GRAPPLING HOOK!

Central City-cafe Rose blinked and shifted uncomfortably "He...Umm...Sorry but I shouldn't say...No offense or anything, it's just really supposed to be a secret...Trust me, it's better if you didn't know...It's just important no one know he's here" |

Central City-cafe Sheska blinked again. "Um...okay..." she said, turning to return to the dining room. Of course, Crystal's request did seem somewhat suspicious...she was hoping that she wouldn't have to dwell on it. She was a bookkeeper, not an investigator or combat soldier. |

Central City-cafe Rose smiled, following Sheska out the door and back into the dining room. She made her way back to the table, wondering if the boy's had figured out what they were going to eat by now. When she noticed there was no food on the table she frowned. "Geez, you guys take quite a long time to decide what you want" |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
(How the heck did I miss this much?!) -Central City Cafe- “Sorry sir,” a waiter sighed, seeming to appear by the table, “We are busy today...what can I do you all for?” “Toast...No butter. And hot water,” Galv said simply, not having bothered to look at his menu. “And for you two?” the waiter wondered, scribbling down Galv's order, and turned to Crystal and Sama. Meanwhile, in the cafe, Garet's argument with the cashier was beginning to get louder. “Come on! This is money! It might not be your money, but it's still gold!” Garet yelled loudly, waving his arm in the air... -Outside Central City- “Okay...so you have a book on alchemy...” Sora muttered, rubbing the back of his head, “But do you know how to do alchemy? I mean, yah, you have a book on it, but just because I could have a book on airship building, doesn't mean I could build an airship.” -Alexandria City- “Oh...really?” The necromancer known as Cess, for some odd reason, was still in the city. He seemed to be having fun. Cess had approached the young boy on the box, not seeming to be bothered that the city guard would probably be on the look out for people like him, even though Cess had nothing to do with the graves. He might be a necromancer, but he did not dabble in bringing back sentient life. “Fifty gil,” Cess said, holding out the coins to the boy, “Let's see what you got.” |

Fear The Halberd! Fear it!
|
-Alexandria City- Sam took a look at Cess and another boy, smirking as he leaned against the wall. "What business they have is of their own...however, this may be interesting..." |

Central City Cafe Crystal smiled up to the waiter "I would like two pastries, strawberry please. And some camomile tea...Oh! And a new pitcher of water if you get a chance, I accidentally tipped the last one" she admitted with a slight giggle. |

Alexandria City The boy on the box, named Palom, nodded, taking the coins and grinning. "Sure! What do you want to see?" he asked. |

Central City Cafe "I want some eggs... oh, and some pastries! And, uh... I guess that's it." Sama said to the waiter at length, handing over his menu. He looked to Crystal and tilted his head a bit. "You okay?" He was still a bit concerned about her shoving menus into people's faces and knocking things over earlier. He heard some kind of argument, though, and turned his head to see Garet arguing with a waiter. He blinked and shrugged. The cafe was more active than he'd expected. Outside Central City Zidane sighed and shrugged his shoulders. This was exactly why he liked worked alone -- there was always some naysayer with a list of complaints about the plan. He patted Vivi on the back. "Relax! I told you I have this covered. My buddy here is the finest Black Mage in the land! He can do some alchemy. So if you're all done nitpicking the only plan, let's get a move on!" Ranger Airship "The ship's too heavy!" One of the ranger's called out. He was right, with the steam engine broken and the water turning to ice on the deck, the entire ship was becoming weighed down. Black Waltz No. One gave a delightful cackle and jumped up, using his wings to float above Didymus' attack. The evil creature was very much alive, and did not seem to think of the Paladin as much of a threat. "Time to end you and claim my prize!" Black Waltz No. One growled; and then he began to form a massive shard of ice above his head. Train To Treno Yuna, standing behind the oversized samurai, nodded to the soldiers. "I am Yuna, High Summoner of the Yevonite Cluster! I have no interest in you or your wars, but you've left me with no choice! Now leave this compartment and let the train continue ahead, or I will have no choice!" She hated revealing who she was, but in this case, there was no alternative. Yojimbo just stood and stared down at the soldiers. He was a gigantic, magical samurai with two swords and a dog; and he was not afraid of humans in the least. |

-Central City Cafe- “Of course,” the waiter said, taking their orders and then heading off. Galv merely glanced about the room, feeling a bit exposed at their table. Garet sighed, and decided to just find food elsewhere, and he headed for the exit. -Alexandria City- “Let's see some of that 'dark magic,'” Cess answered with a grin, “You seem pretty sure about it.” -Outside Central City- “Okay then...Let's just be careful. I'd rather not have to fight my way through the Central City police and all that. Not a challenge I'd relish,” Sora grinned, “Let's just hope no one stops us...” |

Central City Cafe Unfortunately, Sama had no idea what Garet looked like, so even though he had noticed him earlier, he didn't know that the redhead was the man they were looking for. However, Sama HAD noticed him get turned away by the waiter, and while the last time Sama had chased after someone it had been a major misunderstanding, he couldn't stand to see someone go hungry. It went against his nature. With a sigh, he looked to Crystal and Galv. "I'll be right back..." Then he jumped up and chased after Garet. "Hey! Hold on! You're hungry, right? We can share some pastries!" He offered. Outside Central City Zidane raised an eyebrow. "Oh, sure. A kid with a giant key, a dashingly handsome man with a monkey tail, a big oaf in rusted armor... That's only part of our group and already we qualify as the most suspicious in town!" Zidane shrugged. "Just follow me! We'll take the rooftops... assuming rusty isn't too heavy to climb!" |

-Central City Cafe- “Hmmm?” Garet paused, turning to Sama, then grinned, “Oh really? Thanks!” Unlike Nihlus from before, Sama seemed trustworthy to Garet. “I can pay for them...kinda...” Garey said, pulling out a bag, and showing Sama some gold coins, “The restaurant wouldn't take these though...I'm...kinda from out of the country.” -Outside Central City- “Hey, do you see any giant key on me now?” Sora said, then held up his hand, the Keyblade appearing in a flash of light. “Key appears...” a flash of light, and it disappeared again, “Key disappears.” “Rooftops?” Kairi said, “Sounds like fun!” |

(Oh gosh. I've been absent (I had SRB in the background for TWO GS posts...great...)Train to Treno The soldiers backed away. Calls of "Let them go!" echoed through the train, and soon enough, it was on its way again... Outside Central City Steiner fumed again at Zidane's comments. He couldn't quite get used to them, but followed along after Zidane anyway. It was for Garnet, after all... "However, I suggest, if we find the princess, we do not take anything...we want to avoid trouble as much as possible. I shall convince her to return to the castle." he said. Alexandria City Palom grinned. "Okay! Just a little bit...fire!" he yelled, and fireballs magically appeared, and he directed them back and forth, "tossing" them as if juggling. Of course, this wasn't all he could do, but it was at least a performance. Ranger airship Didymus was getting even more concerned. The water was freezing, the engine was getting problems...oh, and that soulless mage-thing was still trying to kill him and take Garnet. Hopefully, the Waltz wouldn't anticipate what was about to happen. He quickly ran under the Waltz, and, with more prayers/incantations, he leaped up, his jump (possibly) enhanced by blessing/Paladin abilities (gotta be careful when describing this :heh:), hoping to reach the Black Waltz in mid-air and drive his sword into it! |

Central City Cafe "You okay?" Crystal looked at Sama and grinned widely trying to act natural--but sort of failing miserably... "Oh me? I'm totally fine! Just totally ready for some yummy pastries!" she exclaimed happily, fiddling around with the unused menu. Suddenly Sama excused himself from the table and Crystal gave a soft sigh as he rushed off on the opposite side of the cafe-- luckily away from Sheska. Though she was curious to where he had rushed off to she didn't question it too much, she was sure he'd be back in a minute or so. "Sooo...Galv was it?" she stated a bit awkwardly, trying to make conversation "You alright? You look a bit...Nervous..." |

Train to Treno When the soldiers left, Mia spoke out. "So, that's your power?" She asked. "You can summon others to do the fighting for you? That's amazing!" Issac was a little surprised as well. But he did not speak out... Central City Nihlus had finally woken up, and decided it was time to journey out once more. He began his trip to Alexandria at the crack of dawn. It was now mid-morning, and he had stopped to eat breakfast. He was only 1/3 the way, but it wouldn't matter. He'd make it before the end of the day at this pace. |

Train to Treno Once the train was underway again, Yuna recalled Yojimbo and sat down with a sigh. She was silent for a moment, until Mia spoke up. She gave a small smile. "Yes... I am the High Summoner of the Yevonite Cluster. Central City Cafe Sama had to help others whenever he could. He looked to Garet and shrugged his shoulders. "Don't worry about it! I might as well buy some food for a hungry man. I don't really have any other uses for my money." The Avatar had the task of helping others. It was what he had to do. "Oh, I'm Sama! Nice to meet you, Mr...?" Outside Central City Zidane shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, yeah. No problem." He jumped up onto one of the walls of Central and disappeared onto a rooftop. In a few moments, he reappeared and threw a rope down. "Here, everybody climb on up! Stay low and don't get seen... and Rusty, try not to break the rope, eh?" Ranger Airship Black Waltz No. One gasped and moved as Didymus jumped towards his back. The quick mage was able to avoid being stabbed in the spine, but was not quick enough to completely escape! The Paladin's sword tore into Black Waltz's wing, causing the mage to roar out in pain and tumbled onto the railing of the ship. He staggered a bit, and then stood back up, raising his bell. With a ring, the water on the floor froze -- and as it froze, it expanded, cracking and splintering the frame of the airship in many places. "I'll tear this ship out of the skies!" Black Waltz No. One cried out. If he was not stopped soon, the ship would be destroyed! |
