I can't see what you're imagining

-Great Desert- “Of course!” Garet said, following after Isaac and Mia, standing next to the blue haired girl. “Oh, I kept this safe, Isaac,” Garet said, producing the Mars Star, “Alex tried to take it once...” -Xing- Hammah sat next to Crystal, waiting for his food. Of course, he refused to eat anything with meat in it... “What kind of operation?” Spork wondered, curious. -Central- Streets “That's why we're splitting up, Sam,” Cess said, “So we can cover more ground and find someplace to stay. We'll meet back here in three hours, alright?” He turned to Shimera, smiling at the girl, “Let's go.” Military Headquarters “This room is very secure, do not worry,” Gallic said, “The only people allowed near here are trusted subordinates.” In truth, Gallic didn't actually trust any of his subordinates. Not completely at least. He just trusted that they wouldn't dare cross him. Small Apartment Galv frowned, walking over to Melanie and pulling her into a hug. “If you're sure...but I hate to think of you just being cooped up here...” Galv sighed, “We could disguise you maybe, with a cloak or something?” -Thundara: Royal Castle- “Oh no...” Tygra said, eyes wide as Mumm-ra appeared. “Lion-O, come on...we have to stop him,” Tygra said, turning to Lion-O. -Galdwin: Coastal Town- A young looking man with long blue hair closed his eyes, breathing in the sea air. “Galdwin...an usual place...” Alex muttered, “But one of them is here...I should pay him a visit...” |

[Great Desert: Refugee Camp] “We’re here.” Mia said, as they stepped into the camp. It was a small, run down village of tents. No real structures, everything portable. In the middle of the camp was a firepit for the night. There were several people, a mix match from around the continent. “A lot of people fled to the desert during the war. It’s the one place Amestris hasn’t advanced too… yet. Thundara and Xing are still safe, but it’s only a matter of time.” Mia explained. “There’s a man here who has been rallying troops, trying to put together an expedition to go and fight Amestris.” [Xing: Restaurant] Musashi looked up to Spork and grinned. “One that will change the world. A spy of mine went to Amestris to try to find information on their movements. He found something more. Apparently, a group of alchemists working directly for the Fuhrer has been coming into the desert. It seems like they’re building something… but what, no one is sure.” “Building something?” Sama asked. “A machine? Some kind of mechanical weapon?” “No…” Musashi shook his head. “Something… biological. They’re building a life form using alchemy and necromancy. Some kind of secret weapon…” “That sounds ominous and horrible.” Sama shuddered. “Agreed. That’s why I want to stop it.” [Thundara: Royal Castle] Lion-O nodded to his brother and reached for his sword; but as he did, Mumm-Ra raised his hands. “Behold! The power of EVIL!” Suddenly, from out of the ground, several skeletons rose up, all of them armed with swords and spears. [Galdwin: Countryside Church] Garnet climbed into the car and nodded. “I shall come with you, if it is permitted. However, I must speak to the Elders as soon as I can.” |

Galdwin: Coastal Town Leliana paused, seemingly unsurprised to hear the name. "I've heard stories about it. Some easier to believe than others. I know there are lands beyond the sea...whether Lemuria is among them or not, that would be interesting...but either way, our nation, people, and faith endure and must be defended...this war has turned much of our attention inward..." She paused. "I assume your story relates to it?" Galdwin: Countryside church "I believe it is...but let's see...the local brother seems to be waving us wishes of a good trip, so let's be off..." He gestured at the driver-an enlisted man in the Galdwinian army, by his uniform- "This is Corporal Shepherd. Corporal, yes, this is in fact Garnet til Alexandros XVII, and her bodyguard Captain Steiner..." The corporal removed his helmet. "Good morning, highness...and sir..." he said, apparently humbled/honored by the meeting, to which Steiner answered with a "Good morning." of his own. "To the town, please, corporal, I need to meet with my reinforcements, whoever or whatever that refers to..." "Yes, Brother Paladin." the corporal said, and they were off. Soon, they had arrived in town, and got out... "This is the rendevous point...apparently we need to-" An older man with a walking stick had come up, with a heavy brown overcloak. His eyes were green, his hair grey, and Didymus' eyes lit up when he saw him. "Elder! Elder Galahad! What are you doing out here!" "Brother Didymus, it is good to see you arrived safely...and you brought Lady Garnet, I see...good morning to you. And to you, Captain Steiner." the Elder smiled warmly at them. "Perfect timing, Elder..." Didymus said. "...the lady was saying she needed to speak with the Elders..." Galahad contiuned smiling warmly, reassuringly. "Yes? What can I do for you, Lady Garnet?" he asked. Great Desert: refugee camp A figure was making his own way through the crowds, his cloak drawn tightly around him, looking for someone else...and simultaneously surprised and not surprised that things had come to this. |

-Central- Streets "Gotcha...let's go, Kay." He gently tugged her hand, holding onto it as he walked off. His eyes wandered... Where can we stay...urgh, if only we had some money. We can make a den...not very comfy, but it can do if it's really needed. |

The Great Desert: Refugee Camp Before he could ask about Alex, Mia slammed him with information. "A-Amestries? War? I heard about it during my travels..but to think this is all really happening...we don't have much time, now, do we? I knew we weren't alone.." He surveys the camp. "Interesting. Do you..guys plan to stick around with this group?" He asks. Galdwin: Coastal Town Piers nodded with a smile. "I'm a Lemurian sailor. You might not believe me, but let me say, the legends are true. I stand before you similar in age, but truly, I'm old enough to be your grandfather..." He let it sink in for a second. "Well, I don't really want to go into my banishment or reason why. Let me tell you, though, I'm a law abiding man. Even though I found the reason why unjust, I just couldn't bend the laws. I went to Amestries and decided to make a life for myself out here...I gathered a crew together and moved out this way...Well, knowing you guys are in a war explains why my crew deserted me." He sighs. "But, I can't stay here...I won't give up psynergy...and gathering a crew here will be hard due to magic being considered unlawful...I mean no offense to you, though, believe me. I respect you guys. There are some..enemies with psynergy, needless to say, and your caution is rightly justified." |

Central: Streets Shimera bobbed in the air gleefully before coming back to the ground and skipping alongside Cess. "Good luck, you two!" she shouted to the werewolves. KxS merely waved with a smile and followed Sam. She only hoped they can find someplace with a secure basement. |

-Central: Streets "We can dig up a den, if we really need a place to stay...but for now, let's look and ask around. Any cash on you?" Sam looked at KxS, hoping she would have money. "If you have enough cash, maybe we can stay until we need to meet up. Other option's to stay awake until then and walk around..." |

-Great Desert: Refugee Camp- “These Amestries people use some kind of alchemy too...not like our's though...” Garet added. “And for right now, we are, trying to help out...” Garet sighed, “I've seen a lot of bad stuff, and we haven't had any leads on any of our friends, or Alex...” -Xing: Restaurant- “Sounds bad...but how are you planning on stopping it?” Spork wondered, “Do you have a plan of attack? Any information besides something is there? Going in half ready will get anyone sent killed...” -Thundara: Royal Castle- “Oh no...” Tygra frowned, then produced his whip, vanishing into thin air. One of the skeletons suddenly collapsed, being hit repeatedly with a high speed, unseen attack, as Tygra moved through the skeletons, trying to take them down while he rushed at Mumm-ra! -Galdwin: Coastal Town- Alex walked down through the town, getting stares from his strange clothes and unusual appearance. He wasn't trying to hide. He wanted his presence to be known. He stopped by the jail, then produced a blue gem that fit in his palm, smooth to the touch. The Mercury Star. Alex held it carefully, then focused, water beginning to swirl around him, shooting from the ground in torrents! He smiled faintly. He could sense the other Adept... -Central: Streets- Cess smiled faintly. Despite their situation, he liked spending time with Shimera. He always felt better around the girl, and the two had grown a lot closer over the year they had been traveling. “I think our best bet is just going to be finding some hole in the wall place...” Cess sighed, “It won't be ideal, but those kind of places are less likely to rat on any occupants they might have then the upper end places.” Cess did have a bit of money, gained from small jobs, or short shows he did while they traveled. He noticed that they seemed to get a bit more money when Shimera helped him out with them, too. |

Central: Streets Shimera nodded in agreement. "Best thing we can get. I hope I won't have to sleep on anything slimy again," she shuddered. One thing that girl hated was dirty things. -- KxS shrugged slightly. "All the money is Cess'. I don't have anything but a stick of jerky and a stick in my pocket. What's a stick doing in there anyway?" She threw the stick away and found herself running toward it. |

[The Great Desert: Refugee Camp] Mia noticed the look on Issac’s face. This was all a lot for him to take in. She put a gentle hand on his shoulder. “It’s okay, Issac. I know things sound bad… but we’re getting by. As for our plans… you should talk to Ivan. He’s been meeting with one of the important people around here. There’s a man rallying soldiers for some strike against Amestris. Ivan’s been speaking to him…” She trailed off, hoping things were still alright. […] Elsewhere, a fellow adept – this one specializing in wind – named Ivan was sitting in a tent, meeting with one of the leaders of the refugees. A tall man with pale skin and dark hair. He had a beard and mustache now, and dark circles under his eyes. He looked like he hadn’t slept in a long time. He wore dirtied clothes that were torn in several places, but on his hands were pristine white gloves with an alchemic symbol sewn into them. [Galdwin: Town] “Elder Galahad!” Garnet immediately bowed, as was the custom in Alexandria. She had mellowed a lot over the last year, but some of the old customs were still firmly rooted in her mind. “Elder… Galdwin has already helped me more times than I can count, and I am deeply indebted to you. However, I must ask you to indulge me one last time. I’ve given a lot of thought about this…” She paused. “I need to return to Alexandria. I must do this immediately. I intend to stake claim to the throne. They have framed me for killing my mother, as you know… I fled Alexandria then, but I cannot continue to allow my nation to suffer or to support Amestris… I must return immediately and attempt to take the throne.” [Xing: Restaurant] “We’re not sure how to stop it… but we know that area is deep in the wilderness. There’s no natural supplies around there. So if Amestris is doing something there, there has to be a supply line. We find that supply line and we can find out what’s happening.” Musashi explained. “That makes sense…” [Thundara: Royal Castle] Mumm-ra raised his hands and a magical wall appeared in front of him to block Tygra! Lion-O, meanwhile, was stabbing at nearby skeletons. |

Galdwin: Coastal town Leliana raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Really, now? Fascinating..." she paused, reflecting on a few things. "...so, you gathered a crew from Amestris and took them to try becoming a merchant sailor here? Well, I am sorry for your loss...perhaps they were simply started by the law's intervention? They wouldn't have happened to have gathered somewhere, would they? Even places like these...?" she gestured around at the tavern (I think...? XD) they were in. Galdwin: (inland) Town Galahad simply smiled and held up his hand when Garnet bowed. "There's no need for that, Lady Garnet. But thank you for the courtesy." He listened as Garnet spoke, and his face became more earnest. "...hmm...yes, yes, this...I have to say, I was expecting something like this. I believe I was guided here at this time, and not simply to aid in Brother Didymus' assignment, but, the Elders and I were thinking, to give him a new one..." Didymus paused. "Elder?" "You said you counted your adventure with the lady as a blessing for which you are grateful, correct?" the Elder looked to Didymus with a look that seemed to be recalling more than just that. "Yes, Elder, I DID say that-" "And as I said, I...we...the Elders and I have been praying. Listening. Trying to, at least. And hearing, we think. Brother Didymus." Didymus straightened up. "Elder." "Hear now the next decree of the Order, and your instructions. As you once traveled at Lady Garnet's side, so we would have you do once again. She is finally making the move, a move that can alter the course of this war for good. You are well aware of how many lives ride upon hers, to say nothing of things besides body counts. You know the stakes of this mission, all the good that can come if it succeeds, and all the evil that may come if it fails..." Didymus paused. "Yes...yes, Elder. I am honored." "Excellent." Galahad turned to regard Garnet again. "Of course, one more question remains...two, in fact. Both of which you can answer. The first is simple: would you accept Brother Didymus' company, and all that that entails, Lady Garnet?" He paused, and slightly smiled a bit. "And if yes, I would still ask you to hold your journey but a bit longer...Didymus still does have one task I should like to see him attend to around here." The Great Desert:Refugee camp The dark-haired, cloaked figure had finally found the tent he was looking for. Pushing his glasses further in, he moved closer...until he heard two voices inside the tent, and decided to wait. Central City, Amestris A brown-haired girl in uniform was making her way through the streets, having lost the trail of her previous quarry...when she saw another girl chasing after a stick...almost instinctively. She paused. It may have seemed just a little strange, but her earlier sighting had made her wary...she decided to hide and keep an eye on this girl, and the boy she was with, at least for now... ...elsewhere, a black-haired girl in uniform was visibly pouting, near where Cess and Shimera were... |

Central: Streets "No money...this is problematic. Well...we can't exactly get a place that'll just take us in. Our best bet is to just stay awake and stay occupied until the three hours are up." Sam picked up the stick with a glowing aura of boredom. "Hey, maybe the stick'll lead us." He pocketed the stick, and then walked a bit. "What do you think?" |

Galdwin: Coastal Town Piers allows the idea to set for a few moments before shaking his head. "Well I had another purpose here, alongside it. Looking for a few friends..." He contemplates some more. "No idea where my crew went, they just kind of dissipated. If I knew there was a war going on, I probably wouldn't have come here to begin with...I'll just find myself a new crew. It'll be ragtag, I don't have much money left to my name now..." He folds his arms...then, suddenly, opens them wide. He felt something..water, jetting up from the ground. Only one thing he thought could have produced it.. "Oh, no." He gets up. "Miss Leliana? You've got a problem. Come on!" He runs out of the tavern to look for him...to look for Alex. Great Desert: Camp He smiles a bit. "Thanks, Mia." He looks up. "Ah, Ivan...well, take me too him. I'm a little interested in this setup." He was calm once more, his eyes scanning over the various refugees. |

-Central: Streets- “Don't worry, I'll make sure wherever we find is clean,” Cess said, smiling, “Even if I have to clean it myself!” He grinned, taking Shimera's hand now. “Let's find a good place to stay...” -The Great Desert: Refugee Camp- “It hasn't been too bad, thankfully. We get a lot of supplies from Xing,” Garet mentioned, “And our Psynergy has been really helpful with setting things up.” -Galdwin: Coastal Town- Alex smiled faintly, water still collecting around him, his power becoming boosted by the Mercury Star he held. “I know there's an Adept nearby,” he called out, “Show yourself...or I shall drown this town...” |

[Galdwin: City] “Elder, I would be happy to have Didymus escort me back to Alexandria. However, I must urge you that we cannot wait very long. I fear that with every day we come close to losing this battle…” Garnet looked worried. [Great Desert: Refugee Camp] “We still have a lot of work to do… but the refugees here believe they’re onto a way to change things.” Mia explained. Soon, she led them to a small tent, where a man seemed to be waiting outside. “Can we help you?” Mia asked warily. |
