I'll bite your legs off!

Amestris countryside Didymus was going to relax, but something occured to him: they were posing as travelers who had stopped for a meal. If they took the chance to leave too optimistically, the gig may be up; the Amestris troops may just be testing them. On the other hand, refusing to obey the instructions of a soldier in Amestris was NOT the best way to avoid notice. He tried for a happy medium between the two. "Well, we HAD stopped and gotten out some food here-" it was true, even if misleading, "-but if you'd prefer that we just move along, we'll do that. Thank you." With that, he turned to Garnet. "Well, I suppose we can just eat on the move, right? I suppose we should be off." Central City library-rooftop Steiner gasped when he was pulled back, and his eyes widened at Zidane's warning. "Truly? Such a brutal country..." He got up, away from the edge, and fidgeted nervously as Zidane unlocked the skylight. He did NOT like this. Breaking and entering, theft, hiding? ...it seemed...dishonorable...to him. |

-Central City Cafe- “Right...Maybe we should be going then...” the young Paladin muttered, his hand still staying near his sword, “Do you know of a place we can discuss things more...privately?” Garet rubbed the back of his head, looking around mildly confused, “Huh...Lots of people here.” Not knowing they were going soon, Garet reached out his hand, and pulled a chair to him. It was about a foot away, and creaked across the floor, looking as though it moved by itself. He grabbed it and sat down with a sigh. -Central City: Alleyway- Cess paused. Except for the thieves and Sam, all of them stood out like a sore thumb in this place. “Hey, Shimera, I hate to tax you again, but could I make another wish? Maybe get us some inconspicuous clothes?” Cess wondered, turning back to the Star Maiden. “I'll buy you all the food you want after that.” -Central City: Rooftops- “You know, I could just unlock the skylight with my Keyblade...” Sora offered to Zidane, “Just point and click, really.” -Hyrule Castle Town- “Please...We don't mean any trouble,” Namine pleaded to the guards, “I just hoped to find someone who could help my friend...” Roxas shook, pointing his Oblivion Keyblade at Vaati, “Leave, or I'll kill you and take your soul for my energy...” |

Central City Cafe KxS decided to sit with Garet. Really, she had nothing better to do, but she wanted to get to know this boy... "Um...so, what brings you here?" she asked, blushing. Central City: Alleyway Shimera looked toward Cess. "Of course you can! I'm a bit drained, but some food afterward will help!" she answered, smiling. She liked food. |

Central City- Behind Cafe Crystal frowned and looked around. It was dingy and smelled a bit off behind the cafe so it was natural that she wanted to find a better spot. "Come on" Crystal said, motioning for the two boys to follow. "We'll get a room or something. Better place to talk than out in some alleyway..." There was a lot of people who probably didn't like Sama in this city...It was better to find a place for the moment to discuss things privately. |

[Amestris Countryside] Garnet was confused by Didymus action. She had hoped they would just move along the moment the soldier gave them the chance to. After all, the longer they stayed, the more her fear grew. “H-Honey, maybe we should just go…” She stammered, trying to play it off as an ordinary woman out for lunch, but the fear in her voice was evident. Yes, she had experience as an actress, but… … Something was making her very afraid at this moment. She had a horrible feeling, like ice in her veins. “Hold it! What did you say your names were, again?” The soldier asked. [Central City Behind Café] Sama nodded and quickly followed Crystal. An alleyway wasn’t the best place for important conversation; it was too hard to tell who might be listening in. He looked around, and his eyes fell on a small building down the street. It was a non-descript and apparently empty tavern. There was a ‘for sale’ sign on the front window and the door seemed to be boarded up, but still accessible. “Hey, how about that place?” Sama pointed out. “We’d have privacy and be able to plan our next move.” [Central City Library Rooftop] “It’s true, Steiner. They even think you’re against the government in this place and you’re dead.” Zidane nodded. He then rounded to Sora with his mouth agape in awe. “You can unlock any door? … How do you get one of those?” It was clear that the thief did not share Steiner’s ethical quams about what they were doing. |

Amestris countryside Didymus took a glance back at Garnet. She had spoken, he was working on getting them out of here, but she had spoken up too nervously, something in her tone may have let the Amestrisian soldiers know something was up. However, another quick thought occurred. Honey...? He looked slightly flustered for a moment. Looks like that was part of the act now. Fear gripped him as well, or at least concern, but not of the Amestris troops. Rather, of the fact that he did not find the new addition to their cover IDs to be an entirely unwelcome development... However, he couldn't let that distract him. "We didn't give our names...but I'm Didymus." he said. It wasn't that common of a name, true, and its Biblical roots would not be surprising for a Galdwinian, but Amestris was a land comprised of many conquered lands and cultures. All sorts of names appeared in their ranks, many of them also Biblically-rooted. In fact, names that were common in Galdwin were sometimes more or less common in Amestris, or vice versa. As such, Didymus gave his name without attempting to hide it. He gestured at Garnet... "...and this...is Dagger. Yeah, it's not her real name, but...she's an orphan. Not even she knows what her name was, and she wanted a new identity-" Still, misleading, but all technically true. "-so she picked that name herself. Met her a bit ago, when I was taking her to come stay with my family-" Still true. The Order was his family as much as, if not more so, than his biological family was. And he had met her when he was escorting her to the Enclave. "-and we decided we'd do some traveling together." Still true. Anyway, so if you'd like some water, or something, we've got some to spare, and otherwise, if you'd like, we'll be on our way...although this is a nice luncheon spot. But if you wish it...dear...we can leave, if they'll let us..." If they got out of this alright, this new addendum to their personas would be the first issue he'd address. Hyrule Castle Town Vaati regarded his options. He was facing a homunculus who may be able to vanquish him...even if that weren't true, there were guards about, and he had heard that Link was in town...besides, he wasn't supposed to DESTROY the homunculus...just turn him...or get him started down the "right" path...perhaps he had done that. He spoke, shapeshifting into his winged creature form again. "It was a great life, wasn't it...you didn't need order...you found purpose in chaos...by strength you lived...now, what? Has the mighty Chaos been subdued and vanquished not be a wizard or Paladin or even one of those "State Alchemists", but by a maid? ...it's funny. Ha! Ha ha ha!" He laughed, and flew off. "We will meet again..." he said as he flew. Central City Library-rooftop Steiner nodded, with a frown. They were breaking and entering, planning to steal, the country they were in had rather harsh policies (it was sounding like Brahne's recent ravings, but he would NOT say that around that tailed thieving boy), and FINALLY, that theiving boy was being shown a magical item that could unlock anything? ...oh dear. "Princess..." he muttered. "...may you be fairing better than I, wherever you are..." It had been, and was going to continue to be, it seemed, a long few days. |

Central City Behind Café Crystal looked to where Sama noticed, frowning a bit at the state of the old tavern. It looked....Well rundown would be an understatement. But the girl supposed it didn't matter at the time. She gave a nod and followed Sama and Galv to the location, looking around every now and then to make sure they weren't being followed. It was easy enough to get into the old building, a half boarded broken window seemed like a perfect entrance for three adventurous teens looking for a place to discuss their next move. When Crystal entered her nose wrinkled a bit. The whole place smelled of dust and dirt, and no wonder since a good deal of it was covered in the stuff. The water bender ran a hand across the taverns bar and sneezed. but hopped into one of the old chairs none the less. "So whats the plan oh mighty Avatar?" Crystal said, running her fingers in the dust again, making pictures of flowers, hearts, and clouds. She was considerably worried about their situation...Well more his than her own (since the Avatar was sought after like some kind of animal trophy in these parts) but knew if anyone could think of a plan of action it was her best friend. ....Of course that plan was bound to include explosions, chases, and all sorts of other mishaps... She sighed. |

[Central City: Old Tavern] As they broke in, Sama frowned a bit at the state of the tavern. At least it was abandoned and that provided them some cover. When he sat in one of the dust-covered chairs, Sama let out a small sigh. The truth was that, as the Avatar, he was a wanted man. Considered a danger and a fugitive by Amestris, he would easily bring his friends into danger whenever they were around. Even now, they had to hide in a dingy, dirty shack to be safe. "So whats the plan oh mighty Avatar?" Sama paused for a moment and leaned back in his chair. They needed to find the firebender from across the seas, but they also had to be careful… if the Amestris military found them it would be very, very bad. Though… one idea did come to mind. “Well… there is one sure-fire way to find him… but it would be dangerous. I could tap into the Avatar’s spiritual connection with energy… by doing that, I could find him right away… but while in the spirit state, I’d be completely vulnerable to, well, everything… and I’d glow… and that might rouse the suspicions of the men with guns.” [Amestris Countryside] Dagger waited on baited breath, wondering if the soldiers would let them pass. They had been so close… was it all because of her suddenly speaking up? Had she done this? “… Alright. You’re free to go.” The soldier said, with a hint of reluctance in his voice. |

Amestris countryside "Thank you. If indeed you'd like, we'll just be going, then. Come, Dagger. I hope you don't mind eating on the go." With that, he waited for her, and, if she came along, they'd start walking off in the direction of the nearest town. As he walked, he offered up a silent prayer. They had escaped, and he hadn't even had to lie! True, the things he said may have been somewhat misleading, but he had spoken truthfully. When they were out of earshot, he spoke again. "There should be a train that can take us to Central in the town ahead, but we've still got a bit of a walk...that was close. I'm thankful we are blessed with escape from that, even though we continue into greater trials still..." He actually cracked a grin. "...but something about that conversation still concerns me..."dear"." He chuckled, and spoke again. "If I may ask...where did that come from, anyway? And should we add it to our cover story, or was it just a sort of spur-of-the-moment, never-speak-of-it-again thing?" He HAD considered implying they were lovers, but he had wondered as to how effective that would actually be. Besides, he wouldn't want to impose on Garnet. |

Central City: Old Tavern Crystal raised a brow, the idea of Sama going into the spirit state was a risky one. She had actually never seen it done personally, but she knew it wasn't something to take lightly. "Well the guys with guns will just have to get past me then, can't be too hard to fight off a couple of idiots with weapons. Not for an awesome bender like myself" Crystal grinned widely. Crystal didn't mention her worries if by some horrible twist of fate Sama was hurt or worse...While in the state. She wouldn't forgive herself. She just wouldn't let that happen! "And i'm sure we could hide you....Somewhere...." she frowned and thought....There had to be a place! |

-Central City: Old Tavern- “A fire bender? Interesting...” Galv said, “I have electrical powers myself. I understand those are related for your benders, are they not?” He looked around the place, “Well, couldn't we just put you somewhere that would keep the light from shining out? A few good walls should do that.” [b-Central City: Cafe-[/b] “...Where did those other guys though?” Garet wondered, getting up and looking around, “I wanted to thank them for the food!” He sighed, then paused, looking to Kxs. “I'm looking for my friends! My best pal Isaac, Ivan...Mia...” Garet paused, blushing for a second, “Then Jenna, Felix, Sheba, and Piers as well...We kinda got separated when we found this new land.” -Central City: Library Rooftops- “It...kinda chose me,” Sora answered, “From what I know, it's a mystical weapon. Not just anyone can use it.” He then pointed it at the lock, and a beam of light shot from the end and hit it, unlocking the way in for them. “There we go!” he grinned. -Central City: Alleyway- “I wish we all had inconspicuous clothes,” Cess said to Shimera. Once they were better disguised, Cess would step out of the alleyway, in order to find food. -Hyrule Castle Town- Roxas/Chaos breathed deeply, dropping his Keyblades, as they disappeared in a flash of light before they hit the ground. Namine looked to the guards, worried of what they might do to Roxas. |

[Amestris Countryside] The soldier returned to the truck and sighed, casting an eye into the back. Beneath the canopy were several other soldiers, including one very large man with dark skin and a bald head. “Why did we let them go, sir? Didn’t you say you suspected they were spies?” The soldier asked. The bald man nodded. “They are spies, grunt. He claims they just met a few hours ago, but she treated him like they were lovers. They were lying, and given the reports of a Ranger Airship in this area…” The soldier who had spoken with Didymus nodded, but was still confused. “According to Colonel Mustang, people can be strangers and lovers at the same time…” A few of the soldiers laughed. Then the bald man slammed his fist against the floor and they all went silent. “Roy Mustang is a half-baked twit more concerned with the opposite sex than he is protecting his country… but that’s not important. They WERE spies, I am sure of it…” “So… why let them go?” The soldier asked. “Because, you simple fool… there’s a nearby train station. We’ll circle around and take a different route and be there when they arrive. We’ll have additional personnel, and be able to make the papers for catching spies… yes, this will work…” “Yes sir, Brigadier-General Grande!” [Central City: Old Tavern] Sama gave another sigh, but quickly smiled in Crystal’s direction. “Right! Nothing to worry about. I’ll just hide behind the bar in this dump and if anyone DOES come along, I know you can handle ‘em!” He grinned and stood up. “Well, then… one Avatar State coming up!” He moved closer to the bar and crouched down behind it, sitting with his legs crossed. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. All at once, his eyes began to glow bright blue, and a second later, his entire body was glowing. He was also floating into the air. “… Yes…. Yes… I can see him… I can… What!?” Sama recognized the person they were seeking as the person from the cafe earlier, and mentally kicked himself. He had been so close! Then, Sama continued floating… and flew right through the old roof. The tavern was empty because it was condemned as shoddy, and Sama broke the roof with ease. Now there was a floating boy in the sky… glowing. [Central City: Library Rooftop] Zidane grinned and whipped open the door! “Okay, everyone inside… and be quiet!” He yelled at Steiner. |

Central City: Old Tavern Crystal stood from her seat as Sama went into the spirit state right at that moment. Personally she would have tried to pick a safer spot than a abandoned tavern...But spoontanious was more of her friend's style. She kept her eyes on the door as he started to glow, not expecting the boy to suddenly shoot up into the roof and outside. "..........This is bad" Crystal stated, momentarily sheilding herself from the debris that came from the new hole in the roof. In an instant Crystal was rushing out the door, running madly in effort to keep up with Sama. "Oh no no no no no no no!!" As she ran Crystal swung her arms around her, in effort to gather water from any nearby sources she ran by. She had a feeling she was going to need it. She had to keep anyone from attacking him while he was up there....Which was easier said than done. |

-Central City: Old Tavern- “...That, can't be good,” Galv muttered, watching as Sama floated through the roof, “Maybe we should have used rope to secure him as well...Does he usually float that high?” He had no idea how to get him down. After all, he used electricity with his Paladin powers. Short of shooting him down, that was useless. As Crystal ran after Sama, Galv paused. He couldn't let himself be known by Amestries right now... -Central City: Library Rooftops- Sora and Kairi nodded, the Keyblade disappearing in a flash of light, following after Zidane. -Central City: Cafe- “Hey...it's that girl from earlier!” Garet said to Kxs, “What is she chasing? And...” Garet paused. She seemed to be summoning water to her...Was she an Adept too? “Hey!” Garet yelled, racing out of the cafe and chasing after Crystal. He paused though, seeing a glowing, flying Sama. “...Maybe he can use the Hover move?” Garet wondered out loud, but then chased after them anyways. |
