I'll bite your legs off!

Treno Didymus listened closely as Chloe made her speech, and nodded, half warily...and half approvingly. "Again, as concerned as I may be otherwise...I, at any rate, am glad of your company, Sister." It seemed people were getting ready to leave, and were in fact stepping out of the observatory. “Captain… I realize the Princess has many new bodyguards seeking to help her, but at the end of the day, you are the one with the most responsibility. Please guard our Princess, both her body and her mind.” Steiner nodded. "Fear not. A knight NEVER forgets his responsiblity! ...though I fear for our country...I know I do it a greater service here at the princess' side than those women leading its forces..." he said. It was clear that he had difficulty with that concept. Didymus didn't blame him, and shook his head, before looking to Garnet. "If you are ready, lady..." he said, trying to show sympathy, compassion, something to comfort her in his expression and tone. "Stay close, princess..." Steiner said. Didymus nodded. "If that is not too much to ask..." he added. Indeed, the two stayed close to her, as if to shield her by their very presence. Rikku paused. "Why is everyone so gloomy? Yunie, isn't this like a reunion for you or something? Even IF we have a bunch of really serious stuff going on, being all sad about it isn't gonna help, right?" she asked. Steiner shot her a look, and she stuck her tongue out at him again. Didymus was just glad that she was able to get a few sentances out without pestering him for his own past. Maybe he WOULD tell her...but he'd probably have to get her cousin to agree as well... The Paladin remained alert as they walked outside, aware of the looming threat. "Something is not right...be on your guard. Something is near..." As they advanced, he kept one hand on his sword's hilt... Central City, Amestris It was just another day of commotion in Central. Throughout that, though, Maes Hughes had just been relaxing. Mustang had gone away on a combat mission; so he was off. Just enjoying some family time. He stood there, currently watering his lawn, unaware that he was about to have some guests... |

[Treno] Garnet was as silent as she ever was, absently walking between Steiner and Didymus. She was grateful that they were both so eager to protect her. She wanted to express her thanks… but the words still refused to come. As the group walked down the street, Chloe felt even tenser. Vivi also seemed uncomfortable; he kept shivering. Zidane was whistling, as if he was completely fine at the moment, his tail twitching. Yuna walked over to Didymus. “… It has been a while.” She said quietly. [Central City] [Hughes House] Hughes did have guests. A tank rolled up onto his lawn, crushing some flowers and some tomato plants. Ed and Sheba were on the roof of the tank. Molly, Jordan, Winry and Alphonse were all inside. (Al was still broken.) “Major!” Ed called, jumping off the tank. He still wanted to talk to Sheba… he had offered to help her in return for her telling him what she knew about making a Philosopher’s Stone with elements instead of people. Right now, though… they were harboring fugitives. That wasn’t good. “We need a place to hide, can we use your house? Thanks Hughes, you’re the best!” Ed wasn’t as much ‘asking’ as he was ‘doing whatever he wanted’. Jordan, meanwhile, frowned and looked to Winry and Eva. “… What have I gotten myself into?” He whimpered. “Tell me about it.” Al’s head chimed in. Jordan wanted to cry. |

Treno Still tense, still maintaining his vigil, Didymus nodded to Yuna. “… It has been a while.” "Indeed it has." Rikku inched closer to them, grinning... "Is there something you wish to discuss?" he said. "I..." he hesitated. "I really DO want to catch up with you..." he said. "...but I fear it may not be the best time now..." "Of course it is!" Rikku said. "Look, we're out here in a big city. Even if it IS night, people are everywhere! If they see a bunch of people just walking all gloomy and silent, THAT is what will attract attention, right? If we're talking just like everyone else, we'll blend in!" Didymus paused. "...you know, that's actually a good point..." he said. "...still, I...something is near. I'm wary and tense. Perhaps it is best if I keep focused on scanning our surroundings, and asking for guidance." "Oh! Yunie, how do you have ANY history with someone this GLOOMY! He's like a younger, less prickish version of AURON!" "...should I..." Didymus said, then shook his head, and kept scanning their surroundings, asking for guidance...but quickly looked right at Yuna's mismatched eyes, and gave a sort of half-smile. "If you wish to talk, we can...but you'll have to pardon me if I'm not entirely focused on it..." With that, he resumed his "vigil" as they walked along. Central City, Amestris Hughes' house "M-MY GARDEN!" Ed quickly said something and Hughes stood there. "Hiding with a TANK?! If you want to hide, get that thing out of here! Who's that?! What have you boys gotten yourselves into?! What-" "Daddy? What was that loud sound?" a voice said from the house. "Elysia, um, go back inside! Daddy's got some work to take care of out here!" Hughes called. "Get that tank out of here and then get inside." he said. |

[Treno] Yuna gave a small sigh. It was difficult enough being in the midst of such an odd situation; but Rikku’s actions were not helping in the slightest. “Rikku, please, now is not the time for this conversation.” Yuna pleaded with her cousin, her usually dignified voice faltering a bit. She had a cold shiver spinning down her spine, and Yuna was on edge. “… Now is not a good time to catch up,” She looked to Didymus. “I feel it too… we’re being watched. I cannot say by what, but…” Yuna paused. “Someone.” “Or something.” Chloe piped in, her hand on the hilt of her sword. [Central City] [Hughes’ House] Ed frowned, and flushed when he heard Elysia. He had not thought this plan through… like most of his plans. “Major, please,” Ed begged him, now looking serious. “We’re in a bad situation right now. I don’t even know all the details myself, but… we have to hide out so that the military doesn’t find us.” Yes, he knew a tank would be hard to hide… but they were looking for a operational tank… “Sorry Winry!” Ed called. He climbed up the tank, got inside, and walked over to Al. “Sorry for what?” Winry asked, suddenly fearing for her tank. Ed clapped his hands, touched Alphonse’s broken body, and then the tank. He used some of the metal from the tank to repair Al – but at the cost of weakening the tank. “Edward!” Winry complained. “It’s for Al.” Ed stated, his voice serious. Winry bit her lip, and nodded. Soon, the group (and Jordan, who was still freaked out and felt like everything was moving too quickly) were standing in front of Hughes. “… Mr. Hughes! Hello! Is Elysia here? Oh, Molly, you have to meet Elysia!” Winry beamed, forgetting their woes for a moment. Ed and Al looked to Hughes, and then to one another, and they nodded. “We have a problem…” |

-Central- Woods Galv smirked slightly, “I don't even know what my family is...” He sighed slightly. It seemed like Melanie was just confirming that Galv had no family. “...What else do you see?” he wondered though, still finding himself curious. Besides, it meant she was holding his hand still... Hughes' House “Thank you very much!” Jenna said, nodding to Hughes as Ed talked to him, heading inside with the others. Sheba paused, waiting outside...Probably reading Hughes' mind. -Treno- Cafe “Neither are you,” Roxas said, glaring at the man, “What do you want?” He was itching to fight...the Chaos in him bubbling up. “Roxas, please...he hasn't done anything, calm down...” Namine, the only one at that table who wasn't cursed in some way, said. Roxas frowned, but he didn't calm down. Alleyway “...I can help you, I suppose,” Weatherwax said, “But I will not fight this Xehanort. He's someone else's foe. But when it comes down to it...it will be your friends' choice.” Cess just nodded slightly, glancing to Shimera and Cess, wondering what they would say. Streets Rincewind and The Luggage followed the others, the wizard looking worried still. Maybe he could make a break for it? He paused, frowning. No...Veterni would find him... Kairi seemed worried about something too, as she and Sora followed the others as well. Sora was glad to be going somewhere near home. -Wagon- “We should all probably get some rest...” Spork said, propping his sword against the wall of the wagon, “And don't touch my sword, please.” He yawned leaning back for now and closing his eyes. I have nothing here, so they can arrive whenever. |

Treno Alleyway Sam closed his eyes, sniffling a bit. She won't fight him...and that's understandable why...I just want her safe now... His brown eyes opened with a nod. "...Understood...give us proof so we can give her proof so that she can come back, please. The more brief, the more easy, the more proof, the better. We need anything and everything we can get, but we need to keep it short and choppy." |

Treno Rikku pouted. "Fine! But when we're surrounded by people staring at us because of how gloomy and quiet we're being, don't look at me!" she said. Didymus nodded. "Of course. But we'll talk later, at any rate, if you wish. I..." Shoot. He had started to say it. May as well let it out. "...I'd like that. Besides, a lot has clearly happened in the intervening years...so, um, till the airship, then?" Rikku was grinning again. Didymus nodded again when Chloe chimed in. "Indeed, Sister." Both Paladins had their hands on the hilts of their swords, and Didymus returned to his "vigil". Central City, Amestris Hughes' House Hughes sighed. "Alright, boys fine, if you can...but first, that tank...if there's nothing more you can do about it...just get inside..." He facepalmed. He was used to this from Mustang, but with Ed he at least hoped... ...okay, maybe he expected this from Ed as well. He didn't seem to notice who or what Jordan was. Of course, they didn't dress to broadcast who they were, to the contrary, actually, so that's really not surprising. Of course, whether or not this would change, we'll see. |

[Central] [Hughes’ House] Ed wanted nothing more than to ask Sheba more about the Philosopher’s Stone she mentioned… but at the same time, he decided it was probably not a very good idea to bring that subject up in front of Hughes. “Things got… complicated.” Ed admitted, also thinking he should refrain from admitting that Jordan was the man who killed General Grumman. Of course, Ed did not realize Grumman was the new Fuhrer… Then, a car pulled up. The back door opened. Mustang stepped out, followed by Hawkeye and Havoc. He strode over, taking note of the tank, and soon approached Hughes and Ed. “… Hughes! What the hell is going on?” Mustang demanded. “Why is there a TANK in your yard, why is Fullmetal here, and why aren’t you at the office?” “It is Major Hughes’ day off, sir. He usually spends this day with his family.” Hawkeye reminded him. Mustang sighed, rubbing his temple. “Oh… right… Maes, we have to talk… Fullmetal, whatever you’re doing, just… don’t cause trouble right now.” [Treno] [Streets] “… We could strike so easily, now.” “No. Not now.” Two figures, wearing black cloaks and hoods, were watching the group from the shadows. They were well hidden, and would not be found. “Why not?” One asked in an effeminate voice. “It would be so~oo simple…” “No.” The other replied, firmly. “The Earl is planning something. His minions are following them now. We would be wiser to wait, and watch, and see if they are really as good as they appear to be.” […] “You all talk too much.” Auron finally stepped into the conversation. “We don’t need to blend in with some trite conversation; we need to hurry and leave Treno.” [Café] Marisha sniffed again, and looked at Namine. She smelled… human. He loved the smell of humans… and the taste. To say he wasn’t tempted was a lie – but Kxs was a werewolf, and she smelled familiar. He wondered… was it possible that she…? “… What I want,” He looked at Roxas. “Is simply to know what’s going on. It’s not every day I get to meet… others like me.” He flashed a diabolical grin. [Wagon] Sama nodded. “Rest… sounds good.” He prompt dropped down onto the floor, his hands under his head. Sleeping on the floor of a wagon wasn’t very comfortable… and he doubted he would actually ever drift to sleep… but he would rest, and hope. ((I’ll have them arrive in my next post. :3)) |

Treno Didymus actually grinned, slightly, at Auron's comment. "Blending in may have its boons, but yes, we must go." He nodded to Yuna, and, for a moment, saw if he could meet Garnet's gaze, before continuing to be vigilant, asking as usual for guidance as they made their way to the airship hangar. Central City, Amestris Hughes' House Hughes was concerned by Ed's "things got complicated" response, but before he could even usher him inside, Mustang was there. “Oh… right… Maes, we have to talk… Fullmetal, whatever you’re doing, just… don’t cause trouble right now.” "Um, knowing that boy...well, whatever. Look, everyone just...come inside. Okay? Roy, you can deal with it if they ask questions about why there's a TANK in my lawn, right?" he asked. |

Treno Bookman, tired of waiting, grabbed Lavi by the ear (considering he stood just below the boy's chest at top height, this was a rather impressive feat), and dragged the complaining Lavi along. Allen immediately followed, motioning the others to do the same. Heading down the street quickly, Bookman made haste towards one of the shadier taverns in town. However, they were not alone. The girl with the umbrella, previously simply just standing there, followed silently behind the group, trailing them without being noticed. She kept to the shadows and away from their sight, following them towards their goal. Bookman stepped into the tavern, a small place called the "Stale Goat", and a place that smelled quite as bad as it looked like from the outside. A frequent place for the most shady of characters, everyone immediately looked at the old man as he entered, the patronage mostly consisting of rather bulky-looking, shifty men and a few tattered and ragged-looking barmaids. Bookman ignored them all, heading right for the counter where he was looked over by the barman, a rather ugly, fat sort of character with a chipped lip. The man only had to look for a few seconds before pointing out back. Bookman nodded quickly and headed out the back door, much to the complaints of the other patrons, trailing the rest of the group behind him. Out back, the building led down a staircase towards what looked like some sort of old, decrepit shrine built in honor of some long-fallen warrior. It was obvious that someone WAS here, judging by the pack in the corner and the few items littered about and a chair standing right in front of the shrine. However, no one was there... Except for a chicken on the chair, a chicken wearing a large, black hat with golden trimming, a chicken that stood right next to an empty bottle of fine wine and a half-full glass of said wine. On the back of the chair was a traveling cloak that was still swaying, as though ruffled by someone that just disappeared from there. Bookman stopped... And Allen couldn't help but look at the chair and turn his expression completely deadpan. "He skipped out... Didn't he..." Bookman growled. "That irresponsible fool! What does he think he is doing with this sort f trick? We could have been in the air by now, heading away from this place!" A voice suddenly interrupted him. "A fool he may have been... But an idiot, he never was. Greetings, gentlemen. I was hoping to find Marshall Cross as well, but it seems that he has decided to skip out on all of us. And I SO looked forward to meeting him." The man the group previously met on the road, the finely, impeccably-dressed man with wild hair and a top hat stepped out, looking as carefree and careless as ever. "Eeeey-eh. And here I was hoping for a good sort of meeting with the Marshall..." Allen looked confused as he watched this man, but then he noticed the second figure... And his face hardened as he watched the very girl that was trailing them step out from behind the man and speak. "Don't worry, Tyki! The Marshall wasn't our target anyways! Leave him to those two incompetent fools that still think Cross is somewhere in Alexandria." Allen't arm whipped to the side, his eye activating almost instinctively as the arm extended as well. "Road." The girl smirked, looking all too smug. "Aww, no kind words for a meeting here, Allen? But we were SUCH good friends before! Remember? What happened with that woman, Miranda, and that Lenalee girl? She made a WONDERFUL doll, you know." Allen couldn't help but growl in return, growing ever more agitated. "What do you want, Road?" The girl just licked her lollipop and gave a downright cutesy face in return. "What, you don't know? I just wanted to see you again, Allen. And under such circumstances, our meeting couldn't be better. Ooooi, Tykiii. Can I play with Allen for a little while?" The man beside her just sighed. "I suppose. Just don't take too long. We are here for a reason after all." He jumped off of the small ledge he was standing on, coming to stand between the group and he exit back through the back door of the seedy bar. "Now... If you would please hand over the princess, would you? And let's make this a non-confrontational thing, all right? Though the rude lady over there who will never gain a husband couldn't take less of my care, I still don't want any trouble. So if the princess goes with us..." He tipped the hat slightly, shadowing his eyes. "... You all might live through the day to tell the tale." |

Treno He drew his sword the moment they were in the room with the...well, the chickens. "We should get out of here. Either that, or the shadow that is here should be dealt with..." When foes emerged from the shadows and began making their speeches...Didymus was not surprised. He was suspecting that something may happen; all they really did was confirm his suspicions. He was quiet, head bowed, as his sword began to shine... "Lady Garnet remains with us..." he said. Steiner nodded, his own sword out. "...stay behind us, lady..." Didymus said. Without looking at Chloe, he spoke to her. "Come, Sister...in His name." he said, bringing up his blade. |

[Treno] In the small, empty shrine room the group did not find Master Cross. It brought disappointment to Garnet’s face, as she had hoped to see the man once more, and find out what was so important. Then came the bad faces. Tyki, the same man they had seen before. Chloe felt a surge of panic at the sight. She knew he was trouble. This time, he sword was in her hands, and she looked up at the odd man. “Stay back! You shall not come anywhere near the Princess!” Chloe also ran forward. She didn’t say anything, but she moved in step with Didymus, raising her sword and coming at Tyki for a strike! Vivi panicked. He held up his hands, and instinctively fired a lightning bolt at the strange woman who was with the strange man! Yuna moved so that she was next to Garnet. She held her staff strong, and Auron moved in front of her. They were playing defense. [Central] [Hughes’ House] Mustang felt a migraine coming on. He turned to Havoc. “… if anyone shows up, they don’t touch the tank, or anyone inside. Consider that a direct order.” Havoc saluted. “Yes, sir! Guard duty, nice and easy, just how I like it.” He lit a cigarette, walked over and leaned against the tank. Mustang, meanwhile, turned to Hughes. "Um, knowing that boy...well, whatever. Look, everyone just...come inside. Okay? Roy, you can deal with it if they ask questions about why there's a TANK in my lawn, right?" Roy’s smirk almost looked like it might break the sides of his face. Sure, he was confused and angry at Fullmetal, but right now he had to indulge in a little bragging. “I guess you didn’t hear… Maes, I did it. I’m Fuhrer. This country is mine.” Ed, meanwhile, approached Sheba. “I wanted to talk to you… about what you said… creating a stone with elements. Please, tell me whatever you know.” Luckily he had missed Roy’s announcement, or he’d be on the floor crying. |

Treno The lightning bolt Vivi fired in desperation headed right for its target, striking straight and true. It looked like it was going to make a perfect impact, and down one of the opponents. The girl, however, simply raised the umbrella and the lightning bolt struck it instead. The umbrella was then electrocuted... And cried out in pain. "Hey! Miss Road, that wasn't very nice!" Road just swung the umbrella around with a bored look, letting the voice carry on a few times, getting the umbrella dizzy. The little pumpkin head on the tip of the umbrella cried out a few more times before its voice became woozy. The girl scoffed then. "Be quiet, Lero, I'm having fun here." The man in the top hat, Tyki, gave another sigh, putting a hand to the top of his top hat. He looked... disappointed. "Are you really sure you want to do this?" Allen stepped forward, the massive clawed arm to one side. Beside him, Lavi finally got over the surprise, and also settled into a stance, pulling out a tiny hammer from a hip pouch under his robe. "Big Hammer, Little Hammer... GROW!" The hammer expanded to several times its size, enlarging to something that could easily be used in battle. Even Bookman looked ready to fight, pulling out a scroll. Tyki gave another heavy sigh. "So hostile... Oh well, I should have expected as much. Looks like we're not going to have this easy. Road, feel free to play all you want, just don't forget what we're supposed to do." He stepped forward... And looked up from beneath his hat, but his face was no longer human. Instead of normal skin, his skin turned gray, almost pitch-black, his eyes wide, his grin widening beyond limitations of human muscles and skin, forming a creepy, nightmarish look. "This is going to be fun, I think. Don't disappoint me." |

-Central- Hughes' House “...The Golden Sun...” Sheba said, after a few moments, reading a few more surface thoughts of these new people. She was trying to learn as much of this strange land as possible. “It's said to be an object of power, created when the powers of Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars combine...Legends say that it could bring the world to ruin. But legends say that about a lot of things,” Sheba answered, “There are four objects...the Elemental Stars. If they are brought together, and combined together, then they will create the Golden Sun. It's said it can bring one back to life, control the elements, even for non Adepts...” Sheba frowned, “Three of them are in the hands of a Mercury Adept known as Alex...He's an enemy...One of them though, we have it...Not Jenna and I, but one of our friends...Not sure where they are right now though...” -Treno- Decrepit Shrine Sora held up his hand, his Keyblade appearing in a flash of light. “I don't know who these creeps are, but we can take them! There's only two of them after all...” Sora said, holding his weapon up. Kairi took a step back, preparing some support magic. Rincewind was trying to hide under the table, while The Luggage scuttled forward, quite willing to try and eat one of the Noah. The chicken merely scratched the table, seemingly unworried. Sora jumped forward, slashing at Tyki! Alleyway “I don't have any proof besides what I know,” Weatherwax said, “Which is all I've ever needed. Treno Tyki waited as Sora attacked, his hand still on his hat, maniacal look in place, looking as creepy as anything can look, the shadows around him only enhancing the effect. As Sora came in for a strike, the keyblade rushing downward to a hit, Tyki moved. And moved beyond anything like Sora had fought to date. First came the strike to the side of the keyblade, moving it out of range. The second strike, instantly coming after the first, smashed into the boy's right hand across the fingers... And the third smashed the boy in the side, blasting him THROUGH the stone wall on the left. Before Sora even impacted with the wall, Tyki was already in Allen's face, having moved over 60 feet in just a fraction of a second, the white-haired boy's eyes opening wide in surprise as Tyki struck, sending him flying backwards and crashing hard into the shrine. Lavi reacted with a hammer swing, a reflexive strike that almost connected, but the dark man simply blocked the large hammer with one hand and squeezed, a cracking sound filling the air as the hammer began to crumble. Thankfully, he didn't do as much damage as he wanted as Bookman came at him from behind, the scroll in his hands unrolling and sending a wave of needles at the man. Tyki not one to be on the receiving end, moved again, vanishing from his spot and leaving Lavi to contend with a wave of flying needles as the man in the top hat appeared in front of Chloe with a raised hand, fingers pointed as if going to pierce right through whatever guard or armor she was going to put up. ![]() Now becomes the the past in an instant — and everyone will eventually die! Destiny triumphs over human knowledge and goes mad! That is the way of things! I spit upon this frail, crazed, world! I spit upon the Second Law of Thermodynamics! ~ Desty Nova, Karmatron Theory Let them Label me! Let them swear and curse at me as I tug humanity like a bucking bull into the darkness of the unknown, revealing its secrets to the sane and driving them MAD! In ages long past, I shall be looked upon as a tyrant and a savior! As a savant and as a fool! My work shall advance humanity long past its time, throw it into the unknown future and force it to grow strong or FALL! Years from now, when I will inevitably be removed, my work shall continue to progress, because these things cannot be denied! Governments will publicly criticize my work, but privately conduct research that advances it! I shall imprint myself into the annals of history, among the stars that shine as brightly as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Dmitri Mendeleev, Nikola Tesla, and countless others! My work will shine as brightly as any star, and I AM ITS CREATOR!!! ~ Desty Nova, Morality
