Destroyed Wagon "Then stop whining about the past, and let's wish ourselves there." Sam said, looking at Shimera. "...I know I may sound stupid, but all I have to do is verbally wish for it? Is there some kinda role that I gotta fill?" |

Destroyed Wagon Shimera floated toward Sam and giggled some more. "It's just a wish! Wish it and it comes true! It's not that complicated." she hung up-side down again, feeling playful. |

Central City Cafe As Galv whirled around, there was no homunculus before him. He could still be getting an indication, that something was near... Hyrule Castle Town The lightning spell hit Vaati, shocking him and sending him to the ground, as he took on his purple-skinned elf form again. He coughed, clearly both agitated and amused, and spoke. "Ah..." he said. "...I let my guard down. Perhaps the presence of such a lovely maiden has distracted me..." he said. "...nonetheless, those guards should flee. They are no match for either of us, Chaos...you should send them away...unless, of course, you're hungry..." he grinned fiendishly. |

-Road to Amestries- “That has to be some powerful magic though…” Cess said, rubbing his chin, “So there has to be limits…” “Like truly bringing back the dead…I know other necromancers have claimed to do that, but from all I’ve studied, it’s impossible. They can create new life, but not bring back a soul…” Cess mused to himself. “Alright then…I wish we were all where we needed to be to find that key!” Cess said, hoping this would work to activate the magic… -Central City: Café- Galv’s hand hovered near his sword handle. He didn’t care that the café had a lot of people in it. There was a monster in here somewhere…If only he could spot it! Eyes darting around, he suddenly moved, hopping onto a chair, standing on it to try and get a better view, and to see if he could pin point the Homunculus. -Hyrule Castle Town- “I don’t…I don’t them,” Roxas said, shaky though, “I have plenty…” Namine looked said, still holding Roxas’ hands, then looked towards the guards. “I’m sorry…maybe we shouldn’t have come here…” she said sadly, “I hoped we could find help somewhere…” |

Destroyed Wagon Shimera laughed. "Alright then!" Her hands then started to glow. She clapped then together, then everyone that surrounded the wagon were enveloped in a bright, yellow light. (They need to go to Central City, right? I forgot XD) |

Road to Amestries Fefnir looked at the old man. "Try to stop you? We would. Why? Because you just revealed you had some more power than you lead these others on. Attack us, you'll blow your cover, these others will no doubt help seeing you as a lier." Levithan walked along, playing an ocarina to himself. Savanya whispered something to Silas, who turned to the necromancer, star maiden, and teenager. "Why are you helping this old man? Isn't there something...off about an elderly man wandering around a forest full of evil creatures and a mysterious gas, looking for someone to help him get a giant key?" He said quietly. The thieves saw the whole thing in Alexandria Forest. |

-Central City: Café- Crystal looked at Galv with a strange expression as he hopped up on a chair in effort to see....Something. She tried to pull him down. "It's hard to not gather attention when you're hopping on chairs....Are you okay?" She didn't feel anything out of place. |

Central City: Café "Will you calm down?" Sama spoke to Galv in a hushed voice as he rushed over. The young Avatar's eyes were darting around the room, but he was being far more causal about it than Galv was, in an attempt to attract less attention. "I sense it too, but we can't go around making a scene. Not in this town. If the military gets suspicious of us, we could all wind up spending the night in jail -- or a lot worse. This country doesn't mess around, and they don't need much of an excuse to shoot, so just be cool." He looked over to Crystal. "Let's get out of here. It's getting too dangerous to stick around." Ranger Airship Garnet was caught off guard by Didymus' saving embrace. She was grateful that the Paladin had been there to protect her -- Garnet certainly wasn't wearing armor, and the icicles that sprayed all over the ship would have cut her to ribbons. Still... she was a Princess, and not used to being touched, much less tackled; and indeed, she did take note of the rose-color on Didymus' face. Garnet stood and dusted herself off. She might have been caught off guard, but wasn't going to show her fluster. "Do not worry about it... I would rather be in an... awkward situation... than killed by that thing." Garnet flushed a bit. Then, she gulped. She had just noticed the icicles. Gigantic icicles were embedded in the ship, all over. The damage was heavy and extensive, and even someone like Garnet knew the ship would need repairs. "I believe we are in trouble..." |

Ranger Airship Didymus nodded. "Very well, l-Dagger, excuse me again." his face was still blushing, but returning to normal. "Brother Paladin! Doesn't your Order forbid you from courting heathen mages?" one of the Rangers yelled, the mocking tone clear in his voice. Didymus tensed up and inhaled, a tense but sheepish look on his face as his eyes darted back and forth between Garnet and the Rangers. Their captain approached, but not before shooting a look the way of his loose-tongued subordinate. "Are any of you hurt?" Didymus asked. "No, brother, we're fine." he said. He was not saying it to simply brush aside concern, nor had Didymus asked out of mere politeness. It was well known that Paladins served as healers of sorts in the Galdwin. Whether it was by divine intervention for which they prayed, or by some form of magic they didn't know they used, Paladins had a reputation as faith healers-something that came into play even on the battlefield. "However..." the captain said. "...the ship is too battered, too heavy. We cannot take you all the way to Central. In fact, you may have noticed, we're setting down here. We've got fuel leaks, hull weakness, and more. We've got to lose as much as we can, and turn around now." Indeed, the ship was coming down, slowly but surely, in a remote area. "There's settlements not too far from here, and a train station, if our map is correct..." the Ranger said. "...but I'm afraid this is where you get off." He handed Didymus a pack. There was another one, too, he offered to Garnet. "Some supplies and bedrolls. We were going to be using them, but it looks like that isn't going to happen now. Take them. Oh, and this-" he said, handing over a smaller pouch. "Amestris cenz. Don't worry, this money was gotten legitimately BEFORE the war. The Ranger Corps wouldn't pass off pilfered money to a Paladin." he grinned a bit, as the airship set down. Didymus nodded, looking earnest now. "Alright. Thank you, Ranger." he said. "No thanks needed. Godspeed, both of you." Didymus recovered his brown overcloak, put a pack on, and headed toward the boarding ramp which had just been lowered. "Shall we go...Dagger?" he asked. |

Downed Ranger Airship Garnet looked about, trying to get a handle on the situation. This was not good. Her mother’s flying monsters had downed the ship and set back her journey considerably. They were close, but the walk would be long and tiring, and it left them exposed. If Brahne could attack an Airship, she could certainly attack them on foot. It would be easier, and pose a greater danger. She did pause, though, when one of the Rangers spoke up. She cast a glance to him and frowned, her face visibly hurt. Granted these were not HER people, but she had hoped that the some respect would be shown to a princess. “. . . Do you view me as evil, Sir Ranger, merely because I am a mage? I ask you to show me at least minimal respect, not because of my royal heritage, but because of my goal. I seek to end this war and prevent further loss of life for BOTH of our people. If that is not deserving of at least some of your respect, then perhaps it is best that we are now forced to part ways.” The Princess spoke in a calm manner, but inside she was both angry and disheartened. It was difficult to change the Order’s view on the Mages, and it would be no less difficult to change the Mages view of the Paladin Order. Yet she feared that without creating some bridge between the two very different peoples, a lasting peace would be impossible. The ship had been attacked and destroyed, she and Didymus were stuck in the very dangerous Amestris country side and she was beginning to see that stopping her mother would not be enough to bring peace. Was this undertaking too much for the young princess? Well, it didn’t matter. It was too late to turn back now. “… Come, Sir Didymus.” She took the pack and placed it over her back. “Let us be on our way. The Amestris Military may have seen the explosions in the air, and we should not be here when they arrive to investigate.” She headed off in the direction of Central without waiting for him. |

Amestris countryside Didymus hurried after Garnet, catching up to her and slowing down to match her pace. She seemed...well, it was obvious how she felt. At the airship, the Ragners jettisoned some more supplies, then, slowly, started it up again... ...as it rose, Garnet MAY have been able to overhear the captain...apparently screaming at one of his subordinates, something about "proper respect and bearing". Didymus, as he walked beside Garnet, couldn't help but feel...well, tense. She did NOT look happy. "...the Ranger, right?" he asked. "...you...want to talk about it?" If he was going to be traveling with (and protecting) her, it would probably be a good idea to try to relieve any tension with her ASAP. |

Central City: Café Sama hurried after Crystal, spying the window. A clever escape plan! He'd be glad to get to someplace a little safer than the Café had become. "Let's find some place to lay low for a bit... I really don't want to attract any more attention from the military." Amestris Countryside Garnet was seething. While she could maintain her composure and the calm, cool face of a princess, she could not dismiss emotion altogether. "What I want is for the people of this continent to find a way to live in peace! I'm tired of the constant wars between the nations. I realize there are deep divides between our religions, our economies and our cultures... but if we continue to allow our differences to divide us, we will never have an end to these wars. People like my mother and that ranger... they don't understand. We need to have peace..." She shook her head, and then looked at him. "I'm sorry... I don't mean to unload this on you... we have an more important task ahead of us." |
