K Tower

"Woah, now where am I?" ES asked, searching his surroundings.

He walked up next to Avenger.

"You're at the K Tower," Avenger told ES, "We normally crash at Sporky's lab, but their are certain circumstances tonight."

Meanwhile, with Hammah!

“Well you dad is still kinda a baddie so we can't just trust him right off the bat. We need you to do a bit of snooping to see what he wants out of this.”

Hammah paused, thinking this over.

What did The Professor want from that anyways? He knew that his creator consider Rowen an ally, of sorts. Maybe The Professor really did want to turn good!

“Okay…I’ll try…” Hammah said, thinking it over, “But he might see what I’m trying to do.”

He got up, and headed out, looking for The Professor…

The Couch!

“Hey…Professor…?” Hammah wondered, taking a seat on the couch next to Spork, who was staring at the blank TV intently, as if trying to will it on. Being a Custard-I, he could in fact do that.

“Yes Hammah?” Spork asked, glancing over to his creation, “Something on your mind?”

“Well…I was kinda wondering…Errr…Why are you helping mom make Rowen good again?” he blurted out. He wasn’t one who could ease into that stuff.

Spork smiled, “Let me guess…Crystal asked you to find out what my motives were?”

“Errr…yah…”

“Tell your mother that if she wants to know, she should ask in person,” Spork answered with a chuckle.

Hammah sweat dropped, “Can’t I get a hint? I’d like to know too…I mean…what do you stand to gain?”

“I’ll tell you later Hammah.”

The clone sighed, shaking his head and heading back to Crystal Rose’s and Tazzy’s room.

“Ummm…mom…?” Hammah said, walking back in with a frown, “He said that if you want his reasons, you should ask him yourself…”

K Tower

As Rowen dove down, one of Sama's sabers -- the blue one -- flew into his hand by the Flan and he brought it up, active in a split second, to block the attack.

Sama is goofy and clumsy, we all know that -- but he is also a highly-trained warrior. He jumped back a few feet. Had this been a real battle, he probably would have just blasted some lightning -- but it was raining and he didn't want to actually harm Rowen.

Rose resisted the urge to slap her palm to her forhead....Hammah only did what she asked afterall...But he could have done it a bit more sneakily....She offered him a smile and stood up.

"I guess that means I gotta ask" she said with sigh, inviting the others to follow her as well. Walking down the hall she wondered how she was going to go about this....She suposed she she be blunt.

When she arrived back in the living room of the tower she noticed the Professor sitting on the couch. She came up behind it, leaning over slightly.

"I don't think Hammah is very good at being sneaky"

“He really isn’t. He can’t lie either,” Spork answered, “The only thing he’s somewhat sneaky about is when he hides his Christmas presents to everyone.”

He glanced over at her, “So you want to know why I’m helping you? Can’t a guy just be nice now and then?”

"You would think a bad guy would at least teach his son how to be sneaky" Crystal mused

“So you want to know why I’m helping you? Can’t a guy just be nice now and then?”

"Yeah, but you don't get that benefit of the doubt automatically, especially after talking to Tazzy....So what do you get from turning one of you allies to the good side?"

Spork sighed, leaning back in the couch and glancing up to the ceiling.

“Now, if I really was doing this for evil purposes, what would stop me from lying? I could easily keep up a façade, pretending to be good, and then backstab you all when the time came. I have the patience. I put up with Avenger, after all.

“But, I’m not exactly doing this for evil purposes. I admit, there are a few reasons this would work for me. For one, it would help destabilize L.A.S.O.O.F., making it easier for T.H.E.M. to come into power. Additionally, Rowen is, whether he admits it or not, deeply connected to his friends and family. If he became good again, he would want to see CHoW become good again as well. That leads to further destabilization of L.A.S.O.O.F. and less evil competition for T.H.E.M.

“It would also keep eyes off of me, allowing me for time to do what I wanted to do. Those are benefits that would go for me if this was for evil…”

He chuckled, then glanced back over to Crystal Rose, “Maybe I just happen to like you.”

“I am quite capable of good things. And believe it or not, I use to technically have two hearts,” Spork said, glancing to the hallway, where Rachel and Hammah were hiding, attempting to listen in. “I had my own and my sister’s…But I gave her back her’s…”

He sighed, “There is one other thing I should tell you. It has to do with what I’m doing for you, and it involves evil, but there’s no way around it…

“In order to change Rowen back to normal, the Darkness that has festered in him needs to be removed. My lab is currently assembling a device that should do just that, but…”

He wavered, thinking, but continued, “I don’t have anything that can contain what will be taken out. That leaves you with two options…

“One,” Spork continued, holding up a finger, “Simply release it. However, this would undoubtedly create some sort of dark creature that would wreak havoc, and considering what one can feel in Rowen’s Heart, it would very powerful…And there’s no guarantee it will appear here. Might reappear elsewhere and attack wherever that is…

“Or the second option,” two fingers now, “Is to seal it in someone’s Heart…I know this is possible…”

He patted his chest, where his own Heart was, “I have, sealed in my Heart, something that tried to take over my sister, and nearly succeeded. Some sort of Darkness... And believe me, if you thought I was evil without that unsealed…”

Spork trailed that sentence off, glancing to the side, “The second option is the one with the highest success rate for Rowen, provided his own Darkness isn’t sealed inside his own Heart. That would most likely reverse what you’re trying to do.

“But again, I stress, this is your decision to make. I’ll help you however I can. You’ll need me and my Keyblade if you choose the second option…”

LASOOF HQ

CHoW was fuming. He sat in the darkness of his private room, his shoulder wrapped in bandages. He couldn't figure out what happened before. Was it part of the plan? Had Rowen simply overdone it? Or, was he betrayed by his best friend?

Suddenly, to CHoW's amazement, several floating orbs appeared all around him. Each orb was like a television screen, and each showed a different scene. One was the sparring between Rowen and Sama, another the conversation between Crystal and the Professor, while yet another showed Avenger and ES talking.

"What the heck?" CHoW stood up. "Did I get new surveillance equipment?"

"No, you simpleton. I'm providing the show."

CHoW turned to see a tall man with dark black hair and eyes that were a glow like rubies. He was walking in the shadows around the outside of the room. CHoW's hand edged toward his saber, but the man laughed.

"You don't need to worry. I'm not here to hurt you... I'd say Rowen did a good enough job of that."

CHoW glared. "Who are you?"

"What an excellent question... but I have a better one: Why does it matter?" The man asked.

"What?" CHoW was confused.

"As you can see, I'm able to show you the private interaction between your enemies. They have no way of knowing what I'm doing, and no power -- be it Flan, Custard, technological or spiritual -- can detect what I'm doing. Given the value of that, do you really care who I am?"

CHoW paused as he thought about it. He looked at Rowen on the orb and sighed. "I... guess not. But tell me this! Are you evil?"

"Evil? Please, my dear helmet-head, we are all evil. We are also all good. For that reason, it's stupid to call myself one or the other."

"Spare me the philosophy!" CHoW barked.

"Philosophy, dear sir, is all I am. Ask yourself, CHoW... when you attack Teh City with a space station and turn buildings into meat -- does it cause a panic?"

CHoW rubbed the back of his helmet. "Well... a little..."

"WRONG!" The man yelled loudly. "There are only two truths in this world. One of them is 'Order'. You see, 'Order' is the reason people live on Rapid Island. They know that no matter how dangerous a villain may become, it is part of the plan. And a hero is there to stop them."

He continued. "I dislike Order. It's predictable and boring. Hah... Look at them." He seemed to change his conversation topic as he looked at the orbs.

"They're all such fools. Rowen is conflicted by his loyalties to you, and the strange feeling of acceptance he's gotten from the Flan-I. He can't reconcile the two. It created the second truth in him.

"The Professor believes he understands the balance of light and darkness. He thinks he can 'seal' darkness, or remove it from a person entirely. That idea creates the second truth in him."

"Is this going somewhere?" CHoW asked.

The man ignored him and continued. "Crystal is conflicted as well. She wants to see the battles end. To see Rowen, and the Professor, and even you all officially become 'good'. Yet she is conflicted, because you've all done so much 'evil' in the past. That conflict creates the second truth in her.

And Sama... he's full of optimism. He believes that no matter how bleak things may become, or how much darkness may cloud the light, in the end, everything will work out just fine. That good triumphs over evil. That childish view of the world causes him pain when things do not 'work out'. That creates the second truth in him."

"This is getting really annoying!" CHoW hissed. "What 'second truth'?"

The man stopped, and he grinned. "CHAOS, my dear fellow! Chaos is the second truth! The opposite of Order! Chaos is when things happen that are not in the plan. Deception! Betrayal! Destruction! These are the ingredients of perfect chaos!"

CHoW blinked. "Riiiiiiiiight.... say, crazy man, how'd you get in here, anyway?"

"I am a chaotic wind! I blow into Teh City and destroy the Order! Leaving sweet, sweet Chaos in it's place. CHoW, mark my words... when I am done, nothing shall ever be the same."

CHoW stepped forward. "So, let me see if I understand... you want to basically screw up everybody's lives, make everything chaotic and everyone miserable?"

"Yup."

"... Alright, I'm in." CHoW shrugged -- which was painful, given his shoulder. He winced and then said: "So, what do I call you...?"

". . . I am --"

[Jes setting up my plans. :D I have been wanting to introduce this guy for a while.]

The K Tower

Crystal Rose listened to the Spork explain the situation and their potential options from her spot behind the couch, only moving to take a seat as he began talking about the destination of all the darkness.

Well the first option was out....Crystal couldn't imagine letting free that much badness and letting it wreak havoc on Teh City. She was a good guy afterall....It was their job to catch the evil not let it out.

As for the second option....Crystal Rose shivered slightly and stared out one of the many windows of the tower. She didn't really like this choice either. It just didn't seem right. Putting Rowen's evil in someone else's heart? Naturally her first thought was to who it would go to....She wondered what would happen if she took it.

Crystal Rose shivered once more. Crystal wasn't afraid of much...But this just sounded plain scary.

"I dunno" Crystal admitted after a few moments of thinking. "What will happen to that person if darkness if sealed inside them? Will they turn bad then?"

"What will happen to that person if darkness if sealed inside them? Will they turn bad then?"

“That depends,” Spork answered truthfully, “I only know of one person who’s done it before…Me…and before you jump to conclusions, that’s not what made me as you consider evil. I admit, it certainly didn’t hinder it, but it’s not the deciding factor…

“What it depends on is how strong the person’s Heart is, I believe. Mine’s was strong enough to take what was in my sister…It could change a person, but that depends, again, on who they are…”

Crystal looked over to the Spork, chocolate eyes watching him intently as he continued to explain. So depending on how strong the person was depended on what happened to them?

"....If I were to take it" Crystal started hesistantly "What do you think I would be allright?"

She didn't want to sound selfish but she wasn't she she wanted to take it...She didn't want to become bad.

Of course it is for Rowen.....

Rowen grinned as the sparring began. The Flan-I was quick despite his goofy exterior. Rowen ignited his other blade and started to quickly flurry his blades back and forth, his saber a blur of motion.

The Flan-I was quick, but he was quicker. Rowen smiled as his flurry continued, he sprung forward very quickly towards Sama.

Outside Teh Towah

Jaguar B finally flew in front of Teh Towah. He stopped.

I could take this place. Perhaps a hostage, or hostages will make me give Baily her necklace. He thought to himself, lauging to himself.

"AH HA! There you are!" A robotic voice yelled.

Jaguar B turned around.

Bai-ko-chan was floating in the air, her arms crossed, frowing at him.

"Too late, Bai-ko!" He sneered, and dashed inside the K Towah.

Bai-ko just rolled her eyes, transformed in Baily, then walked over to Teh Doors.

She opened them, and walked inside.
