Zoness Facility All around Jagan was quiet, for the moment. Well, that wasn't true. Mechanical sounds and mysterious whispering could be heard all around him. It seemed that something had indeed occured in the facility-something had, in fact "woken" it-or at least some parts of it. For now he was allowed to lie on the floor in relative peace, but who knew how long that would last... --- The...things...in front of Mari DID slow down...and many fell to her rifle, though not instantly, and some even got back up, marching towards her as fast as they could with hungry intent... Sonic smashed into one, and bore through both machine...and flesh. Others threw themselves at Sonic, attempting to overwhelm him and either pry off or pierce his armor! "HUNGRY!!!!" some cried. "Kill...me..." cried another. Rei's helpless position sprawled on the floor was doing her no favors. One of the creatures, clearly enraged by the sight of her, lunged, sharpened claws and hungry mouth ready to tear into her. "REEEE-VEEEEEEEEENGGGEEEEE!" it cried, as several others did the same, lunging at Rei! The blast of energy from Fox's ring blew through one of the things, and Fox would have been able to see parts of both machine and flesh scatter. Others were knocked down, but got up and kept stumbling or running towards him! Several threw themselves at his barrier, attempting to claw a hold into it, at which point they would surge with energy themselves, attempting to overload and shatter it! --- "I believe you are..." Didymus said, in response to Asuka, "...willing to say things you think need to be said in order to make me drop and forget about issues you wish me to ignore and not discuss with you." "And there certainly is virtue in not listening to arguments of morality from one's foes...but it's difficult for me to do that, sometimes, when the arguments they make don't have their potential credibility tied up with our struggle, but stand on their own. But-" In front of them, the same things attacking Mari, Sonic, Fox, and Rei (Jagan had escaped them for the moment) appeared, and began running/shambling towards them! "Weapons free! Light 'em up!" Didymus called, raising his own rifle and opening up, knocking down one, with a burst, blowing another's head off, and moving through targets. He briefly suspected that both his companions would be relieved by this event, despite the horrifying nature of their targets. --- The image walked towards the window as Gendo scanned it, turning its back on him and looking at the evangelion in the hangar, more lights and machinery in said hangar beginning to hum and whir online... The results of the scan were quite clear. This image was a hologram being projected in this room. "My research notes are in that folder on the table in front of you...husband...please...the details are there. But in short, the final touch is the insertion of the...controlling personality." Yui said. Edited by The Vidit of Light, Sep 13 2016, 08:33 PM.

-The Spork- The ship detached from the space station, sliding away from it and boosting up, Hammah seeing another ship detach and fly away, angling away from their own ship. “That must be Locust...” Hammah said, frowning as the ship jumped once it was clear of the gas giant. Hammah sighed, getting his own ship free, then turned back to look at the others. “...Well... that was an experience. Is everyone alright?” Hammah asked, “What happened with you two?” -Zoness Facility- Sonic kept moving, using his speed to dodge attacks, relying on his armor to block any he might miss, along with augmenting his strength to slash and punch and kick the enemies around him. “Hey, girl with glasses, take a deep breath!” Sonic yelled, then started to run around the walls, ceiling, and floor, making a vortex! Fox focused, sending out a blast of green energy from the beings attacking him, pulling out his blaster and shooting several of them before he dashed to the side, firing with both his blaster and Green Lantern ring. Omega pulled up his left hand, a gatling gun appearing and firing into the mass of targets. If they got close, he would switch to his laser sword, using his sheer strength to cut through them. |

-Haven- Melanie frowned, staring at Lily. The girl mentioned that she didn't have to tell Galv but it really wasn't that simple. Melanie knew from past experiences that lying to Galv was pointless....And so was trying to keep a secret from him- especially one this big. But of course her other option was to tell him and face the guarenteed awkwardness forever. "What choice do I have?" Melanie mumbled, looking to the side. She could still feel her cheeks burning "Are you leaving before they get back?" |

-Hawkins' House- “I... don't know... Especially depending on when Galv returns home...” Lily said, “Ugh... I think we have some time to-” The door opened, and in stepped Galv, who glanced around at the two. “Oh, hey,” Galv said, not picking up on the awkwardness. “I'm back.” |

-Hawkins' House- “Oh, hey, I'm back.” Instantly Melanie stiffened, the entire room plunging into a terrible state of awkwardness. The girl's face turned even more red as she gave Lily a slightly panicked look before turning to Galv. "G-Galv! Hi! H-How did sparring with your uncle g-go?" Instinctively Melanie moved forward, kissing the boy without really thinking about it....Of course mid kiss is when her brain actually processed the awkwardness. Augh, this was gonna be baaaaaad. |

[The Spork] Sama sighed as he collapsed into one of the chairs, running his hand through his hair. “We ran into nutso. He was tough. I've fought a lot of really skilled people before, but he was definitely top tier. If we're going after this guy we'd better be very careful.” Kimi scoffed as she walked over and leaned against the wall. “Sounds like you f*cked up. Big shock.” [Zoness Facility] Rei could feel it coming at her, and she rolled to the side, barely evading the creature's hungry claws. She sat up and her eyes burst with energy as she grabbed the creature in a psychic hold and tossed it backwards. Then she winced painfully. The reestablished link with Jagan made it more painful to her her ability, at least at the moment. […] Asuka opened fire, the bullets from her rifle hitting the monsters ahead of them and exploding with bright, white flames. White Phosphoric rounds that would burn and burn until the chemicals exploded from the bullet burned out. Even being completely submerged in water wouldn't stop the biting flames. […] Gendo slowly approached the folder. Then he glanced up at the hologram. “And have you found a pilot that can control it?” |

[Zoness Facility] Jagan spent a minute or so completely motionless and limp. The headache was killing him, thought it was finally getting to more manageable levels. No, it was other information that kept him busy. He was finally getting more than just random noise through the link, but it was sporadic. Like getting a broken transmission through white noise, and it was distracting him. He needed to focus on something else, or he'd be stuck there for a while. Finally, with his headache manageable and his thoughts finally getting back in line, he shifted, slowly getting up and leaning against a nearby wall. This place was entirely dark, so he couldn't see well beyond a small circle of light cast by the hole he made above him. This was one of the main cargo haul shafts used to bring large materials from outside the facility to its central laboratories. When not in use, it was mostly unpowered and unlit, and that meant he was almost in pitch darkness. thankfully, he wasn't hearing any sounds around him. the dark also helped a bit, since he was pretty sure if he saw anything, his vision would be swimming right now. But he needed to get his head into gear and continue the mission. Rei... Rei was here, and he reconnected to her, but she was smart. He made an exit for the ones fighting above, if things went bad, they could follow. And he had a mission to complete. Finally, he grasped the pistol he held, clicked a button on the handle and saw a pulse of red from his left. Retrieving the red light, his second firearm, he switched on both of the built-in flashlights and finally took a look around. There wasn't anything around him, so he started to move cautiously towards the distant sealed doors to the inner chambers and labs of this facility... |

Zoness Facility As Sonic continued to fight tear through the abominations, he found himself in a clearing, as they slowly shambled away from him. Suddenly, he would feel a constriction, something holding him in place...and something about its grip felt...unnatural. Thus affected, the cyborg terrors threw themselves at him again en mass, from all sides, clawing, biting, wailing, some with electrified or plasma-coated claws... Fox's own Green Lantern energy was taking its toll on their numbers as well, though his blaster less so. As he continued to weave, however, slowly, slowly, some force was working against him, in the heat of battle, in brief moments of pause where he had some space between himself and his foes... ...his ring was slowly being worked towards the edge of his finger...in the meantime, the cyborgs kept pressing on him, trying to disembowel him in close-quarter combat (and keep his gaze focused on them and not his hand...). He may have been able to feel something working in his mind, some energy, some pull, some beam...maybe even some voice? Trying to work through his barrier... ...and on that subject, a pair of the terrors flung themselves at Fox, attempting to grab onto/hug his barrier, that they might then slowly build up a charge of energy, exploding on it and attempting to inflict damage/break down his mental barrier! One went flying away from Rei, flung by her telekinetic powers, and two more closed in with her, lunging with claws out and maws open wide! They kept coming at Mari, in order to keep her gaze focused, but she WAS keeping Rei from being surrounded on all sides... ...but the sight of Rei seemed to have driven the horrors into a frenzy, and it seemed it was she, above all, that they wished to devour. [---] Jagan would begin to hear the pitter-patter of mechanical feet approaching his position, however far-off they were for the time being. But Jagan wasn't in the dark for too terribly long-anyone paying attention may have noticed, that just as the image of Rei said, since the facility wide sea-monster-esque wail had sounded out, the facility was slowly coming online. While much of it was in disrepair, lights were beginning to come on with somewhat-greater reliability than before, machinery was becoming active, and the base, such as it was in its admittedly somewhat run-down state, was "waking up". The sealed doors remained so, however, though they were clearly active. [---] Omega had a minigun. Asuka had her (thematically appropriate) WP round-equipped rifle, causing her targets to burst into flames. Didymus' approach was comparable to Omega's, in that it was very direct. But Didymus' armor was built for power and endurance. Which meant the ability to handle intense recoil. He raised his own rifle up, and let loose with full-auto bursts of energy-coated solid "bullets" of considerable size. He carried spare ammo in many pouches. His weapon was not designed to PENETRATE armor or shields. It was designed to overload the latter and simply PUNCH through-if not blow off entirely-the former. The abominations kept coming under Omega's rounds, but the damage to their internal workings (or inflicted by Omega's sword strikes) eventually felled them. Similarly, the impacts on Asuka's weapon also were not instantly fatal-but their results were no less terrifying or potent as the horrors shrieked and wailed as their parts (particularly the organic ones) were cooked and they finally stopped moving. Didymus' weapon was simply blowing off what parts it hit, sometimes causing the abominations to explode from the sheer force of the hits. Despite their different styles, the three of them advanced calmly, coolly, resolutely. And most of Asuka's kills wailed with pain. Most of Didymus' didn't even get the chance to speak. But Omega could have sworn, perhaps, he picked up from ONE of the creatures, amidst the wails of pain and of hunger and about "vengance", one of the horrors, just before it stopped moving, let out a labored..."Thank...you..." as it died. The three advanced; a unit. A team. Slowly but surely, they cleaved a bloody swath through the monsters, advancing deeper and further along the path of emergency lights that Yui had provided. "Great job." Didymus said, reloading in a lull. "But something isn't right here...they came from one direction, and we're walking right along the provided path of someone we're here to ARREST. We ARE going deeper into the facility from what I can tell..." he was broadcasting on their internal com-link, so as to try to mask what he said, though he suspected they could still be eavesdropped on with hacking-"...but I don't like this. Nothing about it. The images and their points, these terrifying things, and whatever...we KNOW Ikari has something up her sleeve. And the base...you all see it too, right? It's...coming online...probably connected with whatever that...loud wail was earlier." He shook his head. "Whatever it is...steel yourselves. You all know what I'd say about faith and all that, but whether you do that or not...steel yourselves. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but something is very very wrong here...heh, you know, if that wasn't already obvious." They pressed on, drawing near the center of the facility themselves...labs and holding cells passing by them. A voice whispered, faintly. "Welcome home, Asuka..." [---] "Yes, yes...I have found a personality that can control it." Yui said. "That is in part why I've brought you here." she said. "Please, look into the folder. My notes, and information on the personality, are in there...all that I've been up to these past years...the final results of my work..." The hologram looked out, flickered in and out of visibility for a moment, but seemed to make no further moves but to look around, its green eyes eventually settling on Gendo. It smiled sweetly, allowing its light-brown hair to drape over its face, as if the hologram were a real image effected by gravity. Across the way, in the distant-but-visible control room, Yui continued to work at her console, appearing to be focusing very intently on it. "Power within acceptable levels..." she muttered. "All systems responding as predicted...critical systems green..." Her eyes had not left her console, whatever it was she was looking at-possibly multiple things on it. I can't see what you're imagining

-Hawkins' House- Galv paused, kissing Melanie back. “Wasn't much of a spar... he wanted to see what my lightning was capable of,” Galv said, glancing between the two, starting to pick up on something. “...You two weren't fighting, were you?” Galv asked, guessing the wrong thing. “...No...” Lily said, turning red, “I... it was my fault... I... sorta... kinda... kissed Melanie.” “...What?” Galv said. He wasn't angry though. Just... confused. And not sure he heard his twin sister right. -The Spork- “You go after this guy again, you're dead,” Felix said, plopping down in a chair himself, “Thanks for the pick up, by the way.” “Oh, yah... Sama, Jimi, this is Felix. He was a guard on the station,” Hammah said, “He and that Locust guy, apparently.” Felix nodded, “Yah... And like I said to the girl and blondie here, I use to work with Locust, back during the Insurrection. We hated each other's guts, but we worked together because we were in the same squad. Don't want you all to think I'm hiding something.” A glowing green hologram appeared now in the center of the room, only about six inches high, of a figure in power armor. “And I thank you for the rescue, but I must get back to where I belong. A ship should be here shortly for me,” Delta said, when an alarm blasted over the speakers. A ship had appeared, a very large ship, and not too far from their ship, locking unto them. “That would be them,” Delta said calmly, “I'm sure you'll be fine.” -Zoness Facility- Something was gripping Sonic, forcing him to slow down. Sonic did not like that. “Urgh... What is this?” Sonic said, curling into a ball as several of the monsters started to come at him. Even while slowed, Sonic was still fast, and his power armor offered him protection as he started to spin, gathering power... Fox focused on the fight, blasting with both his blaster and his Ring, ducking and weaving. He wasn't as fast as Sonic, but he was agile, turning around as a pair of the beings jumped at him. He focused, green energy blasting from him in a bubble and forcing those two back, along with any of the others around him. Omega nodded as they stepped forward, thinking over what the creature had said. Perhaps, what they were doing is a form of mercy. “...Comrade Didymus, I know you said not to bring too heavy weaponry... But if push comes to shove, and we must destroy the facility... I can do that, if you give the order,” Omega said quietly to Didymus, “It is not an offer I make lightly... but... if it must... I believe I could hold off a horde as you and Asuka escape, and then take this place down.” |

[Zoness Facility] Up in the combat zone two floors above Jagan, the toys he left behind finally revealed themselves. The doorway electric field caught several of the incoming mutant crowd, zapping them into temporary paralysis, leaving them open to be finished off with impunity. Unfortunately, the field was never meant to stop a bunching crowd of rabid zombies, and it managed to only take a dozen opponents before the two field generators overloaded and the field cut out as the generators opened their casing to vent heat from their internal components. It would be some time before they would reactivate, and they were open for destruction by anyone who would pay close attention. Fortunately, none of these creatures seemed to pay attention to such details. In addition to that field, however, there were two more things. A pair of combat support drones, which defaulted to standby when Jagan talked to Fox and the others, and never came out of standby because he never actually issued any commands. It was only now that they calculated threat risk, and ran backup protocols. And surprisingly, both zoomed in on Rei, the girl showing up in their databanks as a VIP. Returning to active combat support, they set Rei as their vector of action, and both drones opened fire simultaneously on the creatures trying to overwhelm the blue-haired girl. Two darts flew through the air, striking two of the mutant figures simultaneously, followed by a tremendously loud crack of thunder as two lightning bolts projected from the drones, intersected and crossed with one another since they were both aiming at the two darts simultaneously, and the resulting crossed lightning bolt forked and split through multiple targets at once, making very short work of unshielded flesh and metal. The flash and bang of the lightning itself was also tremendously disorienting, both to attackers and the defenders. --- Down below, the facility continued its slow awakening as emergency lighting started to flicker on in the cargo shaft Jagan was moving through. He paused... And without further ado quickly typed a few things on his holo-screen, going down to one knee and placing several spheres the size of softballs on the ground, rolling them in random directions. The spheres rolled up against walls and each deployed four spider-legs, latching into the metal around them and quickly scuttling their way into various corners. These little bots had no combat purpose whatsoever. Instead, they had several tools built in for tunneling and pathmaking through material, as well as sophisticated cross-operational systems for linking into programming. They were hack-bots, plain and simple, and each sought data lines they could use. There were none here. But as the facility continued to wake up, more and more of its systems came online, allowing the small spherical hack-bots to detect the telltale electromagnetic fields surrounding wires that conveyed data. It was only a matter of time before one found what it was programmed to search for. Jagan, in the meantime, finally made his way to the large sealed blast doors. Similarly to before, he pulled out the same metallic hemisphere that he used previously to make a man-sized hole through several layers of solid steel and set it on the lower locking mechanism of the blast doors themselves, choosing one of the main supports that locked the door into place as the setting point. As the hemisphere deployed its own 8 arms and electric arcs began to build between said arms, Jagan reloaded his pistols with different ammo. Shieldbusters were good for general use, but stealth was thrown out the window a while ago. It was time for him to make a bit more of a splash, and that meant using ammunition that packed more punch. He felt he was going to need it. It took him a bit longer than usual to reload properly, his vision periodically swam and every once in a while he felt feedback from his rewakened link, but distance between them seemed to ease some pressure off of the link and off of both of them. |

[Zoness Facility] Rei's vision was finally readjusting, but she knew she was in a terrible situation. She couldn't rely on her powers at the moment so she instead reached down into her bag, pulling out a pistol and firing at the nearest cyborg. The armor-piercing rounds could in theory tear through the monsters, but Rei knew it was only a stop measure. “WE NEED TO GET IN THAT DAMN HOLE!” Mari yelled. She was still firing, sending lasers at the monsters, but the barrel of her rifle was quickly heating up so much she knew she couldn't keep it going much longer... […] “Forget it bolts-for-brains.” Asuka growled at Omega as he made the offer. “I've lost enough to NERV... I'm not letting either of you die here.” She frowned, as she thought about Didymus' words. “Whatever that crazy b*tch is doing is dangerous. I'm not surprised... I don't know what she wants from us, but I can guarantee you this – it's something VERY bad. These things, the visions, the monsters... it's all part of some plan. And if there's one thing I know about NERV it's that their plans are always the worst.” […] Gendo started going through the notes, trying to find some answers. [The Spork] Sama raised an eyebrow towards Felix. With a quick flash his Blue Lantern uniform disappeared and he was back in his normal attire. He simply shrugged, leaning against the wall. “I appreciate the warning, but we don't die easy. I've been in just about every major armed conflict since the Black Arms first showed up. We can take this guy, even if it won't be easy.” Then the larger ship appeared and Sama groaned. He rushed over to the computer and tried to open a hailing frequency with it. “Who the heck are those guys?” |

I'll bite your legs off!
|
Zoness Facility The sentry bots deployed by Jagan fired their arcs of electricty, and some of the approaching cyborgs were hit by the streaming current, fidgeting before finally dropping and moving no more. Some, however, namely the less grotesque ones, seemed to shrug it off, and there were still others coming! Mari had put quite a dent in their numbers via a combination of her rather zealous shooting as well as the fact that, while she was by no means ignored, the abominations seemed to be paying less attention to her, slightly, than the others... ...Sonic's armor continued to build up charge, and the invisible force continued to hold him in place...as other cyborgs, claws charged with energy, lunged at him, clawing and biting at his suit! Fox's bubble bought him some time...but the cyborgs got up again, and this time more came at him-four this time attempting to latch onto and detonate themselves atop his shield! Rei's pistol was indeed a temporary measure, for as soon as the near one felled, the second one, one of the stronger abominations, reached out a clawed hand for her leg...of course it was right there, she may be fast enough to hit it...and while it appeared that there was a bit of breathing room bought by their combined efforts, more terrors continued to stalk down the halls from either/all directions the hall extended from... --- As the base came online again, and Jagan's drone attempted to cut into the door, a sound like a low buzz, or whir, was heard. The drone shook from an energy feedback that would knock it to the floor (though not destroy it). The drone was still active and ready for action, but its first attempt to cut through the reinforced heavy door had been rebuffed. "UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS ATTEMPT DETECTED" sounded out from the PA system of the now well-lit room. It was at this point that more cyborgs appeared in Jagan's vision, heading towards him! --- Didymus paused at Omega and Asuka's statements. "I'll keep that in mind, Omega...but I don't intend to make that call unless absolutely necessary. And even then, the facility's destruction need not come hand-in-hand with one of us staying behind to share its fate. That said, I'm not sure how we WOULD destroy this facility with our current armaments...though I'm sure we could find ways. But I do intend pull us all out of here, for my part." He wasn't sure whether to joke at Asuka's remarks, remark that reality wasn't always so kind, or express some manner of warmth or recognition that Asuka was regarding Omega and himself as "hers" in some way that showed value. He shrugged at Asuka's words about NERV, though. "No doubt...but...I don't know. Something has felt particularly...wrong...here. More so than usual. Maybe it's the horrors we just killed...maybe it IS just me...but I don't-" Suddenly, Misato's voice could be heard on the com-link. "..ome in! Can you read!" "What th-yes, reading you. Why..." Didymus responded. "We've been trying to raise you since you went down there! There must have been some kind of jamming field, but fearing what else may get put out, we've got some comms reinforcements of our own on hand now." Misato reported. "Various mobian ships have showed up to help blockade the planet's comms and ensure that Ikari doesn't get anything out. And now...we're punching through." Misato's voice was a bit grainy, but it was clear enough. "Have you learned anything? We're detecting a massive power spike in the base's readings...what we CAN get at least..." she said. "Negative, negative, Ikari...is toying with us, I think. But we're making our way inside. Especially with comms up, we can see where we're going a bit more...will contact when we know what's going on." "Rodger." Misato replied. Didymus looked to Asuka and Omega. "The base's central control is this way!" Didymus said. "Or at least, appears to be based on what readings I can now get..." He paused. "Funny thing is, it looks like Ikari actually has been leading us in the right direction, so far...but I can't get a COMPLETELY precise reading...still, that fact makes me wonder just what is going on...she DID mention not wanting to let our...prize...get away...what is her endgame, though..." He nodded to the two of them again. "But for now, I suppose...press on." He continued to advance down the hallways. Occassionally a cyborg or squad of them presented themselves, but never in such strength that they couldn't make short work of them. But it was clear; they had to keep moving... --- Finally, Gendo looked through the files that Yui had provided him. The initial pages were her research notes and methods for building the next Eva that he could now see through the glass-her failed attempts, notes on the behavior of the new prototypes, and finally her method of fusing artificially-grown organic tissue with heavy cybernetic augmentation to create the massive beast of flesh and metal that stood now hooked into all manner of power outlets and tubes, looking up at the massive bay doors separating it from the sea with a masked, freakish grin... The next part was it was a log of extensive programming research. Yui had spent a very long time in solitude here, it seems, studying human behavior based on records she could access, as well as writing line after line after line after line of code. There was clear passion in the writing, as she was taking very specific care in writing this program...passages near the end finally started to read along these lines: "Finally...as if I had truly given birth. She thinks. She analyzes. She learns. But more importantly, she FEELS. I have not written a program, arguably, as much as birthed a child. Would that I had not had to do this...but I must raise the her. I must show her what she needs to see. What I have seen. What I know to be true. I begin her education tomorrow." And another entry, later: "She has viewed it. She has FELT it. I have made her FEEL it. Every sin of life in the world. The savagery of human history. All manner of persectuion and pain and foolishness, and she has FELT it all. I feel her growing beyond my control, learning things I did not mean to teach her, accessing files that I had not given her...I am curious as to how this has unfolded, but I suppose it means my success is even greater than I realize. I shall ensure I have complete control over the system. Artificial Intelligence may be by nature dangerous, but she's still a computer program by nature-I have administrator control, she will be literally unable to break safeguards she is programmed not to break and the system is literally unable, by its nature, to let her past. Her education continues...she will be ready soon." And STILL later. "All of it. Human or otherwise, she has seen, nay, FELT it all. I have exposed her to all manner of pain that organics have inflicted on themselves throughout history-including NERV. ESPECIALLY NERV. She knows now, but more importantly, she FEELS, of this I am sure. She remains obeidient, but I wonder how much of this is because she sees me as mother, and how much is because she is unable to break the safeguards I have imposed-the system HAS logged her attempts to do so which have grown increasingly rare as she's realized it's futile. She is sad, I can tell. She is ANGRY, I can tell. She is READY. My sweet Sakura...she appears to be pleased with the form I have designed for her-one I was able to piece together from data samples I kept..." The last pages were something else entirely-a medical report: Event: Miscarriage Details: The patient has been under severe stress due to loss of a child (as far as she knows), distance from her spouse (whom she has not seen in months), and a stressful and dangerous work. Her pregnancy was in the second trimester, but the above issues, combined with the lingering effects of exposure to toxic and mutagenic substances via the nature of her work, resulted in a malformed, shriveled fetus of a girl that hardly left a visible change in her external appearance. Fetus disconnected from umbilical-which had rotted off inside the uterus-and entered the birth canal already deceased. Removal via artificial labor and surgery was necessary. Despite this, patient is expected to make a full physical recovery, but the chances of future fertility are almost nonexistent-she is, from a medical perspective, officially infertile due to the complications which terminated this pregnancy. Despite, or possibly because, of this, subject has been sullen, miserable, and emotionally unstable since awakening from the operation. Despite the child's pre-birth deceased status, she has named her "Sakura" and intends to give the remains a proper memorial service. Patient: Ikari, Yui" Finally, the last page had a picture. "Projected child appearance based on DNA sample (and abnormalities corrected):" The picture looked exactly like the holographic "child" that had been chasing Gendo. Yui's voice sounded out over the intercom. "You took my son. And THAT could have been my daughter. You PROVED you have no regrets when you rebuffed the fake "Shinji" earlier." Suddenly, the doors behind Gendo were themselves covered by a second set of shielded, reinforced blast doors. The hologram of Sakura smiled sweetly. "Daddy." she said, as Yui's voice sounded out, and the lights in Gendo's room suddenly went out (though some light still poured in through the windows from the other rooms. "Welcome to your worst nightmare, you heartless b******." Edited by The Vidit of Light, Sep 19 2016, 10:44 PM.

-Hawkins' House- “...No...” Lily said, turning red, “I... it was my fault... I... sorta... kinda... kissed Melanie.” Instantly Melanie's eyes widened and face went bright red. Her hand went over her mouth and she looked to Galv and then back to Lily. She KNEW Lily was trying to destroy her. "WHY WOULD YOU EVEN SAY THAT?!" The girl exclaimed through her hands. She meant to ease Galv gently into the fact that his sister had a thing for her-not just throw him in head first! She was absolutely doomed. Unable to say much of anything (and feeling dizzy due to all the blood in her face now) Melanie made a hasity retreat up the stairs and into Galv's room. She would have gone into her own but she REALLY didn't want to see Lily right now. |

I can't see what you're imagining

-Zoness Facility- There was a brief pause as Sonic finished speeding, too fast to quite notice, as enough energy had been gathered. “Light Speed!” Sonic declared, then shot forward faster then he had previously, pushing himself to his limit as he became a blur of color, smashing through several of the cyborgs. Fox meanwhile was forced backwards by a series of explosions, stumbling back as his focus wavered for a moment. “No! I am Fox McCloud, I'm not going down here,” Fox declared, “I still have to find Falco...” Green energy glowed brighter around Fox as he focused, renewing his will. Green armor appeared around him now, glowing as Fox appeared to be wearing glowing green power armor. Omega was quiet as they moved along, taking out several cyborgs as they pressed forward. “I do not have a weapon that could take out this facility... But if it is needed... I can initiate my self destruct. My power core should be capable of destroying this facility,” Omega said. -The Spork- “This is the Mother of Invention,” a voice over the hailing frequency said, “We understand you have property that belongs to us. Prepare to be boarded.” “They have us in a tractor beam...” Hammah said, tapping some controls. “We better be careful...” “They simply wish to retrieve me,” Delta said, “I'm sure everything will be fine.” -Hawkins' House- Galv was quiet for a long moment as Melanie ran up the stairs after she yelled, then turned towards Lily. “You... kissed... Melanie?” Galv asked. There wasn't any anger, just... confusion. Lily nodded slowly, beet red, not trusting herself to say anything. “...Why?” Galv finally asked. “I... I'm not entirely sure myself...” Lily said, “Oh god... I'm sorry, I really am! It was... stupid of me... I... I'm leaving anyways...” “Wait, leaving, why?” Galv asked, having too many things on his mind, focusing on just one thing right now. “...Because I'm not sure I belong here... I have to go and... find out where I do...” Lily answered. Lily paused and grabbed her bag now, looking over at her brother. “...It's not Melanie's fault, it's my mistake... don't be angry at her...” Lily then turned and headed out the door, leaving Galv looking very confused. After a moment he turned and headed up the stairs, pausing and opening the door to his room, assuming Melanie would be there. “...Melanie?” Galv asked quietly, “Are you alright?” |

-Hawkins' House- “...Melanie?” Galv asked quietly, “Are you alright?” Melanie looked up from Galv's bed, which she had been lying on in an embarrassed huff. She could still feel her cheeks were bright red, but she tried not to look too mortified at what had just happened five minutes ago. "G-Galv.....Uhhhh." Melanie was plunged back into silence, unsure of what to say. Finally she took a small breath "I'm sorry-" She paused again. She knew it wasn't her fault per se, but it felt necessary. |
