[Small Town] Jason waited until Galv had walked away to address Ethan. He crossed his hands and raised his eyebrow. “... Why? You plan on ratting me out to Kanna?” [Gerudo Lighthouse] Sama frowned as Alex recovered quickly from the blow. Garet yelled out and it seemed to be a clue – Sama would have to concentrate on using Fire Bending. Unfortunately, he was then blasted by high pressure water and thrown back! “Ough!” Sama hit the ground, but then he jumped up and tried to send a flaming wave at Alex! [The Highwind] Garnet was unconscious again. It was no surprise. She had been engulfed in darkness, shielded by a holy aura, and all this was after being used by a demon to create some shell monster of her mother, and that was after seeing her mother's death and the slaughter of many of her kingdom's soldiers. Yuna, however, stood up shakily. She shook her head and looked around the room. She felt sick to her stomach. “... That was... horrible.” “Is everyone okay!?” Cid burst through the door, looking worried. “What the hell happened? Geez, and just as we're close to landing...” |

GRAPPLING HOOK!

Small Town Melanie followed Ryan into the mansion, in awe of just how big it was. She had never been in such a big home. "You're home is very nice..." Melanie said politely, looking to the boy. Kanna had followed the others as well, unsure (and not really caring too much) of what Rica was up to. Gerudo Lighthouse "Sam-ah!" Crystal clutched her waist, hesiistating. She was still in pain from the shock, but she wanted to help. Especially when Sama was attacked by water. "SAMA WHAT DID WE SAY!? YOU NEED TO GO!" |

I'll bite your legs off!

The Highwind Didymus walked over to Garnet, and looked closely at her. "She yet breathes, still. Lord be praised...and I suppose that applies to all of us. That was trying, but...horrible...? I felt something menacing...but that last part, I thought I felt...warmth...and power. Was...was I the only one? My eyes were closed, but it's like...well..." He grinned a bit, but tried to choose his words carefully. "As if I was...well, being protected from a great menace...and that power was building, as if preparing to burst forth..." He shook his head. "Still, like you said, Sora, I suppose I wouldn't mind if we didn't see that guy again...does anyone want to help me with Lady Garnet here?" He slowly approached her, and moved to pick her up. When Cid burst in, Steiner was with him, just as concerned. "Yet another on our list of enemies." Didymus said. "He targeted Lady Garnet." Steiner gasped. "T-the princess...?" "She yet breathes, Captain Steiner. We were attacked via stealth. If..." Didymus shook his head again. "Captain, would you carry her to a bunk again? We can probably, SHOULD probably, keep a watch on her. Directly. As much as I hate to say it...things may be such that to leave the poor girl unescorted for but a moment could be disasterous..." Steiner picked Garnet up. "I shall remain at her side." he said, but he was clearly troubled by his not being there for Garnet. Rikku was also shaken, but...curious. "I felt bad stuff, scary stuff...but then I also felt warm and all that in that last part...and it's like I was coated in light! It was...kind of nice..." she said. Didymus looked around, most specifically even at Yuna. "Is everyone alright?" He actually approached Yuna. "Are you alright, summoner?...and you, Rikku, was it?" Rikku nodded. "Yeah...can't let gloom set in, right?" she grinned...but stepped back and turned around...trying to give her cousin some space-which was probably basically revealing her agenda... |

[Small Town] Soon Rica reemerged from the wagon, with a rather dark smirk on his face. He headed into the mansion as well. [Gerudo Lighthouse] Sama was still attempting to toss fireballs at Alex when he heard Crystal yell his name, with extra emphasis. “I told you, I'm not leaving you behind! I can't!” Sama frowned. [The Highwind] Yuna shook her head, now leaning against the wall. “I have no idea if I'm okay or not... I feel like I am going to collapse at any moment.” Her eyes went in and out of focus, but eventually she stood tall again, and looked over as Steiner carried Garnet out. “... Will she be okay?” Cid, meanwhile, gave a sigh and walked over to Sora. “Hey kid. We're landing soon. Make sure everybody's ready.” The Highwind was now in Spirian Airspace... |

The Highwind Didymus turned at Yuna's inquiry towards Garnet's welfare. "I think so, to be honest..." he said. He followed after Steiner and Garnet. "...if you still wish to chat, we can...either way, it was good to speak with you again, Yuna, and I am thankful we all seem to have made it through that." In a bedroom, Steiner laid Garnet on a bunk and sat down by it. "Forgive me, princess...I was not there..." "The appearance of this foe was sudden; be watchful in the future, but for now...perhaps we should simply give thanks she yet breathes." He knelt, head bowed next to Garnet, and placed his hands on her, then rose again, sitting down on another bunk. "As much as I hate to say it...we may need to tighten our watch on her..." Steiner nodded. "I...thank you for being here, Brother Paladin." Didymus smiled a bit. "Thank God, Captain. As for me, it is my honor to be here." Steiner nodded again, this time approvingly. |

I can't see what you're imagining

-Small Town- Outside “...You forget, I'm suppose to help the family, not just Kanna...” Ethan sighed, glancing off to the side, “Which means I'm suppose to help you and Melanie...and neither of you seem to want Melanie married to Ryan.” He didn't add that he knew what Galv was going through...In love with a girl who was going to marry someone else... “So I'll help if I can...but Kanna can't know...” Ethan told Jason. Ryan's Mansion “Why thank you...and by this time tomorrow, it will be our home,” Ryan told Melanie with a smile. Galv was tempted to attack Ryan here and there... -Gerudo Lighthouse- “If you stay, Avatar...I will let your friends go,” Alex offered, holding out his hand, “Or I can simply kill them now.” |

[Small Town] Jason raised a skeptical eyebrow. He did have a point, Ethan had to help them all... but Jason also knew that at the end of the day, Ethan's loyalties were with Kanna. He wasn't sure he could trust him... but he did need all the allies he could get. “... Fine. You come too, then. Tonight, when I meet with that kid.” […] Rica, meanwhile, was sneaking around the house – apparently looking for information on Ryan. [Gerudo Lighthouse] Sama paused and crossed his arms. He would do anything to protect his friends... even if it meant he would be in a world of trouble. “... Fine! I'll come with you, but you have to swear to me they'll be sa--” Then the walls shook. Outside the building, the Gerudo were attacking! “Attention whoever is inside the Lighthouse... you are all in violation of my desert. As such, you will all die.” It was Ganondorf's voice. [The Highwind] Yuna followed as well, and she looked a bit angry. “This is no time for congratulations. We were all almost killed back there, and I fear for Garnet's sanity now. As soon as we land, I would like to take her to the Temple of Yevon for a Summoner's Cleansing.” |

The Highwind “This is no time for congratulations. We were all almost killed back there, and I fear for Garnet's sanity now. As soon as we land, I would like to take her to the Temple of Yevon for a Summoner's Cleansing.” Didymus paused. "I personally may object to that...but as long as it doesn't involve death-cult style things or some such as that...I suppose the choice may be Lady Garnet's...perhaps we should wait till she awakens? ...would it even work? She is not a summoner as you are, if that's what it is supposed to involve..." Steiner spoke. "It shall be her choice, and her choice alone." he said. "What are you referring to, though, Yuna? I mean, which...where are we, even?" Didymus asked. |

[The Highwind] Yuna crossed her arms and her eyes narrowed at Didymus. She knew he was going to object, but at the same time she was ready to insure this happened. She had come to find Garnet after all. “Since you do not know what it involves, you should hold your condemnation.” Yuna said rather harshly. She was the High Summoner, and could be as passionate about her people as Didymus could about his. “The Summoner's Cleansing is about communing with the Ediolons. Whether she summons them in a different way than my tribe does, all summons are the same. This is a means of helping her to unlock her powers. Your objections are noted, but after what just happened, do you really think you have the luxury of time?” She shook her head. “Besides, was it not Lady Garnet who wanted to come to Spira? How else did you think we would help her learn to Summon?” |

The Highwind Didymus raised an eyebrow as Yuna narrowed her eyes and spoke harshly at him, as if to give the notion that he was unwilling to simply cave on this. Rikku had followed her cousin, and saw them arguing... "Hey hey guys, don't fight!" she said. "I'm sure that Didymus didn't mean any offense, and Yunie, you don't need to get mad, I'm sure he understands...and like this knight dude said, it's Garnet's choice, right?" Steiner nodded. "Finally. Some sense out of you." "Hey!" Didymus shook his head. "I'm not sure if I entirely approve, if at all...but I suppose it may well be in such as case as this Garnet's choice..." "It IS." Steiner said. "When she wakes, you can ask her, summoner. Otherwise, we commit to nothing without her conscent." "And again, where are we? Which island or city are we heading towards...? Did anyone get that?" Didymus asked. |

[The Highwind] Yuna shook her head and looked downright steamed. She would not allow the future of her people to be jeopardized by these two. Garnet was the one who had asked to go to Spira to learn how to Summon. “We are heading to Kilika Island. It is a peaceful place in Spira, one I do not believe you ever saw. There is a Cloister of Trials there, where we can perform the cleansing... if Garnet agrees.” |

-Small Town- “Understood...” Ethan told Jason, and turned to catch back up with Kanna. “Can I help you?” a red haired woman asked Rica, as he was sneaking around. She wasn't a teenager, but around Kanna's age. She had shorter red hair and green eyes. She was also doing laundry... -Gerudo Lighthouse- Alex frowned, as the Gerudo gave their ultimatum. “...It seems we have a common enemy at the moment,” Alex sighed, “Well then...” Psynergy glowed from his hands, and Garet, Crystal, Hammah, Spork, and Sama would feel themselves healed. “New deal. I shall help you deal with these Gerudo...then you shall come with me, Avatar,” Alex said. -The Highwind- “Not all magic is bad,” Sora frowned slightly, “And she needs help...” |

[Small Town] Rica shook his head as the redhead appeared. “Not really. I'm just looking around. Tell me, what do you know about this Ryan person? I hear he's quite the celebrity in this rat nest of a town.” Isn't Rica just charming? […] Jason was also inside now, looking for Melanie, Galv and Ryan. [Gerudo Lighthouse] Sama paused and crossed his arms. He had no intention of going with Alex, and would try to find some way of escaping – with his friends. “... Fine, I'll come with you when this is done.” Sama lied, and then he looked out the window. The Gerudo had a perimeter established around the Lighthouse, and were standing with their spears shining in the desert sun. In the front was Ganondorf, whose hand was now glowing... … and the seal on the door evaporated! |

The Highwind “We are heading to Kilika Island. It is a peaceful place in Spira, one I do not believe you ever saw. There is a Cloister of Trials there, where we can perform the cleansing... if Garnet agrees.” Didymus paused. "Agreed." Steiner said. "I don't think I saw Kilika..." Didymus said. "...in fact, Besaid was the only island I visited...anyway, if she agrees, I suppose, than it is her choice..." “Not all magic is bad,” “And she needs help...” "You've your beliefs on that subject, and I mine." Didymus said. "Garnet's seem to align more with yours, and Yuna and I...well, we are clergy with different faiths, so thus...it's probably to be expected that we will differ on our stances as to what actions and ordeals Garnet should go through...with that said, like matters of faith, this is Garnet's choice, I suppose..." Rikku didn't like this. "So we all have different beliefs, to each there own, right? We shouldn't fight or argue. And it sounds like everyone's choosing what's fair: it's Garnet's decision what she does, right Yunie?" Didymus grinned, however slightly, "So please, guys...don't fight..." she looked to Yuna and Didymus. "You two were GLAD to see each other, right? Don't ruin that!" she waged a finger at them. Didymus tensed. "Well...I dunno..." "You DON'T KNOW?! That's a terrible thing to say! Of course you're glad! It's like a big reunion! And we're all working to help Garnet, right? The more the merrier?" She offered up a smile. Didymus regarded Yuna and Sora. "Look, we do have our differences, and I'm sure none of us have any intention of compromosing our values and such...but none of us have to, right? We shouldn't be infighting...of course, if we were, it would, perhaps, come to blows..." He shook his head. "...you know where I stand. But you also know that I don't want to be at your throats, nor have you at mine...I'd rather be friends, I think..." he grinned, slightly. Rikku kept smiling. "That's a start, I guess! Come on, let's knock this off. We know what we're doing at we all agree, so let's go back to being friends and remembering good times and stuff!" Didymus grinned still, shaking his head a bit, before sitting down. "So...is Kilika as peaceful and beautiful as Besaid?" |

-Small Town- The red head woman frowned. “I don't know much. My family and I moved here recently. He owns most of everything in this town, though,” the woman answered, “Though...there's a room none of the work are allowed in...” Why was she telling Rica this? Because she didn't really care about Ryan. Something seemed very off about him. “You can sleep here, Melanie,” Ryan said, opening a door, showing a large room, with stuff. Nice stuff. I'm lazy. “It's right next to my room,” Ryan added with a smile. Galv really wanted to attack the older boy. “And here, you can use this room,” Ryan said to Galv, and across the hall was a much smaller room, more like a closet. There was a bed there though, at least. -Gerudo Lighthouse- “We should head to higher levels,” Alex said, “And prepare to fight. They'll probably be here soon.” He wasn't too worried if the others would try and go back down...then they'd have to face the Gerudo themselves. Garet frowned, then followed Alex up the stairs. He didn't like trusting this guy... |
