[The Highwind] Garnet was sitting alone now, not wanting to speak to anyone. Unfortunately, someone wanted to speak with her – and even more unfortunately it was someone quite evil. The summons in her body did not react however, as she turned to face the Earl. She looked visibly afraid, but remain silent. "I can bring the dead back to life, see. I certainly can, and I have done it so many times now, brought happiness to so many people. I felt your emotional pain, I know someone close to you died..." Garnet did not respond; not verbally. Her eyes widened and tears built in the corners. She looked distraught, moreso than before. "I can bring them back. I can bring HER back, back the way she was before. I can return to you who you loved most, whom you cared for most, and who cared for you for so long." A cold shiver went down her spine and settled in the pit of Garnet's stomach, radiating chills through her body. She did not trust this. She knew that no spell could resurrect the dead, at least not in any form that wasn't a hideous, horrible abomination. She had studied it well... … and yet, sadness and grief cleaved to her heart and she did not pay attention to this fact she knew so well. “... … ...” Garnet nodded. |

-Treno- Decrepit Streets “ALLEN!” A teenage girl shouted, racing over the roof top. Her boots glowed slightly, her Innocence active, racing towards the battle. Was she too late? Was he...was he dead? “Allen!” Lenalee yelled, dropping by Allen in the street. Her golem fluttered near her. Why couldn't she have gotten here sooner? The Dark Order wanted Allen to find Cross...but now...his arm. His Innocence...Where was it? “Allen...please...don't be dead...” Lenalee muttered. Another figure dropped down by Lenalee, looking around at the scene in horror. “What has happened here?” Krory said, looking down at Allen, then saw Chloe as well, “This is not good...” -Gerudo Lighthouse- “Just hit it!” Garet yelled, “Inferno!” Garet sent a blast of fireballs at the Tempest Lizard, the creature roaring, then sent a tornado at the group! |

Treno Cafe Sam grabbed his weapon and blocked the slash. "...Failure is always an option for me. Dying?" He gave a smirk. "Well, let's see how many ways I can say this, ya freak. No, nada, nein, no way Jose, no chance Lance, never, negatory, ahnee, and my own personal favorite, man falling down a cliff 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'..." He paused for a bit after fading out... "Not done yet..." He did an explosion sound effect while slashing at Vanitas. "Poof." |

Treno Cafe KxS had disappeared. She didn't know where she was going, but she felt a sharp pang of guilt when she left Sam back at the cafe. Then Vanitas appeared! Shimera took a stance and fired a solar beam at Xehanort's apprentice! |

Wagon "Thanks Jason" Melanie said quietly, heading back over to where Kanna and the others. She tried not to look at her mother, but instead climbed into the wagon, sitting beside Galv and across from Rica. Kanna couldn't help but to be suspicious, looking over to Jason and glaring. It was as if she was demanding him to tell her what had been said between the two siblings. She didn't want anything to go wrong with this arrangement. Gerudo Lighthouse Crystal was smart enough to know that she probably shouldn't fight a giant electric lizard...With water. While she had never been properly taught about such science she had learned while playing with Sama in a thunderstorm as kids. After a couple burns and Sama's hair catching fire (it wasn't that bad, but contributed to his messy hair today) they had learned that water bending was best reserved for clear days. In times like these she felt pretty useless... "Guys be careful!" |

-Treno- Cafe Vanitus blocked Sam's swipe with his Keyblade, then jumped to the side, Shimera's beam missing. Cess muttered an incantation, three golems coming from the streets. One grabbed Vanitus's right arm, which held his Keyblade. Vanitus held up his free hand, unleashing a spell and destroying the creature by freezing it solid, then shattering it it. Vanitus sneered from beneath his featureless black helmet. “Worthless,” he said, as the air began to grow cold, firing an ice spell at Sam, Shimera, and Cess! -Woods- Galv smiled lightly as Melanie sat near him. He wanted to take her hand, but Kanna would probably stab him, bond with her daughter or not. Walter continued be silent and scary. -Gerudo Lighthouse- Spork frowned, looking at his sword. He could not easily bend the stone in this lighthouse for some reason, so he'd have to rely on his swordsmanship. “Help cover me!” Spork yelled, then rushed forward, unsheathing his sword as he charged the Tempest Lizard. |

[Treno] [Decrepit Streets] Chloe was weak. Injured and unable to walk, she groaned and looked up at the newcomers. “Help... him.” She pointed at Allen. “He's... hurt.” Then she passed out. [Wagon] Jason looked back at his mother and merely smirked at her. He didn't say a word, but did lean back and put his hands behind his head. He didn't want Melanie married to anyone, especially not Ryan. He liked Ryan, they were BIFFS... but it was because he knew Ryan that he didn't want Melanie anywhere close to him. Ever. [Gerudo Lighthouse] Sama nodded as Spork asked for cover, and he created twin fireballs and hurled them at the lizard! [The Highwind] "But there is, sir. There is. Yuna has told me...she seems to suspect that a person she's been searching for...IS Garnet." Auron frowned. “... I know that. That's why I'm going to ask Garnet to come with us to Spira. Yuna has planned it all along. You'll step in the way. I know you, and your opinions of our society. I respect you, Paladin, and your Order. I respect your conviction to your duty. Still, if you stand in Lady Yuna's way...” Auron turned and paused. “... I will stop you.” |

The Highwind Didymus listened as Auron spoke. "...but aren't we heading to the Cluster now...?" he wondered. At that moment, Garnet had a visitor, suddenly appearing on the ship. He could feel it, or was being told of it. Or both. Whatever the source that informed Paladins of these things, divine or otherwise, was getting his attention. And letting him know, something BAD was here. Very bad. At that very moment, he whirled, and sprinted. "Intruder." he said. He sprinted across the ship as fast as he could (perhaps rushing by Yuna and Rikku)! "What the-intruder?!" Rikku said to Yuna-kind of quietly, so Auron couldn't hear them. "How does he...is that...that's in the direction that Garnet went!" she said. |

The Highwind The Earl looked pleased. "Good, good! I was hoping you would answer in such a positive manner! ♥" He snapped his fingers, and a frame appeared in the air. On the frame was a... Well, it looked like a mechanical skeleton, almost. It was motionless and set into the frame, much like a new toy in a plastic container. The Earl walked up to it, and leaned in, hands displaying it as though advertising it. "This is a... Base, if you will. All you have to do is call out for the person you lost, and they will return to this body, which will then take the shape she had when she was still alive. All it takes... Is for you to speak her name..." Internally, the Earl was dancing in glee yet again. Another promise, and another victim. Humanity was surprisingly manipulatable, and in times of stress and depression, a human was capable of the most interesting deeds. Of murder. Of destruction. Of slaughter. Of torture. Of revenge. And Garnet was sunk in the very same pit that so many humans fell to. The Earl could just curse those infernal Exorcists and Paladins. While he DID manage to corrupt one Exorcist, he turned into a Fallen One, and ruined his problems. The Paladins, much more numerous, were as hard, but The Earl had one or two ex-Paladin victims who simply could not take the pressure of losing someone they loved. Not every human could. Something impacted wit the shield he put up on the door. Someone already arrived. The Earl knew it was that dratted Paladin again, but he knew he had time. The barrier would hold for enough time for him to complete it. "Now... Say her name... And she will return to you, embrace you in her arms..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Treno Allen was in a BAD way. He was bleeding internally out of his heart, he was glossy-eyed and he wasn't breathing. For all intents and purposes, Allen looked very, very dead. A fine mist slowly permeated the area, obscuring view and making it hard to see. As Lenalee ran over to the boy and kneeled beside him, another voice spoke from behind Krory, cold and careless. "Probably dead. Tch. I knew that beansprout would end up six feet under, and I expected him to snuff it sooner. It's a surprise he lived this long. And, just like all the rest of them, he was just food for the wolves. Stupid kid lost us an innocence fragment too." The newcomer was another exorcist. He, for it was a he as many would maybe claim otherwise, wore the robes in a slightly different manner to the other exorcists, and was definitely a swordsman. A katana hung on his side, ready to be drawn any second. And the long hair sometimes made it easy to mistake him for a girl, though don't say that to his face. He'd kill you. He looked around, paying careful attention to the mist, before walking over to the barrier and looking at the passed-out girl inside. With a sudden draw and a single word, "Mugen", he cut through the barrier like a hot knife through butter, dispelling it in a single cut. hen he sheathed his blade and walked away. "Come on, let's go. We have nothing else we need to do here." |

-Treno- Streets “But...he's still our friend!” Krory said to Kanda, “We should find him help...” Lenalee looked around at this strange mist about them. What was this? Something about it seemed...almost familiar. “Where can we bring him?” Lenalee asked, picking up Allen carefully, “Is there anything nearby?” She was ready to run to even Central if she needed to... Krory looked down at Chloe, “This woman also needs help...But it looks like she's still alive, thankfully...” -The Highwind- There totally wasn't a chicken with Marshal Cross's hat still on it's head in the room with The Earl and Garnet, watching, and wondering if one of these figures had some corn. -Gerudo Lighthouse- Sama gave Spork cover, and Spork slashed at the creature, creating a gash. The creature roared and hit Spork, sending him back into a wall. “Daddy!” Hammah yelled, looking worried. “I'm fine...keep hammering it!” Spork said, getting back up. |

Treno Kanda just gave a long-suffering sign before he turned to look at Krory. "He was never a friend of mine. Just another Exorcist. But now, you seem to be forgetting that his Innocence is GONE. Probably destroyed by the Noah by now. He has no more right to wear those robes, no more right to fight with us, because he CANNOT." He turned about and walked off. "Leave him and that girl here. If he crawls back to us, he can become a Finder, a place much better suited for a beansprout like him. As of right now, he is no longer OUR problem and we should continue on our mission to rid this place of the last of the Akuma and find the Noah." He turned his head, giving a glare to both his companions. "Don't forget that THAT is our primary goal. Not babysitting a little kid who lost the only thing that made him useful, and it most certainly ISN'T babysitting paladins." With those final words, he simply walked off, heading back to the remains of the field of battle between the group that escaped on the Highwind and the Akuma. His blade now in hand again, he began to scour the place, looking for any more of the nasty creatures. |

-Treno- Streets “Sigh...such impatience from the boy...Seems my work is never done.” Lenalee looked up, as an old woman with a pointed hat stared down at them. Sure, some other people she was...helping...were fighting right now, but she didn't like to fight unless she had to. Lenalee stiffened, staring at the hat, the black clothes... “The name's Weatherwax, and if you don't want your friend dying, follow me. I have a place I can put him. And bring the girl as well,” Weatherwax said, motioning to Chloe. Lenalee didn't move though, staring at the older woman. Only two kinds of people wore a pointed hat, generally. Wizards and witches... “Oh, thank you!” Krory said, trusting the woman, bending down to pick up Chloe, “This is a good change of luck, is it not?” |

Treno Cafe Sam smiled, getting hit by the ice spell in one of his burned areas...it would hurt him, but it would probably drastically slow the burn's deleterious growth. That, and the cold coming from the burn, and the judging by the size of the ice spell, it would probably stop smaller burns nearby...sure, he felt a bit numb, but he would be fine...right? He ran up to Vanitas...then paused, waiting for the Keyblade wielder to make a move. |

Wagon With everyone happy for the moment (except for the dead bandits on the ground which had been with Jason) the wagon set off again.... It continued on for awhile with no problems, an awkward silence in place the whole time. Every now and then Melanie would glance over to Galv and Kanna would glare at Rica or Jason...Both of which were probably glancing at her for entirely different reasons. After a few hours the arrived in a small town, a jumble of homes and eerie looking shops. Melanie was currently leaning against the window, asleep after a half hour into the trip....Kanna was watching out the window, familiar faces passing by. They were back home and would be approaching a large house, aged but still impressive enough. It seemed to be the epitome of eerie, the perfect setting for a murder. "We're home" Kanna announced loudly, waking up the others. |
