[The Highwind] Yuna let out a sigh and looked at the others. She was embarrassed from some of her harsher actions, and she let out a small cough. “... My apologies to you both.” She bowed to them. “I did not mean to insinuate that Garnet would not be given a choice in the matter.” Auron frowned and looked to the others. “... Even if you all disagree on faith or magic, you all saw what happened when The Earl attacked. I'd urge all of us to be more careful to prevent a next time.” Yuna frowned. “Kilika was once a very beautiful island...” [Small Town] Rica nodded to the woman. She seemed like she didn't much care for Ryan. It kind of reminded him of the way everyone else acted around him. “... Is there? In that case, I'd like to see that room. I won't ask you to open any doors, of course, just point me in the right direction.” [Gerudo Lighhouse] Sama nodded. He didn't like Alex much either, but getting to higher levels would be a good idea. He turned to the others and leaned close to Crystal for a minute. “Do you trust me?” Meanwhile, outside, Ganondorf and his troops were charging in. And outside, someone else was moving closer to the Lighthouse... |

The Highwind Didymus smiled. "That bowing may not be necessary...but apology accepted. If I have rendered undue offense, I apologize for that offense myself." he said. Rikku looked around. "That's better! Fighting with your friends and allies and stuff only hurts you, you know!" she said, waging her finger again. “... Even if you all disagree on faith or magic, you all saw what happened when the Earl attacked. I'd urge all of us to be more careful to prevent a next time.” Knight and Paladin nodded. "Indeed..." Steiner said. "...we must keep a close watch on the princess day and night from now on!" “Kilika was once a very beautiful island...” "Was...once?" Didymus asked. "...I have a feeling I'm not going to like this story..." he said. |

[The Highwind] Yuna frowned and looked out the window. The Highwind was now making a pass around Kilika, preparing for a landing. “... It happened about a year ago. Kilika was attacked in the midst of the night. A great dark cloud consumed the island and the village. We were attacked by legions of monsters that slew many people from the city, and something horrific assaulted the village. We lost a lot of people in town.” Yuna frowned and crossed her arms as she leaned against the wall. “... It was horrific.” She sighed. “We have rebuilt, but the people are afraid of what had happened. No one is quite sure what the cause was.” |

The Highwind Didymus listened intently as Yuna told Kilika's story. "I'm...sorry..." he said. "...and is anyone going to get angry we're appearing in a mechanical airship? I don't know if it has any weapons on it or anything, and I suppose if you're okay with it, we're safe in that regard..." he said. It seemed, indeed, the Highwind was coming in for a landing, and the Paladin looked over at Garnet. "I don't know if we should really move out until Lady Garnet awakens, though..." He looked out the window. "Looks like there's more to the island than the village. Is that...hmm...certainly looks like it could be a nice place to live...is it monster-infested?" he asked. |

[The Highwind] Yuna shook her head. “Of course they will be angry! We're taking a machine into the heart of Spira. However, we're doing it for a good cause, and I am High Summoner. I will explain it to them as we arrive.” She paused as he asked about the village. “Of course there are monsters. That was the biggest problem with having the village destroyed... so many people had to flee into the island, where they were at the mercy of monsters.” |

"I...shall keep my overcloak on me if I can, but an airship, you, me, a Paladin...if you'll pardon my concern, I find myself wondering if we may be making a bigger splash, so to speak, than may be wise..." “Of course there are monsters. That was the biggest problem with having the village destroyed... so many people had to flee into the island, where they were at the mercy of monsters.” "Oh gosh..." Didymus replied. "I...again, I am sorry..." |

[The Highwind] Yuna shook her head, and gave him a small smile. “There is no need to worry. Yes, it is uncommon for a Airship, and especially one containing a Paladin... but at the same time, my cousin Rikku is of the Al Bhed. They believe in and embrace the use of machines. Yet she is my guardian.” She shook her head once more. “I am High Summoner. They will allow us to pass. Though... I'll ask you to be quiet when we land. If we are approached by guards from the temple, it is best if I do the talking.” She started to speak again, but at that moment the Highwind began its final descent. They soon landed on the beaches of Kilika, docking like a sea-ship would. And soon enough, a group of guards had approached the ship. All of them gigantic men with gigantic swords, because this world is influenced by Final Fantasy. “WHY is this monstrosity landing in our harbor!?” One of the guards bellowed. Yuna hurried to the doors of the ship and stepped out just in time to see Cid arguing with the guards. “Listen here #$%^heads, don't talk bad about MY ship!” “Get this mechanical abomination away from Kilika!” “Please, settle down!” Yuna rushed over. The guard recognized her and gasped. “Lady Yuna! What are you doing in that... thing? Did these men kidnap you?” Yuna shook her head. “No, nothing like that... I have returned from Alexandria, and I have found the answers from my dreams. Inform Grand Maester Mika at once.” The guard hesitated. “Milady... this ship is a abomination of Yevon... and these people you travel with...” Yuna frowned. “I would not have traveled by these means if it could be helped. However, I have done as I was led to do. Please, allow us to pass to the Temple, and inform Grand Maester Mika.” The guard reluctantly sighed and left. |

The Highwind/Kilika Island “There is no need to worry. Yes, it is uncommon for a Airship, and especially one containing a Paladin... but at the same time, my cousin Rikku is of the Al Bhed. They believe in and embrace the use of machines. Yet she is my guardian.” Didymus nodded, and Rikku waved-as if she hadn't been introduced to the party. “I am High Summoner. They will allow us to pass. Though... I'll ask you to be quiet when we land. If we are approached by guards from the temple, it is best if I do the talking.” Didymus nodded. "I understand, summoner. But Garnet...is she awake yet?" Steiner picked her up. "Come on, if we must..." he said. Outside, Didymus stood, his brown overcloak wrapped around himself, his Paladin robe concealed, behind Yuna, and Steiner, holding Garnet, next to him. Didymus regretted what they were doing-and would have chosen not to approach with an airship if it could have been helped. Magic was banned in Galdwin, and he insisted that that law be upheld-but it was not a double standard. He insisted/preferred people respect Galdwinian laws and the faith he carried, and he preferred to respect the laws of other lands and faiths of others-even if he personally didn't agree with them. He stood quietly and earnestly, Yuna and Garnet in such close proximity...and he found himself feeling the urge to protect them both should trouble arise...Garnet more so, considering what depended on her...but either way, there he stood, earnest but relaxed, somehow...but wary, wary of threats from guards, sudden attacks...and even of these emotions he was feeling... |

I can't see what you're imagining
|
-Small Town- “You know, it's all well and fine to talk gossip to some random stranger,” the red headed woman said, putting a shirt up to dry, “But I can't just let you into the house and lead you to the room. You could be...no, scratch that, I'm almost certain you're up to something shady.” The woman sighed, placing a hand on her hip now, “So, no, I can't show you the room, mr...?” She hadn't gotten his name, after all. -Gerudo Lighthouse- On the next level there were several pits and stairs, along with statues and blocks that need to be moved. “We'll go up there,” Alex said, pointing to a higher vantage point, not far from them. “They will have to come at us a mere handful at a time with those stairs.” -Kilika Island- Sora sighed. He had been around this continent and the islands a lot so far. He never understood why people seemed to hate others who did things differently. The Spirans hated machines, the Paladins seemed to dislike magic, the alchemists spurned faith and magic many times. Wizards and witches disliked the Paladins, and many were suspicious of machines. He looked at his hand. His Keyblade. Legends said a Keyblade could bring people together...or tear them apart. There were a lot of legends about things out there though. Kairi stayed by Sora. Rincewind followed the group, unhurt from The Earl's attack. Why? Because he had been hiding somewhere else. The Luggage scuttled along by him too. |

Kilika Island Didymus stood, waiting, when another party began approaching their own. He tensed up, and looked away... ...a person with strange gravity-defying hair was approaching them. "Lady Yuna..." he spoke in a deep, even creepy-sounding voice. "...you return. What a pleasant surprise." He approached her, and performed the Yevonite prayer gesture in her direction. "And it seems you've gathered quite the retinue..." he said, gazing at each of the party members in turn... He finally noticed Garnet- "Is she hurt? Or simply tired? Either way, I can't have you put up in that thing-" he pointed at the Highwind. "-it is not proper. Come, to the village. I've been helping those who suffer here-and have been put up quite well myself. You can find rest and refreshment here now too-it's the least the High Summoner deserves. And ANY the High Summoner deems worthy of traveling with are no enemies of mine." He gave Didymus a passing smirk when he said that, before turning a smile on each of the party members in turn again. Didymus shifted, clearly uncomfortable, but waited for the party, or at least Yuna, to make a decision, or for Garnet to wake up. |

Gerudo Lighhouse] Crystal wanted to say no, and that she was sure that he was going to do something stupid....But she did trust him. More than anyone else. Even when he did dumb things that put himself in danger. The waterbender nodded, a bit annoyed he used the 'trust' thing against her. "I do" she said simply. Small Town Melanie looked around the room, and she had to admit it was REALLY nice. It was much bigger than she had ever had before and if it were not for the fact that she would have to MARRY this man, she could picture this room as her own. "Thank you..." she said with a small smile , before looking over to Galv's room....which was sort of pathetic by comparison... "Don't worry Galv! You can hang out in my room!" she said, not really thinking about it. |

[Kilika Island] Yuna gasped as she saw the man with blue hair a kimono approach them, and she bowed to him. “Maester Seymour... I am surprised you came yourself.” Auron stepped forward as Yuna bowed, and he gave a skeptical look to the man. Auron was no fan of the Spirian Hierarchy. He did not bow, either. Yuna stood up straight. “Thank you Maester. We are pleased to be in your company... but if it is alright, I already have someone who we shall stay with in Kilika. My... friend needs to rest, but whenever we can, we must see the Temple...” [Gerudo Lighthouse] Sama smiled to Crystal, and paused, as if he was going to say something... but as usual he ended up shaking his head, and heading up the stairs with the others. He saw the pits and the blocks and he frowned. “Geez... how do we get past all of this?” He scratched his head. [Small Town] Rica gave a small sigh and shrugged his shoulders. “Up to something? I'm always up to something shady. Yet I'm relatively harmless, at least to those who don't deserve to be harmed. And forgive my rudeness... my name is Rica, I am a Water Wizard from a distant land...” He shook his head. “And what was your name, again?” |

Gerudo Lighthouse Crystal just stood there for a moment, wondering why Sama was acting so strange before rushing off and heading up the stairs. She sighed and followed the others, watching the back of his head for a moment. Perhaps she would ask him after all of this stuff was over. That is, if he survived it all. The girl then turned to the blocks and statues which needed to be moved. "Seems like a job for earthbending" she noted, stopping beside Hammah. |

-Small Town- “No, he can't,” Ryan said, “He is suppose to stay in his room...you are my fiance, not his.” Galv frowned at Ryan again. “Melanie should be able to make her own decisions.” Ryan just chuckled, shaking his head. “I'll be in my...special room.” Ryan headed to another, nondescript door, and hurried inside, locking it behind him. Galv was now, for the moment, currently alone with Melanie. “...Melanie...do you want to marry that guy?” Galv wondered. “...My name is Levina,” the red haired woman said, “But you can call me Mrs. Hawkins.” He put up the final piece of clothing to dry, “Now if you excuse me, I have more chores to do.” -Gerudo Lighthouse- “We don't,” Alex said, “We wait here for the Gerudo and defeat them. They can only send a handful up at a time, and with our combined forces, they will not be a problem. Mere flies...” “I can move these too,” Garet said, “And I think we should just get to the top...” “...Fighting a horde of villains, or more flying?” Spork said, making a face. He then glanced to Hammah, “I think we should make a break for it too...” Alex frowned, “Fine then...Do what you will.” Spork focused, moving things now, as was Garet. |

Kilika Island “Maester Seymour... I am surprised you came yourself.” Seymour pretty much ignored Auron, or for that matter most anyone before him BUT Yuna, and smiled. "I could not miss your return, Lady Yuna. You of all people deserve no less." he said. “Thank you Maester. We are pleased to be in your company... but if it is alright, I already have someone who we shall stay with in Kilika. My... friend needs to rest, but whenever we can, we must see the Temple...” Seymour looked a tad intrigued, but nodded. "If you believe this person can possibly accomodate you all, then very well. Simply send for me if you need anything...and the temple is open to you especially anytime." Didymus tensed... "Shall I escort you there now?" Seymour asked. Didymus felt and urge to speak up, at least a bit of one but remained silent. |
