for now, they had to focus on not getting caught. Hyrule Castle Zelda's look of fear had been replaced by one of determination. With a shout, she unleashed a beam of magical energy, firing it around the room, between her guards and at some of the stalfos. Others were engaged by the braver of Zelda's guards. |

-Forest- “I have to stay in the area, so if you are all going to go elsewhere, we'll have to part paths here. I need to gather more data on Amestries as it is,” Galv said, leaning against a tree, “For my Order. But I thank you for all the help so far...” “Even if they did blow my cover...Now I know for a fact there are those in Central and the rest of Amestries that might rise up...” Galv thought to himself. Garet seemed...oddly thoughtful, thinking. “Okay...First off, what have you guys been doing? I was thinking it was Psynergy, but I never see any Psynergy rings around anymore. I mean, what you guys, and those other ones, the...other alchemists, that's a lot like what my friends and I can do. But it's not. What is it?” Garet wondered. -Central City- Car “Oh, I've never been in a car before! This is exciting!” Kairi smiled from his seat, despite the oddball maneuvering. She seemed to enjoy it anyways. “Where are we going anyways?” Sora wondered, looking out the back, hoping they could avoid more fighting... Streets “The Keybearer is near...I can...sense it...” Xehanort smiled, “But we must be careful...It seems the alchemists and army are mobilized for a reason. We can not be too hasty here.” He stepped into the streets, looking around. “Come...let's go...” he said, and started down the street. “Well, you heard the guy,” Cess shrugged, and followed after the old elf. -Hyrule Castle- As the skeleton soldiers appeared, Roxas growled, the blackness moving up his arms more, and he slashed at them with his Keyblades, moving quickly and attacking them wildly, determined to protect Namine. He wouldn't do much to help the guards though...And might accidentally hurt them as well if they got to close to where he was fighting... |

Forest Crystal sighed and looked to Sama, continuing to kick her legs boredly in the water "Sounds like a plan" she decided, falling back and staring up at the sky. It was a rather nice day, no signs of trouble or worry. As much as she wanted to tell Sama they couldn't continue to keep running, she didn't. After all he was doing it for them. If he was alone he probably would have fought to the death....Hopefully it wouldn't get that far. The only reason he retreated was to keep others safe. "Whatever you wanna do is fine" she added "I trust ya" “I have to stay in the area, so if you are all going to go elsewhere, we'll have to part paths here. I need to gather more data on Amestries as it is, for my Order. But I thank you for all the help so far...” "You sure that's smart alone? Those military freaks are probably REALLY mad right about now...And they're probably regrouping as we speak." “Okay...First off, what have you guys been doing? I was thinking it was Psynergy, but I never see any Psynergy rings around anymore. I mean, what you guys, and those other ones, the...other alchemists, that's a lot like what my friends and I can do. But it's not. What is it?” Melanie raised a brow, sitting up. "You've never heard of bending?" Central-Streets Molly frowned, she had never been to Central but had heard many things about it. It was a bustling city, inhabited by the military and many many others....It was a hotspot for education and information, sporting a very impressive library and dozens of archives covering history from the beginning of time.... .....It certainly looked different than she had imagined.... "What do you think happened here?" The girl said, stopping the car a short distance from the burning library...The air was hot and the smell of smoke wafted their direction. |

((CH; do NOT make a post that is nothing but a "note". The only time this is acceptable is if you intend to go back and edit a RP post in later... which clearly you did not, since you've posted again since then.)) [Forest] Sama was conflicted, for a number of reasons, but decided that at the moment it was best to focus on staying alive, and getting Garet to Ansem. "I trust ya" He gave a sigh, grateful that anyone from the bending valley could still say those words after what had happened to their homeland. He was going to say something, but two issues arose that seemed to steal his attention. “I have to stay in the area, so if you are all going to go elsewhere, we'll have to part paths here. I need to gather more data on Amestries as it is, for my Order. But I thank you for all the help so far...” "That's insane. The only data you'll gather is a bullet." Sama said bluntly, shaking his head. "... Amestris is on high-alert. After finding out that I'm alive, and whatever else happened in that city tonight, they'll be out in full force... tanks, entire battalions, state alchemists... they'll scrambled everyone. Staying here would only get you captured or killed." He shook his head once more. "Come with us to see Ansem the Wise... he can probably be a greater help to your Order than any data you could gather here." “Okay...First off, what have you guys been doing? I was thinking it was Psynergy, but I never see any Psynergy rings around anymore. I mean, what you guys, and those other ones, the...other alchemists, that's a lot like what my friends and I can do. But it's not. What is it?” Garet's question made the Avatar pause. This guy was certainly not a Firebender... whatever he was, his powers weren't alchemy either. "... To be honest, I have no idea what Psynergy is. If I had to guess, though, I'd say that our bending, your Psynergy and the alchemist used by the soldiers is all connected somehow... maybe it all comes from the same place, and we just access it different... or maybe I'm completely wrong." He shrugged. "Regardless, that's not what is important right now. We Chasers are trying to prevent this war from escalating, and... well, it very well might escalate now. Ansem thinks you can help us, so... I'm asking you to come with us." [Central City] Streets Winry felt a sick knot tie in her stomach. Somehow, her luck always turned rotten when this city was involved. Her parents were drafted here, and eventually sent off to their deaths... her best friends had come here and abandoned her... and on her last visit to the city, a deranged maniac who wore women's clothing had kidnapped her and tried to kill her. Now, though, as she watched the library burning and smelt the smoke, she shuddered. "I don't know... it looks like a war zone..." She paled. "Oh no, you don't think... someone invaded us?" Car Zidane did not have the slightest clue on where they should go next. The big guy in armor wanted to find the Princess he had the hots for, Vivi probably just wanted to go home, and Kairi seemed to just be enjoying the ride. "No idea!" He called to Sora with a grin. "I have some friends who can help us get out of the country... but then, I don't know where you guys want to go! I'm still all for finding Princess Hottypants and collecting the reward." The car continued to drive... and then it passed something Steiner would likely be interested in. The crashed Red Rose. Tucker Mansion As Kimblee started to leave, he might have noticed that the soldiers who originally let him in were not at their posts... ... he also probably noticed the blood trail. It was a big one. Library Ruins As the flames burnt away her hope, Garnet felt like losing it. She had abandoned her home, her mother and her country to find an old book under the hope it would help her bring an end to the war. Now, her hope of finding that book was gone. Still, she was stronger than she might seem at first glance. Not a single tear fell from her eyes, instead she just closed them and thought. They were in a bad situation... strangers, in the middle of Central. An airship just crashed, and it seemed the library was burnt down. The military would be in a panic right now, and her mother was likely dead. Garnet took a deep breath, and then put a hand on her bleeding forehead. When she muttered the word 'cure', a green light sparkled on her head and when she removed her hand, the injury was gone. "... We'll have to find another way to get information about the Summoners. If the Central library is no good, we could go to Treno... there's supposed to be a worth of information there." She shook her head, and rode the Chocobo to the ally. "... Also, I realize this is stupid of me... but I want to keep Boco with us... he saved me from mother, and..." Garnet's voice trailed off. [Hyrule Castle] Luckily for the guards, they all turned and ran from the skeletons AND Roxas. Zelda was determined, but Ganondorf seemed unfazed by any of it. His Stalfos were being defeated, but he had plenty more where they came from... "... Tell me, boy... what are you?" Ganondorf asked Roxas with a grin. |

Forest KxS sat down on the grass. She wasn't meant to be here. She had to say something. "Um...I don't know exactly what's goin' on and I have no idea why I'm here...I...should I leave?" she asked, unable to make decisions for herself most of the time. Central-Streets Shimera followed the others to where they were to end up. She tried not to float, as she wasn't used to walking. |
